This was a great find on what was a suoer busy weekend in Madrid city centre. Location was excellent really in the heart of things but also on a side street that was very quiet. The reception staff were lovely and friendly and the room itself. very spacious. Actually with a well equipped kitchenette. Kettle and coffee machine provided too. I wouid definitely stay again.

I liked the location. It was in walking distance to most of the places I wanted to explore. Although I didn't use it, there is a subway station very close by. For me, because of my age and vision impairment, there was one disadvantage. To get from the registration/entry level, you need to climb a set of stairs to get to the elevator level. Staff helped carry my luggage to my room. I could have called the front desk for help carry it back down on departure, but I didn't.

The room was impeccable! Wonderful shower pressure, comfortable foam beds, and it was unbelievably quiet despite being in the heart of a very lively neighborhood. They do need to add kitchen towels to the kitchenette. That way there is a way to dry your hands and the dishes. The staff were very sweet, however they should have been more willing to help us with our bags up and down the stairs. There are 2 sets of stairs before you can get to the elevator which takes you up to the rooms. We had no idea about that and I am disabled. My poor husband got stuck lifting most of them. Also, the room service is terrible. They use an outside company and we were sent a rotted salad and a fruit bowl that was 100% melon. Its not the fault of the hotel at all, but I'd say skip it if you don't want the possibility of food poisoning.

Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour. Le personnel était très sympathique. Nous avons pu accéder à notre chambre plus tôt, ce qui a été particulièrement apprécié. Des pommes, des bonbons et de l’eau étaient offerts à l’entrée. L’hôtel est situé à deux pas d’une station de métro et à distance de marche de toutes les commodités. Si nous retournons à Madrid, nous choisirons sans hésiter de séjourner à nouveau dans cet hôtel. Nous le recommandons vivement !

My husband and I stayed in a cozy room with kitchenette in June. You must take stairs to second floor to access elevator but staff helped carrying luggage. The room was affordable, clean and comfortable. Staff were kind and responsive. The area was close to transportation and a 10 minute walk to Gran Via. Royal palace and Mercado de San Miguel was about a 20 minute walk. Would stay here again!

The Tribu Malasana is clean, modern and centrally located. I requested a quiet room w a view and got one.🙂You have convenient kitchenette w, sink, frdge, microwave and even stove top. There's a couch, as well. We stayed for 7 days so perfect. Centrally located to most sites on foot. I would stay there again. There are 2 small flights of stairs, which can be an issue w luggage but there is an elevator after those. Reception was so helpful and warm/friendly. No matter who was at the desk, the service was the same.

This was a very nice property. Everything was updated and clean. My only note would be to alert people that you need to walk up a flight of stairs to access the elevators. Not a problem for me, but it could be an issue for those with mobility issues or with heavy baggage.

The kitchenette was very helpful, lovely bathroom and the bed was extremely comfortable. The decor was extremely dreamy and cosy feeling. The room was very relaxing.

The reception staff were very accommodating to any questions.

Locally there are plenty of eating options, coffee houses and the mercardo supermarket has a wide selection of food you can buy to eat straight away.

The Metro station is round the corner, plenty of buses going in all directions and the Grand Via down the road.

Try this place, you will want to come back.

Perfect location for all of Madrid’s tourist attractions, and in a quiet street compared to the majority of its surroundings. The name outside doesn’t match the hotel name which could be changed. Frontage is quite uninspiring but the hotel itself is lovely once inside. Nice and clean, modern hotel but house keeping could be improved, beds were made each day etc, but bathroom mirror and shower cubicle etc not cleaned throughout our stay. Shower sealant starting to show signs of quite superficial cleaning. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Surprised that there is no need to use your room key to enter the reception or lifts out of hours, very unusual in a capital city - we didn’t have any safety concerns but of course there is potential. Walking distance to everywhere, and there is a metro stop just around the corner if needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel, we found all of Madrid to be very noisy at night (as expected), and although in a busy area it is tucked into a side street which means it is quiet overnight. Would definitely stay again!

Highly recommend adding another table for placing luggage instead of on the floor. Staff were responsive and nice. Take note you have to go up a flight of stairs to get to the elevator. Concierge staff helped carry up our luggage. Location is great!! Close to a metro and easy to get a taxi. 10min walk to Gran Via, near a lot of shopping.

For the price we paid, this property is definitely overpriced.

-They didn't even have electric kettle to use nor provide basic things like coffee or tea. Not sure how this property can be categorized as a 3 stars hotel.

-The bathroom door was problematic and needed a hard push and pull to move.

-The shower water pressure was really weak and it took awhile to heat the warm water.

- The walls are so thin we could hear the units next to us very clearly. If you stay on the weekend like we did, be prepared for the noise on the street level.

Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Property was okay but for the price it was quite high. The location is good but some homeless infront of the property area. The bathroom door was quite annoying as it did not cover each end of the doorframe and would slide back if not held. It was clean though and the bed was comfortable.
