A solid 4 star resort. Perfect for late Spring, off-peak travel. I could see the pool/beach club and restaurants feeling crowded during peak travel weeks. Easy to relax at without being overstimulated too often.

We absolutely love Fiesta Americana Cozumel! The staff truly goes above and beyond for an all inclusive resort. This keeps us coming back year after year. We cannot thank Arturo, Alejandra, Gabriel, Aaron, and Victor enough for making sure we had everything we needed to make the most of our stay. We were celebrating my fiances birthday on this trip and they went out of their way to make it a memorable day! This hotel offers incredible ocean view rooms, various restaurant options, multiple pools including a swim up bar, activities for kids and evening entertainment, and some of the best snorkeling. We cannot wait to return!

I have nothing but good things to say about this resort. It had everything we were looking for and more. Staff was all excellent, especially Miguel our pool waiter. We did not leave the resort the entire week and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We have 2 young kids (2 & 4) and they also had a blast. I would definitely go back.

My family of five had the best time ever. I have a child that is gluten-free and they had food accommodations at every restaurant for him with a variety a huge variety of foods. As a mom that was my biggest concern but it exceeded my expectations... The water/reef was beautiful. The staff was amazing. The property was safe and very clean. Overall this trip was a 10 out of 10..... Every restaurant had amazing food. Definitely someplace we come again.

Room was showing a lot of age...snorkeling by hotel is nice but it is across the street. All inclusive should also be more inclusive. Have some paddle boards or SUPs available and don't charge to rent snorkel gear. And get better bartenders who can make a proper drink!

We stayed in a honeymoon suite and it was absolutely perfect, I want to note that that room has two bathrooms with two showers, which was perfect. We were in room 520 and we absolutely loved it. The room is very divided into two so it’s great for people who are traveling in groups of three. The pool was very clean. The The Italian restaurant was by far our favorite the lasagna and chicken were amazing! We also enjoyed all the other restaurants. The drinks were great and the wine there was actually delicious, usually I don’t like the wine at the all-inclusives. The staff was all super friendly and definitely took care of you! The ocean was absolutely beautiful. It is easy to access from the stairs. I wish I would have gone in sooner to snorkel. The fish were incredible to see. It is definitely a resort for relaxation. This is not a party resort. We absolutely enjoyed our time here and it was definitely one of my favorite resorts I’ve ever been to!!! Thank you to all the staff at fiesta Americana. We had an amazing vacation.

Good resort size and location. While nearly full, it didn’t feel overcrowded. Food generally good, with oriental, cevicheria and breakfast buffet standing out. Nice pool and beach club area. Great snorkeling. Things worked smoothly and enjoyable for large family group of 15. A bit run down in spots and room bathroom layout was tight. Some staff seemed a little fatigued. Solo bartender at main bar was not enough. Concierge , Juan Carlos, paid very nice attention although the vacation sale was always in the background

The overall condition of the property is in need of a refresh.
Check-in:
After check-in you will meet with your concierge and will be pressured to attend a “welcome breakfast” for the following morning. They are trying to sell you a membership in their vacation club. We declined, but it was not easy. It was an aggressive attempt to get us to sit down with a sales person. Do your homework before you go so you understand what they are selling. And know that you will be giving up a couple of precious hours of your vacation if you agree to attend.
Food:
The coffee shop was great, the buffet, not so much. Don’t eat any food from the buffet that is not covered. Most of the food is covered to shield it from the birds but the food that was not covered often had birds landing in it.
Availability at the restaurants was great. We were able to get reservations with no problem.
Pool:
The pool area was nice. They offer several different options to choose from: wading, kid and lap pools. There was an adequate number of chairs and beds to relax and soak up the sun in all the pool areas.

The staff was courteous, but they really pressure you to buy their vacation club package. The rooms were clean, but we had issues with ants every day, but they came to clean the room as soon as we notified them about it. We wish they had some sort of energy drinks. They do provide pool towels and they are large. The shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms is not the best quality so you might want to bring your own. I would say this is a budget, friendly all inclusive compared to other hotels or resorts we’ve stayed at.

The servers at the restaurants were all top-notch and very helpful. Especially Angel and Edgar went above and beyond every day. They made our stay at the fiesta Americana much more enjoyable.

