Upstairs from luxury shops in a designer showroom district, very close to Piazza San Marco, the location is unbeatable. The staff is warmly friendly and the decor is imaginative and has a vibe of traditional Venice. It is only fair to warn that it is not a full service hotel—the hosts are only there a few hours every day (in the morning) and there is no breakfast. You must take up your luggage yourself up multiple flights of stairs. I have stayed here twice and enjoyed each stay at this hidden gem, but as I get older, I probably won’t come a third time.

Very clean, easy check-in, and they’re very flexible. Highly recommended. Only downside is it’s a bit hard to find but that is nice for privacy. Doors aren’t very soundproof so just be aware of that.

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from Piazza San Marco. There isn't really any sign outside but you get directions with which it's ok to find. The owner very nice and helpful, though the reception hours are currently rather limited (9am to 3pm or so) - I was able to handle everything within that timeframe.
The room was better than I expected, the bathroom is modern and well equipped. The furniture is rather old - or traditional, depending on how you look at it, and there are plenty of pictures hanging everywhere which, again depending on your view, are artsy or creepy..
There was a constant noise from some sort of generator somewhere near so I needed eaeplugs even if the location looks fairly quiet.
Overall, this was a very well located, nice place and for me was a good value when visiting Venice.

Great Location at a Very Affordable Price!
This was our second stay. You cannot beat the location--an easy walk to S. Marco and the Fenice Theatro. We were in a just renovated room with a window view of the street and the many shops. The hotel managers were very accommodating and friendly. The A/C worked fine, and there was plenty of room to store our stuff. The hotel manager made a couple of great restaurant recommendations. Ca'Pedrocchi is a wonderful place to stay while exploring one of the eight wonders of the modern world!

Great location, but outdated. The AC was not strong enough, it was noisy during the day and the bed could have been better. The owner was very helpful and the key allowed us to come and go anytime as it also opened the outside door.

Unlike other reviews, the stairs are plenty wide enough! If walking up flights of stairs if physically difficult for you, then of course this place may not be for you. Remember that you are staying in an old building so you will have flights of stairs. The AC worked just fine and kept us plenty cool. I get hot very easily too. We also didn't fine anyone to be rude. The best part of this place is that it is just minutes away from Piazza San Marco! It is down a little side street that keeps the place quiet. Once you find the street, which was pretty clear by their directions, just look for the address number that is on your reservation and not the hotel's name. So even if there are some stairs, or you may need to carry your own bag, or the room is a little hot...the price can't be beat with this location! We would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel was in a great location, very close to St Mark's square but the entire hotel and our room smelled like mould. We also had a problem with mosquitoes getting in, even whilst the windows were closed! For how much we paid, we weren't very impressed with the conditions.

Print the map that the hotel sends! Walk along the pier to the end and you will get within 100 steps of the hotel. It is in the alley between Gucci and next to Armani. Lots of towels and hot water but 5 flights of stairs with no elevator! Yikes.

Good little hotel
We stayed here from August 6-8, 2016. The hotel is off a main strip full of high end stores (Gucci, Chanel, etc) however, it doesn't have a big sign Ca' Pedrocchi to let u know you have arrived. It's just a little door in a small alley way. Once inside (and with luggage) there is no elevator. Our room was in the 4th floor. Which isn't too bad going up and down if you're young, healthy and aren't carrying heavy luggage with you every time. Once inside the room, it was more spacious than other single European rooms I've seen. The bathroom was clean and very nice! New towels and cleaning service each day. Hair dryer included. And refrigerator with two complimentary bottles of water for you to take At no extra charge...every day! my husband's biggest complaint was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling enough. He was hot every time. And he barely sweats! This hotel is only a 3-5 minute walk from St marks basilica/square. The water bus stop we took for this hotel was \"San Marco Vallarazzi\"(something like that. I know it starts with a V).

