Hotel says “hot breakfast” which consists of only waffles, cold cereal, and mini muffins. While we were there the pool was closed and there was no maid service. When we needed towels we had to go to the front desk and ask for them. The key cards kept deactivating. We had to go to the desk every time we returned to the room. The refrigerator didn’t work. The only upside to this hotel is that the room was clean when we arrived. We won’t be staying there again. Too many other options in the area.

Understand this, they are in the middle of a major remodel when I stayed. My room was clean. The hall was clean. There are no daily housekeepers to visit our room. The pool was not open due to remodeling. There is no gym. Parking was fine. The breakfast: well waffle maker was nice, no meat, no fruit, juice machine worked sometimes (when you got the right staff person to work on it), besides waffles they had toast, bagels, small muffins, and cereal (sometimes milk was there, sometimes not). They took a $50 deposit when I checked in. Besides dirty towels, unmaid bed, and using a few condiments in the room, the room was how I left it. If I get my deposit back, ok, but if not, .... Waiting on that one. That is new to me. I have had hotels ask for a credit card, but to actually charge a deposit was new. For a cheap hotel, I would say it was cleaner than average!

It’s a bit of a stretch to say this place has breakfast.
Remodeling going on and the old carpet is now being stored in indoor pool.
Room had leak in ceiling and plaster falling.
Bed was reasonably comfortable and the AC will go as cold and you want it.

it's in a great location but after paying for reservations.when checking in they require more money for stay, and checking out they it would take a week to get deposit back so we had to cut our stay time after going to the Dr.ive stayed at different properties by them and never had that much issues , we asked for easy get around room cause we are disabled and the bathtub shower was hard to get in and out of because the outside of tub is higher to step in and when you step in the tub ain't deep to match your other leg which caused my wife to fall getting out of the tub

This location is under a major remodel. The pool which we chose so my kids could use it was full of construction debris. Most of the walkways had construction debris in them. One of rooms had the doors on the cabinet pulled off. Our mirror was just sitting on the floor.

We booked America's Best in Expedia as it showed decent rooms and a pool. Came there to the hotel and there were pallets of materials right at the front door. Rolls of carpet in the lobby. Construction materials there and very strong smell of paint. Why did they not post a notice to the Expedia posting if so? We checked the main website, okay, it says they are under construction. But no notice to Expedia profile or to email to those who booked. We thought we could be okay so we checked in. The receptionist is talking on the phone on her own language while assisting our check in. That's rude and unprofessional for sure. Oh, I asked for the pool and she said it's not open. We went to our room, flicked the switches and nothing. Nothing. No lights! We have to turn on cellphone flashlight and come to the bedside table to turn on the lamp. Came to wash hands and the water is barely flowing. You can't wash on that! My husband walked to the window and stepped on a wet carpet in front of the tv. His socks has wet stains. What! All these within a minute or two of getting in the room. We called receptionist and she said she can't cancel but can move us to another room. Well if the whole hotel stinks with new paint smell, we don't want to stay and because we just came in, I'm asking for a courtesy refund. She hang up on me! I connected with Expedia and I got well-taken care of by Expedia agents! Kudos to Expedia for doing the right thing. But this hotel is America's Worst, unfortunately.

The hotel was under renovation - the elevator was streaked with dirt as if a dirty wet rag had left a trail of wet dirt which had dried - there was dust everywhere and the renovation looked like it had been done by children.

In the room, there was a problem with the TV which was not fixed in two days and one electrical socket was unprotected and dangerous. We left after two nights of a 4 day stay and we are contesting the charges.

Just don't book it.

I paid for 5 nights and stayed only 2. The property is going under a remodel and is not suitable for renting rooms. The carpet tack strips in the room were sticking through and in the path of travel to the bathroom. The amenities like the pool, etc. are not available for use. The first morning I was there, there was no breakfast even though it was to be included in the price of the room. The second morning, the breakfast consisted of a waffle maker, cereal, or a mini muffin with coffee (spars at best).
I appreciate that they are remodeling the property, but it is not ready for quests and the issues like tack strips that are walked on, dirty toilet, furniture that is falling apart, etc. should be remedied prior to opening to the public.

