The hotel was under a major renovation as of Oct 2023. The rooms were dated, which is okay. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable. There wasn't much offered for the complimentary breakfast. I am sure this place will be a nice place to stay when finished. This hotel is a bargain compared to the surrounding area hotels.

So my girlfriend and I booked the research park west in king size bedroom for metallica weekend. One of the reasons why I booked this hotel is that I wanted to be able to go swimming and use a hot tub. Once I got there, the hot tub was out of commission the laundry room was closed and the workout room was out of commission and closed. We stayed there one night in room 113. There were multiple problems in the room. The bed was broken and the room had multiple stains on the carpet and on all the furniture with multiple. cuts in the fabric. We got moved to a different room room 407. This room was a little bit better. The bed was wasn’t broken and but there were multiple stains on the furniture and on the curtains, and the air conditioner with the grate was broken. The only reason why we stayed there as long as we did is we had already paid for it and there was nowhere else available. So on the second to last night we come home really late take a shower and my girlfriend lays in the bed and 20 minutes later she has bedbug bites on her arm back and stomach and chest. We went to the front desk to complain. They were just apologetic, but they prorated a refund and I felt that that was not good enough. We went home washed everything we brought with us twice and super hot water. Call the manager earlier today and could not understand a word he said because his accent was so thick. and he says he was going to call his manager and have them call me. I’m still waiting to hear them.

I wish I would have read the reviews about this place like I normally would. We only stayed here for one night and it was very disappointing. The entire place was under renovations, our room had stains all over the furniture and carpet. The bedsheets and all the towels also had some kind of stain. The shower had pink mold and the toilet barely flushed. Online had advertised that they had a hot tub. We went to check the pool area out and not only did they NOT have a hot tub, both of their small pools were GREEN with MOLD on the bottom! The entire place was filthy and nobody is trying to keep up with it.

WORST HOTEL EVER

This was by far the WORST hotel i have ever stayed in. Without going into the whole agonizing story that me and my wife went through, I'll just stick to the basics. It was nothing like the pictures for starters, they are under a major renovation, the ENTIRE hotel is just absolutely disgusting, the floors are filthy, the black mold was horrible, there was chewed up gum on the sheets we were supposed to sleep on, the bathroom was nastier than any hotel bathroom i have ever been in to the point we couldnt even use the shower, even the hall ways were disgusting. And to top it all off, when we came back to our room that evening after being out all night, the fire sprinkler was pouring water out of it and had a decent puddle right in the middle of the room, which looked to be an on going issue because there were stains on the floor where it had been leaking previously and the ceiling had been cut open and patched recently. Then there is the customer service issue, dont expect anything out of them, they cant understand what you say and you wont be able to understand what they say. Nothing but foreigners that cant hardly speak english. Not once did they apologize for anything that happened or even offer a discount for such a horrible experience. So after all that, pretty much what Im saying is spend the extra money and stay somewhere decent because i promise you will not be happy.

Fridge didnt work, missing light bulbs ... torn furniture.. grose floors.. curtains torn partially down but Worst of all BED BUGS!! I woke up at 4am with a huge one on me .. full of my blood, .. we pulled back the mattress and just nasty nests of them. I am disgusted.

The hotel was under extreme renovation. There must have been a good hotel there at one time. There was a bug in the pool. The carpet was stained. Im sure once theyre finished with the renovation it will be a lot better. We asked for fresh towels and they forgot. The staff was friendly.

There is major construction being done at the property. We arrived shortly after midnight and was immediately greeted by the front desk manager. Younger gentleman, very polite. Quick and easy check in process. However, when I opened the door to my room and turned on the lights, no less than a dozen roaches scattered. There were larger full-size roaches as well as baby ones, so this appeared to be an ongoing issue and not just a one-off. They were in the tub, in the toilet, on the sink/counter and on the wall. Understandably, I did not go into the room any further. We returned to the front desk immediately and stated we could not stay due to the roach infestation. The gentleman apologized and said that I would receive my refund from Expedia. This did not happen automatically, but after speaking with Expedia who then contacted the hotel, the refund is in process. Hopefully once all of the construction is completed, exterminators will be brought in to clean up this issue.

DON’T! HORRIBLE! DISGUSTING!