7th time at Fiesta Americana Cozumel and will never go anywhere else.Absolulutely love the quaint resort and the cleanliness and the food and the complete experience.Have brought near 40 friends and family and many are repeat customers.Snorkelling right in front of resort is fantastic but perhaps the best thing about Fiesta is the staff that we have met over the years.When you arrive,you are greeted by the head porter Martin who is the most welcoming gentleman.
You then wake up and enjoy the most fabulous breakfast and are welcomed by a warm hug from the hostess Alex.You will likely meet Arturo ,the captain who will assure you that anything you want....just ask...I have known this wonderful genuine gentleman since our first stay and just cant say enough about my friend.
At breakfast you may be served by Gabriel who is also so friendly and welcoming.
Be sure to have a fantastic breakfast taco by my favorite lady Vicky...She works so hard and is just such a warm person.
We then move on to lunch and I am hard pressed to reccomend the many choices.You could serioucly overdoce on the freshest seafood or a fantastistc burger at the grill.Perhaps the ceviche bar may be my favorite beacause of my dear friend Jose who will gladly get you anything from the grill when you are seated at the Ceviche bar...
Head chef Jose is a wonderful gentleman constantly evolving the fabulous dinner menu.You may be welcomed by hostess Fernanda who is just so wonderful.

Stayed on the sixth floor in a master suite ocean view. The room was decent. It's a two room design with two bathrooms and separate sitting / dining area. Started off the first day on the 3rd floor looking at trees when we had booked an ocean view on a higher floor. They were apologetic and rectified it the following day. The location of the resort is good, not far from town. The number of restaurants is limited, however the overall quality of the food was very good, with the exception of the lunch buffet on the beach which wasn't the best. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Martin, one of the porters, was super friendly and helpful both at the start and end of the stay.
Snorkeling out front is great and with a commercial dock many of the excursions pick you up right at the resort.
Overall this resort is a good option.

Breakfast and lunch buffet was exposed to the elements and birds. Depending on weather it was not comfortable to dine outdoors.

TRUE REVIEW- READ! Very small property, very small pool, lack of entertainment, speciality restaurants not good at all, foods poisoning at the lunch buffet, room is very noisy if there a events , 10 pm we still heard music very loud, New Year blast of music till 2:30 AM!
Booked ocean view room, check in and we figure out - we barely can see any sea! It parking lot view!
Lack of options for vegetarian, lack of entertainment! Staffs careless when u had foods poisoning!!! NOT RECOMMENDED THIS RESORT AT ALL!!
Beware of time share / vacation club guy patrolling at the lobby area! Overall you not feel welcome at all! This resort not the same like Fiesta Americana at Los Cabo’s, this resort not even close to Fiesta Americana los Cabo’s. Will not returned! If we can rate 0 we will do so!! 3 speciality restaurants, 3 not good at all! Mexican restaurants @ the resort the worse, my teenagers refuse to go back!

Check in a nightmare!!! After check in they sit you down with vacation club people!!! Come on !!! No common sense at all !!! We are waking up from 3 am and you really think we will want to sign up for vacation club !!!

The staff (Alejandra at the buffet, Juan and Aaron the bartenders at the beach) were fantastic! Everyone else were great too! Very friendly staff.
Rooms were a bit dated and oddly repaired (bathroom exhaust vents replaced with smaller vents than the original, and chaulking looked like I had done it, and that's not good..lol), but big rooms overall. Big balconies with great views on the 4th floor.
The restaurants were good and not too busy at the start of Christmas vacation. It was getting busier when we left. The sushi bar was very good. Buffet for breakfast and lunch had lots of selection.
The Grill and La Cevicheria restaurants on the beach had excellent food! The fish tacos were delicious.
Overall the food was what you would expect at an all inclusive.
Every night there were shows and quite often vendors with neat things (street painter, ceramics, clothing, etc).
Snorkelling right off the dock was really cool with lots of colourful fish to see. Water shoes helped getting in and out of the water as there is no sandy beach area.

We love the location, the food is really good, the rooms are large and clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, and it is a good value for your money. The problem is the noise around the pool. In the afternoons they have pool games with the hostess screaming into a microphone with the volume cranked up. There are only about 10 people playing the games and they are all within 20 feet of her so no need to scream.....she really doesn't even need a microphone. In the evenings they have disco/dance music around the pool. Again, there are only about 10 people attending but the volume is cranked way up. They obviously don't understand the demographic of people the resort attracts. The entertainment is for single, 20 somethings, looking for action. The people staying there are couples/grandparents with young children, and middle-age to seniors who are in Cozumel for the diving and/or relaxation. It's hard to relax when you can hear and feel the vibration of the base when you're in you're in your room, and you can't sit on your balcony because of the loud screaming or music. I should note that all of the rooms overlook the pool and the ocean so you can't get away from the noise.
If you ignore the noise, I give it a 5. But you can't ignore it, so I give it a 3. We would love to come back, but that is highly unlikely unless the noise is addressed.

The hotel is very nice, large rooms and good food. The reason for the poor review is because of loudness of the pool and staff performing pool a activities. The constant noise starts about 3:00-5:00 and again around 7:00-9:00. You cant get away from it since all rooms face the pool. Its impossible to sit on your balcony and read a book. I hate to say it but I do not plan to go back.

They treat the hotel like a night club. Pounding base music all day until late in the evening, reverberating to all rooms facing the ocean/pool. And when they do the Karaoke by the pool, it's just CRAZY. Never again.