Despite being charged full price, the whole place appeared to be under construction. The pool was down in theory being worked on, but despite being there 2 business days there were no workers to be seen. None of the ice machines were hooked up, there were no vending machines, and the continental breakfast was barely stocked at 7:30 am unless you wanted a waffle. There are building materials everywhere, yet no work being done. As I looked down at the A-frame protecting the entrance, 2 different kinds of roofing and holes in the roof itself. It's just a mess. The staff was barely cordial and I wasn't welcomed or thanked for staying. The internet worked and that was the high side of the whole experience. Hopefully the renovations will improve the property but the staff isn't very friendly, the facility as it is now is a mess and very tired. They should have indicated the place was under construction and discounts should have been given since almost all the amenities were not available. I was there 4 nights and there wasn't even a sign to hang saying I didn't need the room serviced. Which wasn't a problem, because they didn't bother to clean/tidy/towel swap the room in 4 days. The people running this place are out of their depth. This is not a good property for Hotels.com to have in it's portal. If you want a cheap bed, this is probably OK. However, it depends on your definition of 'cheap'.

Filthy. Undergoing remodeling, yes, but there were no amenities other than a morning breakfast that was carbs, milk, and coffee. Juice machine did not work. Cereal, a few small muffins, and a waffle maker was the only options. One door to enter, one door to exit. Ants in room. Requested handicap accessible room, and stated my service dog would be with us. Desk attendant said none of these requests were on her screen and we did not get handicap room. No fire detector in room. No curtains, brown paper taped to windows. Floor dirty, mirrors showing dust. Rusted drain covers and toilet paper holder, shoddy caulking and painted over mistakes in bathroom. Shower curtain barely held up. Water leaking constant stream in bathtub and sink. Flooring broken and coming off in room. Beds not taken out before placing new floor, they just cut around the base of the bed and left that old carpet in place and laid new flooring around it. Taped to hold wood slat under door. Worst hotel. There were transient persons in the back parking lot of the building. No security. Not even maid service. I do not recommend this place. I took pictures for proof.

Ouch. This property is going through major renovations and I’m sure it would look great when it’s completed. However, NONE of this information was on Expedia when I booked my hotel. The pool and gym were not accessible and the entire carpet was being torn out and replaced on my floor. The workers were awesome and seemed to take pride in their work.

This property should NOT be open during this scale of renovation. There were many hazards visibly evident and possibly a few OSHA violations.

This hotel is under construction and the entire hotel was nasty. The workers blared their music until late at night and started working again early morning. We was trying to get into our room and a working was scraping the carpet up two inches from my fiancés feet. They have no common courtesy for the people who are staying there. We rented two rooms and the bathroom flooded in one of our rooms. I wouldn't recommend staying her to anyone!

1. Construction on every floor, was not made aware. And couldn't use pool.
2. I originally booked the room for $174 + a $50 security fee thatd get returned. They tried charging me $290 before the fee. But luckily I had the reservation on hand and they honored the $224 and eventually returned the fee.
3. Side door kept getting propped open by I assume the construction workers. But when items were removed by those of us staying there, another item magically appeared not long after. Front desk workers didnt seem to on top of fixing it when told.
4. Smoke detector went off at 2am with no smoke/steam around. Not low battery chirp but full on blaring. Had to take it out.
5. Room next to mine plus my rooms door handles were very loose, like they were about to pop off and key cards barely worked no matter how many switch outs. Plus when they did work, I had to throw my whole weight into the door just so itd open

The absolute worst hotel experience I've ever had. The hotel is under major renovation, so large amounts of debris and construction material were strewn everywhere in the lobby, stairs, and hallways. In my room, there were stains or other filth on the carpet, flooring, bed linens, and even the walls. The faucet in the bathroom was difficult to turn off, and the meager lighting went out after the first day; most of the light switches in the main part of the room were nonfunctional. The TV remote was missing its back, so the batteries kept falling out. For my 5-day stay, there was no cleaning service of the room, so the coffee supply ran out after 2 days. The breakfast set-up had a Belgian waffle maker, but no syrup or other toppings for the waffles; the coffee tasted like water.

