The staff was excellent, very focused on customer service. The “resort” wasn’t exactly as it was described a lot smaller and more like a hotel however the trip was relaxing. I wouldn’t compliment the food, it was rather on the cheap side and seemed like it was a lot of frozen food rather than made to order. The friendly nature of the people and the cleanliness made up for a lot. However I would not be a return customer

I recently stayed at the Cozunel Palace Hotel and unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. The room cleanliness was subpar; I found hairs on the towels, floor, and sheets, which was quite disappointing.

Additionally, the staff at the kids' club was not welcoming or professional. They made inappropriate comments to the parents of children, suggesting that they need to educate their kids better when addressing typical child behavior. This attitude was completely out of line.

Furthermore, the hotel itself felt outdated and in need of renovation. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this hotel based on my experience

The resort itself was first class, all of the staff was amazing, super friendly, clean, and professional. The food was absolutely amazing everywhere we went and was definitely not a disappointment for an all-inclusive resort. The rooms were very nice very clean and accommodating. Wish there was a little more nighttime entertainment or things to do especially on a cloudy or rainy day. We stayed for six nights and had an amazing time. ALAN was our favorite guy there who was so friendly and helpful and brought us drinks faster than we could drink them. But everyone there was just as kind and courteous. Would definitely return here. Only downside was there was no beach, but we knew that upfront.

Property was great; service impeccable. We booked a honeymoon suite that was wonderful. HOWEVER, watch out for the \"Vacation Property Specialists.\" I repeatedly told one \"specialist\" NO however he kept hounding me. Quite simply, from where I come from - no means no. Then after that, the \"specialist\" kept giving me the skunk eye when I past by the area. Like really Cozumel Palace? I also observed another couple being \"ambushed\" and she shifted from English to Spanish in the event that \"specialist\" didn't understand. She still felt harassed as I spoke to her about her experience. Upon checking out, another \"specialist\" flagged me for a coupon discount if I visit again, which I paid $ 299 US for but I have yet so see the email now that I am home. We will stay at this property again however, I will escalate to management if I am harassed again. Not cool Cozumel Palace, not cool.

We like smaller resorts. There is no beach, but you can go swimming off the dock which we did every day. We snorkeled off the dock and saw quite a few fish. The pool is well kept with plenty of loungers. The food was decent and the staff is incredible. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Everything about our stay was amazing! I wanted to mention a few staff members that stood out and helped make this trip even more memorable.

Julio who sat us down our first day and got us set up with any information we needed during that time.

Naomi and Jairo who walk around the pool area to make sure guests are okay and seeing if anything is needed.

Fernando and Charlie from the entertainment staff who lead activities including our favorite, water volleyball.

Alexander the waiter was very attentive and personable.

Martha the hostess at Flamingo’s always had a smile on her face and made us feel so welcomed.

And lastly, Miguel and Harry who served coffee and cleaned up during breakfast.

I want to acknowledge all of their hard work and thank them for helping make our trip even more special.

Food was great, accommodation was great. 10 out of 10 and will definitely be back in the future.

This was our 7th stay here. 2 years ago we kinda thought it was getting outdated but we were delighted with this stay to see everything prefect and fully remodeled! Even better than before! Very clean and very nice again! Best resort in Cozumel and we’ve seen them all! Only 1 negative is the staff trying to sell you packages and time share stuff. Very annoying as they try to hit you up everyday so just walk away from them fast or they will try to steal your vacation time with many words.
The hotel has a great area to snorkel right off the deck and the water is perfect! If you need a sandy beach you can catch a quick can ride down but the water snorkel area at this resort is the best! Staff provided sweet anniversary and birthday surprise! There is a nice gym inside, a little gift shop with all your little needs, plenty of food options that are all good, full size lotion, shampoo and conditioner, nice robes and house shoes you name it it’s there!

The balcony views are beautiful. Our room overlooked the dock area and was very quiet. My only concern about the entire property was the tile. The wet tile was very slick, and 100% of the indoor and outdoor floor was tile. Be careful.

I came for Iron 70.3 in September, didn’t make a lot of pre-research on the hotel but it’s absolute one of the best Customer Service and Staff I’ve ever experienced in my life. We traveled to Mexico about three times a year and this was one of the number one vacations. We’ve had there the staff was absolutely incredible.

I’m going back for sure next year to race again and I signed up for the rewards program

Everything was great about this hotel. It is about 5 min cab drive from the ferry. Very clean, the stuff is amazing, fast and very polite, entertainment is good. We found that food is very tasty. Lots of healthy options! The buffer is inside ( I was happy about it). The coffee shop is good. The drinks are not bad as well. There is no beach, but it is a waterfront and you can swim using a ladder. The water was beautiful and we snorkeled every day. The AC in the room worked well. I used the gym for the first day. It is a nice facility. It was closed for the remaining of my trip( renovation?), but I was able to run outside early in the morning . Felt like a very safe island. Cozumel is beautiful and we have zero complaints about this resort. Thank you