Not fancy, but our favorite place to stay on Cozumel. It is out of town, so nice and quiet. Very good snorkeling, and pier to meet dive boats. Staff are excellent. Food is good but typical for resorts, with somewhat limited variety. Inexplicably, ice cream is not available at the coffee bar until after 1:00!! It is right there in the cooler, but they wouldn't serve it to us. Hopefully that will change, but even if not, we plan to return.

Check in process was lengthy, sat around for an hour while waiting for room to be ready. To be fair we also got there at about 2:30, which is before check in time. During this time we were approached by a time share sales person who was somewhat pushy. He kept trying to get us to do the timeshare presentation for the next few days whenever we would see him around the hotel.
Restaurants could use a varying menu, same 5-6 entrees offered each night. Portion size was on the small side if you are used to american sized meals. It was fine for us, we are not big eaters, but some may want to be sure they order appetizer, and soup, entree, and desert in order to be filled.

We had a great time in off season. The property was clean and service was great. Ac was very cold. I love the beds and lounging. Plenty of access to towels. I loved that the food in buffets were closed off for bugs. Because it was off season it wasn’t crowded and very pleasant. The water is beautiful with many fish to see. It was so warm and clear.
Pool service was fantastic. Aaron was great. The seafood restaurant had some of the best food I’ve had at an all inclusive. Taxi ride to downtown was about $15 and 10 minutes. Plenty of seats and towels.
Cons:
Kids club didn’t open until 12.
The buffet wasn’t open at night but you need a reservation to the restaurants. The Mexican restaurant was great but we did not like the Asian.
When checking out the elevator was broken. We were on the 6th floor. I traveled with 3 kids solo and had several bags and a stroller and no one would answer the phone for help.
The spa amenities do not come with service when you book. I’ve never been to a resort that doesn’t let you use the hot tub or sauna if you book a service. We all had massages and weren’t allowed to use the amenities.

This is our ninth time to stay here, but the first in ten years. The nighttime restaurant food quality is significantly diminished, while the daytime offerings were about the same. The nightly entertainment outdoors was extremely loud from 8 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Not conductive to a quiet place to watch the sunset or go to bed early. The staff is EXCELLENT and very attentive.

Water was leaking from ceiling when it rained. Water flow from shower was so slow. There was a huge ant infestation that was present throughout our entire stay. The first day wee were given pastries as a gift upon our first arrival, and was surrounded entirely by ants everywhere in large quantities. We immediately called room service to put a stop to it, and we were given a can of bug spray that was almost empty. The days after we had ants all over the floors at random places in time. They were from the floor, to behind the bed frame, or sink. It was uncomfortable knowing that each time I set foot in the room, ants could be near or on you when you're sleeping. It ruined the enjoyment of the rooms. This is beyond disgusting and UNACCEPTABLE. It needs to be addressed immediately so other guests do not have this type of problem.

The bartenders need more experience on how to make cocktails. All drinks were mainly fruit juice and colored syrup with less alcohol. Sometimes it felt they were improvising instead of following certain recipes on how to make drinks properly.

Food is a mixed bag. There is not much to choose from when it comes to buffets compared to other resorts, but the food is generally flavorful and good. By the third day you can definitely see that the food is repetitive during the lunch buffet. A rotating menu can also be nice at each of the three restaurants. It can definitely benefit from more variety, food options, and more vegetarian options.

Absolutely beautiful resort. Our room was magnificent. The views from both the living room and the bedroom were stunning. We had an enormous bath in our bedroom. Our wonderful housekeeper Anita restocked our fridge and water and cleaned our room beautifully every day. What a treat after our daily adventures. We had a couples massage. I can’t say enough about the pampering we received from Yazmin and Naomi. Wow!!! Miguel was our favorite server, at the pool. I always had a dink in my hand. 🍹😃 The food!!!! Omg. Arturo….. gracias!!🙏 he truly takes such pride in what he does. I’m missing so many incredible people in this post. Just know. We can’t wait to return! Bravo!

We had an excellent stay at Fiesta Americana. We visit often and this in now our new favorite hotel. Service was excellent from the front desk to the pool waiter. Special thanks to Miguel, Jose, Manuel, Ruby, Gabriel & Christian. What really pleased us is when my son had an earache we were going to take a taxi to the pharmacy, they called the pharmacy themselves, ordered the medication for us, and had it delivered to the hotel within 45 minutes! We were very appreciative. They took great care of us. Food is delicious and so were the drinks. Upgrading to a room with a private pool is well worth it. Only negative is no beach to walk into the ocean, it’s still a beautiful view though with being able to snorkel and jump right into the ocean.

The Stars of this resort is The Staff. We felt special from the moment we arrived until the day we left.

