This European Plan hotel offers 140 rooms and suites on the north side of Cozumel, just 2. 5 km from San Miguel and 4 km from Cozumel International Airport.

Guests can explore the vibrant reef and swim in the crystal-clear waters just steps from the hotel pier. Enjoy panoramic Caribbean Sea and jungle views, stunning sunsets, passing cruise ships, and even dolphin sightings.

The hotel have the Dive Shop Island Divers with dedicated areas and unique facilities for diving enthusiasts. The Amaryllis Restaurant delights guests with its international & Mexican cuisine.

Please note: Check-in is until 10:00 pm. Cash payments are not accepted; a credit card is required upon arrival for incidentals.

The final bill will be emailed, and the card will be automatically charged. The fitness center is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm (maximum 4 people).

Beach towels are available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. In-room coffee incurs an extra charge.

The name said it is a resort. It was anything but a resort. As soon as we were checking in the front desk clerk, Raul, treated us as if we were inconveniencing him whenever we asked questions. A perfect example was when we called and asked for an iron. Raul stated he contact housekeeping and would call us back. We waited for ten minutes and received no reply. We went down to the front desk and asked him directly. His reply, \" Give me 20 minutes and I'll get back with you.\" I am a former employee of The Del Mar Hilton and attitude like Raul's and response to a guest like that would be grounds for immediate dismissal. We were told we could only have one 32 oz bottle of water (between 2 people) per day! The furniture in the room was falling apart. If we wanted anything extra, like a bowl of fruit for breakfast there is an extra charge. Our experience felt like we were being nickel and dime for every little thing. I have traveled the world several times and have never been in a hotel / resort that didn't have at least a coffee maker set up and a mini fridge. If I could submit photos of the condition of the room I definitely would.

The hotel is very outdated.
The photos do not reflect reality.
The room had a bad smell, was old, small, and unpleasant.
The staff is nice, but this is a very, very basic hotel.
Even though we had already paid and the reservation was non-refundable, we decided to leave the hotel and pay again for another hotel because it was impossible to stay there.

Been staying here for 20 years, and unfortunately this will be my last. We had multiple issues during our stay that were maintenance related ... namely, an AC unit that wouldn't cool, and then the same unit that wouldn't shut off. Condition of furniture is degraded. Issues with the safe. Shower that is an odd design where the water pools up (not clogged, but just the design). TV remote randomly stops working (and terrible picture, not watchable). AC controls randomly stop working. Screen door pops right off when using. Internet access stops working randomly (had to sign in probably > 100 times). The staff is A+, and the facility location on the water is A+. You can snorkel and see a variety of tropical fish, rays, and much more right in front of the hotel. Very clean. But it just needs updating, period. If this hotel does a remodel and gets the rooms updated with new AC, new showers, new Wifi, new TVs, ,etc., then I absolutely would not hesitate to return. But until then, unfortunately I will be staying at other properties that are similar in price but have much nicer rooms. I truly wish the hotel staff the best of luck and hope the owners can invest and turn this ship around.

I go to Cozumel 2-3 times per year and usually book through Expedia at various places. Totally befuddled by this one though.

Expedia sells you breakfast at a dive resort where the restaurant opens at 8:00 and the dive boat leaves at 8:00. No bueno… Also, the restaurant closes at 4:00 in the afternoon so you need a taxi for dinner. They will only give you one bottle of drinking water. Front desk told me to take a taxi to the store if I wanted more. ???

We had a wonderful stay at the Coral Princess! The entire staff was warm, friendly, and very accommodating. Although the resort was undergoing some construction during our visit, everything was still clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The water was absolutely perfect—crystal clear and ideal for snorkeling right off the dock. We also went scuba diving with Island Divers Cozumel, located conveniently on-site, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our dive instructor, Joel, was phenomenal—an excellent teacher who made us feel confident and safe the entire time.

We can’t wait to book our next adventure and would absolutely stay here again!

Everything about Coral Princess Hotel and Dive Resort is excellent. Just to name a few, the entire staff couldn't be any better, the food is excellent, our room was wonderful, the pool area and the views were beautiful. We'll definitely be back to enjoy it all again.

The property was very clean and quiet. Our room cleaner was amazing - she was excellent. I feel that the restaurant options could be beefed up and have something opened later - a bar with maybe bar food. Also have a souvenir shop to buy some trinkets or more of a variety of snacks. This place is great for adults, but not kid friendly. We will be back.

My 10-day stay at this resort was amazing. The property was well maintained. They provided daily bottled water at no additional charge. The property sits right on the water with amazing views. The staff were friendly and helpful the entire time. I interacted with no less than 12 different staff members and they were all great! The only reason I omitted 1 star from service is that the resort does not offer dinner. A few days there was heavy downpour and high winds making a trip to town unadvisable, the ability to have dinner on site those days would've been great. Otherwise the food was top-tier. Just a short 30-minute walk to town with clean, safe, and scenic walk ways. Highly recommend staying at this resort!

