Wonderful!!...2 bedrm/2 bathrm with huge balcony for BOTH bedrooms/living room.....that's our view in the photo........check-in is at Regency 3 blocks away, but they brought luggage to unit....pool is next door at the \"Reef\"....It's on the sandy beach but ROCKY bottom 20 yards out in water - booo!!.....beach side restaurant in the \"Reef\" is a rip off. Eat breakfast down the street...........

Room was nice, clean and well supplied. Locks were tricky and sliding glass door would stick. Blinds did nothing to block the light so if you need dark to sleep you'll have issues. Check in takes place at a building about a block away and with it being a one way street with no street parking it was difficult to check in.

Condo was a bit dated but clean - except the bathroom /shower area (outside needed to be cleaned and we had to unclog the drain) - everywhere else was clean. Furniture a bit dated but not a big deal. Washer and dryer need to be replaced. The washer was SO loud and I was not sure it was safe to use with the noise it made, once we got it started. Dryer filter is falling apart and a fire hazard. TV could be replaced - small older tv. Staff were so friendly and Mika helped us with our luggage the last day which was a huge help.

Great location for shopping, restaurants and events. View from balcony was awesome. Did not spend a lot of time in the room except to change clothes and sleep but the rooms themselves really need updating with furniture and window dressing. Patio furniture was outdated and had holes in fabric chairs.

Lovely spacious apartment for a couple. Full kitchen with all appliances, even kettle for me to brew my cup of tea at breakfast. Comfy bed and balcony so we were able to see the ocean and fireworks on Friday night. Easy walk to the local ABC store to obtain our food and drink requirements. Can also walk to Ala Moana S/Centre within 30 minutes. Lots of restaurants around if you are inclined although eating out is expensive.

Beachfront property is always a plus when you're traveling with teens. If you're looking for an updated unit this unit is probably not for you. It's a used unit with half of the blinds missing. We couldn't use the bedroom closet as there was an oversized dresser in the closet that prevented the doors from moving. The head boards on the twin beds were not secure. Every time you moved, it hit the wall. The kitchen could use some extra bowls and a blender. The view however made up for it.

It was quiet and the studio was clean with a deck overlooking the beach. Waikiki Beach was right outside our room with chairs and umbrella to relax and only steps away from the water. There were several restaurants nearby to choose from and shopping centers near by. If we needed anything for our room, a young gentleman named Joseph brought it to our room. This place would be 5 stars if the seating area and table on the porch were the ones pictured in the listing. The owner clearly invested a lot of time decorating their place and appointing the kitchen with lots of dishes and cooking utensils. However, most, ironically, there is absolutely nowhere to sit and enjoy a meal, unless you want to stare at a wall and sit on a barstool.
The outside table and chairs are not the one picture, and seem to be available only to drink cocktails, not to eat a meal. We found ourselves, unable to prepare a lot of food and needing to go out to restaurants because there was no seating area.

Nothing like the pictures on the site other than the view from the lanai. The kitchen and furniture were dated as compared to the pictures. The walls in the bathroom were partially repaired from some damage, the shower door was difficult to open and close, the sink in the bathroom and the shower were clogged on our arrival. Requested attention by maintenance multiple times to clear the drains. The bed was excellent. Overall the stay was fine but we were disappointed with the unit as our expectations were considerably higher based on all of the photos on the website. We paid more to stay here based on those expectations and had we known we may have stayed elsewhere.

Just got back from our trip and stay at the Waikiki shore and I loved every second of it !! We were so lucky to get such a good deal on a 2 bedroom 2 bath and I can’t wait to book in the future with them ! From views, to having everything pretty much around you there’s really no complain !!

The view of the adjacent park and beach from the lanai continue to make the Waikiki Shore our favorite accommodation among all the hotels directly on Waikiki Beach. A few minor repairs, for example, the very loose kitchen faucet, were needed in our unit, and having to check in at a different hotel located about a quarter of a mile from the Waikiki Shore is somewhat inconvenient, but we would nevertheless return to the Waikiki Shore.

