Perfect for a little flavor of Germany!

Great property! Restaurant has vegan options. A few corrections to the description, though: It is not 9 min from the airport; it’s 20 min. And it’s not 6 min to the castle but 8 min. We stayed here during an overnight layover. Perfect to see a bit of Germany! The late medieval castle is fun to walk around. There are a couple of cute restaurants/bars right in the square, surrounded by old timber houses.

First time at this hotel in years. It has been updated over time, which is nice. The bar opens at 6 pm six days a week. There is a 10 Euro per hour charge for early check in.

We stayed on a business trip from Mon to Fri at a busy period. We found it clean and reasonably friendly (not exactly super friendly welcomes and smiles) Bar and dinning area was very good and breakfast was good although a little expensive.Its not a great location as nothing else in easy walkable distance.

We were going to a concert, so the hotel was great for that, it is also close to the station so that you can go into Frankfurt centre to explore, the breakfast is very expensive in the hotel but there are a few cafes close to the station to pick up breakfast and a coffee

Good stay and hotel

Hotel is next to tram, bus and trains. So easy going around. There’s a nice restaurant/ bar but inly opens 3pm+. Rooms and lobbies are spacious and well equipped. The only thing I would say they need to improve was carpet everywhere and room windows let cold and noise pass through.

The first room I was given did smell like it had been sprayed with some industrial strength cleaner. When I complained I was offered an upgrade but I was told I would need to pay 10 Euros which I refused. I was then offered another room without any further cost and this new room had no problems at all. It's a shame that they first asked me to pay for the other room when clearly the original room was not fit for purpose - whatever was used to clean the room was making my eyes water.

However, this is my only complaint because in general I found the staff at reception and the restaurant to be very hospitable and I did enjoy my stay.

Frankfurt vacation

Initially I was planning to stay at the Lindner Congress Hotel 2 days because I knew it was close to the Jahrhundrethalle Performance Arts Center. I extend my stay for 2 extra days! It is in the outskirts of Frankfurt and much more affordable than being in the middle of the city. From the Zuckschwerdtstrasse I rode the bus 3 short stops to the Jahrhundrethalle and the electric streetcar into the Romer historic area and really enjoyed it. It was so convenient. Parking my rental car in the garage was much more affordable, and the parking spaces were bigger than others I had found on my 2 week vacation in Germany.

There were no outlets free near the bed or at the desk. Where are you meant to plug in a computer or phones? I had to charge them on the floor near the front door or in the bathroom.

Hotel had those awful squeeze soap/shampoo dispensers in the bathroom. Only gave 2 towels, no face cloths, had to ask for more towels.

After booking a double room I walked into a twin room, after ringing reception the receptionist argued this and stated that her paper work stated Twin Room. I explained that my itinerary showed as Double Room which she replied I will send up someone to push the beds together! Excellent customer service.

After waiting for 10 minutes we decided to do this ourselves, when the help eventually arrived we asked for him to hoover the floor where the bed had originally been as it was filthy.

Everything else was fine however I feel the underground parking is far too expensive, €20 per day even if you take your car out all day.

Nice hotel for quick visit or stay

The hotel is very nice with wonderful staff. Our room was clean and well-kept. You can tell there is an older (not quite outdated) feel to the hotel, but was nice nonetheless. The bar in the hotel was nice to grab a quick drink or dinner at. The basic internet isn't the most reliable, but you have the option to upgrade to a paid version.

The only negative is that the area around the hotel is disappointing. There isn't much in the area for food/drink/activities outside of the Altstadt Höchst and it's castle. I would also recommend avoid using the main train station and taking a cab. It is currently under construction and seems to be frequently vandalized.

If you're looking for a quick stay before a flight and maybe a couple trips to the city of Frankfurt, I would definitely recommend the hotel. Overall, we were happy with our visit.

Thsi hotel was listed as a hotel near Frankfurt airport by Travelocity and that is why I booked it but when I got to the airport, I foud out I had to pay about 35 Euros to get to the hotel and anotehr 35 to get back to the airport for an 8 hour stay. I was very disappointed at Travelocity which included this hotel near airport.

Be aware! No hotel shuttle!

