Terrible experience – avoid at all costs

The hotel I originally booked was closed, and I was redirected to another hotel from the same chain, “Cabia,” which was in absolutely awful condition. The pool was disgusting, the room was extremely dirty, the service was poor, the sheets were stained, and the entire hotel was in terrible shape. This was by far the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. It should not be listed on Experian’s site or receive any kind of recommendation. Completely unacceptable.

Do not stay here, dirty, unclean, horrible smell in rooms. Incredibly noisy. Staff did not speak much English. Remotes in weird bags. Photos do not show real place. Not sure why expedia has them on their site. Did not get free bottle of wine per vip member. Again do not stay here. Stay at yr own risk!!!!!! No spa and roof top pool was discussing.

Family of five booked a family suite and from the pix looked like it had seperate rooms but when arriving we discovered the washroom, kids room and adult rooms were all in one. the pool is 3 feet deep and filthy. the chairs are all filthy dirty and broken. pool on the roof was two feet deep and roof looked like it had been abandoned. honestly the hotel should be torn down but if u need a place to crash next to 5th street itll do if u dont mind the hotel has zero amenities.

The room: no much water, the smell coming out of the drain was disgusting, really old broken with holes towels and they didn’t want to change until the next day of cleaning. Pool: dirty, dangerous pieces coming out. I requested to have other towels, another room because of the smell, and they didn’t do anything. They said “that’s what you paid for, there is no more rooms” however the hotel was kinda empty and many empty rooms (windows open and you can see it)….

This hotel was good. I really liked it. When I read the other reviews I was alittle concerned but once we got there it was not as bad as the reviews were. It had minor things, but nothing that would ruin your trip or stay. The location was nice too. Unless your someone who likes quite vibes than this place is not for you. I really enjoyed my stay here. The beach was super close as well. Only thing was that they did not have a fridge. Highly recommended place to stay

I didn’t like that in the family room, the hot tub is out of service and it keeps getting advertised like that. Which I don’t see it fair cause your paying for it and getting stoked to have it, until they tell you it has been out of service for a long time. I feel like I got scammed.

Everything was very outdated, poor lighting in the bathroom, it was not how it was shown on the pictures and the tv didn't work. The lobby was super hot and they didn't even have coffee like it was advertised. You could hear the music from all the clubs, so if you're looking for a nice place to relax that's not the place to stay.

The name and pictures were misleading. There is no spa at the hotel. This place is great for singles, couples or general party fans since this hotel is right on the strip and opposite coco bongo. It is also partially on top of a club. The music from the outside penetrates through most of the rooms until 3am every night. There are no internal windows is most of the rooms. There is also no beach area on the nearby beach in relation to this hotel. There was also maintenance needed in the rooms we saw including fixing loose electrical plugs or wiring to the wall.

However the main bed was quite comfortable, the staff were friendly and provided help and assistance to make the stay more comfortable including moving us to a room further away from the party.

The receptionist was very rude and had a serious attitude. We did not recant upgrade benefits, the hotel must be removed from any kind of recommendation, the manager is never available, complete mismanagement. No basic amenities, no refrigeration, microwave, no coffee maker. This place is ridiculously expensive and cannot provide basic amenities

Hotel lacks basic amenities like a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot. They did upgrade to a family suite but no amenities. When asked to speak with the manager, staff said Manager is not available. Seems the management is very poor and the manager wants to always run away from issues rather than communicating and solving. We had 2 bookings for the same room, the lady at the check in confirmed we could stay for 2 days, but then the second day another lady at work said we could not stay and moved us into a standard room Serious lack of communication and a total mismanaged hotel! Look at other options as this place is not worth for the exorbitant prices they charge and don’t even provide basic amenities

Good for partiers

Condition of hotel is decent, sometimes water pressure and heat goes in and out when taking a shower, also blasting music every night from the club right in front of the hotel. Can hear it pretty loud and clear as well as the DJ yelling on the mic. Good place for party group of travelers to be hearing the loud music all the time and in close proximity to the scene. Also very close walk to the beach. Water in the courtyard pool was ice cold.

Location was great, employees are as well. Awesome AC, large area. That's about it

No privacy in rooms. Shower floor plan: the shower area has many flaws ( maybe this hotel was designed for escort services and rebranded for regular guests)

The showers are positioned to 1. Not have a door/ separate area from bedroom. So if you are staying with a family member or coworker, etc you're giving them a show
2. The showers face the hallway and when other guests are walking to their rooms they can SEE YOU through the window of the room. As mentioned, if designed for escorts in the past then it would make sense. Poor engineering
3. No warm water. Not even at night. I was ready to move on to our next hotel for some lukewarm water

Wecould sleep through noise, if you are a light sleeper, again, find another place. Music and party crowd till 3am /4am
Could practically hear the actual conversations from how close the crowd sounds. We partied so by the time we got back we knocked out

No microwave no fridge no bottle opener for the free welcome wine no cups for the welcome wine.