Cozumel Palace is visually nice. The staff (up front) are all trying to get over on people. Once you walk in they greet you, hand you a drink and carnation then as soon as you get to check in they tell you about how you are in a category and that you can upgrade for only $95 (they fail to say a night). We got into our room (that was booked online a month in advance) and it’s the very first room on the ground floor. The room didn’t look very clean and it just so happened to be a handy capable room. This would have been great if we needed it but that was not the case. When we went to the front to ask for a different room, they were very rude and said they had nothing for us. We were not happy and let them know we did not want to stay in that room. All of a sudden they had something, but wanted us to pay an additional $380 to move up.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this resort was ! The staff was the shining stars from the moment we got there we were catered to from the room cleaners to pool concierge to waiters and waitresses . Place was not a big party place but was great with evening entertainment. All restaurants were great and swimming in front of place was crystal clear . We never left resort . It was the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in a while . We have been to Cozumel now, five times and it was by far our favorite! Aminda was our cleaner she was outstanding and Evan and Victoria in Italian restaurant were great . Giant pepper grinder was hilarious I thought I was being pranked!

It took us a day or two to adjust to how compact this resort is, but in the end we loved it and enjoyed it a lot. The coffee shop in the lobby is amazing—real coffees made to order, crepes made to order, and amazing pastries and macaroons, etc. all included. The restaurants were good but not “stellar”. We liked the Italian one the best. Mono the Asian one was the weakest for us—everything looked pretty but it was like the chefs made it look like the pictures but had never actually tasted the real thing—which is understandable because it’s in Mexico of course!

The service was outstanding and prompt, waiters steady at the poll, quick room service, nice turn down service. Our favorite employees were Paola, a waitress at Flamingo’s who also recognized us at room service, and Ivan the head waiter of the Italian restaurant, who was warm friendly and took great pride in “his” restaurant. Every company should want employees like these.

The other big learning is the rhythm at the pool. Mornings are quiet and laid back, not crowded even though lots of people reserve their chairs. (I don’t know why hotels all over the world continue to just allow this—it really sucks.) in the afternoons, the pool area gets more active and crowded, with music and DJ’s and activities. Morning volleyball is really fun and usually has 6-10 people playing. Afternoon volleyball will seriously have 40 people playing. It’s a wonder the ball ever touches the water! It is a little cheesy but a fun activity.

Their VIP is confusing VS misleading. We were adamant in refusing any sales speech to join their \"ownership\" program and were left alone. Consider this is a review of an All Inclusive hotel from a chain that is known for its top level, so you can expect more.
Cozumel is a slow-pace little town. Nice for what it means. This hotel is in between the \"activity\" side and the \"calm\" side, so it's nothing too special on any sense. Facilities are old and with low maintenance.
Best part of the hotel is the staff. Great people with great attitude, friendly and with great service. I only had a mishap with one of the pool-cleaning guys who got upset because I moved a vacuum hose from the middle of the pool, but it was there at 8:00am when pools are supposed to start service at 7:00am
Not returning. Would rather go to a higher end hotel or to a boutique, more remote and calm place.
Btw, NOT cool at all that they let people \"reserve\" cots. Many had towels and bags with no one around. They seem to do this while they go have breakfast and then return to use the cots all day long with the same abusive system. Should be forbidden!

We traveled on a Monday-Friday to this beautiful property. It has been recently renovated, and the spaces are lovely. The lobby area is filled with comfortable seating and a full bar. There is a full-service coffee bar with lattes, pastries, panini's & ice cream. The variety of restaurants is also great. Italian, Mexican, Steakhouse & a large buffet. We had a room with double beds, huge hydro tub for 2, large bathroom and balcony with chairs and hammock. Every member of the staff was courteous, respectful and happy. We received a VIP upgrade which gave up credits for the spa. The spa treatments were amazing. We will go back to this resort and definitely recommend to our friends and family

This place was amazing! We were there for the Super Bowl and they really did it up and it was so fun! The food is so good and we especially liked all the staff. They were so cordial and accommodating and would want to help you in anyway they could. We will definitely go back and if there was a higher star than a five, I would give it to this resort! We've been to many Sandals resorts and this is right up there, but less expensive!

We absolutely loved it. We have stayed at a variety of all-inclusive resorts in Mexico at Cozumel and in the Cancun area, and this was by far out favorite. The staff was delightful, remembering us from our last stay a year ago and always taking special care to ensure our stay was wonderful. Shout out to Allen, who always went above and beyond for my family.

The food is the best food we have had at any all-inclusive, and the Japanese and Mexican restaurants rival pretty much any restaurant we've been to.

The place was plenty spacious, although we went in February so maybe that would be different during peak season.

The ferry pier is a 20 minute walk away if you want to go visit the mainland at Playa del Carmen, and there is a supermarket about 5 minutes away to get any extra sunscreen or whatever you forgot for cheap.

The food and staff were amazing. Rooms were big, clean and comfortable. We loved our stay. Our only complaint is the port hole window from the bathroom to the sleeping quarters. When the light got turned on in the middle of the night it looked like the sun came up! So bright!!
