Everything was beyond very dirty. They are under construction and it is not correctly being completed. There is stuff every where, the room I originally had was so smoked in it was disgusting. We couldn't use the pool or exercise room because of construction but nothing online stated that. We couldn't use any ice machines because they were either unplugged or covered in paint sanding dust. Empty rooms were left open and the side doors going in and out were propped open with big rocks and the staircase door was being slammed all night. Wasn't comfortable eating the breakfast because of the construction dust everywhere. All the windows had plastic that you had to listen to all night. We had no cold water in the bathroom sink. We even had dirty towels behind our bathroom door but they're was a note at the desk that their was no housekeeping so we felt there was no reason to complain, disgusting. Worst sleep ever. We were so upset but had no choice but to stay there. My husband even tripped over wires that were laying by the elevator door. Extremely disappointed and wish we could have received a refund. I understand construction and typically enjoy seeing it because you can n invision what it will be but this was terrible. We've stayed here many times but there's no way we will go back until construction is over. I highly recommend you do not stay there!! Especially if you have children, it is not safe!

I was in total shock upon arrival. I thought they was closed, and had to ask the counter person if they was. This hotel shouldn't be listed on this site at all right now. They shouldn't even be open. They are remodeling the entire building with work on all floors, inside & out. If I wasn't stuck without a choice for another hotel, I wouldn't have stayed, but everything around was booked up and it was late. Room was dirty, entry cards stopped working, and the noise was constant. There was no Breakfast, and no coffee, even tho I paid for it. The only ice machine broke trying to use it. I'm sure it will be nice once done, but I shouldn't have to navigate thru a construction site filled with building materials, stepping in tile adhesive, drywall mud, and sanding dust from the entrance to the room. The stairways was so full of debris they was unusable. The painting crew was spraying outside in the wind with some parked vehicles within 50 ft. Apparently nobody has trash bags or owns a shop vac. I am completely surprised the city hasn't shut them down yet. They are only renting 12 units, but they shouldn't be renting any, until they finish the messy, noisy work.

Property was absolutely filthy and needed updated at least a decade ago, if not longer. There is a \"remodel\" going on, but what exactly is being improved? No clue, we saw no improvements. What we did see was torn and hanging wallpaper literally everywhere, construction dust and trash from days? weeks? months? prior with absolutely no attempt to keep the establishment tidy. There was a sign on the front desk saying there is no maid/housekeeping and it definitely showed. As other reviews for the hotel have stated on Google, there are regulars staying at this hotel that harass other guests. We were awoken at midnight by someone knocking, banging, and trying to forcefully enter the room. My husband asked who it was, they said \"Helen\" and he told her to leave. Through the entire incident, we called the front desk from our cell phone and the room phone approx. 10 times and no one would answer. When we finally got someone on the phone, they acted as if they knew exactly what was going on and would \"send someone up\". Definitely top 2 worst hotels we've ever stayed at. At this point it could only be improved by being sold, leveled, and all new staff hired.

When we checked in our room was not clean we used wipes to clean handprints and white spots off the head board. There was a big wad of dirty hair on the shower wall. The hallway was disgusting. They never said anything about any kind of construction and we found roaches on our door. The food in the morng was limited. Not much choice.

The room we stayed in had a serious smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom as well as a cat urine smell near the door. We got in around midnight and were extremely tired so we didn’t notice these until the next morning. When we notified the staff at the front he didn’t seem to know what to do and told me that I’d need to “tell her when she gets back”. We checked out after that and ended up spending our second night at a hotel that was much better.

When we got there I was told there system was down and they could not accommodate our stay. Thankfully I selected ‘pay at property’ when I booked through Expedia. I ended up having to stay elsewhere which actually worked out since it was cheaper.

This is a very old, poorly maintained hotel. The pool was out of order, all vending machines were broken, the room was filthy and had other people's food and beer cans in it when we got in there, stains on the sheets and curtains. All buttons busted out of the jacuzzi tub and no drain plug to even take a bath without the jacuzzi. The owners are nice people and the price was fair but the place needs a lot of work and better housekeeping.

The hotel room had a razor covering the peep hole, there was hair in the tub and on the sink, hairdryer, etc. and the iron had a paper clip in it. There was a patch of some sort hanging from the towel hangers and we had to change the bedding because the room seemed very neglected. All the carpet was very dirty and the whole place smelled of cigarettes and weed. The new bedding and towels we received smelled heavily used.

The lobby was nice and it is convenient to places to eat. The breakfast was only make your own waffles, no coffee creamer except for some powder packets, cereal , no milk, and a couple muffins. So don't count on breakfast

First room I was checked into wasn’t cleaned up after the last guest. Found a cup of coffee by the bed stand and stains in the toilet. I complained to front desk who checked me into another room. Sheets and everything else in the room looked very old. To make matters worse, we found a bed bug crawling on the sheet. My worst hotel experience ever. To think I settled for them because of a good experience at one of their franchises at a different state in 2014.

No staff available at check in to check in, waited 27 minutes for someone to arrive at front desk, even while repeatedly calling the hotel phone with no one answering it. Entire building smelled like marijuana, all three floors (my room was on 3rd floor). Sheets were dirty and stained and I had no toilettries in my room upon arrival. The “breakfast” was literally a waffle iron and syrup and juice/coffee. Will never return to this hotel.