However, I was extremely disappointed that my request for an early check-in due, to my flight time, sent weeks and repeated days in advance, was met with empty promises.
My wife and I had to wait 5 hrs until the standard checkin of 3pm even though the room was vacated in advance of 11am. Repeated visits to reception to request to expedite the room preparation was met with smiles but no action and an evident lack of communication within the hotel.
I recommend OUTRIGGER look to provide an early check for early arrivals or at minimum a room where guests can change and freshen up after their travels.

Check in process odd (you have to find a property a block away) with no prior communications that would be needed - luckily we found a friendly security guard, but without him we’d hav been complete lost and I don’t know how we would got into our room.

love, love the superior convenience!!!! I'm handicap, so access to beach, food/restaurants, shopping was enormous relief from hotel. everything was extremely PERFECT!!! THE BUS & it's multi schedules/all bus drivers was accommodating completed the overall convenience of this property, (except checking in & out).

So when I reserved this hotel it said king bed. It was actually 2 full beds together so we had a slot in between the mattresses. We just laughed it off because hey we're in Hawaii. The room was actually smaller than we were expecting but it was fine considering it was just my wife and I. It was kinda strange in that it had mirrors on the wall above the bed on the walls and on the walls on the outside patio. We may admit though it was actually cool because you're literally right at the beach when you exit the back and in the front your just steps away from shops. We had a great view of the beach from the 7th floor. Although we didn't have room service we did have a washer and dryer which was nice considering we were there for 10 days but they should update their dryer because it had a hole in the drum but it did the job. Although we would stay there again we were really upset at the last staff member who wouldn't allow us to use the lobby bathroom just after we checked out, we felt that was very unprofessional. Other than her everything was very pleasant.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Shore. The space was perfect for 3 people. Some of the fixtures were older but it didn’t bother us at all. The apartment was very clean and we enjoyed using the beach chairs. Wish the floor was a bit higher for more of an ocean view but really enjoyed the quieter location by the park overall. Would definitely come back!

Excellent Stay in Honolulu
Nice clean, comfortable Condo managed by Waikiki Shore by Outrigger. When we arrived, we learned that the management desk had moved to be overseen by another Hotel (The Regency; 5 min walk away). Jacques checked us in - very professional and helpful. Went over all logistics of rental property. We had stayed here before - and it was nice to see the upgrade of the new elevators in the building. Condo was very clean, well kept and great view. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Hawaii.

I was worried with some of the reviews I read so here’s my honest opinion. We’re a family of 6 (with older kids) staying for a week. It was very spacious, 2 full bathrooms and washer & dryer were a plus, loved the open kitchen and the beach view was the best! The beach was right there with easy access to it. We bought groceries and the fridge/freezer worked great. Appliances worked normal, there were pots & pans, most of what you’d expect in a kitchen. We cooked breakfast & lunches, bought out dinners. Down side, the appliances were a little outdated, the showers could use some bleach and some blinds were missing. I did go buy cleaning supplies and I did sweep everyday. The whole place could have been wiped down and mopped better before we got there. I think our biggest concern was that both the toilets were messing up with the smallest of flushes. Maintenance did have to come fix them but we were still worried they were going to break. I would have also liked a better lock on the door or even multiple locks. The parking area was on the smaller side but we used Uber so that was a nonissue. All in all, it wasn’t horrible. We didn’t go to Hawaii to plan on staying in the room the whole time, so those weren’t too big of a deal and everything did its purpose. Check in wasn’t at the hotel and we knew that before booking, it was a 2 minute walk up the street. It was a very quick process and all the employees were very nice and welcoming. We’ll definitely be booking there again.

Our condo at the Waikiki shore was outstanding. The condo was better than I could have imagined. It was super clean and well stocked with towels, linens, etc. The views of the beach and the city were breathtaking.
There was nothing about the rooms that I would change.
The area around the place was saturated with good restaurants and shops. The Yard House was our favorite place to eat.
Oh and we were right on the beach. Perfect!

