The location was great...close to the beach and Kalakaua St. The view was city with a glimpse of the ocean. We had a 1bedroom...plenty of room. Loved the balcony/lanai,coffee every morning out there.
It was clean,the bed was comfortable. Glad there was a kitchen but didn't use it as much as we thought we might.
The staff was very friendly and helpful...any questions thry tried to answer it.

Or else they was very well. When I was looking at the pictures for me and my wife to pick this place it was Hardy determined on where the couch and the bedroom was and hard to do something with only sliding windows when you got a teenage kid on the other side of the wall. Cuz we honestly thought the living room was in a different spot but overall it was great I would recommend it.. close distance to the beach

My family and I stayed in a two bedroom condo with two balconies on the second floor for six nights. Kitchen has good cookware, coffeemaker, utensils, etc and a full sized fridge.. There were enough towels and toiletries for our stay. Beds in each room were firm enough to get a goodnight’s rest. The sofa bed, well, is a sofa bed (we all know what that feels like-so you can’t knock em for that-just be thankful that it’s provided). A closet in the hallway has beach accessories. A/c blew comfortably.
We had trouble with the toilet for a good portion of our stay. Maintenance came up at least three times. My husband also had to give a helping hand during the non-working hours. It was critical because there were five of us. The staff were attentive and friendly whenever we encountered them. The fresh water station is located outside the back door and you’ll need your card key to access the property between 9pm-7am. There is a 24 hour Longs Drugs around the corner and within walking distance of pretty much everything that Waikīkī has to offer, including The Bus.
Overall, the stay was nice. The only issue was with the toilet flushing mechanism. We recommend this property and will book it again if the opportunity arises.

Property served its purpose. Location was great. Cleanliness was good. Kitchen are was convenient and well stocked with dishes and cookware. AC was nice and cold. Bathroom doesn’t have a vanity so counter space for toiletries is very limited. The bathroom sink is very awkward. The fixture is only a few inches away from the bottom of the bowl, so it’s very difficult to get your hands under the faucet.

5 people, 2 adults and 3 teenagers, very comfortable, plenty of space. Two bedroom was quiet, safe, ABC store right out front, 3 minute walk from Waikiki Beach, 2 minute walk to the Outrigger pool, 2 minute walk to nightlife and dining, rental car place directly across the street. No cleaning services, they leave you alone the whole time. Only downside is if you lose a towel (we didn’t) they charge you $50 each…

This hotel definitely has a more classic, dated feel to it, and is showing its age in terms of decor. However, the layout of the rooms was good, and the location was a real plus, making it easy to get around. While it wasn't modern, the room was clean and well-maintained. For travelers on a budget, this could be a decent option, though some updates to the furnishings and overall aesthetic would certainly enhance the experience.

On our 10 day stay, we were first assigned a suite with a couple of issues (noise, inconvenient bathroom design etc -thus 4 stars instead of 5.) So we asked to change rooms. It took a couple of days but the staff was able to provide us a similar suite which suited us much better.
In all, the accommodations were quite good, every member of the staff was friendly, helpful and responsive to our requests. - all excellent.

One thing I forgot to tell reception. There was a problem with the electrical outlets in the bedroom with the a/c unit. On both outlets, only one receptacle was working. I checked the circuit breakers and they all seemed fine. Please have the hotel get an electrician to check.

Our room looked very outdated compared to our friends room on the 9th floor. The AC stopped work a few days later and we got offered a new one or move room a day before we checked out. The staff was very friendly though and threw in one day of parking for us. Also the showers water pressure was extremely low and there is no tub for childrens. The hotel did its job for the week. But I probably will not return.

Zachary and Jacques at the front desk were very friendly and helpful with check in and check out. All other staff I encountered during my stay were also friendly. The room was exactly as advertised…smallish but everything we needed. Full size fridge, stove, even a little dishwasher. You can’t beat the area …. Right in the center of everything and less than 5 min walk to the beach.

We stayed in a unit with 2 bed rooms. spacious for the 5 of us. We love hanging out in the balcony. Can see the hilton fireworks friday night. Great staff. Easy communication. Only 10 min walk to Waikiki beach. Has beach chairs, umbrella, and snorkles in the closet to use. Full kitchen comes in handy if you dont want to spend too much money dinning out. The only down side is the fridge. It can get a bit noisy for the ones who sleep in the sofa bed. Overall is great. We will definately stay there again.

An ABC store is right next door, two restaurants (Japanese and Italian) right next door, and I can see Egg's and Things from my balcony (next street over). The Friday night fireworks can easily been seen from the balcony as well.

Not a lot people traffic so elevator was always available. We had access to The Outrigger hotel pool (3 min walk). Would definitely come back!

I got this 2 bedroom/1 bath for a family of 6. Honestly, only a couple of negatives about this rental. One bathroom for six was challenging. There isn’t a bathroom in the lobby. The only other thing was that one bedroom did not have its separate ac unit. The front desk was kind enough to loan a fan during our stay.
Front desk was amazing. Upon request, towels were exchanged. Laundry facilities are available but the hours didn’t work for us. They do provide detergent and the washer/dryer accepts credit card.
Parking was available and we were able to pay for the week upfront. Remember it is first come first serve! Parking is a tight space. We had a mini van but it was doable.
We had a partial ocean view and was able to view the fireworks on Friday!