I called from the airport and learned that the hotel has no shuttle but worse it is really far away from the airport, aproximately 25 minutes by taxi! There is no real public transportation to the hotel. You would need to change from train to bus and walk 10 minutes. The staff is professional, not particularly friendly. If you need to stay, although I recommend to shop for another more convenient hotel, you should make reservation with breakfast. Internet is free but very slow. You need to pay extra for high speed internet. All in all a quite dissapointing experience, not only because of the distance to the airport. Its a very basic hotel and in my opinion overrated with 4 stars.

Wonderful, helpful staff, excellent chef and breakfast staff, friendly evening bar staff. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Just a little dark. Beds were comfortable.

Good hotel, except the air conditioning was out

We booked this hotel on short notice during a \"follow your nose\" trip around southeastern Germany. The staff was friendly, the bed comfortable and the environment quite, which are the most important characteristics for me. Unfortunately, it was a muggy night and the air conditioner was blowing warm air, despite the thermostat's having been set at about 10 deg. C before our arrival. The warm, humid conditions made it a bit hard to sleep.

Fantastic hotel but odd location

Everything about this hotel was ideal, except the location. It's about a 30-minute tram ride to downtown. The surrounding neighborhoods are a little rundown so it's sort of an odd location for such a nice hotel. Service and amenities were fantastic. I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind being a bit outside of downtown Frankfurt.

We checked in at 6pm and left 8am the following morning so not much time for staying in and enjoying the room. The room was really nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable - although for a Arctic Circle Swede the comforter was too thick and warm and I was unable to lower the room temperature.
We came to town for a DMB-concert and this hotel was conveniently located to Jahrhunderthalle (by cab). The Strassebahn (tram) station was located just behind the hotel and the airport is 45 minutes away with public transportation.

Comfort and cleanliness in a modern hotel.

It was a relief to find our hotel looked so good, including the room, after arriving late at night feeling rather exhausted! Considering the 20 minute drive by taxi to an \"airport hotel\", and the very ordinary looking surrounding neighborhood, I had my doubts where and what we had booked! The room was beautifully quiet, clean modern big bathroom, crisp fresh bedding in a very large room, made for a wonderful relaxing nights sleep. An early morning half hour tram ride (virtually at the door) to the main railway station where an hour long city tour could be completed before our flight home that afternoon made for a rather pleasant \"flying visit\" to Frankfurt!

As always the Lindner Hoechst met all of my expectations. The receptionist got me the room I wanted overlooking the Taunus mountains, Bit of a problem with heating the room, so a heater was sent up immediately, found out afterwards some experts had been hired and now the heating system will have to be looked at. All staff are always friendly and so willing to help you with whatever. Also find tram, about 50m from hotel entrance, very useful to get into Frankfurt.

No airport shuttle service!

Beware travelers! This hotel does not offer shuttle service to the airport (they have a bus but only available for pilots!). Cost us $25.00 each way by taxi. All the other hotels in the area offer FREE shuttle to airport. Restaurant food was disappointing and staff not welcoming. Wi Fi costs were extra. No complimentary breakfast. Would not recommend this hotel.

The best option around Hochst Haupbanhof

The room I rented was called a \"first-class\" room, and I was glad that I went through Expedia rather than directly with the hotel company, as the savings was huge! And, I would have felt really ripped off otherwise.

The first-class room for us was non-smoking, had two single beds, and two simple lounge chairs. It was the size of an average American hotel outside of a major city. The bathroom was an adequate size as well.

On their Web site, it stated that the mini-bar was complimentary for first-class rooms; this was not the case. Also, there was no guest information book in the room, so it was hard to find out what the hotel offered. And, the room smelled a bit musty every time we entered despite leaving on the air conditioner. Furthermore, someone else's body hair was in the in the shower. Ick.

Having said all of that, my flight arrived very early in the morning, and the clerk allowed me to check-in as soon as my room was ready. I really appreciated this kindness.