The property wasn't as clean as it should be,the sofa needs to be deep cleaned or redone , cushions were stained dirty.Tub area needs a good scrub.The condo was comfortable but tv in bedroom didn't work and living room had to be fixed ...not enough pots and pans or measuring cups to make breakfast much less a dinner ....at the price I paid should have been better than it is

The view from our room was amazing. Every morning we can wake up to a beautiful view of the beach. Amenities were dated but in good working condition. The washer and dryer was a great addition but the dryer is extremely loud so don’t plan on doing laundry at night.
The first night we spent there we were woken up by what sounded like a running faucet. It turns out the wall mounted a/c machine was draining on to the floor in the living room. We scurried to clean it up but we didn’t expect our first morning in Hawaii to start at 4:30am. Management was quick to perform the repair but instead of it draining in to the living room they just drained it on to the outdoor balcony. Traveling with elderly and small children made going outside a worry anyone would slip and fall.
The sofa couch was comfortable however it was missing some supports that held the mattress up towards your feet. Luckily we had small children sleeping on this bed but if you’re an adult expect to have your feet dangling while you sleep.
Overall our experience was good for the price. I’m on the fence if I would be booking this again when I return to Hawaii.

I sent an email 2 days ago. I got crickets….. our room is not an ocean view. It’s not a 1 bedroom, there is a hole in the bathroom ceiling. The appliances are from 1985. The ac sometime works the fridge is leaking but hey you guys got my money.

The office is under construction so the check in process was weird, we has to drive down the road to check in/out. And during the day there was quite a lot of sanding and other construction sounds. One of the elevators was also not working, so the one working elevator was typically very slow and busy. Besides those things, our room was nice, the balcony had a beautiful view of the ocean, and i love that we could walk right out of the hotel and onto the beach. There are also stores and restaurants right under the hotel, which was very convenient. I would stay here again.

The view during our stay was fabulous , the balcony view was amazing overlooking a park and the army museum , it was super quiet especially for the beginning of summer, all the fancy shops and local ABC shops as well as anything you could possibly want to buy or eat were like 5 - 10 minutes walk. The check in process was a short 3 min walk to pick up the keys , most of the staff at the place were super friendly and helpful , however the property itself has several companies that rent at the same building , so the staff in the downstairs office only deal with residences with Coral castle or something with a name like that , when I asked a question regarding guest parking the morning of our checkout the heavier set middle aged man was EXTREMELY rude and condescending he wouldn’t answer any questions and just repeatedly said “ you need to go to outrigger you’re with outrigger byeeeee bye bye now bye I have nothing to do with you “ the issue was all the guest parking was taken by construction trucks , so his attitude and brush off condescending way of talking was completely out of line !, aside from that the rest of our trip was picture perfect , coffee at sunrise and drinks at sunset , the comfort of the room and amenities like beach chairs and beach floaters and beach towels was great !, the only part of the room that showed any wear and tear was the hanging blinds , but we would definitely book this spot again !, the lobby construction says it will be finished in 2023 nov.

Property location and view was the only positive aspect. The room itself was completely outdated, in poor condition and didn’t appear as it did in the photos given on the website. Was very disappointed in the quality and size of the room as well as it’s over all condition. AC didn’t work very well, blinds on the windows were broken and hardly covered the windows for privacy. Fridge was dirty and unsanitary and the single lock on the door to the room didn’t seem to provide much security. A maintenance man just walked in unannounced the first day we checked in to paint a door in the property. If it wasn’t for the convenient location of the hotel and the view from the room then the stay would have been a complete fail.

The appliances in the apartment are very old and rickety. My daughter turned on the water on the fridge and it leaked all over the floor. One of the air conditioners broke down and spewed black liquid all over the bed. They fixed the air conditioner but there were no extra sheets in the apartment to change the bed. The location is great but the appliances are all old and apartment was not well supplied

There is a robust night life nearby which all could here. The condo does not provide bowls. We had to use the mixing bowls and saucepans to eat out of. The plates are ceramic, and we weren't sure if they were microwaveable, so we didn't put them in there. Something like Corelle would be nice. Being located right on the beach was nice and it is next to one of the jetties, so the waves are good too. Had the wheelchair with but it couldn't fit into the bathroom. I can stand so this was ok

The location was perfect! When I arrived the air conditioning wasn't working and, for the duration, there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. Having expectations of a bathtub, I was disappointed to find a half-tub instead. It was good having a washer and dryer and full kitchen. Don't forget to bring your own spices, including salt and pepper. I'd stay again, but in a different unit for sure.
