There was a bug in my room when I got there. The workers said it was due to the woods surrounding the hotel. We were moved to a different room. The cleanliness was average. The pillows were horrible. I was there for only a night. We had a place to sleep.

Glad I read the fine print before hitting send. Very slick Expedia. This hotel was fabulous. My check-in experience was horrible due to Expedia! Expedia hadn't sent my reservations to the hotel even though they had already CHARGED ME! We ended up having to wait for around an hour or so while the head hostess did her best to work this out. I could hear she was having trouble with the people with Expedia. Several Expedia representatives transferred her again and again, all while my exhausted 4 young children cried and acted silly in the lobby. The hotel's staff was amazing, and helped me entertain and even feed my children as we were forced to wait. This hotel has hired the most wonderful and accommodating staff that I have ever experienced in a hotel. This experience would have been much worse if it wasn't for the kind staff. At one point, the person from Expedia said they would send us to a different location in the area. I said no, we needed this exact hotel for our vacation plans. The hoastess assured us she wouldn't let that happen. FINALLY, Expedia sent over our booking. We got our room, only to find that instead of the double queen room I booked, we had a single king suit. Now I'm worried how much Expedia charged me, and all 5 of us had to sleep in one bed. Not the best night, but at least we had a clean and beautiful room. Homewood Suits, you get 5 stars! Expedia, I wouldn't reccomend you to my worst enemy!

Jamie at the front desk was EXCELLENT, she was very helpful and always greeted me by name when we crossed paths throughout the week! It is very clean and well-maintained but the drain stopper in the bathtub was out and off to the side, which was strange and looked like there was some maintenance going on, but no one fixed it when the room was cleaned. The bed was not very comfortable but the facility itself, the better-than-average breakfast, and the great staff will make it a return place for me.

My kids found a big mounting screw in the floor. The floors were so dirty my kids feet and legs stayed black anytime they touched them and my husband has nicknamed it district 12. It took my husband 4 days to get a functioning bedside lamp, and a whole day to get a toilet unclogged. Both of which the front staff were rude about. The ceiling fan rattles all night, the freezers ice maker doesn't work. The bedding is too small for the bed so someone constantly comes uncovered. And it's not a greatly comfortable bed to begin with. I usually really like Homewood suites but this one was horrible.

The breakfast staff was wonderful and hello. The breakfast was wonderful. Whoever knew that you would find Carnitas on a continental breakfast in a hotel. A taco bar wow that was amazing room had some cleanliness issues mainly the hair on the floor and dog hair on the couch. And the hallway carpets look like they could be really deep cleaned but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

It was OK

I chose this hotel over many others for my family and my parents to stay for my son’s basketball tournament. Chesterfield is a beautiful city, so many things to do and so nice and clean and safe. I was excited to have suites for our family which includes small kitchens and multiple beds. My first experience was not great as our room was not ready for us at 3:30 when check in is at 3:00. One room was ready so they said we could go up to that room and they would call up when the other was ready as it was already cleaned but “under inspection”. We waited and 30 minutes later we still had no call. I went down to the desk and she she called and said they were inspecting, as if that’s not what she had already told me. Waited about 15 more minutes and we needed to leave for our event and she said oh yeah we have your room ready. We just got the key put our stuff in our room and left. When we got back I noticed stains on the sheets, there was no extra toilet paper, only 3 towels for a room to sleep 6, and there was no extra linens for the pull out couch. I had to go down and get them at 11:30pm. The breakfast was great, a lot of variety and they kept it well stocked. The pool and outside area were great and very nice. The staff were very nice and helped with anything I needed.

Inconveniences noticed.

Homewood is my fever Hotel but the food service and variety here was not as It should be. During my week stay I came 10 min to 9am and some of the food trays were empty. I asked for the employee to supply more but he refuse as he was about to close the service. The hallway carpets were kind of dirty. Rooms were ok. I ran out of shower gel and after cleaning service they didn’t refilled. I have to ask them to bring it more…Hope they can improve what noticed.

Not ideal and won’t return.

