The property is in a relatively secluded location nested in a business park, which is nice. We found the staff to be helpful and courteous. The rooms were outdated, and we had only a few sheets of toilet paper when we checked into our room, as well as only one trash can that was by the window. Should you need to dispose of anything from the bathroom, you have to walk it all the way out of the bathroom to the desk. The rooms have shared doorways for families, which presented two issues for us: the guest next door was up until 5am watching TV loudly and conversating, to which we could pretty much hear all of, and the guest was smoking in their room, which seeped through the shared door. We weren't particularly thrilled with smelling cigarette smoke throughout the night; after telling the front desk, they were friendly but said they would let the manager know in the morning. That unfortunately doesn't do a ton to help us during our one night stay, but again, I don't know what they personally would have done. It appeared the manager was standing and chatting at the checkout the next morning, and it may have been nice if they had spoken with us about the stay, but alas. This hotel could be solid with an update, attention to detail and some type of policy in place to ensure guests are taken care of.

The lobby and public downstairs areas were well maintained and clean. All of the staff were friendly. The room however, was a bit different. It seemed to me like the turnover was only partially complete. The ice bucket was full of water, the vents full of dust and the previous occupant's cards were still laying on the desk. The TV displayed a random name (not ours), the coffee maker was dirty, with used cup lids. The 5th floor ice maker was Full of mold, had to travel to the 8th floor to find a cleaner ice maker. There were no towels, I had to request them. The room was very small and the TV was so laggy it was hard to navigate with the remote.

Summary: staff and amenities were great, but the room seemed only partially cleaned, the ice makers were full of mold, no towels in the room and some unwiped areas. Very unclean vents. Overall not satisfactory for the amount of money spent.

All of the staff were extremely nice and the lobby had tons of good meet up spaces, but the room wasn't amazing. I stayed here 20 years ago and remember the rooms feeling a little dated. Nothing has changed since then. Aside from that, it did feel clean and I did sleep well all three nights. I would pass on the breakfast - seemed out of basic items most mornings, like eggs, fruit, etc., but maybe I just picked the wrong time to go.

Overall great place to stay really-

Checking in was quick and simple- front desk staff were great. Good parking options as well felt like a secure area-including a covered parking garage. Room was definitely good but when my wife went to take a shower there was no shower curtain. It was 1145pm (we checked in late) and she was too tired to bother calling the front desk. Bed was comfortable and that helped.
In the morning we went to have breakfast at the restaurant but after waiting approximately 10 minutes and seeing no one to help or seat anyiobe, and two other couples had gotten in line behind us, we gave up and decided to grab food on the road as we needed to head out.
Guessing they must have been short staffed, which does occur, but just left this stay feeling lackluster compared to what we are accustomed to at a Marriott.

I wanna start by saying that the check-in process was pretty simple and the front desk was friendly. I had a few issues along the way. One is I realize that I booked with the breakfast (otherwise you have to pay $20 per person). I had to pay the first day and then after breakfast, I had went up to the front and they said they made a mistake when they checked me in and then gave me complementary cards used for the rest of my stay. But no offer to rectify the fact that I had to pay because of a mistake they made. The rooms are in desperate need of updates. The shower curtain in my bathroom was all torn and you could tell it has been there for a long time. The hotel host a lot of conferences, so it was very loud all night long. The elevators had long waits, it would take 25 to 30 minutes to get on the elevator, and the stairs are not accessible For the price that I paid, I was not pleased. The location though was great. The pools were very small for the amount of people that stay in that hotel at any given weekend. It is not a hotel I would stay at again in the future.

The room was very dirty, small things like lots of grime build up in corners of the room. Neither phones worked. No toilet paper. TV had fuzzy lines. Stains on the walls.
Overall sloppy maintenance & poor housekeeping l.
Workout room & Indoor pool were functional but not wel maintained.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND if looking for a decently cleaned hotel.

It was near where we needed to be. There were soccer teams staying on our floor with chaperones in the hallway talking. The walls are so thin that I could hear full conversations and our neighbors sneezing. It’s past time for a serious overhaul of this property.

