In general this is a very good place to stay. The problem is the first week we had no AC due to their building unit had broke down. Other wise quiet place to may things to do and is a short walk to the beach.

This was the worst hotel you could probably stay in near the strip of Waikiki beach. It was not clean, ac wasn’t working, they will not give you any extra face towels through your whole stay, the staff is not aloha friendly for the most part and there are roaches that you will need to fight off during your stay.

The ac wasn’t working but it was okay with the balcony door open and the room had a fan inside the bathroom a little small bed was comfortable didn’t need to use the kitchen but it was ok size Tv was good very big maybe more towels would have been great. The room overall was a perfect size for one. I stayed for just one night but it met my standards. Would I stay there again probably not the environment was a little scary police all around yes but it only made it feel more uneasy

I couldn’t give this hotel zero stars but I would.
Staff doesn’t seem to prioritize costumer service.
Rooms aren’t very clean with lamps, curtains, mattresses ripped.
Shower with peeling paint everywhere.
My entire stay which was on the weekend, hotel did not have working AC in the entire building. Could not get rest with all the noise of the street and neighbors whom also had to sleep and party with loud music all’s night, by the way your room will become “smoking” room since all the smoke from neighbors around will go into rooms.
Not a single staff member updated anyone and didn’t seem to care for the well-being of its patrons as it was a very hot weekend.
Also there was several roaches in the bedroom.
Last but not least while still staying at this hotel. The front desk have a new party key to my room and they u locked my door. Hotel did not offer any apology on their behalf. Luckily I always double lock on the inside.
Utterly frustrated as the hotel refused to credit me or refund any amount. Thankfully Expedia is an amazing company and they found me a resolution. Expedia has the best costumer service.

This property was awfully terrible. I would never send anyone to stay there at all. To begin with NO AC working whatsoever and they still charged “resort fee?”. Staff very unprofessional, this guy on a power trip and very rude not cooperating with us. I could have cancel it because he offered but I didn’t want to have the hassle to find another hotel after flying 13 hours. I’m glad we used it to sleep only, clean place I won’t lie, “great location”though but definitely I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN EVER!!! Seriously people don’t go there, it was a nightmare

The lady at the front desk was very nice, although the hotel was terrible. It stunk , the air conditioning was not working and there is not screen on the balcony door so we were unable to open the door to cool down the room. Very outdated and very clean … didn’t even want to shower in that shower. Only nice thing was the staff and the location.

I did two stars for how well it was maintained only because the AC was out, however they let me know at the beginning of the check in process. They offered to reimburse me if I wanted to go to another hotel. I declined. Room was pretty stuffy when we first started the stay, but there was a stand fan (dusty so wasn’t as nice and cold as a clean one), but it worked along with having the lanai door open. The room overall was okay, one of the outlets didn’t work. And the one we used to plug the fans in by the bed was loose. Wasn’t a fan of the view but that’s not the hotels fault the building next door hasn’t been touched since it caught fire I think around 2020, so if you don’t care for a view then you’ll be okay. Besides AC issues, one elevator working, and the out of service outlet in room it was a good stay. Staff from the front to the valet were friendly. I didn’t swim in the pool but it was nice looking and shaded.

Terrible. Cockroaches in the room. Probably has bed bugs due to getting bit on the ear and had needle like pulsing pain and swell from the infected area. Paint peeling off walls. Water running from shower stall due to a bad water valve. Bed frame broken. Ac filters severely clogged with debris. Place really needs heavy repairs and or remodeling. Only good thing I like is the location.

Terrible place + poor communication from hotel! Upon arrival, we were informed that the AC unit was broken throughout our 4 night stay with no prior communication. There was also no wifi during our stay and the electric fan in our room was broken too, so the only ventilation came from opening the balcony.

We had 3 options:
1) don’t stay + full refund (no discount/ compensation at all)
2) stay 1 night + refund the other 3 nights
3) stay 4 nights + no refund

We chose option 2 since it we arrived late and couldn’t be bothered to find another place. The hallway leading to the room was in serious need of renovations and smelled moldy. The room itself was extremely outdated and slightly dusty. Additional appliances for the kitchen had to be requested from the front desk. We made the right choice staying for 1 night to figure out our next accommodation, as we would much rather pay a higher price for better quality. Would not recommend staying here at all!

I’d like to start with the positives before I list the negatives. The location is great. Walking to beach access and the entire shopping centers and food access. The staff was very helpful and nice. Apologetic even.
Unfortunately the only updated or clean thing of this hotel is the lobby. Upon arrival we were told there’s no AC and won’t be for even a month. Then was asked if we wanted to keep the reservation. Why would they convey this message to guests the day of arrival and not days prior to? Oh, because people would definitely rebook elsewhere instead they put travelers in a predicament of paying triple on same day reservations or suck it up with no ac.
There’s two elevators and only one works for the entire hotel. The hallways have parts of walls literally falling apart and overhead door light hanging off. The rooms themselves are incredibly dirty. The curtains had stains from prior stays. Not recent ones either. The ac vent in the room was covered with dust and the popcorn ceiling around the vents also collected wads of dust. The bathroom floors were dirty and hadn’t been mopped. The corners of the walls to floors had build of “gunk” as in if it was mopped prior the build up just was left there. They appear to have beach towels but two days in a row by 930 am they were magically out of them already. The free check in snack pack advertised was out of stock by 11am but check in is at 3pm? Weird. And lastly the fan offered in room was loaded with dust on the blades.

