Breakfast was not included although it stated that when I booked. Also no microwaves in rooms. Microwave is located on another floor. Check in was not a smooth process. The lady at the front desk by the name of Annamarie was rude. I report her to the manager. The manager Sandra was very helpful and professional. She is really why I gave this place 5 stars. She took care of us and provided a more positive experience. I had to leave one day early due to my mother being hospitalized. They refunded us for one night stay. I did not like the policy on the deposit. Each night is $100.00 deposit. I booked for 6 nights which was $ 600 for the deposit. Most properties is one flat rate for the deposit regardless of the how many nights or $ 50 dollars per night deposit.

my boyfriend and i stayed here and had a wonderful time. they have a pool party on saturdays that was so much fun and the restaurant on property, favorite son was good too. it’s a good location and walking distance to the strip. 8/10

Our stay here was great! Only thing is it seemed like there was no AC so on the 17th floor it tended to get very very warm in the room and bathroom. Would be great to have a ventilation system in the bathroom as well. Other than that all was good!

Basic accommodation, not value for money, dislike paper cup for hot drinks, no glasses available for wine etc reception could not provide any glasses at all - noisy room from street and entertainment from other hotels nearby (maybe they should upgrade to double glazing) in Australia I would consider this a $100 motel. The hotel name includes the wording “Hilton” let me tell you this is not a Hilton hotel!!

Location is a close walk to Waikiki Beach, restaurants, and shops. The room itself was decent, but more on the older side. Fitness center’s small could probably only comfortable fit 3 people and there were no towels provided. They do provide fitness classes in the pool area. Overall, it was okay but not sure if it’s worth the price.

Room cleaned every 2nd day however staff were happy to top up as required with towels etc.
The shower temperature was difficult to adjust too… a long time to reach lukewarm water or no hot water at all.

Comfortable, affordable, well located hotel in Waikiki, a short walk from the beach. The front desk staff was accommodating. The only thing that worked on the TV was YouTube, all the other apps did not work, none of the channels worked. Fortunately we didn’t go there to watch TV but would have been nice to have it on the rainy days, and while we were packing.

Everything about this hotel was great except the shower. The shower head was leaking, and the water pressure was low. There was no ventilation. There were no drawers or chairs in the room. But the room was very good overall compared to other hotels in this price range.

Hotel was great - clean, super comfortable beds. Basic city noise at night and the rooster in the parks rises early but it was a part of the experience. Beds are super comfortable and the view was stunning!

Braelynn at Favourite SON (the restaurant) absolutely made our evening gatherings fantastic! She made sure we had everything we needed, going above and beyond every time! She was fantastic!!

The breakfast crew was a bit slow and disorganized but the food was really good and the portion sizes very decent (we shared meals there).

Walkable to the beach and a great selection of restaurants. Can't wait to visit again!

Our family had a great stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly at the front desk and the restaurant. We enjoyed our daily breakfast at the hotel that was included in our package, and found it to be of great value. They cleaned the room every 2 days but serviced it when we requested for it. Our kids enjoyed the pool as well.

The room was clean but SMALL there is nowhere to sit except the bed. The “resort” fees are stupid and the 50+ dollars per night to park. The restaurant attached isn’t great. Not a great selection and the service was shabby at best. It wasn’t even busy when we were there. The hotel staff were very nice. I asked them to bring a chair to my room and they brought it within 15 mins. Very friendly. Plan ahead If you want to get your car early it will be a wait!

I just want to start off with saying the valet was great! We stayed at this hotel last year and that was a really nice experience which is why we came again. However, this time around will be the last. Starting off, our first room ended up having bugs, silverfish in particular, which we seen in the bathroom and in the sleeping area. Not great as they are gross. They did switch us rooms after we noticed more than one. Next room had zero soundproofing and with it being high wind we could hear the wind whistling through our room and shaking the door which didn’t go right down to the ground and it was extremely loud. The room also has little hairs all over place, particularly in the bed, pillows, bathroom sink, shower, and all around the toilet and baseboards. Didn’t feel clean. Then, our last night there the hotel was hosting a “Pretty in Pink” party which is something I would’ve expected from an adult-only resort as the attire or lack there of is something you’d see at adult shows and not a resort with children. They screamed over a loud speaker and partied for hours which we listened to after our morning and afternoon out. Unable to use the pool facilities with our kids during after or after as it was a mess and felt gross as no idea what exactly took place down there. Did not want my kids in the pool following that. If I wanted a party hotel I would’ve book that, I wanted rest and relaxation which didn’t get much of that at this hotel. I do not recommend.

The hotel was excellent. The room was well laid out and cleaning every other day was perfect. We had a suite with a king bed located on the 2nd Floor. This location was great for our family of 4 (one senior, one child and two adults) as the pool was on the third floor and there was easy stair and elevator access. The elevators came quickly too. The location was close to the Waikiki strip (5 min walk) but far enough away to be less noisy. Overall, I would return with my family and recommend to others.