Nice hotel, terrible food

This is a perfectly nice, reasonably-priced business hotel not too far from FRA airport and with good public transport connections to the city centre. The rooms are large, well-equipped and comfortable. The only downside is the food. The \"Bavarian\" restaurant has poor service and even worse food (my colleague from Munich agreed that they would not get away with serving this standard of food in his home town). We tried it 2 nights in a row and both experiences were dismal. Luckily there are a number of decent restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Unfortunately a good majority of the lobby was under renovation so it was very loud in the hotel. The facility in general was very nice with very secure parking. (Downside: the parking is very expensive.) Make sure to check ALL the extra fees for this hotel (WIFI, parking, breakfast, etc...). The rooms in this hotel were very clean and well presented. They also had our roll-away bed in the room and made when we arrived which was a pleasant surprise. The only thing we could really complain about was the AC in the room. We do think ours was functioning properly, but we couldn't tell for sure. We did have to leave our door to the hallway open and our window open to have a steady air flow. Even with the minor inconveniences, in general the hotel was a pleasant stay.

I've stayed at Lindner hotels before and have come to expect good things from them. They seem to hire polite and efficient staff and usually offer great value. However, this particular hotel has seen better days. It could use a renovation in all areas, including rooms. The bathroom is poorly ventilated meaning it smells of humidity. Finally, even though to be fair they did announce from the beginning there are charges for this, I find the practice of charging for WiFi in a business hotel to be simply ridiculous. No one today would accept to be charged separately for toilet paper or electricity in the room. By now, WiFi is similarly essential...

OK, but I'd try a different hotel next time.

As a non-smoker it was obvious to me that I was in a smoking room - other than that the hotel was fine barring the usual costs of wireless internet (10 euros a day) and breakfast (over 20 euros) which I feel should be included in the price. It always seems the case that the more expensive the hotel the less you get by way of included options.
I would stay there again if needed, but I'd probably try some other local hotels first to see if it was the best option.

The Congress is a little dated but it's clean and tidy. Wireless internet is available but horribly slow and breakfast is very expensive. Very convenient location for the industrial park and not much choice in the immediate area!

The room rate was 3-4 times what I'd consider reasonable (though prices may have been unusually high due to a conference this week). Breakfast also seemed to cost about twice what I'd expect (though I didn't try it, so can't comment on the food). The room was mostly clean and in decent repair, but the bath took 20 minutes to drain after a 5 minute shower, and the heating controls seemed to make no difference to the temperature of the air coming out of the vent.

Other than the fact that I personally don't consider this hotel particularly \"convenient\" to the airport, it was an impeccable stay for the layover night I was there. Great food, excellent waitstaff, very professional front desk - and spotlessly clean, as expected. I am pleased to now have a first choice layover hotel when flying through frankfurt!

More pros than cons: Very helpful and courteous staff. Quiet neighborhood close to bus and Tram system. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Hotel Name was not the same as the cardboard Lindner Congress sign, so perhaps it had recently changed hands. There are two buildings separated by a parking lot. I was assigned a 7th floor room in 2nd the building across the parking lot. There was no phone in the room, in my opinion a safety concern. Perhaps the inoperative elevator is a hopeful sign they might be renovating. I hope so! Booking system said only one room left, but hotel was virtually empty.

hopelessly overpriced

I had to change my travel plans a few days before my stay and had to be in Hoechst the next morning. I could not find any nearby hotel and ended up booking this one at four times the regular price. It is a average hotel, and this price is in no way justified. I understand that we live in capitalism, but there should be a limit as to how you can take advantage of people that have to make changes to their hotel bookings.

Good Airport Hotel

We found this hotel to be a good place to overnight and, in our case, spend a day before taking a flight out of the airport. The hotel is very comfortable with good foor services both at breakfast and for afternoon and evening meals. It looks to be primarily a convention hotel but does cater to individual travellers.
It was a good sign to see so many air crews staying there. Unfortunately the shuttle service caters only to them but the local taxi service was quick and convenient.
The neighbourhood is a typical working neighbourhood in Frankfurt with many shops catering to locals just a block away. If you want a slice of real local life you can't go wrong by strolling around. We definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

As always I find the lindner in

As always I find the lindner in Hoechst very good for location close to airport and also shops in walking distance from the hotel. The hotel itself also does very good meals.