The room was absolutely disgusting. The floor was sticky, there was long black hair everywhere. The sheets had so many stains on both beds. One bed had food crumbs in it.
As soon as I saw that I went to the office to let them know how filthy everything was and that I wanted new clean sheets. Unfortunately the maid service wasn’t Available so they gave me new sheets which also had large stains on them. The phone in my room didn’t work and they did NOTHING about it. There were crackheads lurking around the building. My family felt extremely uncomfortable! The coffee machine was broken and the continental breakfast was gross and very unsanitary. This place needs to be reported! It was way too expensive. The safety, cleanliness was not even worth a 1 star. I would have asked to get a refund and go to another place but unfortunately we came with a large group for a family Christmas get together and had too many rooms. I DON’T recommend EVER coming to this hotel. Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!

I booked the least expensive room that I could find, and I got what I paid for. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was ok, but had furniture that was broken. There was no refrigerator, and it looked like someone destroyed the cabinet that held it to remove it. The shower squirted water out from the controls and the handheld shower head was even worse. These things were an inconvenience, but only that. All in all, it was fine and worth the $70 or so that I paid.

Two things for the poor rating. For starters, the room door wouldn't latch, so there was no way to lock the door when leaving the room. At least there was a chain lock on the inside for while in the room. Second...It was like a scavenger hunt trying to find outlets in the room that worked. Half of the wall outlets were dead.

Our first room had bed bugs and the room had mold in the lamp.We didn't notice the bed bugs until four hours after arriving and my son was asleep. I went to the front and told them we had bed bugs. They switched our room but only gave me one key. The next morning I noticed our remote for the TV was not there. I told the front desk and they said they would get one for us. We went out for about 2 hours, when we came back we still had no remote. I went to the front desk again and asked for a remote and they again said they would get us a remote. We left for the day and came back that evening and still no remote. At this time I tried to connect our firestick and got the TV on by a button under the TV. None of the HDMI connections worked so we still could not use the TV. I was very disappointed by this hotel. I would of left the first night if we had somewhere to go or I could afford to purchase a different hotel room. I have never stayed in any hotel as dirty as this one and inattentive staff. DO NOT STAY Here!

This is a very low budget motel that serves a purpose. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot. Check-in was quick. The location is decent as it’s close to restaurants and stores. That’s where the good stops. The hotel is non-smoking, but the old stench of cigarettes fills the halls and rooms from a previous era. The room was not clean. The light over the sink didn’t work. The bathroom door didn’t have a knob. The sheets and towels need to be thrown away. There’s no window screen. I immediately went to Walgreens (walking distance) for Lysol and sprayed every inch of that room for some peace of mind. If I were staying for more than one drunken night, I couldn’t have stayed there. There was a random pack of “viagara” in the exercise room. By the way, that consists of one treadmill, one bike, and one elliptical which is all better than nothing.

The staff stated that the credit card machine was broken when I got in to check in. So they made me go find an ATM to pull cash. They told me my reservation was $240 for the 2 nights plus a $50 deposit. I handed him $300 and he proceeded to keep the whole amount. I asked him where my $10 is and he snickers and says \" you didn't wnat to put $60 for deposit?\" like I had not agreed to the $50. Never got a receipt or anything. The next night, I thought it was strange so I checked my expedia and the totals were different. I went down to check out and got somebody else and told them the situation and they were reluctant to believe me because his computer only showed that I paid $187. I made him call the other guy and they were talkin gin their language for a bit and he handed me $100 back for the difference and my deposit. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY CLAIM THEOIR CREDIT CAR MACHINE DOESNT WORK TO POCKET MONEY. EXPEDIA NEEDS TO CUT TIES WITH THEM.

Dont get me started on the nasty walls with mold, missing paint, and hard beds. This is a motel 6 in disguise.

Our room smelled bad and so did much of the hotel, not so horrible that we couldn't just ignore it and make the most of our trip, but enough that it was unpleasant. Their \"breakfast\" was cereal, some mediocre muffins, toast, or questionable waffles that you made yourself and when someone spilled waffle mix all over the counter and floor they had not cleaned it up by the next day.

Ask for creamer at breakfast station and he told me to get it from the cabinets storage area myself. First night a man overdosed and dies in the hotel. Night two one man arrested in parking lot three others hiding in and around hotel. Men in a smoking area by front entrance politely let me know they are users and hotel is a cheap option for them and others so they all stay here. As we watch the police look for the three missing men. Hallway carpet dirty and stained needs deep cleaned or replaced elevator floor tiles broken and missing. Ask to leave a key at front desk for my daughter who was arriving late and was told she can just ask for a key. I said I would like to leave her name and they told me no need they would just make her a key. She just needs to tell them my room #. Poor shower head only one stream of water , TV works great as well as cooling unit. Refrigerator worked but froze everything. Ample lighting in the rooms. Room was cheap, paid roughly $75 a night but not worth the worries of the feeling of uneasiness and safety issues.

Most everything in my room was dirty. The toilet had no flush handle. With the tank lid off I had to manually flush the toilet. The sheets had red/brown spots on them. The TV kept freezing up.

Safety lock on door was inadequate, no maid service, breakfast was limited to small bagels, and waffle machine! No fruit, no eggs, no meat, only small coffee machine in dining area and no coffee machine in room. Tile was broken in elevator floor!

Room had not been updated for years. Carpet old, plaster shedding off walls. Bedstand splitting at the bottom. Room smelled like a dirty sweat sock. TV didn’t work.
