Rooms are clean but it’s older and thus dated.. Staff were efficient. It was hot when we were in our second floor unit and the AC barely kept up. The pool looked iffy as it was green but we were told it was just the color of the liner. Morning coffee was appreciated. We booked it for location which was excellent and for value….which we received.

The room was fine. The air conditioner works. However, it's too old, thus it was making too much noise, and it was leaking from the condensation.

The staff were helpful. For example, we had an accident that we lost our room key by my husband while swimming at the beach. He put it in his swimming pant's pocket, and forgot to secure it properly.

The key is an actual key made of metal and not a card reader type. The front end staff was helpful and let us in with his master key. But, we had to pay US$150 for the lost key, and changing of lock. So, be careful with a metal type of key.

The beach is nearby; it's a few minutes walk from the hotel. We had a great time at the beach.

Since there's a full kitchen in the room, you can do groceries nearby and cook in your toom.

Finally, if you have time, check out the nearby restaurants, shopping centres, and popular fun shows that Waikiki offers.

If you are booking here to get a separate bedroom for a family of 4 with a kitchen, find something else. If you close the screen in the bedroom, the main room gets way too hot. The kitchenette doesn't have any cookware. There was mold in the bathroom. Overall, very disappointed that I stayed here. Fortunately, we were out and about so only in the room at night.

We enjoy to be there, this property could not be like great hotels, but it’s a great ubicación, near to main interesting points, is silent to sleep, there is not clean and replace bed set, but they provided to do myself.

The room was extremely dirty. A thick layer of grime and dust was on the lamps and sidetables which made me not want to touch them but I had to because the ceiling light was so dim it was useless. Only one electrical outlet worked so only one lamp even worked and had to move the bed over to be able to charge my phone. There was no dish detergent to wash the provided dishes in the kitchen and the toilet ran constantly.

The room smells pretty bad . AC not working properly. Late email send out for our lock box and we were not able to sleep on the first night and went to Embassy suite. The phone numbers mentioned in the piece of paper posted on the wall was of no use. If you are going to send the email for the instructions not the day itself. You emailed me on April 17,2026 and we arrived at 10 pm . I dont have the time to even look at my email.
We will not be coming back to this place.

On arrival first couldn’t find the room, room wasn’t clean by any means. Room had a great set up. Minimual dishes eg. One fork, one knife lots of spoons. Enough bowls and dishes and pots. Oven was filthy and never even tried to use. Pool looked nice even though we never used it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Over all give it a 4 star.

I complained to the staff about: (1) we would like to switch to a 2-room unit, given it was available next door (2) the bedsheet was dusty and my parents were sensitive about the dusty. They all ignored them and denied our complaint. Also, do NOT pay for their resort fee. It's a bogus. They only do housekeeping every 4 days (not mentioned anywhere in booking), a poor swimming poor for decoration only, and they don't even provide service for luggage stowage. Our eyes had infection from using their bedsheets and blankets. Everything was so dirtly and disgusting!

the people from from desk are fake and rude, we need to use the restroom sice 1 pm and they send us to a mall, and we wait until 3:30 to use the restrooms because at 3 the room wasn’t ready and the answer was, we working on it, the room supposed to have a door between the room and living room and it was no door, and i was the reason that i got the room, i recommend this place because has the best location, near to the beach, good restaurants, and nightlife, is a lot to get better reference to good service

Rooms are very run down.

Front desk made everyone in my party (7) provide ID’s. Most of them were my teenagers. Weird.

Front desk would not provide me with gate code to the back, even though I was parked on that side of the building.

Parking was $55 per day at the USPS lot near the motel.

Overall, regretted staying here even though it is in a prime location and very cheap.

It’s all about price and location… which are both great! But for a low budget hotel it has a unique and peaceful garden atmosphere by pool. way more comfortable than many others in Waikiki area that I would never stay at again. Keep expectations low.

The staff was rude, we had to request extra towels. They had said there was parking and ended up telling me to park across the street at the public parking in the post office. There were no blankets in the room. The next day I checked out at 0830 and they then sent a message claiming I asked to check out at 1 and they'd charge $35 for that. It's way overpriced and one can stay at the Malia for about 70 less and a much better hotel.

Nice, inexpensive, mom and pop style hotel. Rooms were clean and has a nice pool. It's not an upscale hotel, but the location makes it a nice way to save some money, yet be right in the middle of it all. Walking distance to tons of shopping, great restaurants, and the famous Waikiki Beach!

1970s vibes, Very much outdated and it felt very unsecure. The widows were covered by wood slates and a screen. Not really much to keep someone from entering your room when you aren't there. The reviews I read and the photos I saw before booking did not seem to be the same place. Not happy with my choice but due to some travel glitches we needed a last minute place to stay.

The location of this property is absolutely amazing, and walkable to everything in Waikiki. The staff were consistently responsive and kind, answering all of our questions and taking care of our needs throughout our stay. The room was clean, but unfortunately the bed was extremely uncomfortable—hard as a rock—and the shower was very small. The kitchen, including the stove, and other furnishings definitely need updating. While the property has great potential, some improvements are needed to match the fantastic location and service.

My room had ants running around the bathroom and they could not get rid of them. They migrated to the clothes hanging area, there is no wardrobe.
I bought my own spray and eradicated them.
No kettle in room.
"Free" coffee in lobby till 11am whoopee!

Worst hotel experience ever. The supervisor was unbelievably rude and unprofessional — zero respect for guests. On top of that, they try to rip you off by charging $150 plus tax for a lost key, claiming they have to replace the whole lock. The place feels unsafe, badly managed, and like a total scam. Trust me, don’t waste your money here.

I must start off by saying this is the second time I stay here and I love this hotel! I love how you can easily walk to Wakiki beach , very safe , quiet , and spacious! Friendly staff. We had a stove , counter ,microwave ,full size fridge in our room , and huge closet space , and a nice size back porch. ABC store right across the street! I look forward to booking this hotel next trip as well! 5+ stars!

Locations is convenient, accessible to many areas and the price is great. Staff is really friendly and accommodating. Staff shares a lot of useful information.

The only down side is the room looks outdated, bathroom is a little old I found a cockroach in the closet.

The experience was not pleasant. No house keeping during our three nights’ stay. We had to go to the front desk to ask for clean towels every day before 10 pm coz there would be no one there to help you after 10pm. Hygiene is definitely an issue as we found cockroaches during our first night stay.

This hotel needs to update their photos and stop trying to fool people online. This “hotel” is very outdated, has cement block walls, the AC can keep up to keep the room a comfortable cool, the ceiling fan sounds as if it’s gonna fly off the ceiling. We did not utilize the kitchenette because we were scared to eat off anything. The shower looked like it would give you a fungus if you touched it and was very tiny.

My wife didn’t feel safe. (She was fine at all of our other stops in HI). They kept coming up with larger fees than advertised.
I could not find the promised limited parking at all. I don’t think it existed.
They kept pointing to the more expensive parking options. The described free overnight parking was another $85.
Room was dated, and my wife felt it was dirty.

Worst stay of a 10 day trip. Pay a little more for a better place.