We have stayed in this hotel previously, but it’s been quite some time. I doubt we will ever use this hotel again.
The dishes, utensils, and inside the cabinets were dirty. I ended up using bleach wipes to wipe down all services as the cleaners clearly don’t do it. I attempted to run a load of dishes in the dishwasher and it took the machine an extreme amount of time to run and still didn’t clean any thing off the dishes/utensils. I ended up scrubbing by hand after soaking in the sink. A spatula was coated with food particles and I couldn’t get it clean so I just threw it down in the cabinet by the trash can. The hotel can deal with it if they even notice it.
The bathroom was slightly dirty as well with multiple pieces of hair, corroded shower head (which was not movable) and an empty body wash container. We had packed a body wash just in case so we just used this instead.
Although breakfast is never a huge feature at any major hotel chain, the breakfast here was cold both mornings and offered very little. We ended up going out both times after we left for the morning.
Although the front desk was very pleasant at check-in, I doubt we will ever be returning to this particular hotel. We have had a great experience years prior at this location, but it seems that they don’t maintain very well.

Thin Walls and Questionable Housekeeping

The hotel seems new and is in good condition. We had a suite that had a kitchen in it. When we arrived their was shattered glass on the floor of the kitchen. Hard to understand how housekeeping missed shattered glass all over the floor before telling the front desk that the room was clean. They did send someone to clean it promptly, but that is really dangerous that they released this room with broken glass all over the floor.

Our second issue was that the walls are so thin in this hotel. We were on the first floor and it sounded like herds of elephants rumbling above us very often throughout our stay morning, noon and night which made it hard to sleep. The plumbing wall is also very noisy so we kept hearing really load burst when people were either using the toilets or showers in our stack.

First of all when I checked in, I could hardly understand the clerk as our English was really terrible. Secondly, we found a bug in our room that was alive, crawling over my leg when I was sitting on the couch and then later another dead one in the bathroom! We asked to get a refund on the last day and they told us we couldn’t because we had booked through you. So instead, they moved us to another room per our request. The breakfast they offered was good and the gentleman on Friday morning was extremely bubbly and friendly.

We arrived and checked into a room with hair in the bathtub, and food smears on the refrigerator. Also, the shower gel (hooked to the wall style) was COMPLETELY empty. The 2nd evening, neither of our keys worked so i had to go down to the desk for new keys They didnt provide daily housekeeping, which is fine, they state they service every other day. So i went down to the desk for clean towels, which the clerk said she didn't have any to give me. It took almost 2 hours for them to bring them to the room. Day 3, i stopped at the desk at 9 am, on the way to the funeral we came into town for, and requested housekeeping. We didnt arrive back until around 4, and no housekeeping had been done. So, once again, i had to go down to the desk. They said they would send someone. An hour passed, and they called our room to tell us that they couldnt come, and that we had left a sign on the door for privacy. First of, thats simply NOT true. We didnt leave a sign on the door, AND we specifically stopped and requested housekeeping. So now, i ask can they at least bring us towels, which they did shortly after. All in all, it was extremely disappointing to spend over $600 for 3 nights in a dirty room with no housekeeping and trash and dirty towels piling up. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Spend your money elsewhere.

Good place to stay. Only two elevators up toward the fron of the hotel. If you reserve a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor make sure its close to the elevators if you have trouble walking. Kind of maze like finding your room. Otherwise good place to stay.

I would recommend Homewood as a destination getaway for Chesterfield, MO. The staff at this location were AWESOME!

I booked a 2-bedroom suite, one room with a king bed, another room with two queen beds. I was getting married (outdoors) on Saturday, 10/12 and needed a place for me to get ready, hair, etc. I booked this sweet because of the space and then also for my out of town maid of honor and her family (Lindsey). Instead of the suite I booked, they put her in a 1-bdrm suite and tried to say it was a 2-bdrm because it had a pull out couch. I had to fight with the front desk (while putting me late to my rehearsal). She finally \"upgrades\" me. Get to the room and it's the exact room i booked!! it was frustrating because my confirmation does not show specifically what i booked which would have been helpful in proving my reservation. They saw one adult and two kids, and thought they could get away with putting them in a smaller room. A Bride-t-be does NOT need that kind of stress the night before.

We enjoyed most of our stay. The staff was superb and the breakfast offered several options that were greats. The refrigerator and freezer in our room did not seem to be working (plugged in but not cold) and once alerted of the issue, the maintenance team was assigned to resolve the issue.

Lobby and breakfast area are very nice. Room itself was disgusting. Our feet and socks were so dirty from the carpets. We are a family of 4 and only received 2 towels and no linens for the pull out couch.
