When we arrived it was a young boy out in his car playing music really loud but it was still early so I let it be. Walking in the door to check in and the same young boy walked behind to go to the front desk. Come to find out he worked there so he checked me in I went to my room to put my luggage away and the rooms most definitely needs to be remodeled. I left to go get food come back the same young boy was outside standing by the door smoking weed.

Only one issue and it has zero to do with the conditions of the rooms or amenities, but it has become a very big problem for me that i now am on about day 3 of blame game ping pong between my bank and Candlwood Suites because nobody wants to step up and be accountable. But i can tell you this, if Desk clerk for Candlewood completes my check in process without a very big mistake as i see it. Then this review is 180 degrees the other way. Long story short upon arrival and check in i handed o er my card for security deposit and incidentals and clerk ran it for $100. Typical. But almost immediately looks to me like maybe he thinks the card didnt run or there was something wrong with that attempt at running the card. So he asks to run it again but this time for some reason i cant seem to justify charges me $116.25 this time for security deposit and incidentals???.. I am u aware that any of this takes place until i get to my room check my account and it shows both transactions processed and were withdrawn from my account immediately along with the $132 also withdrawn for the cost of the room itself for a total of +-$348. At this point not a real big deal mistakes happen. I go back to front desk ask whats going with the double charge for security deposit of 2 different amounts entirely and was told the mistake was caught. That the erroneous $116 charge was caught right away and would return to my account in \"a couple of days\" along with the other $100 correctly charged deposit

First time staying at this hotel brand. The hotel was average. We got the 2 bedroom suite, which was quite spacious. Unfortunately, the room had a smell that reeked of old cigarette smoke and was musty. Several areas in the room were dusty. No body wash in the bathroom. Told the front desk, who said they'd bring some by, but never did. Construction workers and other traveling positions use the hotel for extended stay, which is great, but based on the overall experience, I probably won't book this hotel ever again.

I was not impressed with this hotel, there were groups of people gathered outside in the evenings being very loud. No housekeeping, I took out my own trash, toilet broke the first night, maintenance fixed the next day. Two separate buildings, the lobby was in the opposite building as what I was in. I was not told towels had to be exchanged to get new towels until I was already in the lobby asking for clean towels. I left the lobby went into the second building all the way up to the third floor and back to the lobby for clean towels. If I had known all of these things I would have booked elsewhere. I stayed 4 nights, over $500 for what? A bed to sleep in without housekeeping or any other service. No thanks

The room was disgusting, we almost didn't stay but it was late and we'd already brought the kids up to the room. Hair in the bathroom of every kind, floors so gross and sticky. I used a towel to attempt to clean them and the towel turned black. Toilet needed cleaning. Kitchen area was mediocre at best, looked like it was about to fall apart. Room was hard to get to as well. Would definitely not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

staff was very nice and accommodating. however the first room i had when i first checked in the light in the bed room was flashing on and off, there was stains on the couch, and the toilet had scratches on it. They moved us to a smaller room which was ok but the tub was dirty. over all the stay was good.

The rooms were clean, spacious and it is in a quiet location - no highway noise or lots of traffic. Yet it is close to anything you could need, grocery stores, fast food, coffee.
There was an issue with the room we booked and they did a great job to accommodate our reservation and make sure we had a place to stay that meet our needs. This will be our place to stay in we are in the area again !

Dirty, leaking , and overall unsafe. Changed rooms several times, each room was just as bad. Several other guests were also trying to switch rooms. After the 5th dirty room, I left and checked into another hotel. We had two days left at Candlewood which they refused to refund.

The property upon arrival is confusing. There was no signage as to where to enter. The check-in staff, AJ, was very kind. That was the main highlight of our stay. The hotel was quiet, but in very poor condition, especially cleanliness-wise. There was mold on the bathroom exhaust fan. There were stains all over the carpet, both in our room and in the hallways/common areas. The flooring in the kitchen area was peeling up. The hotel also smelled - our room was humid and smelled like feet. The lobby area reeked of smoke, as staff and guests would smoke very near the doors, despite the “100% smoke free property” signs. We were staying with our infant and all of these issues made us uncomfortable.

I went on a weekend trip with my husband and 3 kids. We were arriving later in the evening. The hotel called at almost 11pm and informed me that the room I booked wasnt going to be available the 1st night. Instead of a room with 2 beds, we were booked into 2 separate rooms. Which would have been fine, except we were charged the same price, even though the rooms book at different prices. We were required to reload our stuff back in our car after the 1st night because our double room wouldnt be available until later that afternoon, but the hotel needed to be able to clean and rebook the single rooms. On my second day of a nine day stay the carpet was wet as was the comforter due to a leak from the sprinkler head at the foot of the bed. I reported it. The next day they came and cut a large hole in the ceiling and left it open for two days. The hole was large enough for bugs, mice, and rats to have entered the room from the second floor ceiling. They did return to patch the ceiling and left a fan to dry the carpet. Additionally, there is not enough parking. Many spaces are filled by large commercial trucks, flatbed and cable reel trailers, along with wide body trucks and bad parking jobs with even normal cars taking two spaces. Several spaces were taken up by storge lockers. The outside trash cans were overflowing and you had to walk through a lineup of smokers at each entrance.

Maybe reevaluate corporate leadership. Get on those corporate jets and get in field and see what your establishment look like and how they run. Oh and don’t tell them when you visit. Not rocket science.

My main complaint is with the way they charge you for your room. I booked it at $88 taxes etc to be added later. I went to pay for the room, they wanted the $103 for room, taxes etc. But then another $100 for \"incidental's\". I said no, that is charged if I leave the room a mess, take something etc. That is not charged before I even check in. The clerk said, and I quote \"I got you\". He got me alright, charged me $50 instead of $100. No I am fighting to get my $50 back. I will never stay at this hotel again.

They had so many construction worker vehicles in the parking lot that it was almost impossible to find a parking spot. \"They were living there\" I was also worried they would hit my vehicle and not really care. The elevator was in complete disrepair, made a banging noise when passing the 2nd level \"building opposite of the lobby. They also had a company doing restoration till after 8PM. Banging so loud we could hear it on the 3rd floor from the 1st floor. There was no mention of this at check in. The staff had a friend there when we were checking in, she was being extremely loud and obnoxious, she also had 3 kids there that were running all over the place. We thought we would give this place a chance.... we will not be back to this location or an others anytime in the near future. The 2 people that checked me in and out were very nice. At least we had that on our 2 night stay.

To remedy the wet damp floor we were given old towels to walk on. We travel a lot with softball. By far the worst stay we have had in years.

Be careful if selecting for more than 2 people because the website WILL let you choose a room too small for your group! Our group of 3 had to sleep in 1 queen size bed and eventually kicked a person to an uncomfortable recliner due to lack of space. We thought it must have a pull out couch if it allowed us to pick the room. Management stated that they had no roll aways. After explaining my situation they offered an additional room for my travelers (who are my children ages 9 and 12). The first room was in a different building and the second was next to my room. I still asked if there was any way to just get a room with 2 beds because I didn't think that was safe and the manager asked my oldest age and said \"eh i think it'll be alright.\" We ended up just canceling for the second night and going somewhere else because we didn't think it was safe. The atmosphere was a CLUSTER! We were not able to use one set of stairs because apparently the sprinklers were going off. The room had ants in the kitchen and the staff at the front were less than helpful with any issue. Would NOT recommend this hotel.
