Wow….been to a lot of places but this was the best ever. Pool in the back, ocean in the front, kind friendly staff,
It was wonderful throughout.
The only two negatives was twice there was people smoking near the public area/restaurants, I couldn’t understand this.
The pillows were flat.
But over all it was above and beyond in every other way.

This resort is absolutely incredible. We had such a wonderful time scuba diving for the week and enjoying the beautiful property, gorgeous turquoise ocean water, wonderful pool/hot tub and the four fantastic restaurants! The on-site scuba company, Scuba Du, was incredible and so seamless we just loved enjoying our breakfast by the sea, and then jumping on a boat for a wonderful day of diving cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. We cannot wait to visit again!

One of the best trips we had done in the Caribbean this trip was #10 #1 to Cozumel. Scuba diving was really good all the staff was helpful specially Victor with cleaning and helping fix a problem I had with my gear. Coaky and Pueblo were great dive masters. Food was ok at 2 of the restaurants other 2 were good just pricey for what they are we did half food on resort other half took a taxi to town. Would advise going day one to mega store and getting some extra drinks beer and snacks for room was fun just doing that adventure. Will definitely come back and recommend.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The beach is spectacular. We had a beautiful ocean view room. Room was spacious. They do not have smart TV but we were mostly outdoors anyway. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The only thing that needs some improvement is the dinner restaurant food. It was not very tasty. The Mediterranean beach restaurant had a fantastic hummus. Buffet breakfast in a palapa was OK but could also be improved for the price paid.

Absolutely perfect stay at the Intercontinental. The beach has some of the clearest water I've ever seen and the pool area is also so lovely. We watched the sunset every night from the beach or restaurants. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast is great. Would 100% come back again!

we couldn't sleep properly cuz of mosquito parties. they have to renovate the whole rooms well so that bugs don't keep coming in. we had a lot of bites even on the face. even tho we didnt open doors often they still came in through some leaks i guess. I wont come back to pay so much money… all staff were nice and the ocean is beautiful.

Top to bottom one of the best reports we’ve stayed at. Their hospitality from check-in until check-out was OUTSTANDING.

Ill start off by all the great things, and then get into why I left 4 instead of 5. If there was a 4.5 I would have done that!

The resort was great. We booked a seafront king room, and were upgraded up a seafront king room with outdoor shower which was lovely. Being on our babymoon, I spent a lot of time in that outdoor shower! Housekeeping was flawless - one thing that really stood out is that no matter what time we left the room, they always cleaned it even if we didn’t leave until late afternoon. They also did the occasional turn down service, and sometimes stopped by the room with a cart of beverages to stock our fridge. The buffet breakfast that we had included in our stay was the best we’ve ever had in Mexico, and we’ve stayed at a LOT of resorts. Beds were very comfortable, everything always very fresh. Pool and ocean service was always great as well. There is some “leaving towels on chairs to reserve them for hours” but not as bad as some places I’ve seen.

The only reasoning I left off a star was because the à la carte food options were extortionate. It was cheaper for us to cab into town both ways and eat, than it was to have a meal at the resort. For example, the caprese salad worked out to be just under $30 CAD which I think might be the priciest salad I’ve ever see anywhere, globally!

Anyway - I still highly recommend this resort. It’s a real mix of a crowd from young families to retired couples. It never felt crowded and there was always somewhere to sit.

Yes rooms are very clean, the entire resort is clean. I had an issue with the shower faucet and it was fixed immediately. Staff very polite. Plenty of bottled water available. Restaurant service slow which should be expected in Mexico,so be prepared to slow down. The Presidente is wonderful!!

Stayed 1 week (group of 4) around New Year's Day.

--First the good:
Staff was very courteous. Room was spotless. Everything worked like clockwork (shower, toilet, sink, TV). Cleaning crew was always on top of things. The hanging rack at the balcony for wet swimming suits was a great detail.
Food was very good general. Prices were fair for the quality overall (except for New Year's Eve party --more on that later).
Service was good at front desk. Example: They got me an OTC medication I forgot to bring with me from home and delivered it to my door from a local pharmacy within 1 hour (crazy cheap, too!). Gym is good/big enough. Enough machines to do something different every day I showed up to exercise.

--The not so good:
The hotel lobby gives you the impression of a low-end hotel, which you don't expect considering the price you pay. It's not tacky nor dirty, just very understated (it doesn't \"wow\" you when you arrive).
Gift shop was fairly small. It fulfilled its purpose, but they could have gone a little bigger and more variety. The hotel is not that big, either. You walk the entire property in less 7 minutes.