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room is small but more than adequate. The airconditioning works very well. There is free coffee and tea in the room. The location can't be beat- just a few minutes walk from San Marco square. Very easy to find and accessible to vaporetto. The management is amazing- very friendly and helpful. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was perfectly adequate for our stay. The shower did not maintain a steady temperature and the tub was clogged but for the price it was fine. Just know you will have to walk up many flights of stairs to get to your room. Also the AC on the top floor did not keep the room very cool. The location was great!

The host is great. The important thing to know is that this is not a hotel. It's not your typical front desk, with hotel type service. The rooms are very small, but are decent enough. The guys who run it are fantastic people...they saved the experience. As long as you know what you are walking into, it's great.

Older accommodation right in the Venice Canals district. Lovely to step out the door and be a quick walk away from it all.. Grand Canal, Doges Palace & Bridge of Sighs, Rialto Bridge, St Marks Basillica, Piazza San Marco. Museums, music and history all there, tremendous. All the upmarket shops and unlimited shopping. Older establishment, dated decor but fitted us perfectly. Very helpful and friendly english speaking accommodation hosts made us feel very welcome and valued. Value for money.

It is a guest house. No front reception desk. But the manager is on site 9-5. Contact manager via email to let him know approximately what time you will arrive. Manager very friendly and will do his best to ensure you had a good stay. Other local hotel where I stayed the staff where not friendly and were rude to guests therefore this manager gets a ten out of ten for his friendliness and good attitude. The room is basic but has a lovely coffee machine. For us that's all we needed as we were out touring mostly. The heating worked very well. No noise disturbance as hotel entrance on a side street. Located very near to San Marco. Closest stop for waterbus to and from airport is Santa Maria Giglio. No steps to climb or bridge to cross to get to hotel so easy with luggage. Within 5 minutes walking distance from this waterbus stop.

We travel for several days and needed to be in the heart of Venice. We always look for a good place to stay and sleep at our trips as we spend the entire time outside. Ca' Pedrocchi has recently changed management and is undergoing room renovation that gives artistic and individual touch to each room. The building is some 200+ years old as anything else around it.
This is a place to easily explore St. Marko vicinity, museums, good local food (if you know where locals go), the neighboring islands - water bus is less than 10 min away.
Our room overlooked the main street giving us a chance to feel we are there but at the same time windows system is perfectly insulating all noise from there.
Rooms were taken care of and cleaned regularly.
Price range is acceptable for the service you get.

More of a Pensione than hotel. Up between 3 and 5 flights of stairs and there is no lift but room was spacious with nice outlook.

Check-in is difficult but everything else is good.
First, this hotel is really hard to find as it's located in a really narrow alley off of a main road that you really need to pay attention to to notice it. Also, the hotel owners/managers don't really stay on site so checking-in was particularly difficult. I had to buzz the intercom for about ten minutes before anyone answered as the main door is locked (which is good for safety, at least!) and then wait for the manager (I assume) to come and let me in and take me to my room. The room itself though is clean and comfortable, the bathroom is really modern yet the bedroom area retains it's old venetian feel. The location is excellent as you can walk everywhere that's popular pretty quickly. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel. It's low-maintenance and comfortable, also really affordable for the location!

We enjoyed our stay at Ca' Pedrocchi Hotel very much. It was a little tricky finding the exact spot, but once we found the location, it seemed ideal getting to any location. The Alilaguna and local vaporettos, even gondolas were within a short walking distance, making our ability to navigate from one island to another very easy.
We also loved to open our two windows wide and experience the clean, fresh air, view any body walking down below (we were on the fourth floor) with a sweet view of San Marco's tower, very pleasing to the eye!

We were told the AC was on but it did not work. No staff on site teh came quicly if you call(less than 5 minutes)but it was strange to have no one there.