AWFUL!!! Do not waste your money here!!! NO REFRIGERATOR NO PHONE CALLS OUT NO HELP TO YOUR ROOM NO AMENITIES WHATSOEVER NOT EVEN A BOTTLE OF WATER TO BRUSH YOUR TEETH! NO ICE AT ALL!! TOWELS AND LINENS ARE DINGY & SEMI DIRTY AND ITS OBVIOUS THEY USE THE CHEAPEST SOAP AND THE BARE MINIMUM TO CLEAN THEM! $10 - $15 deposit for a beach towel which are also dingy and lastly both pools were not well kept and neither are deep enough to actually swim in it!! I had the unfortunate misadventure of staying at this hotel recently. The floor was filthy and oily. Dust everywhere. The \"closets\" hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner for some time. I've stayed in my fair share of hotels, but I've never encountered anything quite like this. The \"family room\" was on top of a night club and we could hear everything. NO SLEEP for us that night! After complaining to the front desk, next day I was assigned another family room, with no windows where the smell was too strong for me and my family. We ended up leaving the hotel despite of having booked for 5 nights.

THIS HOTEL SHOULD NOT BE LISTED AS A FAMILY HOTEL!

Pools had low water and were dirty, showers water pressure kept turning off, no ice machines, no coffee makers, hotel room 307 floors always felt dirty and oily. Literally a nightmare. The nightclub next door was so loud that it vibrated the whole hotel and there was absolutely no chance of sleep between 9pm and 3am every day of the week.
There was no coffee pot in the room (as shown in all their advertising).There were no patio umbrellas. The pools were dirty and cold. The loungers were also dirty and broken.
The beds and pillows were the best feature. Nice quiet air conditioning. Hot water and good pressure for showers.

I wouldn’t recommend to anyone with small children. I didn’t realize it was right on the strip by coco bongo and all the clubs, so u can hear all the music every night till 3 in the morning. It was hard to sleep. Also a lot of people partying right outside.
I had a very neat and spacious room with two showers and two sinks.
It’s also very dark, not enough lighting to do your makeup.

The pictures are much nicer than the actual property and rooms. The family suite we got was quite small for 7 people. The shower was not separate from the main living space and could be seen in the mirror. Although the shower glass door was frosted, if you got undressed to shower, other people in the room could see you. It was not a good fit for us as we were with my baby, parents, and brother. Also, the room smelled strange, and there were hairs around the room. It did not feel clean. The faucets were rusty and the bathroom sink was worn and lifted from water damage. I suppose you get what you pay for. It is very close to anything and everything you would need. Though that means it is quite loud at night. There are two pools which seemed nice. Additionally, they did let us check out early and only charged us one night as penalty. I would not stay here again though.

Lets start with the quality of the water , i have stayed in many places in playa , the water is not the greatest anywhere in mexico really but in this Hotel smells like rotten eggs . I could not even brush my teeth with it. Second they had a power outage for 7 hours, no water or electricity for 7 hours. We could not even go to the hotel for that time, they offered us a free night and then tried charging us for the night anyway. When i tried to talk to them about what they offered they acted like i was begging for a free night and did not want to address that when they had no electricity we basically did not have a hotel to stay at. DO NOT STAY HERE. They are many other places with better amenities and way better all over Playa .

The area is great, the various receptioniat were helpful with things to do. What was surprising even in a suite, constant used features needed to be fixed. Bathroom seat lose and kept coming off, bathroom door handle also lose. We could have got stuck in there that's how bad the handle was.

I enjoyed a week vacation at Cancun with my daughter. The hotel stay at was as advertised. Clean rooms, support provided when requested and people were friendly. Added breakfast buffet were really good. There was some sound coming from Coco Bongo (I didn’t went for the show, but see the huge line specially on Friday night), not so disturbing though, I would recommend the stay at In Fashion Hotel & Spa.

I’m going to give the staff an excellent score, but there was one guy that gave me a little trouble at the front desk. My group arrived later than I did and we had to pay an additional amount per person staying in the room which I think if Expedia or the hotel info on line would have said that up front it would have not been a problem. But that did have us have to have a difficult conversation with the staff member. Ultimately having to get another room.
Other that that this place is a hidden Gem, it’s super inexpensive to stay and it’s in walking distance from every thing that you want to do. This place is perfect.

Everything is walking distance. I was just 10 min away from the club and one min from coco bongo. I do recommend to take your glade they clean the room real good so the smell of Clorox stay. Luckily bath & bodywork around the corner. Room only use to sleep we were always touring around.

There was a very bad smell in the room (sewage or something like rotten eggs). When we complained they came with a bottle of detergent to remove the smell! This did not help! I think they knew about it as they had the bottle handy! We could not sleep at all. Every two hours we would open the door to have some fresh air coming. We woke up in the morning with red eyes and stuffed nose!!! I do not recommend it!!!

I like that the hotel was a few feet away from the 5th Avenue. I love the the staff very helpful and courteous. I was disappointed with the bed at our room. It was so hard I hated it!! I would wake up everyday tired and my side hurting. The tv in our room did not work it had not volume and the cable did not work. I would not recommend staying there or atleast I would not.