The photos provided on Expedia of the rooms do not reflect the most up to date condition of the property at all. It’s understandable that this hotel is rated at three stars, but that is generous even for the price of the stay.

The air quality was poor/moldy/musty in the room.
The sheets were an off white tone... and check the bedding for potential bugs. One of the two lamps in the room were questionably stained. There was no AC for the stay and an older dusty portable fan was in the room to help with that humidity and heat problem.
The bathroom sliding door was off its track and we had to use the bathroom with the door open despite the maintenance man coming to check it out.
Also one of the two elevator were down, so the stairs were the move for most of the stay.

The ac was broken and the fan they provided was broken it wasn’t until the night before we left they provided another one. The plugs by the bed to charge our phones were also broken they were suppose to get someone to fix it and never did so we had to go buy an extension cord.

The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If I could have gotten a refund I would have left immediately. The only good thing about this hotel
is the location. Bathroom was absolutely horrible. Had to turn on shower on by the valve on the shower head. No hot water and the shower was so awful I wore my flip flops to quickly rinse
off in cold water. The hallways and elevator were old and dirty. People were smoking pot in their rooms and it drifted through the halls. Only one elevator was working. The pool was disgusting. The whole place had a weird musky odor. Rooms were old and dingy.

My room was on the 14th floor overlooking the city, which was beautiful and full of life. The room was clean, and the staff was great. It included a small kitchen area, though the refrigerator was outdated and should be replaced. It was also a bit difficult to get fresh face cloths due to limited stock. Overall, my experience was very good. Food, Target, and other stores were all within walking distance, which made it very convenient. I also rented a car, and valet service made that process easy.

Only 2 players and silverware, any cooking utensils we would have to get from front desk. Had to have my key reprogrammed 4 times. The battery on the card reader on the door died, maintenance made it sound like the only way we could get back in was to kick the door open. The elevators were constantly busy need more for a17 story building. Only plywood separators between balconies. Huge palmetto bugs daily. Bathroom ceiling collapsed in large chunks. Mold on shower ceiling. Asked for pool towels and told they didn’t have any that day. Good price but won’t stay there again.

The pictures online were very deceiving...I was very underwhelmed by the property. The lobby was unrecognizable from the online pictures. The bed was horrible, it dipped in the middle and you can feel every spring in the mattress. The kitchenette was clean but if you want use it you would have to go the front desk to get cooking utensils, as well as ice or to heat something up in the microwave. The view was of dilapidated building and trash. The wifi didn't connect. The staff was pleasant the property was up to my standards...I checked out after one night!

Firstly the room smelled very bad like weed, as soon as we entered, we even saw roaches there, the receptionist was rude as hell. 1 ft wide Holes in the bathroom wall. Cockroaches everywhere. No microwave. Repeatedly asked for pans to use oven and never received so couldn’t actually cook anything. Giant stains on curtains and bed sheets. They gave us two bath towels for our party of four and gave us a hard time when we asked for two more. The shower floor paint was peeling off when you stand on it. There was trash from last guests behind the open shelving. The view outside was a rooftop covered in broken glass. The pool was dirty. The photos of the hotel on Expedia are severely outdated and inaccurate. THIS IS NOT A 3-STAR HOTEL. It is a sleazy motel.

Obviously, this property needs renovation. It is old & a face lift needed is obvious. I stay here a lot because of the location. It is in the middle of Waikiki. Close to everything. Lots of restaurants. But every time I stay there the one thing I know will be the bathroom is messed up. Every shower I have encountered in this hotel is horrible. I just got back from a trip which I stayed there and the shower was horrible. I meant to take a picture but forgot. But that was the worst so far. They definitely need bathrooms updated. Other than that, the staff is always wonderful, friendly, and as accommodating as they can be.

The pictures on the website and used in this app must be 20 years old. The reception counter should be were they try to impress; the cabinets on the wall were completely dirty with black all around the handles. The walls in the hallways were poorly patched up. We only had hot water 2 out of 5 days. The rooms were just aged. Motel 6 has better kept rooms. The hotel is conveniently located to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, but it’s also on a very busy and loud street. Between the people activity, motor cycles, and music it was hard to get to sleep before 11:30pm. The main reason I booked this hotel was for the fully stocked kitchenette. Well all we had were 4 settings of plates and silverware, no means to even boil water or microwave.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and I really enjoy it.It's in the heart of downtown where you can go to the beach.If desired with a short walk, you can go to multiple nice restaurants as well as stores in the area.You are on the bus strip.So if you do not want to rent a car, you're able to catch one of the local buses that will take you all over the island. The daily parking fee is pretty high. But again, if you don't want to rent a car, that's not something that's going to affect you, they do charge an amenity fee at the hotel which is not stated on the booking apps.So watch out for that. The complementary breakfast is only for small.Items, which are granola, bars or chips.So if you do have a family of 5 1person will be left out but overall, the staff is very welcoming. And inviting the rooms are clean. There is a restaurant that is located in the hotel that you can get food at. If desired, the view is beautiful, I will stay at this hotel again and again as it's in a great location. The building is an older building ISIS a little ran down. But the professionalism of the staff is great as well. I don't think it's a bad place to stay. Especially if you're there for the experience of going and exploring hawaii opposed to just staying in your room.

Never received my security desposits for both of my stays I’ve had here. Called and said it was my bank’s problem, but both times it was through a different bank account.

We arrived late and check in was easy and the front desk staff member was very friendly. We only stayed for a night. It’s a budget hotel and priced as such so it was fine for the stay we had. It’s in a good location
