The picture that are advertised are misreading. There wasn’t ice or parking available. Had park the 3 blocks away. Ironing board was broken and we very disappointed.

Windows did not fully close. There were no screens so bugs got into the room. The television rarely worked. There was no air conditioning in the bathroom. No blackout curtains just some to try to hide the heat, humidity and the fact that the windows didn’t work properly. The room was a good size, great walk in closet and location. Staff was amazing and super friendly.

Everything was great except our bathroom floor clearly hadn't been cleaned before we arrived. There was long hairs all over the floor. Otherwise, the staff was amazing and the rest of the room was super clean. We love staying at Stay for the location, the price and the staff is always super helpful and nice.

This is an okay place if you literally
just need a cheap place to sleep and you don’t mind a cramped bathroom, limited toiletries, really loud air conditioner, windowless room. The surprise ‘resort fee’ nearly doubled the cost of the room. We didn’t have time to use the beach stuff but that may have been useful if we did. Staff was professional and friendly.

The Karaoke Bar that is opened from 7pm-2am every night was very disruptive to my sleep. The sound just travelled up the walls, so trying to get to sleep before 2am is impossible. Then at 5am every morning I would get woken up by the garbage collective for Hyatt Regency which is across the road. So having only about 3 hours of sleep every night is not how I would wanted my stay in Waikiki to be.

This place may not be the nicest, but the staff are very accommodating and put customer service first. The parking is very tight I would recommend if renting a car nothing bigger then a large sedan. We had a min van and went to switch it out because of how hard it was parking in the garage.

We let the property know that we're flying in to celebrate my wife's birthday. She was happy to see an assortment of treats and a hand-written greetings waiting for her. It is VERY close to the beach. I'm wondering before the Hyatt in front, they would have been a hotel with a great view.
The intake was nice, the staff is pleasant. They give you free laundry access which is a huge plus for washing sand off our clothes. They also offer free beach towels and other equipment.
Overall very pleasant stay. Would come again.

This hotel is excellent for the price! Beds are comfy, room is very clean and all the appliances work. Hot water in the shower. No breakfast, but tea and coffee available every morning. Would definitely book here again! Everything was amazing!

Windows dont have panes they are glass shutters that dont close all the way so it is kind of noisy. The bathroom is size of a closet the door hits the sink and you have close the door squeeze past to make it to the stall. Room seemed clean staff was nice. I didnt understand why they called to ask me how check in was on the 2nd day. I mean its in a great location food and ABC store are less than 100ft and ocean is less than a block away. Has a small in house bar with karaoke seem pretty hopping. Overall i would stay again for the price.

Friendly staff from front desk to house cleaning. A 2 minute walk from beach, lots of tourist shopping, restaurants, bus routes, shuttle/bus pick up and frop off!
Rooms were clean but need updating. Need dressers in rooms and more counter space in bathroom.
I would definitely stay there again especially if looking for vacation spot if you want to spend time doing fun things in Waikiki and not wanting to spend it on hotel amenities.

The bed sheets, pillows, and blankets were no clean and had many visible stains. The front door to our room would randomly open on it's own, and had problems latching. The bathroom tub had yellow stain inside of it, and with the AC blasting at 62° the room was terribly hot unless you were in the bed which was next to it. The bed itself was very firm so take it or leave it if you don't like firm mattresses. The pillows themselves were very flat. The staff was very friendly! And very helpful too! Everyone was nice it's just the room was not good at all. My girlfriend was scared to tell me that it sucked. Her, and I promptly checked out the same day we checked in and got a different hotel.

Room was small the pictures on the booking apps do do not provide an accurate description or picture the rooms it has no desk barely any room for your closet OHH and hear this.. they have a karaoke bar downstairs that runs legit until 2am so good luck trying to get some rest with wannabe madonnas screaming their lungs out this hotel is legit for those who can’t afford an upgrade hotel or even for locals whos gonna bring a side piece just for the day or 2 but anyways… it is local to the beach and shopping centers the staff was extremely friendly and nice the parking situation sucks you have to be on a waiting list to get a parking spot also the room was semi dirty had hair on the bed a little stain on the sheets the tv was so bad the speakers are shocked legit cant hear anything tbh if you want to stay at a motel environment this is the place but if you could afford something better legit go their ( wish i would have looked into it further) the coffee bar is just a kerrug and cups so its mid overall my experience wasnt the best here so i give it a 5/10 rating

Parking is limited so you’ll have to find parking elsewhere. The hotel is close to the strip malls so it’s convenient to walk there and back. Overall, the hotel is a good place to stay and it dos the job for those staying for a couple days.

I do not recommend this hotel if you need sleep, the noise level is ridiculous; between the thumping of the bar music radiating up through the floors, people outside screaming till early in the morning ! It was so bad I called the front desk and complained at 10:30pm. The windows or whatever they were had no blinds or curtains and it was like sleeping with the lights on! I understand its downtown Waikiki and it's alot of tourist but noise level is off the charts! The area around the hotel is great, ABC stores, restaurant's and food trucks. One block from Waikiki Beach! Staff was great, very helpful and tried to help with the noise.