The best snorkeling area in Cozumel was in front of Coral Princess. We enjoyed the view and the convenience of being able to walk to downtown. The resort is a beautiful place to stay

The property was in need of many repairs and the restaurant has no set hours. Posted online and in person are different times. It wasn't open at all the afternoon we landed, and we were directed to hotel b unique, next door. That hotel, both restaurants, staffing, amenities, and scenery blew us away, and that's where we'll be staying in our next visit. We did find the hot tub and the rooftop area, and it was out of commission. I wish i could post the pictures. The time have no deadbolt for the doors, and there's a 3\" gap between the door and the floor. There's a 6\" g drop from the room to the balcony. Everyone was really nice, though. Paying the spa took repeated transactions, as they \"forgot\" to include everything in the initial transaction.

Did Not like that the ENTIRE HOTEL WAS OVER GUN WITH EIGHT TO TEN - 3-4 yr old TODDLERS! That were Ignored by their Own Mothers and Left TO COMPLETELY TAKE OVER THE ENTIRE POOL EVERY DAY FROM 8am THRU 3pm! TOTALLY DISRUPTING ANY PEACE AND QUIET BY THEIR CONTINUAL YELLING AND HIGH PITCHED SCREAMING AND RUNNING IN AND OUT OF THE POOL AND NOT ONE HOTEL STAFF MEMBER EVER CAME TO REPREMAND THEM TO STOP SCREAMING AND YELLING AND RUNNING AROUND THE POOL DISRUPTING THE ENTIRE ATMOSPHERE FOR THE ADULT GUESTS!

The food venue has very limited opening times, the height of the railing on rooms facing the road it’s not up to international standard. They are too short and anybody go on the balcony there with a child or someone should be very careful. Also if the rings, the tires are extremely slippery, it’s also a huge threshold without any warning sign. I live there myself and hurt myself.

Really enjoyed the stay, my only issue was, and it maybe because it was end of season, the bar restaurant did not open and the pool bar restaurant closed by 5pm meaning heading elsewhere for dinner every night.

Very old property that needed everything updated including but not limited to towels to to linens to A/C units. We were in two different rooms over 7 days. Just far enough away from the town centre to cost 7-10 USD each way. No restaurant in the area. Breakfast was “not good” and the cost for drinks (bottle of water 7.00 USD). Would never return! I told them at the front desk and the staff simple does not care. They are robots and don’t have a mind to make a simple decision such as turn down the pool music especially when it was just us at the pool.

Great hotel! Ask for a fridge in your room they have a few extras they can put in there if they’re free. There is a coffee machine in room but you have to buy the coffee. It’s about a 20-30min easy walk to town or $100MXN taxi ride. The snorkeling off hotel is pretty good. The pool and beach area is lovely, lots of loungers and umbrellas. The dive shop on property is the best!! Great place to stay if you like quiet.

No dinner restaurant on property and basic for the price. AC smelled moldy. Was a slightly dated hotel but just not worth the price in my opinion. Also a lot of banging at all hours which we could never identify. Sounded like large doors being slammed. Happened every night and morning. Food for breakfast and poolside was not very good.

Directly in front of the turquoise ocean. You can listen to the ocean waves all night. Very clean hotel. Staff is very helpful and nice. Don’t rent a motorbike there just have it delivered cause it’s quite expensive. The hotel is not near restaurants so you have limited dining options around. You’ll need a way to get around. The steak nachos at the restaurant were amazing.

Dining room was not open evenings. Very inconvenient. There was no beach to walk on. Too rocky & caters to divers rather than bathers. False photos of a beach were shown instead of a real one. Room was not clean under beds. Microwave & fridge should be provided in all rooms. There are always left overs that shouldn't be eaten cold or stale. Drinks need to be cold. Restaurant had short hours. Should be open till 11. Bar wasn't open all week. Should be open all week. People enjoy drinking & dancing. When bar was open it should not close at 10 but stay open till 2 at least. Front desk should never close. Most are open 24 hours for emergency. 10 is ridiculous time. Hard to get a taxi many times. There is no Uber which causes less availabilities. Front desk should have more service for exchanging money. It is not always possible to get to a bank. Spa staff doesn't speak much English & should. Extremely expensive services as well. Some security didn’t speak any English & at night it was inconvenient.

Beautiful beachfront with great snorkeling, pool, great people. Take a taxi there from the boat or airport. Restaurant open for breakfast and lunch til 5 great food. Drinks around the swim up pool. Our room did not have a microwave or refrigerator but did have a great ocean view and a/c. Will definitely stay again for longer.

My room was perfect. Very clean and the view was incredible. I'm new to diving, and Island Divers took such good care of me. The area just out front was perfect for snorkeling, as well. I was there solo and never felt lonely or unsafe, even walking in town at 1:15 am!!

The rooms need to be updated. Once you’re inside your room it doesn’t feel like a four star hotel anymore. There is only one restaurant near by. There are several hotels in the area but there are no restaurants, coffee shops, bars, convenient stores, etc. This location is isolated and you need a taxi or a rental car for everything.

The place is very nice, with a lot of fish right in front of it for a quick dive. The only thing is the location away from any store and the lack of soptions to buy anything in the hotel after 5pm. A vending machine would be appreciated!

I think the reviews here are unfair. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The hotel is reasonably priced and as such one shouldn’t expect an all inclusive resort experience. The dive staff are amazing, and led spectacular dives.