2 things we missed: the ocean breeze and the sound of the surf. Being on the mainland-facing side of the island, you don’t get the ocean breeze & having no beach area means no surf to lull me to sleep.

A couple notes: 2 options for breakfast: the buffet that’s outside and across the street & room service.
No buffet for dinner. You can make reservations at the restaurants or order from room service.

It is a small resort, but fun. The pool is lovely. The snorkeling on the beach area is beautiful & filled with beautiful fish and reef.

Traveled with a group of 6 and we had a great time. Had a 3 bedroom that gave us plenty of space. The water was amazing for snorkeling, kids loved the pool. Staff was great, favorite restaurant was the grill by the water and buffet for breakfast. The other restaurant for dinner was just okay, took at least 2 hours each night to eat dinner, service was very slow and food at times was not good.

We enjoyed our stay at Fiesta Americana in Cozumel. The staff was helpful and friendly, rooms were spacious and clean, and the food was great!!! We traveled with 14 total, and all had a great time!

Everything was great, but I want to give a special shout-out to all the hotel staff.
Front desk, waiters, bartenders, cooks, housekeepers… everyone was doing an amazing job! You can truly see the effort, dedication, and kindness in the way they work. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

This place was perfect. The staff were amazing and attentive. Really wonderful! It was a smaller resort which we loved. But it had all the amenities of a larger resort. For the most part the food was very good and the restaurants were good . The kids had a ball. I’ve stayed at many all inclusives and I would go back here in a heartbeat. The rooms were very clean and well stocked. Room service was always prompt. Snorkeling was good right off the hotel . All in all a fantastic place to stay

Overall our family of 4 with two teenagers had a good stay. As with any AI there were pros and cons. We were on the 6th floor and the view was amazing, but FYI trees would block many lower floor views. The pool is redone beautifully, and the over water terrace beds are amazing. Great snorkeling out front (bring your own gear). Great drinks with quality booze options, but no alcohol served until 11 AM. The restaurants were excellent, we loved the lunch cevicheria, however the buffet wasnt very good and there needs to be a net around the whole dining area to keep birds out of the food that’s not covered. Check schedule and make online reservations for dinner at the restaurants, no limit but not all are open every night. Wished there were more activities during the day, the evening entertainment was ok- I think the fire show is the highlight but we weren’t there for that. Air conditioning was great in one of our rooms but wouldn’t get below 23c/75f in the other. Overall an awesome hotel for adults but there are better options for families with kids.

Every staff member was extremely nice and very helpful. The food was really good. Especially the quesadillas you can order at the buffet. Check in and out was really easy. The spa was so relaxing. The pool is pretty spacious and is always clean. The waiters were always extremely fast with refilling your drink or taking away empty plates. Housekeeping always made our room look spotless. Overall we were very pleased and we had a great time.

I was so sad to leave Fiesta, we got on first name basis with all the staff. One which continually called me “boss” and would bring me a new drink every time I was empty. It was such a cool vibe, it was a party everyday but also relaxing. Every restaurant had great food options all included, drinks were top notch, that views, the snorkeling, the amenities to get around the island. It was just such a blast, we definitely will be coming back but this time for longer!

Let down.

I have stayed at 4 other Fiesta Americanas and some on repeat occasions. This one is not at the same level as the others. The engineer team must be very busy there. Service was fantastic. Food was not so great. Location is also very good. For the rate charged and my previous experiences at other Fiesta Americana Resorts, I expected at least the same.

Solid property by Cozumel standards. Beach is better than pictures - but water shoes are a must. Staff was very friendly. Spa was small but a nice touch with very good massages.

For the most part, it was quiet, clean, and calm. It is an older property that had some touchups. I do believe that another renovation can take place to make this resort better. The staff was friendly and the food was good. I do wish they had more activities for the guest and stayed open longer than 1030/11p for the bars. No foam days/nights in the pool. No dance spaces. No late night activities. Just not enough options for extra fun on the resort. Room service was not convenient via the app. We had a great time overall.

First off, the staff are very lovely and friendly. They were attentive and always made us feel welcome. The property is a little dated in that the furniture is relatively new but some of the amenities need updating as well as some lighting and fixtures could use some work. That being said it is clean, easy to get around the property but it is a smaller resort so there isn’t much outside of swimming and dining on the property. Plenty of excursions to do off property but all for extra costs. Not a knock against the resort but something just to be aware of. Also, this is a timeshare type property so we were offered free tickets to some excursions in exchange for “seeing how Fiesta Rewards” works. Again, not a knock against the property but the concierges did try to get us more than once. The property is in a decent location relative to the airport so it was a short 20 minute cab ride in and out. Dining options are ok. The buffet breakfast/lunch spot is right on the water and had plenty of seating but the food was similar every day. The three restaurants all require reservations but we never had a problem getting one and it’s simple to do from the web link they give you. Overall we had a great time.