We stayed here in June and it was ok, but this time is was disgusting! We switched rooms because even the sheets and sink were dirty! In the new room there was dust everywhere- see photos of the headboard on bed and the tv! The shower curtain was falling out of the wall, nothing had been vacuumed or mopped. We would have moved hotels but we were busy with wedding festivities and couldn’t spare the time. The owners or managers could barely understand or speak English. They never came in to clean the room when we showed them pictures and asked for it to be cleaned. We have stayed in a lot of budget friendly hotels and have never seen anything so disgusting!

Pretty sure when I stayed there 2 years ago they were still under renovation. Had to get rooms switched due to giving us someone else’s room. The new room had dirty sheets. I was really uncomfortable and we had cockroaches crawling on our bags when we checked out in the morning. We also didn’t get breakfasts since they had limited cold breakfasts that was not stocked at all.

At first I thought it was closed and abandoned, no cars in the parking lot. Walked in the lobby looked under construction, but it was after 6pm so I carried on with my in door picnic plan for a romantic evening,
… the room? It had a bed. The tv worked. But the pool and hot tub not working, everything was dirty. Not horrible dirty but not good , the hotel is completely run down and the pictures on line are fakes from either another website or another time. We left after eating the takeout I brought and watching the football game . Did not take our shoes off. But if you need a place to crash? It’s safe. And the bed was made . Better than living outside.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I recognize that they're renovating, but that doesn't excuse that they have just let the hotel deteriorate so badly. The outside pool was closed on a hot September long weekend. There's only one elevator of the two that works and the fire warning about taking the stairs is taped to the panel. Someone has drawn, on the inside of the door, in the dirt, a big heart. The floor of the elevator doesn't look like it's been cleaned in a very long time too. In my room, the carpet was so dirty that you didn't dare walk anywhere without your shoes on. The TV did not work. The fridge didn't close, didn't cool and had insects inside. The TV screen and every mirror was streaked and filthy, in desperate need of a good cleaning. The bathtub had head hair, pubic hair and whiskers in it, with a long string of hair hanging from the soap dish. In the morning when I turned on the light insects scampered away to hide. I stepped on a few because I was wearing my shoes. There was no daily housekeeping service and the bed was not made and the insects were still on the floor and the hair was still in the bathtub. Read other reviews about the breakfast. I didn't check it out. Location is not near anything. No vending machines.

So it appears the hotel is Still under renovations. We stayed here Aug of 2020 and again Sept of 2023. One ice machine for the entire building. The hot tub was colder then the pool. The Inside pool is 12ft by 8ft and both were green. The outside pool looked lovely but was closed and had not been open all summer. I picked this location to have the option of inside or outside pool(I should have called to check)Room smelt like old man cologne and the TV does not have streaming options and limited cable. I asked front desk for scissors and she said there were not any in the building. 'breakfast' was stale trix, mini muffins, powdered doughnuts, yogurt, rice crispy treats, milk and sunny D. My kids asked me if the hotel was closing with how bad everything was. It honestly has so much potential to be a great hotel but it is so far gone perhaps its been given up on.

This is a former Wyndham hotel, which is undergoing a slow renovation by it's new owners. The new owners are very nice, but progress is slow. Don't expect a perfect property. Each room has it's own issues.

Bugs in the rooms. The hotel is under construction and trying to remain open. But bugs have gotten into the rooms. My husband had an allergic reaction so they know about the problem and are attempting to treat the problem. My husband is allergic to chemicals that treat these investing. Once the construction is done and the bugs are gone I'm sure it will be very nice.

Foul smell in the room

This is worst place to stay. The bathroom lock is not working, and there is no shower cloth.

One significant issue I encountered was a persistent foul smell in my room. Despite efforts to ventilate and air the room out, the smell remained, and it impacted the overall comfort of my stay.

There are flies in the room.

the hotel staff is unfriendly and unprofessional.

This stay was different in that the first room we received was still not ready so the hotel clerk upgraded our room to a suite. The suites are nicer than the regular rooms. The pictures on the website are partly accurate except for the fact that the place is much dirtier than is pictured. They are going through a renovation - had a story about Hilton buying them (they were affiliated with best western). The entry was cooled but once you left the area it was stifling hot. It was dirty - the entire hotel. Many items in the room were old or broken. The AC did work - the floors were stained and I wasn’t positive if they had been cleaned before we arrived. This place looked like a family run hotel. The workout room is as pictured but dirtier. The pictures must have been touched up because there wasn’t much in that place that was clean. Forget the breakfast in the breakfast is included price. Drywall is exposed waiting to be finished. They really should shut this place down and not allow guests to stay overnight until the renovation is completed. I will be complaining to Hilton if that is even a true story. I spent one night and we got the heck out of there. Dirty and old - and it was in a secluded area. It made you wonder if the area was safe to walk around. We had a dog with us who would need to go outdoors several times. I wasn’t feeling 100% safe.