--The dreadful:
The criminal violation that was that \"New Year's Eve\" party. Price was a complete abuse. Outrageous, horrifically expensive. Coming in we were excited about the food that night because we had been pleased with Faro Blanco & Alfredo Di Roma. >US$230/person gets you: a mediocre buffet; an OK DJ; a dreadful ambience duet, 12 grapes & no drinks.

My wife and I recently stayed at the InterContinental Presidente Cozumel Resort for nine nights. This was our first time at an InterContinental.

After a very long and challenging day getting to Cozumel and a fairly late arrival, we were taken care of splendidly from the moment we arrived to our departure.

The check-in process was simple but thorough as was checking out. All aspects of our stay were so well accommodated, from the well-kept grounds and housekeeping, to the staff at the great restaurants and bars.

We ate and drank at three of the four onsite restaurants and we both can say we did not have a disappointing bite, and also enjoyed our share of dry and dusty vodka martinis made to order, along with a plethora of wine choices. The food was wonderful and the portions more than reasonable. The chefs and dining staff at the El Caribeño, Alfredo Di Roma Trattoria, and Le Cap Beach Club are so professional and personable at the same time.

We also spent a morning at the Ikal Spa where we enjoyed various treatments from pedicure to facials and massage. Again, the treatment and service was over the top. My comment to the spa was that the masseuse \"melted me.\"

Finally, we required the services of the Conciergeries several times and always felt confident about the information we received and how they went out of their way to ensure our comfort. All of the staff is amazing, they are what makes the place work, and we hope the Intercontinental Presidente recognizes that.

Beautiful property. We upgraded from a king ocean view to a king reef view for $90 per night. Total waste of $450. View is no different. The food and drinks are great but also very expensive. This is NOT an all inclusive so my wife and I added another $2300 to our 5 day stay.

We went with friends and many of us returned with hundreds of bites. This is not an exaggeration - hundreds. Mine were so bad on my ankles, legs, hips, back, arms, shoulders, and neck that I went to urgent care after 2 days of itching that would not stop. Nurse practitioner said it was bed bugs. That's what I thought too but to be fair, there's no definitive test. Could also be fleas, sand fleas, sand lice, and other fun options. Regardless of what it was, I think bed bugs, its is a really nasty way to end a trip. It has been a full week now and these things have not cleared up after a steroid shot, steroid cream, steroid pills, a tube and a half of topical Benadryl, literally every 2 hours to help stop the itching.

We received 3 WhatsApp messages form the hotel while we were on property informing us they are doing \"routine fumigation\" around the property. They are definitely aware of the problem but you won't get them to admit it. Shady.

Too bad, cool little spot if you want to look past a week of misery for going there.

This is my second time at this hotel and it’s officially my favorite in Cozumel! Epic tropical landscaping lead you to a very modern hotel with a very welcoming staff ! Rooms are impeccably clean, large and recently remodeled! The breakfast buffet has been improved since last and was totally worth it! Awesome is right offshore of the beach ! This was our second time at the Presidente, and it was even better this time around!
We come during the rainy season ON PURPOSE to keep the crowds at bay.
The property has changed a bit with the addition of the new spa building (4 years ago)- nicely appointed, with 3 plunge pools hot/normal/cold in a quiet section of the property. While I was relaxing by the pools listening to the rain and the birds, it sounded exactly like one of those soundtracks that you hear on a meditation app, except this was real!
For those who haven't been to the property, everything is close together with coral rock in between. You won't have to walk far to get to any place on the property and with the coral rock pavement you wont have to worry about slipping even in the rain! I also have arthritis and they use ramps extensively which make a nice alternative to stairs- if you hate stairs, this is your place!

Scuba shop was fantastic and had a couple of days of nice diving, but you can tell the cruise ships are causing reef degradation. Service was fantastic and I felt well cared for. Bed lovely. Heavenly scent in the room. My one criticism is the food and drinks. There are four restaurants and I tried them all. I’m not an overly picky person I don’t think, but I really struggled at all of them. Somehow even the breakfast buffet was super bland and even fruit juice and coffee tasted very watered down. Everything was over fried and burned tasting. The seafood was the best but honestly fried when it could have been grilled a lot of the time. The cochinita pibil was the best dish.
