Arrived at noon. The coffee shop was closed. The lobby was packed. Had to wait three hours for room and there were no comfortable chairs or sofas to use while waiting. Only had a cafeteria area with hard cheap chairs. Def not what I’m used to.

Room was dirty with hair in the bathroom and the bed had hair on the sheets.
There was a church convention going on with lots of teenagers. There were signs posted numerous places regarding quiet time. This was severely overlooked and not enforced. It was well past 1:00 am when we last called the front desk to complain. The staff did nothing to enforce quiet time.

Elevators where not available due to large Christian group of children staying for a convention. Teenage children would hit the button for all floors and hold elevators for friends. Had to use the emergency stairway on multiple occasions from the 10th floor! Hotel management should have placed personal in the elevators to stop this abuse! Also Chaperons for the group where nowhere in sight.

The breakfast menu was mediocre. There was not a lot to choose from. If you wanted your omelette special made like they advertise. You had to wait in a line that consistently had at least 10 people. The quality of the food was average. The size of the pool at this facility was extremely small considering they have 10 stories of rooms. The pool was so small, compared to the quantity of guests you could not reach your arms out without touching someone else. My room was not ready when I arrived. Check in time is 3 PM. I arrived at 3:50 and was asked to come back in 10 or 15 minutes because my room was ready. They do not take cash deposits so I had to leave to go put the money on my cash app card. I questioned the attendant on which types of cards would be accepted and he stated we take all Visa and Mastercard. However, when I returned, I was informed that they do not take cash app cards and there’s a long list of cards. They don’t accept so I had to have my significant other pay for the deposit online, which was a whole other ordeal. By the time I got checked into my room, it was 6 PM during all of this trouble with getting checked in the staff was not friendly. When they saw that my card was declined They’re demeanor went from extremely friendly to cold and not helpful. My room was already paid for the evening before, and I had the deposit money. It was just not on the appropriate card that they accept. Regardless of the reason, it was their fault.

Much of the food for breakfast was gone by 8:00 on Friday morning. The evening social time with snacks and drinks was very sparse on Thursday night with only 2 snack options. The website photo showed a more - I did not find a location to see what is served each evening. For someone with food allergies and a special diet, that was frustrating.

Hotel is starting to show some wear. Needs new carpet and beds/ pillows in my opinion. Housekeeping does need to pay closer attention to their work. We had items left that we threw away because they were missed. We still love the ambiance of the hotel. We also love the breakfast.

The hotel advertised free airport transfers but when we tried to book our transfer we were told the transfers are only for limited times of the day . Our arrival in the afternoon was not available for transport. As we checked in we were told Expedia had mistakenly double booked our stay. It was clearly a mistake we did not need the extra rooms . The hotel would not cancel the extra rooms so we were charged double for our stay.

One of the two people checking people in was very discriminatory. I was waiting in line and an African American lady came in significantly after me. The employee was African American and checked her in ahead of me. I see this as reverse discrimination as I am Caucasian. If this were reversed it would have been a huge issue!

My husband and I have stayed here several times but this time has me questioning whether I’ll come back. We checked in the day before New Years Eve and it was quiet and not a lot of guest. We went out on New Year’s Eve and came back around 11:15pm. As we were coming in the back doors, large amounts of “non guests” were trying to get in behind us since they didn’t have a key card. We walked in and the noise was extremely loud and the entire hotel was filled with people partying. Everyone’s doors were open, boom boxes were playing loud, and people were partying outside the doors along the railing on all the floors. The police were there because it was getting out of control. We couldn’t sleep because the partying went on all night. We found out from a couple who was also there, that the hotel allows this every year. The next morning there was broken glass outside in the grass, trash all over the floors, food on the elevator floors. We spent over $1000 to stay here and it was definitely a horrible stay.

I LOVE this hotel! I can't wait to visit my St. Louis family again just so we go stay here. Our 2 queen suite was extra spacious for our family of 6. I'm from the south, so I do wish the breakfast buffet had grits. Still, they had a variety of good options to choose from. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean.

The heat didn’t work in the room and it wasn’t properly cleaned. There were food crumbs left on the bar sink, food left in one of the seating chairs, and there was a stain in one of the beds. The only thing I’d say is they should pay more attention to the details. Other than that it was a great atmosphere, good location, and delicious omelets!

The room seems very nice. Love the Pure Wellness room. We have lots of allergies, some airborne, some surface, even pets. Check in took 20 min and no map or info about hotel. Shower drain seems almost clogged but love the clean shower water. 2 TV's nice but we didn't think to bring streaming passwords or HDMI cable and tablet can't wifi cast to TV. Clean sheets for sofa bed easy to find. Lots of space. For convenience I might try to stay another night but kind of pricey. 10:00 and still a lot of noise from guests.

This stay was the worst of all stays in any hotel we have ever had. We prepaid for the presidential suite to find out upon arrival they gave our room away because they “hadn’t assigned rooms at that time” we are a family of 4 with two small children and the room was given to a couple. After no solution they gave us a “suite” and when we get to the room it’s 80 degrees with two double beds after requesting a king. The couch was disgusting, it looked like someone walked through mud then walked all over the couch. We were only refunded for a half of a night.. I don’t know why we expected anything more from an embassy suites but it’ll definitely be the last time i let my family stay at one.

I had the best lady Katy who checked me in.. Great personality. she made the stay great!! When I went to the restaurant, no waitress ever came or checked on the tables, I ended up ordering from the bar to take back to my room after waiting over a half hour! The coffee shop needs to be open for more hours.