The property was excellent, the people at reception were friendly and efficient. What was lacking was housekeeping. I recently stayed for four days and only had the room partially cleaned after asking for two days to have housekeeping. Finally, on the third day, the person appeared after asking the desk person again. The air conditioner had to be fixed twice, but finally worked.

unfortunately they had an A/C problem with the water system and it created a soaked carpet problem some 3x3 foot area. After the first day they addressed the problem it dropped back to just damp carpet.
On the great side, my wife loved the bed. She felt very comfortable.

in a quiet business district. hotel was well maintained, Starbucks on campus, free cold bottled water, etc. Rooms were large, with all the standard features including plenty of outlets and USB charging ports etc. Bedding as usual was top notch. Only issue was there was coffee maker hidden inside the cupboard without any other supply for making coffee, perhaps to encourage use of the on campus Starbucks. No microwave in the room.

Why the unnecessary hassle

I was a little disappointed in the hotel. I’ve stayed there in past and lived nearby so would meet friends there. It is amount the the most expensive hotels in St. Louis and would expect that level of performance. The bar personnel were friendly and efficient the desk people not so much. Check in went ok but when I got to the room I found the phone on the desk along wit the charger did not work. On my way to the bar I. Stopped and asked the desk to get it fixed and borrow a charger. The female clerk was not able to anything because they did not have a charger for my I phone but she would get maintainence to look at it. Got back from dinner and still no charger. Called desk and male clerk informed me that none of the chargers in the hotel worked but if I came down he would get me one. He was not able to have delivered. At your price level one would expect the hotel to inform you that the chargers don’t work and offer an alternative, at check in. Why the unnecessary hassle?

The property was nice and clean. My room looked clean and was comfortable. My only complaint was that I don’t think the a/c in my room was working properly. When I got to my room the thermostat was set to 60°, yet it still felt a bit warm. I was with two other travelers and visited both of their rooms and their rooms were nice and cool with their thermostats being set between 65 and 68, so there there had to have been an issue with mine. Also, in the middle of the night I woke up the the a/c making a loud rattling noise that prevented me from going back to sleep. It wasn’t even worth asking to switch rooms because upon arrival they told me they were completely booked, so I didn’t even bother trying.

Clean, decent room size & layout, comfortable bed. Wifi was acceptably fast (standard Marriott 15Mbps) and pretty reliable.

Shower was a bit finicky to get the right temperature, but plenty of water pressure and temperature consistency.

Very little noise from outside - just the pool really, which wasn't much of an issue on the 7th floor anyway - but the walls, ceiling, and door to the hallway were all pretty acoustically transparent. Not a huge amount of noise from them overall, but enough to be a little annoying.

Your hotel was beautiful and very staff friendly. Our AC did not work correctly but was fixed ASAP. The best lounge area ever. Lots of activity and just a fun place to be.
One huge issue....at 11:30pm the guests next to us were so loud, kept us awake with hallway noise and room noise. Adults and children voices were just terrible. Did not complain since I did not know who I might be dealing with next door.

The property around the hotel is beautiful and allows you to get out of your room and into nature a bit. I just felt like the hotel was very dated. It wasn't signed very well so it was confusing to get places inside the hotel. Our room had very few convenient plug ins (such as near both sides of the bed) and the room itself was not extremely clean when we arrived.

We booked two rooms for a single night: one room smelled liked sewer gas and the other was hot even with the air conditioning running. The woman at the front desk said only one of the rooms could switch due to the amount of bookings that night so we had to choose between sewer gas and too hot. The new room smelled like weed as did many of the hallways. Parking was also quite difficult with very very limited parking.

Unfortunately the room I had had multiple hairs in the bed/mattress, also around the shower, and even on the ceiling above the shower. There was quite a bit of dirt, grime and hair in the corner near the edges of the flooring where it meets the tub.

The refrigerator wasn’t functioning and had mold inside.

In my friend’s room, there were multiple half eaten dorito chips still in the room, amongst other issues that shows the rooms aren’t cleaned thoroughly between guests.

Cleanliness is always a concern when traveling, and unfortunately this experience was very disappointing and to honest, quite gross.