Everything was beyond very dirty. They are under construction and it is not correctly being completed. There is stuff every where, the room I originally had was so smoked in it was disgusting. We couldn't use the pool or exercise room because of construction but nothing online stated that. We couldn't use any ice machines because they were either unplugged or covered in paint sanding dust. Empty rooms were left open and the side doors going in and out were propped open with big rocks and the staircase door was being slammed all night. Wasn't comfortable eating the breakfast because of the construction dust everywhere. All the windows had plastic that you had to listen to all night. We had no cold water in the bathroom sink. We even had dirty towels behind our bathroom door but they're was a note at the desk that their was no housekeeping so we felt there was no reason to complain, disgusting. Worst sleep ever. We were so upset but had no choice but to stay there. My husband even tripped over wires that were laying by the elevator door. Extremely disappointed and wish we could have received a refund. I understand construction and typically enjoy seeing it because you can n invision what it will be but this was terrible. We've stayed here many times but there's no way we will go back until construction is over. I highly recommend you do not stay there!! Especially if you have children, it is not safe!

I was in total shock upon arrival. I thought they was closed, and had to ask the counter person if they was. This hotel shouldn't be listed on this site at all right now. They shouldn't even be open. They are remodeling the entire building with work on all floors, inside & out. If I wasn't stuck without a choice for another hotel, I wouldn't have stayed, but everything around was booked up and it was late. Room was dirty, entry cards stopped working, and the noise was constant. There was no Breakfast, and no coffee, even tho I paid for it. The only ice machine broke trying to use it. I'm sure it will be nice once done, but I shouldn't have to navigate thru a construction site filled with building materials, stepping in tile adhesive, drywall mud, and sanding dust from the entrance to the room. The stairways was so full of debris they was unusable. The painting crew was spraying outside in the wind with some parked vehicles within 50 ft. Apparently nobody has trash bags or owns a shop vac. I am completely surprised the city hasn't shut them down yet. They are only renting 12 units, but they shouldn't be renting any, until they finish the messy, noisy work.

Property was absolutely filthy and needed updated at least a decade ago, if not longer. There is a \"remodel\" going on, but what exactly is being improved? No clue, we saw no improvements. What we did see was torn and hanging wallpaper literally everywhere, construction dust and trash from days? weeks? months? prior with absolutely no attempt to keep the establishment tidy. There was a sign on the front desk saying there is no maid/housekeeping and it definitely showed. As other reviews for the hotel have stated on Google, there are regulars staying at this hotel that harass other guests. We were awoken at midnight by someone knocking, banging, and trying to forcefully enter the room. My husband asked who it was, they said \"Helen\" and he told her to leave. Through the entire incident, we called the front desk from our cell phone and the room phone approx. 10 times and no one would answer. When we finally got someone on the phone, they acted as if they knew exactly what was going on and would \"send someone up\". Definitely top 2 worst hotels we've ever stayed at. At this point it could only be improved by being sold, leveled, and all new staff hired.

The room we stayed in had a serious smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom as well as a cat urine smell near the door. We got in around midnight and were extremely tired so we didn’t notice these until the next morning. When we notified the staff at the front he didn’t seem to know what to do and told me that I’d need to “tell her when she gets back”. We checked out after that and ended up spending our second night at a hotel that was much better.

This is a very old, poorly maintained hotel. The pool was out of order, all vending machines were broken, the room was filthy and had other people's food and beer cans in it when we got in there, stains on the sheets and curtains. All buttons busted out of the jacuzzi tub and no drain plug to even take a bath without the jacuzzi. The owners are nice people and the price was fair but the place needs a lot of work and better housekeeping.

The hotel room had a razor covering the peep hole, there was hair in the tub and on the sink, hairdryer, etc. and the iron had a paper clip in it. There was a patch of some sort hanging from the towel hangers and we had to change the bedding because the room seemed very neglected. All the carpet was very dirty and the whole place smelled of cigarettes and weed. The new bedding and towels we received smelled heavily used.