The hotel is somewhat disguised but was just off one of the main shopping streets and 2 minutes from St Mark's square. There are LOTS of stairs to get to the rooms (either 3 or 5 flights), but there was a good sized bed and the room was quite light. The location is the bonus - you are near vaporetto stops for the main lines you'll need and v short distance to St Mark's square and other sights. It was a little noisy in the evening - but Venice isn't silent, so there'll be noise anywhere I imagine.
We arrived a little early and our room was available. And on the last day, we were able to leave our luggage in the communal area until early evening as we had a late flight. This was very convenient.

This is a good affordable option if you have a very tight schedule, want to be really close to the main attractions and don't plan to spend a lot of time in your hotel. It looks a bit old, but one could also say is the charm of it (very old Venetian style). The room was clean and comfortable enough. Wifi was free. The staff was very helpful!

I hate to leave a negative review when the hotel manager was so pleasant and the accommodation was perfectly adequate, but our fourth floor room was crawling with bed bugs, and I feel it would be remiss not to let other travelers know about the possibility of infestation.

I know I should have not expected more, but I did. Hotel is in a great location, a little difficult to find.the person that greeted us was helpful. There was no real office. Room was small, but I expected it. What I didn't care for was the condition of the room especially the bathroom. I don't believe they vacuumed once,because I saw a tissue behind a table for the 4 nights we were there. Also the bathroom had mold on the ceiling in the shower. Shower stall was nasty. A little paint would have gone a long way. It just felt dirty. Could use a lot of fixing. Would not stay again

This hotel met our expectations, however was a bit difficult to find, given no signage or lobby. We arrived late at night, and crossing canals was difficult with luggage. Once arriving, the hotel management was friendly, and helped us with our luggage. There is no elevator. The location was outstanding, the room sufficient, and we would not hesitate to visit again.

Rooms were large and quite nice, bathroom was miniscule. It was nice to be in an alleyway, as it was nice and quiet. This is actually right in the middle of the high-end shopping district so the streets were fairly quiet anyways. Nice restaurants in the area. A three minute walk to St. Mark's square, so really the perfect location!

The hotel has a great location, but is small and need a really clean up, its ok to sleep in but you will want yo stay out all day. all the Rooms are in the 3rd or 4th floor with no elevator!!
The best thing about the hotel is one kid named Zajid or something like that who is really friendly and gave us great restaurants recomendations.
Always keep your stuff looked up since we got robbed our local currency ( was not much around 30euros If you convert it) and te staff did nothing about it.

Wir (zwei Erwachsene, zwei erwachsene Töchter) verbrachten zwischen Weihnachten und Silvester drei Tage in Venedig und hatten dafür zwei Doppelzimmer im Ca' Pedrocchi gebucht.
Die Anreise war unkompliziert, die Unterkunft ist nur ein paar Schritte von der Vaporetto-Station Giglio entfernt.
Check-In war freundlich und unkompliziert. Als wir ankamen, war die Rezeption besetzt, was aber bei weitem nicht immer der Fall ist. Für Ankünfte außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten wird eine unkomplizierte Self-Check-In-Methode zur Verfügung gestellt.
Die beiden Zimmer (zweites Geschoß, kein Lift) waren durchaus ok und relativ geräumig. Die Heizung ist ein Warmluftgebläse, das im Sommer wohl als Klimaanlage funktioniert. Es wurde erst am zweiten Tag richtig warm im Zimmer.
Die Badezimmer sind zweckmäßig und sauber. Der Duschkopf in Zimmer 33 sollte mal repariert werden (Dichtung kaputt).
Wir fragten die beiden Herren an der Rezeption nach Tipps für traditionelle \"Bacari\", und die Hinweise waren durchaus brauchbar!
Die Lage ein paar Schritte vom Markusplatz ist natürlich für Besichtigungen sehr günstig, auch jedes der anderen Sestieri ist mühelos zu Fuß erreichbar.

La ubicación es inmejorable, a tres minutos de la plaza de San Marcos, ubicado en la calle de las firmas de lujo.
