Great location, easily accessible and close to many tourist attractions, there was a problem with the air conditioning where it was blowing hot air which wasn't particularly helpful in an already hot room. Also there was a slight issue with what seemed like a never ending amount of mosquitos obviously this isn't the owners fault but it did make the experience slightly less enjoyable. The hotel provided many amenities including fresh towels and shampoo.

Solid Choice with Great Breakfast and Location

Overall, I had a positive experience at this hotel and would consider staying here again on my next visit to Venice.

The Highlights:
The complimentary breakfast was a wonderful perk, and the front desk staff were consistently helpful throughout our stay. We were given a top-floor room on the third floor, which turned out to be excellent. The blackout window coverings were particularly impressive—they completely blocked out light and helped us get great sleep. The room and bedding were clean, and the location is fantastic, with easy access to everything Venice has to offer.

Room for Improvement:
Communication before arrival could be better—the hotel didn't respond to my pre-trip message, and the location was a bit tricky to find initially. Some clearer directions would be helpful. The room itself could benefit from better lighting that's more easily accessible, and in general, everything was nice and spacious except the bathroom and shower which felt a bit cramped. The hallway carpets outside were dirty and could use refreshing. There's only one elevator, and it moves quite slowly, so factor in extra time if you're on an upper floor.

Would I Return?
Yes, I would stay here again. The free breakfast, helpful staff, clean accommodations, and excellent location outweigh the minor inconveniences. Just be prepared for a cozy room and don't expect lightning-fast elevator service.

The hotel is lovely, tucked away in a little courtyard really close to Sam Marco. most of the staff were really nice. One was quite misarable but that could be just her way. The fridge wasnt brilliant and there was a serious lack of pockets, but that wasnt anything major.

The setting for this hotel is stunning, right in the middle of San Marco near St Marks Square. It was clean and the staff were quite friendly, but the room was tiny and the toilet seat wobbled when you sat on it. I suppose, because of the size of it and where it is, it just didn’t seem like staying in a 3 star hotel. Fortunately, it’s position in Venice saved it and meant I’ve no regrets.

An Oasis of Serenity in La Serenissima

This hotel was tucked away in a small alley off a somewhat busy Avenue in Venice. It had a very nice and tranquil courtyard in front of it. It truly blacked out all the noise outside. The room had air-conditioning, was clean when I arrived was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful and had just about anything that you could ever want. Reception Was excellent. Roberto was very friendly with a lot of good advice. If I did come back to Venice, I would stay Do Pozzi again. Give it a try.

The hotel was clean & very central. My room was tiny but then us single travellers have to put up with this! I did not eat in the hotel but feel the ambience in the dining areas needs to be made more inviting - especially the outside seating area which is virtually non existent. More signage needed to offer eating facilities. I had a room on the first floor, which was very modern & up to date. Receptionist was rather sullen & withdrawn, although helpful!

Property is fine, good location, clean. But we’ve had several notifications of charges to our credit card we still trying to resolve with our bank. And our family was charged at checkin! Hotel says the charges are not from them but they are showing up under the hotels name. Either there’s an issue with billing group or their system has been hacked. Our bank is still working on resolving the triple charge activity.

When booking it said breakfast included (I must say now having been to the hotel I'm glad it wasn't)
Really noisy, thin walls between rooms and doesn't feel safe or secure. Stayed with my husband and neither of us slept as bed was so uncomfortable, shower completely flooded the bathroom due to poor design, very bad slip hazard.
Luckily was only for one night or I would have cancelled and requested a refund on the spot. Do not recommend!

We (2 adults & 1 child) stayed at Hotel Do Pozzi for 2 nights in May 2025. Having read a real mix of reviews before arriving, we weren’t sure what we’d find. What we did find was a traditionally decorated Venetian hotel with modern amenities.

We were in a family room with 1x double and 1x single and a private bathroom which included a shower over the bath. The room included 2 safes, a minibar and tea/coffee station.

Breakfast was a little steep at €15per person per day, given only scrambled eggs presented as warm option, however there is an element of paying for convenience. The chocolate croissants were excellent! Staff were friendly and someone was always available should you need them.

Once I got past the dozens of not so cute bridges and water obstacles and the fact there are no right angles anywhere. I found the hotel in the midst of the city's high end fashion and shopping district. The hotel might capitalize with better clarity in that regard. And just a couple of blocks from San Marcos

Have no shower holder so you can only take a bathtub and the basin in the bath shows an ugly damaged repaired patch. When they swap a room with a shower holder, you are the one who bear the quality intense drop. Basically you are paying 200 plus euro for only a 100 worth room. They push you into a bad deal.

This was a very nice hotel in a great area and very helpful staff. We only had three days in Venice so we needed a place that was very central. This was on a street with a bookstore and some restaurants but was not too busy or loud. I would definitely stay again!

The location was excellent! The hotel needs a refresh. They were painting the halls so maybe it will get better. The room was the attic they converted to a room. The shower was horrible. The floor was a swamp. I looked into other rooms and they looked great. It was just our room that was subpar!

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Do Pozzi... mostly. The room was comfortable and the bed slept very well. It was in a good, convenient location also. A few thing were \"concerning\"... The heat was not \"turned on\" yet. It was very chilly in the room most of the time especially at night. The bathroom design left a lot to be desired. I've never been a fan of the open shower concept. The first shower I took had water all over the floor past the toilet and over near the sink. I had to use most of my towels to clean that up. It was either poorly designed or poorly installed. Also, no shelves in the shower - who builds a
shower with no place to put soap and shampoo, very frustrating. The sink - looks pretty but not very functional; no counter space to put toiletries. The raised clamshell sink covers almost all the counter underneath, again frustrating. Overall nicely renovated but not functional for most travelers - a little overpriced for all the inconveniences.

This Hotel was very convenient and walkable, only 5 mins walk to St Marks Square. Many dining options around and quiet. The shower however was a nightmare! It is placed in the middle of the bath and sprays towards the middle of the bathroom against a door that does not seal! We could only use this as a hand shower, so if you're okay with that, stay here for sure. When we brought this to the notice of the reception desk, the guy just shrugged and said, it works. Obviously not a quick fix, but they need to address this issue! There was a little fridge with a minibar in the room, but the prices for the drinks exorbitant!

We were looking for a budget friendly option for a 2 night stay. This hotel met all of the prior reviews criteria. It is as advised. The staff made check in easy and were approachable. There is carpet in the common areas that gets a lot of foot traffic, so not in the best shape - stains, dirt, etc. The room itself was adequate, as a simple place to sleep. The bed was comfortable after a long day of walking. However, they advertise AC (which you cannot control) and it kept the room just cool enough to sleep but no more. Additionally only a sheet is provided. The bathroom had broken parts to the shower but has hot/cold water. If you are looking to have breakfast you need to choose that option when booking otherwise it is 15€/day.

In conclusion, if you are just looking for a place to sleep, this should suffice. Nothing more, nothing less.

Очень приятный и красивый отель. Без карты сходу найти сложновато, но на островке, где он находятся, есть указатели прохода. Отель находится во внутреннем дворике, в который надо пройти по узкому проходу.
Номер был чистый, теплый и комфортно обставленный. Красивая ванная комната с кучей всяких принадлежностей. Вкусный и разнообразный завтрак - на который, кстати, можно прийти без предварительной договоренности, и оплатить позже. Есть русскоязычный персонал.
Осталось чрезвыйчайно приятное впечатление от отеля. Спасибо!