Overall the experience was good. Check in was easy. Room was ready and rooms are up to date with new design/ colors. However, the walls of the rooms are thin and we could hear our neighbors. Front desk was prompt to get the noise down once we called them. Parking is not easy to find so valet in only option.

We were excited to visit Hawaii for the first time at a 4-star Hilton hotel in Waikiki before we departed.

When we arrived, the hotel looked outdated from exterior but looked OK inside. TV didn't work for 3 days. The soundproof was terrible. We could hear all the noises from outside from the front door and the back patio. People talking, shouting, screaming, baby crying, sirens,. garbage trucks, All sorts of noises you can think of.

Housekeeping didn't do a great job either. Lack of some amenities and didn't clean the shower room thoroughly. Hair was still in a small pile.

We chose it because the breakfast is included. We thought it would be the buffet type but it was provided by a restaurant on the first floor. Breakfast menu provide a few choices but the volume of each choice is very small. A toase with avocado spread, a french toas, a small cup of oat meals or fruits, yogurt. Each choice could barely feed a child. On 12/26/2025, we waited over 40 minutes and still didn't get our breakfast. We talked to the manager and he apologized to us and prepared the breakfast in a few minutes.

The resort fee is a scam. The partner is way too far from the hotel to use. The hotel is on the north part of Waikiki and the partner is on the south-most side of Waikiki. Guests will not go that far to get the provided items. This is just a way for the hotel to overcharge guests. A total scam.

I have to say, the front desk staff was friendly and professional. It shouldn't be a 4-star hotel

This listing was very misleading. It said it was a queen bed and bunk beds, it is only 2 very small beds in a VERY VERY VERY small room ( the size of a closet ) it had a mini window and felt very claustrophobic. I would not recommend. The front desk gentleman were nice but did not solve my issues, there were homeless people in the lobby and trash over flowing in trashcans , it was NOT THE BEST would not recommend or go back.

The rooms were clean and neat. Had all that is needed - locker, mini fridge, tv, A/C. coffee machine was not clean. had salt strains. Didnt had Iron and Iron table. But when requested, it was provided.
Room was not sound proof. Could hear the cars in the street. Every morning we were hearing something rolling back and forth in the floor above.
But both are not that disturbing.

One thing that was kind of let down was the breakfast that we purchased along with the room. Its not a buffet. The restaurant has limited menu and many times, they were out of one or other items.

We didnt had time to use the pool. Its a kids friendly hotel. Had everything (ABC stores, shopping malls, restaurants, bus station, beach etc) in a walkable distance.

Even though there were a few \"hiccups\", I enjoyed my stay at the Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki. Most of the staff were friendly but not all. Elevator service was my biggest peeve as there doesn't seem to be enough elevators for 368 rooms. As a result, had to wait more than a few minutes on a couple of occasions. Didnt use the pool or the restaurant but both were nice. For people who rely partially or fully on public transportation, there is literally a bus stop in front of the hotel and on the opposite side, just a few steps away.

We arrived around 1:00. Tried to get an early check in but no rooms were ready, totally understandable because check in was 3:00. I was told they would send a text when it was ready, not too long. We dicided to walk around and get some food. We arrive back at the hotel around 4:15 and the room still wasn't teady and I was asked multiple same questions from the lady that checked us in even though we did pre check in when we originally arrived. And she was the worst, but the majority or the employees weren't pleasant and we didn't feel welcome. The rooms were extremely noisy. You could hear everything going in around you. The ac unit was loud and sounded like it was foing to fall of the wall.

We were treated so well by the staff. Some glitches happened, bathroom door jammed and the engineer was there in 5 minutes and so sweet. He removed the door and released my husband and reinstalled it so professionally. The front desk did a great job of pointing us in the right direction even finding my husband when he wandered off. The valets were great about holding our suitcases on the last day so we could get a little more time being tourists. The restaurant next door has delicious croissants and again very kind staff. I love that I could walk to the beach or catch a bus from in front of the hotel to anywhere in Honolulu. We opted to not use the maids much while we were there so I can't say much about them.

This is my second stay at the Ambassador and definitely won’t be my last stay! Each and every staff member especially Guest Services were so accommodating!

Especially Guest Serivces Agent He! Turns out my parents ordered a tiramisu cake through DoorDash and I called down to see if they had a cake drop off. He confirmed no cake was dropped off but went and got me a tiramisu cake for my birthday! Which was so sweet and completely unexpected!

If you want a great location, value, with updated and modern hotel amenities with amazing customer service, definitely give The Ambassador a try!

Wonderful greeting and follow up by staff. Room was nice with small balcony . Lovely bathroom. Bed comfortable. Restaurant/bar blvery nice. Staff was very friendly. Our room was clean but very noisy. We could hear loud music from the room next to us very clearly which was very annoying. It also took a very long time to finally get warm water out of the shower.
We liked the breakfast and very good coffee.
Overall for us it was a good stay for a couple of nights.