First room I was checked into wasn’t cleaned up after the last guest. Found a cup of coffee by the bed stand and stains in the toilet. I complained to front desk who checked me into another room. Sheets and everything else in the room looked very old. To make matters worse, we found a bed bug crawling on the sheet. My worst hotel experience ever. To think I settled for them because of a good experience at one of their franchises at a different state in 2014.

No staff available at check in to check in, waited 27 minutes for someone to arrive at front desk, even while repeatedly calling the hotel phone with no one answering it. Entire building smelled like marijuana, all three floors (my room was on 3rd floor). Sheets were dirty and stained and I had no toilettries in my room upon arrival. The “breakfast” was literally a waffle iron and syrup and juice/coffee. Will never return to this hotel.

The room was absolutely disgusting. The floor was sticky, there was long black hair everywhere. The sheets had so many stains on both beds. One bed had food crumbs in it.
As soon as I saw that I went to the office to let them know how filthy everything was and that I wanted new clean sheets. Unfortunately the maid service wasn’t Available so they gave me new sheets which also had large stains on them. The phone in my room didn’t work and they did NOTHING about it. There were crackheads lurking around the building. My family felt extremely uncomfortable! The coffee machine was broken and the continental breakfast was gross and very unsanitary. This place needs to be reported! It was way too expensive. The safety, cleanliness was not even worth a 1 star. I would have asked to get a refund and go to another place but unfortunately we came with a large group for a family Christmas get together and had too many rooms. I DON’T recommend EVER coming to this hotel. Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!

No hot water. The toilet ran all night. Thr door would not shut or lock and you see inside from the top of the door. 3 stars because it was clean and somewhat cheap.

I booked the least expensive room that I could find, and I got what I paid for. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was ok, but had furniture that was broken. There was no refrigerator, and it looked like someone destroyed the cabinet that held it to remove it. The shower squirted water out from the controls and the handheld shower head was even worse. These things were an inconvenience, but only that. All in all, it was fine and worth the $70 or so that I paid.

adding fresh fruit option for breakfast would be easy improvement. hallways and especially stairways needed vacuuming. room was clean. smell of marijuana in hallway/stairwell was strong.

Two things for the poor rating. For starters, the room door wouldn't latch, so there was no way to lock the door when leaving the room. At least there was a chain lock on the inside for while in the room. Second...It was like a scavenger hunt trying to find outlets in the room that worked. Half of the wall outlets were dead.

This wax a nice place. The only complaint is that a member of the staff wax sleeping on the couch in the lobby as we were checking out. Not a good sign of professionalism.

This. Property doesn't have housekeeping. The carpets are rarely vacuumed and the staff is difficult to understand their language. I stayed 4 night in a row and thought I should have flgotten more of discount. Breakfast is only waffles and cereal also. The hotel gives a good 1st impression but the longer you stay you can really see the dirt

Our first room had bed bugs and the room had mold in the lamp.We didn't notice the bed bugs until four hours after arriving and my son was asleep. I went to the front and told them we had bed bugs. They switched our room but only gave me one key. The next morning I noticed our remote for the TV was not there. I told the front desk and they said they would get one for us. We went out for about 2 hours, when we came back we still had no remote. I went to the front desk again and asked for a remote and they again said they would get us a remote. We left for the day and came back that evening and still no remote. At this time I tried to connect our firestick and got the TV on by a button under the TV. None of the HDMI connections worked so we still could not use the TV. I was very disappointed by this hotel. I would of left the first night if we had somewhere to go or I could afford to purchase a different hotel room. I have never stayed in any hotel as dirty as this one and inattentive staff. DO NOT STAY Here!

I searched this area forever looking for indoor pool and that didnt cost a fortune n i found 1!! Only it was freezing cold and such a disappointing waste of money!! I could have picked 1 without a indoor pool for $30 cheaper....😫

Very unhappy. Wish I would have never booked here. It very dirty floors were disgusting. Only one door worked to go into hotel, the breakfast was horrible well what u could get because everything was empty. Staff walking around with no shoes or stocks on. Very unhappy. If I could get my money back I would. Don’t waste your money on this place.