If you’re planning to stay here be aware that there’s a construction site next door where they are building a new hotel (look on google earth) and they start work at around 6am. Add to the fact that the is a nightclub on the ground floor that plays till around one or 2am it can get a little noisy, so if you like your sleep it might not be for you.

Waikiki offers a wide range of hotels for every style and budget, but this one fell short of expectations. The bathroom conditions were disappointing and clearly in need of better maintenance, and the lack of parking space made things unnecessarily inconvenient. For the price they charge, the overall quality and experience don’t justify the cost. There are definitely better options in the same price range.

Our 10-day stay at Stay Hotel in Waikiki was honestly such a beautiful experience from start to finish. The location was perfect, the atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant, and it truly felt like a home away from home.

What made it especially memorable though was the incredible staff. Eli, G, and Riza were absolutely exceptional - so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us, and their kindness didn’t go unnoticed. It’s rare to come across people who make such a lasting impression, but they truly did.

We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already dreaming about coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Waikiki!

Loudest hotel ever! Should be named Do NOT Stay Hotel. Karaoke bar in lobby. Loud music until 2am. At 5am, the garbage trucks, and construction workers wake you up. Entire wall of the room has floor to ceiling windows facing very bright lights. You would think they would have blackout curtains covering them, but no, they chose white sheer curtains that let the light shine right through and are about 2 inches too short. Your room is illuminated all hours of the day and night. All windows of the entire hotel face this way so switching rooms wouldn’t have helped. I couldn’t park on-site because of limited parking. I had to walk 10 minutes away to park at another hotel for $45 per night. The front desk told me after the 1st night that I would be put on a parking waitlist and bumped to the front of it. Also said I would get a 50% discount on my per night parking fee. When I called to inquire about it the 2nd day, they told me there were still 2 people ahead of me. When I called the 3rd day, they had no recollection of me being on the waitlist, and told me parking was still sold out. Don’t get my hopes up if you don’t really intend to give me onsite parking. The hotel staff actually called me while I was out sightseeing to ask me to leave a “real-time” review. Thought they were calling to say parking opened up, but nope. I was woken by guests yelling obscenities to each other out on the balcony and threatening to kill each other. Didn’t feel safe. Only positive was it was clean.

We stayed here for 7 nights as a family of 4. Great location. Property is right next to Waikiki beach. Staff is very helpful. They have amenities like beach towels, coffee throughout the day and free laundry. Hotel is clean and so are rooms. Only nit we had was that the second bed in the room was a sofa bed which was not as comfortable. There is also some street noise.

First of all pictures of the property online need to be updated to recent photos. The property did NOT LOOK as shown online. Staff were okay. Parking was not good at all, you have to pay $45-&50 a day to park in a hotel that you reserve. Overall I would definitely not recommend staying at this property.

As I entered the bathroom is on the right the door to the bathroom cannot open pass vanity, you should put a barn door or open to hallway. The entry door should have a better security lock. The windows shouldn’t be jealousy. Staff is very friendly

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a great deal for the area. Out of their control is the 5am construction next door followed up with the late night clubs all around that will keep you awake.

Warning to female solo travelers. Exteriors door to room once inside the hotel. Windows are old small slants that could easily be broken into. Did not feel safe and would not stay there again.

I could see a part of the ocean from my balcony. I chose the least expensive small room with 2 firm twin beds. A/C works good. Wall TV too small to comfortably watch from bed. No chair or night stand. I had to park 5 blocks away at $50 a night. Coffee only in the morning lobby is just ok. Karaoke bar connected to lobby. Not sure what the $35 resort fee was for? No pool. I wouldn’t consider this a 3 star motel. 1 block from beach was the best. I would not stay here again but spend the extra $85 instead for a better place with parking, breakfast and pool.

CAUTION:The hotelis Not as advertised on sites. Photo do not represent the true rooms/accommodations.
We were sent to a room no larger than a dorm room with 2 twin beds that did not fit in the space, covering the balcony windows. There were no tables, chair or desks.We had to use an ironing board to lay our our items

The shower was so small We could not enter,smaller than an Rv shower.
Slat windows were broken and could not be closed. Air and nose entered the room.
electric cord from AC/Lamp and Tv were tripping hazards.

Since we arrived at late night, we slept in the cot type beds, and left the following morning.

Stay Hotel Waikiki was such a wonderful place to stay during our trip, and it truly made our experience in Hawaii even more special.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtful. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and well prepared. We even found a sweet handwritten note along with macadamia white chocolate covered nuts waiting for us, which was such a lovely touch after a long trip.
We arrived during a time when there was heavy rain and some storm damage around the island, and Carolyne, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and informed. Since it was our first time in Hawaii, she carefully explained everything to us, showed us maps, pointed out areas to avoid, and even recommended places we could still enjoy despite the weather. She took the time to write things down for us, which we really appreciated.
Their kindness truly stood out. My husband is gluten free and could not have the cookies they offer, and since we had just arrived from the airport and had nothing to eat, Carolyne kindly got us potato chips so we could have something before going to sleep. That level of care meant so much to us.
Even small details made a big difference. The hotel has a coffee and tea station with creamers and everything you need, which was especially helpful on rainy mornings when going out for coffee was not ideal. They also always had snacks and cookies available.
Parking was initially full when we arrived, so we had to use a nearby garage.
