The hotel has been extended and the reason is clear, very warm, cosy and modern interior with polite staff (mostly women) who tend to your every need. The bar and restaurant are satisfactory for week long stays. Affordable and delicious! The rooms are modern and spacious with beautiful views and its a short taxi ride to the two closest times and the port. Would reccomend highly

Socket hanging out the wall, towels were stained and frayed, walls were dirty and path had literally caved into a massive hole and not made safe at all.

This was a business trip where I was required to have a stable internet connection to be able to work from my room, but unfortunately I was forced to work from elsewhere for 3 days in a row (McDonalds and my family’s house) due to the extremely weak connection.
I reported the issue twice, but the front desk staff was absolutely not interested to provide any assistance or whatsoever looking into this matter. They were blaiming it on the external internet provider and continued to look at their personal cellphone. I was surprised by the attitude!! The second time was even worse as they (3 clerks) were more busy making jokes and laugh rather than assisting one of their guests. I have stayed in other Bastion hotels which in general is a fine chain, but this facility has highly unprofessional staff members.
The lack of service tells a lot about the management, in fact after submitting a complaint through Expedia, the management denied any compensation nor sending me an apology.
The property itself is simple but good… cleaning could be better though, as the room smelled a bit moldy and had a dusty/sandy floor.
Would definitely not stay here again.

Good hotel for a business trip, very close to a metro station. The gym as often in hotels is a small room with few equipments, so don't expect too much. The restaurant is overall good with big portions, although I had to wait a long time to be served on the first evening (but they told me in advance I would have had to wait). The hotel is currently next to a construction site. You will not notice it once you are in the hotel, but just something to note.

One of the worst stays I have ever come across in my life, this hotel must be rated 1 star. Rooms are dirty-smelling bed sheets. The mattress is not comfortable. Hotel service is terrible requested 2 times for room make up no one bother to clean the room when asked by the receptionist she rudely said I don't know and can't help you. The breakfast quality is worst. Never take the breakfast option waste of money. I would give a zero rating terrible place to live. It's more like Hostel not Hotel.

For people who have cars, it's a pretty convenient stay since they have a parking lot. The rooms were clean and they checked every day. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, it sometimes would lose connection or it takes a long time to load something but overall it was a good stay.

Next to a big road interchange but soundproofed if you don't open a window. Seemed pretty basic (deluxe) room for 4☆, twin single beds were small or maybe just me. Nothing wrong just functional I guess. Staff helpful enough. Delonghi coffee maker in room, free coffee in the lobby. Didn't bother with the take a breakfast tray to your room and took a meal up once. Food ok not great. Went to Aldi instead. KFC and Burger King close by if you like that. Close to port so mainly Contractors, who else at the moment!

I'm pretty horrified to be honest, the receptionist gave us one card and offered no indication that there was a vending machine, to think we drove from Italy for a welcome of this caliber

The location is in an industrial zone. So there is nothing around. Room is a bit dusty. I can see clearly piles of dust on the bathroom extractor fan. Others are all fine. And the hotel has its own free parking space.

Expect a long wait for lunch. Also breakfast runs out of food and dishes daily. This hotel caters to bus travelers who swarm the dining area in the morning and like locusts leave little but stubble until the kitchen catches up. That said, the hotel rooms are adequate. I would stay again but eat breakfast early and allow for preparation time at lunch

Hotel is not much to look at from the outside but it is clean and staff is great. Good food in restaurant. Hotel is close to main highway which is why we chose it. Parking is free. Easy to see hotel from highway but hard to locate entrance without GPS. Rooms are not well insulated. Can hear all noises from bathroom and hallway. Bed is not most comfortable but price is right.

We were looking for an inexpensive yet comfortable place to stay while we were in Rotterdam for the North Sea Jazz Festival. This is actually our second year staying here and we didn't see any reason not to stay here again since we only needed a nice place to sleep and shower. I mention the no frills because the amenities like towels and soaps are just that. Didn't bother us at all.

The hotel is placed little away from the city center, but that's not an issue as in 5-10 minutes walking distance is a metro and a train station. Our aim was to find a place next to the highway and it was perfect on that sense. The hotel had everything needed, but that's it, around the hotel (at least up to the train station) was basically nothing. Considering the price then good value.

Clean room on the outskirts of Rotterdam. The room was quiet on the back side of the hotel. Very little in the surrounding area. Metro stop a few hundred meters from the hotel, around twenty minute ride to city center. Staff was nice and helpful.

This hotel is not a good bargain and I was quite dissapointed. Its pretty clean and appear as if it's been recently renovated, but the quality is simply not good. The pillows in the bed are terrible, and despite I had read this in one of the other customer reviews (also negative), I decided to give this hotel a chance - not a clever decision. I cannot recommend this hotel, unless you have a desire to sleep almost next to the Beneluxtunnel, and you can find much better hotels at half the price nearby.

If you need to work at the port or have business near the Vlaardingen Oost station, this hotel is extremely convenient. The rooms are always clean and the check in fast. The beds are small singles but comfortable. The pillow is not good, way too hard... I choose to stay here for work. If you are a tourist, there is nothing to see here.

First I got the feeling since I booked from Expedia that they don't really care about giving a good service knowing that I booked my room earlier, but they give me a room in the first floor without a good view. The beds where 2 single beds instead of double bed Eventhough I told them I was with my wife and she will has her Birthday !!. I asked for extra pillows and after waiting for nearly one hour to get them, I tried to call them on the phone but it wasn't working and then ended up going to the reception to be told that there are no extra pillows available!!! Väldigt stort och fräscht rum med grym A/C. Hotellet har kanske rykte om sig att vara arbetarhotell (och det är det väl) men det passar lika bra för par och familjer. Bra parkering, vänlig personal och nära till Burger King och KFC om man är sugen. Har man bil och vill undvika att leta parkering är det ett bra alternativ!

Een afschuwelijk geluid uit de luchtbehandeling, wat ons de hele nacht heeft wakker gehouden. Heel gehorig qua omgeving, zodra mensen weg gingen hoorde we letterlijk de deuren. De buren waren letterlijk 's nachts te horen. Nog nooit zo beroerd geslapen. Bedden zijn wel goed trouwens. Heel wat te verbeteren. 1e x Bastion, maar viel behoorlijk tegen.

We overnachten hier vaker, altijd zonder ontbijt, ivm familiebezoek. Kwaliteit past bij prijs. Wij vinden het fijn dat er een koelkastje is, en een bureau.
Er staat een koffieautomaat. Waterkoker voor thee moet je wel vragen, maar is ook mogelijk.