The guy at the check in didn’t have any idea of what was going on, and was picking his nose while holding my ID. He kept saying that Expedia wasn’t taking my reservation and that my card wasn’t going through, even though I showed him the email and read him my confirmation number. When we got to the room there were stains on the top sheet and bad water marks on the tables. The room didn’t have any usb outlets, and the toilet handle was hanging outside of the toilet, but did flush. The next morning, we went to breakfast and there was an ant crawling on the chocolate chip muffin wrapper.

Unexpectedly under construction

The hotel was under construction and we were not made aware of this before our stay. It was mostly clean and okay but the entire place felt like it was in disarray with an elevator not working, mold in the bathtub, doors not fully closing to the bathroom, gouges out of the walls, and paint and repair items everywhere even on the floors holding the guests. I think this all wouldn't have been as jarring if I had been made aware of it ahead of time.

Construction was more important than guests!!!

Upon approaching the hotel, the entire front was covered in scaffolding. Loose boards dangerous for any guests let alone children. Entering the check in every area was being worked on with construction. Our room was normal, except for the window was cracked and had huge gaping holes and exposed broken glass. When I checked in, the hotel knew I had two small children with me this was an extremely hazardous room. Breakfast was in the hallway of the construction everything was cold. The temperature inside the refrigerator read 50° where they kept sausage biscuits. This refrigerator temperature was dangerously too hot. There were ants in the cereal container. Overall, this stay was horrible.

We didn’t get the room we were supposed to. We were supposed to go get a King bed and a pullout and we had to go up front after we were put in a room that wouldn’t work. Construction was going on, no mention of that. Construction was going on everywhere, parking lot was a mess, had to park further away because of construction vehicles. This wasn’t a good stay. We were not happy about this stay. No sheet for the pullout bed was available after we moved rooms. My wife could smell dog poop in the room in the middle of the night, because they let pets in.

I do not recommend this hotel. Property is not advertised correctly.
This hotel is under construction around the exterior, including building facade, outdoor pool and in the lobby. Upon check in, the complimentary breakfast is mentioned that it’s a “cold breakfast.” Outdoor pool was closed. On the interior, doors require repair, walls need to be professionally painted, and could use a massive cleaning. We arrived and after going upstairs to our room, immediately left and requested refund.

The room itself was very comfortable, although the microwave was broken. Just before I arrived (15 minutes) the desk called me to cancel my reservation because of a broken water line; I did not have time to book another room, so I stayed regardless, going to work without a shower or shave. Two days later, the cleaning staff broke into my room; I told them to leave. An older gentleman (I'll assume he was a manager) brought another young man with him, I assume to intimidate me. It was all very unnecessary; I would never stay at this facility again, even if it were free.

Needs a little work

The stay was okay. The air conditioner in our room didn’t work. There was slamming doors all night long. However the kindness of the workers were great they were trying to control the situation except did nothing about the air conditioner. They’re going under construction so I’m hoping that’s why I said it wasn’t good. They do need to work on more of their remodeling.

Pool is so small and so dirty so is the hot tub. Staff was rude, I asked for pool towels and was told he had already given me 15 towels (I hadn’t been to the pool yet, it was our first day) unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. No one was at the front desk most of the time either. It was smelly and our room was covered in dust from construction. If that wasn’t enough there was something going on right outside our window at 6am on scaffolding. Just a bad experience overall but I could get over most of it except the rudeness.

I do understand that they are remodeling, but that is no excuse for the vent in the bathroom covered in dust, exposed wires in the bed area above the TV, bathtub/shower has rust stains, and last what they call the breakfast is questionable. Will not try again.

Under construction for 4 years now. Nothing has changed
Pool now closed when its 90 out. Had to change room twice due to smoke alarm going off. Elevator broken and breakfast is now powdered donuts and microwave sausage biscuits from 1995. Never staying here again. Shame, cuz its a great location...quiet and close to all.
