We had booked a courtyard view room, but during the booking process it was not made clear that the rooms were located outside. We were assigned a second-floor room with no elevator access, which made moving our luggage very difficult.

The building itself felt run down, the breakfast was below average, and unfortunately the staff were neither polite nor particularly helpful during our stay.

The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired-no bagels, English muffins-just bread-the eggs were watery-the sausage was cold-not much variety at all. The shuttle feature was nice, but the property needs to be “freshened up”.

The hotel is very conveniently close to the airport with shuttle service. The shuttle service was wonderful. The room is clean but requires maintenance. The shower was either hot or cold and the sink did not drain very well. The electrical outlets on the lamps did not fit plugs for charging devices. Overall the hotel was ok for 1 night stay serving my purpose of a layover to my next stop.

The hotel was just fine for what we needed - somewhere close to the airport for our late night arrival. The room was clean and quiet. Only downside is that breakfast was packed at 7am - hard to find seating and a line for the food. It wasn’t a long wait just something to be aware of. Overall, it met our needs and we would stay again if we had a late night arrival.

Not great unfortunately. The rooms are dated and worn and when you book a courtyard view it’s upstairs, but no elevator. I wish I would have know that, a heads up on the app would have helped. So you have to drag your luggage up the stairs. Would be difficult for older and people with disabilities. We did appreciate the airport shuttle that was a big help

We booked the hotel coming off a cruise, needing to wait for 12 hours before our outbound flight and not wanting to wander around the city. Cost of room for the day was half what excursions were running, plus we could rest in A/C with TV and shower, etc.
Although check in wasn't until 3 pm, the staff worked with us to get into the room by 11 a.m., so wait time wasn't terrible.
My only issue is that restaurant ONLY serves the free breakfast for existing customers and there is no central coffee station in the lobby. However, there is a McDonalds directly behind the hotel (2-minute walk through courtyard, and a few other eatery's also nearby).
Worked out well for our needs, and was very comfortable - no complaints - would stay again.

Parking very accessible, check in was easy. Rooms were clean, and front desk service was great as well when we requested extra towels. Loved the self check out option so we didn’t have to come down to the front desk, just took the elevator to our car and left. My only complaint was that the pool closes too early. Other than that everything was great.

The breakfast was very good. Pool area well kept & pool looked updated. Staff was VERY nice & had the Aloha Spirit.
Only thing i would critique, is the AC needs updated & screens would be nice for the sliding door/windows? And, If you are staying in a room on the freeway side…the traffic is very loud in room.
If you get a really Good $ rate …will prob result in a room with stair access only….on freeway side.

The front desk rep (Cecillia) was outstanding. We arrived 4 hours before chech in. We prepared to sit and wait when I mentioned my husband had just finished medical attention. Without being asked she worked her magic and we got a room immediately. We were flying home the next day and with a 11:00 checkout time we would have been waiting 10 hours at the airport but Cecillia let us remain in the room until 6 pm for a reasonable fee so we arrived at the airport just in time to make our flight which meant my husband coukd remain in bed.

Yes the hotel and furniture are beyond tired (but clean) and yes the freeway noise is definitely there but Cecillia excelled in kindness. Thank you Cecillia.

Room was clean, and everything worked great. TV size was large, shower temperature control was very good, and they cleaned it as requested. Pool was cleaned and water temperature was comfortable, noticed couple edges damaged, and “do not jump into pool” policy not enforced! Continental breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices including large size waffle machines available. Really disappointed with parking fee(EXCESSIVE) which forces customers to use since there us no other safe options in that area (homeless and alcoholic beverages nearby)

This hotel has strong smell of urine, very dirty. The staff is extremely rude, they don’t allow me to ask questions about wifi and even requested me to love out immediately around 2am, they said if I am not happy then I can move our immediately. Unbelievable, don’t go this hotel, it’s a hell!

We needed a place to stay because a flight delay caused us to miss our connecting flight out of Honolulu. The Best Western near the Honolulu Airport was a convenient location for us because it was close to the airport and they offered a free airport shuttle. The staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was a definite plus. If we are in the same situation again, we would not hesitate to stay hear again.

Shuttle to the airport was helpful, but it might be helpful if they ran in the half-hour (not just hourly). Room air conditioning did the job, but is rather noisy. Breakfast was fine—better than some hotel complimentary meals.

Be prepared Parking is $46, they don’t tell you until you’ve already parked and checking in.
Turns a $180 stay into a $226 stay.
Still worth it though.
Nice staff. Good on convenience being close to airport. Beds were comfy and rooms decent. Breakfast was nice as well.
But cmom Hotels.com please be upfront about actual costs. Front desk staff says that it’s noted on their website but third-party operators don’t often share the parking cost.

I Would stay there again if the need arose. Who wants to drive into Waikiki if no need? lol

AC wasn’t working - sent maintenance who said ac was working just needed time (he used his temperature tool to show the vent air was cool (62). I travel with a thermometer (to know temp when thermostat just has high/low settings). The room showed 75 - and was 75 when we woke…. So I guess his tool is broken!

I was surprised how nice this place was. Very clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. We didn’t use the pool but we checked it out and it seems very nice. The airport shuttle was a little confusing and slow to arrive but I’m grateful it exists. You can walk from the airport to the hotel in less than 20 mins if you don’t want to wait for the shuttle.

It's a basic airport hotel. When you book with Hotels.com (Expedia) you get a room in the rear overlooking the access road that is very loud. There is no elevator so you have to carry your bags up the stairs. The staff admits it's a terrible room but those are the cheapest ones and they give them to Expedia bookings.. Stayed twice and got the same area. Staff is very nice - even held our phone that had been left in the room till we got back to HNL.

I had read previous reviews, so knew there would be traffic noise, there are 3 levels of traffic and did hear noise all night long. Extremely dated facility, old musty smell to the room, breakfast food was poor, eggs were cold, items not refilled. The airport shuttle was extremely late and terribly overcrowded at pick up. Despite the hotel having guests arrive 10 minutes early for airport drop off, the shuttle was 15 minutes late in picking up guests for airport drop off. Overall experience was poor and would not recommend this hotel.

Room was nasty moist smell and slider leaked. Location was terrible noisy. No elevator looked like an old outdoor hotel. Breakfast was good. Ride situation was difficult to figure out. I would not recommend it.