We did not like our stay in room 26. We were given a room where the shower had no doors
or anything preventing the water from flowing into the rest of the bathroom. Every time we took a shower the water went out of the shower area and towards other areas of the bathroom, such as by the toilet area. Additionally, the shower head was not working properly. This made for an uncomfortable stay.

Rooms were nice and roomy for our large group. Sofa bed, is well , a sofa bed, fine for smaller guests. Kitchen didn't have measuring spoons or cups. Knifes were dull. Lobby and hallways are kept clean. Rooms where very clean upon arrival. Close walk to beach, parks, restaurants, shopping. Rooms we booked had 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. We would always check before showering if anyone else needed the bathroom first.

I really liked this place more than I thought I would. The property is nearby shopping and restaurant area. There’s an ABC store at the bottom of the hotel, Japanese restaurant and few steps from Lahaina, best shaved ice. You can walk to high end stores within minutes (LV, Hermès’, Gucci, etc) and other known restaurants like Tommy Bahama, Ruth’s Cris, Yard House, Maui Brewing. NO freaking resort fee!! No daily cleaning either which I’m fine with since I don’t need that. They’ll provide extra towels, toiletries, trash…as requested. There’s also a laundry place within the building. You have to reserve your parking ahead because it’s very limited. Don’t get a big car if you don’t need to as parking is tight.

Our room 94 was fully equipped with full size fridge, microwave, stove, toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker, etc but I don’t recommend this for 4 ppl as the pull out sofa bed is AWFUL and the bedroom bed is not that great either. It’s okay, not great. There’s no fan or AC inside the bedroom so it gets pretty warm. That’s why it’s 4 stars, because of the beds. All in all, this unit is seriously due for an upgrade.

The staff at this place are so nice and friendly! Zach at the front desk was so helpful, nice and knowledgeable of the area. Rebecca, the manager was understandable and nice. The cleaning staff, Marie and Eva and Eloy were so nice and accommodating! All in all, I highly recommend this place but manage your expectations.

It’s small nice appartment close to the beach and have access to swimming pool to the outrigger resort
I had a good stay with my little family the kitchen was perfect I saved money there as u know Hawaii is expensive . My routine was everyday going to a new place or beach back around 3 pm eat have a nap then kids wants to go to swimming pool after that walk just behind hotel a really nice street for ice cream .:) I will go back there sure

our family of 4 stayed for a week. My kids loved this place. it like you live in an apartment. It has a stove, microwave, big fridge, blender that you can do drink.
We went to places during the day, got home afternoon, sat outside the balcony enjoyed our snacks, and watched the sunset. So pleasant and truly a vacation.
Plus the staffs are so friendly and so helpful. Especially, Jacque (Zack). He is awesome and excellent customer services from him. Absolutely, we will come back and stay again at this hotel.

Location was good,building is aged but well maintained, service was excellent as was the staff.
Only complaint...on the first night we discovered the sofa bed was broken, night clerk said nothing could be done until the next day so our 2 young boys had to really rough it out sleeping on the floor. Next day it was fixed and the clerk said he'd talk to management about compensation ,like free parking but so far nothing has been offered and we still paid for parking plus a cleaning fee. Because of the EXTRA FEES,I would NOT RECOMMEND staying here. There are many more similar hotels that DO NOT charge these extra expenses.

This hotel was great for my family of 5. The two bedrooms allowed us to have plenty of room to spread out in. By far the best part was the massive lanai! We spent most of our time on the lanai. The sunset was picturesque every single night. And there was a table to eat breakfast and dinner on the lanai. The hotel was in walking distance of many awesome restaurants and stores. The employees were very helpful and kind. My only negatives are: The bed in the couch was disappointing and would only be suited for small children to sleep on. You could feel the metal Support bars through the mattress. Also the floors were extremely dirty. We bought a wet swifter to clean them during our stay. Which is shocking since they charge you such a huge cleaning fee when you check out. Even with the negatives Overall it worked out great for us and I would definitely stay there again.

I loved the room set up. It was bright and the balcony was perfect (not too windy). There was a dish washer which you will definitely appreciate. And the AC is amazing, true life saver. Somethings i didnt like were there were a lit of little scratches all over parts of the wall. There were small ants in the bathroom. And there was barely any staff. Also they start doimg construction at 7am, not cool. Woke me up every morning we were there.

We were quite shocked by the $250 we were charged for cleaning when we left. There was no maid service during our stay, we had to ask for clean towels, etc. when needed. We've stayed at other condos in Hawaii and did not have an extra charge upon checkout. Zach the person at the front desk was amazing! Very friendly, always acknowledging us when we left and came back and always asked if we needed anything. The day person at the desk (don't know his name) barely acknowledged us.

Outrigger Regency

The location is loud, lots of traffic noise and the occasional homeless person yelling. The bed needs to be a King in my opinion the room is big enough for it and it would be more comfortable. Blenders need to be replaced as they are broken or missing parts. The service was great and the front desk was always friendly. Parking costs are outrageous but it is Waikiki the Regency charges $35 a night but you can park at King Kalākaua Plaza for $24 a day. The Regency has in and out privileges but the King Kalākaua Plaza doesn’t so if you use that parking make sure you are done driving for the day.
