A few items to note that I wish I knew booking this resort:
1. the resort is on a major road, there is no security and anyone can walk onto the property.
2. With the resort being on a major road all of the doors for the main building of the resort face the road, resulting in road noise (buses, cars, motorcycles) till late in the night and early morning are heard from your room.
3. To receive a resort towel for the pool you need to give your government ID as collateral.
4. The resort is non smoking (even on the beach) you have to go across the street to a smoking shack.
5. The standard rooms are across the street by the water park and you would have to cross the street or use the tunnel to access the main area and beach.

The resort is run down, needs a major cleaning and a facelift. Beach is small, not enough lounge chairs (arguments happen due to this), deck is peeling paint, have to beg or tip well to receive name brand liquor (all they show on the bar is rail). I should say we do tip well but for the first two days we were told there was no Bacardi but on day 3 suddenly it was there hidden in a cooler. Will not go back. Will give another review on our room with pictures.

The food is disgusting. Hot dogs for breakfast everyday served as ‘sausage’. The pizza dough was raw every time. The stewed chicken had bone shards throughout so really unnerving to eat. Most of the time they served whatever wasn’t eaten the day before. It tasted awful. Fishy taste on chicken, rice, eggs etc. we all got sick from eating there. The rooms were dirty. Toothpaste spray on the mirror. Grim rings in the shower. There’s drains in the bathroom floors that smell like raw sewage. The beds didn’t have mattresses protectors. Old worn out linens. Dirty finger prints on the walls. Boogers & a clump of blood dried to the shower wall. The sliding door to our balcony didn’t lock. Told the front desk but they said it was fine. Completely disregarded issues. Oh and the bugs. Bugs were crawling on the dessert table & dead bugs in our room. Huge dead spider & a dead scorpion in or friends room. They were also told it wasn’t an issue & to clean it up themselves. The bathrooms by the pool lacked toilet seats. The pool has tiles broken all over & at the bottom of it. The deck hasn’t been painted in years so paint chips & splinter everywhere. The waterpark was the grossest of all. I reported that I found human waste, yes, poop, on the stairs up to a slide. They did not close the waterpark. It took over 20 minutes for someone to come over and when they did all they did was sweep it up with a dustpan. This place is unhealthy. You are putting yourself and your family at risk if you book

We felt scammed by this hotel. Nothing was as promised. We selected the junior royal suite with ocean view, for the kitchenette.We have party members with chronic illnesses and we knew we would need to spend extra time in the room.The room did not include the following items as advertised: table and chairs, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, dishware. We let the front desk know,they said they’d send it up immediately, but never did.
The waterslides have 4 slides, the platforms are coming apart, the piping is rusted.
The beach had copious amounts of feces on it - they cleaned the sea weed and feces most days, but not on others. We were told they were turtle feces but it looked human and someone else told us the yachts at the dock next door empty their tanks into the water.
The docks next door are only available by guided tours, the public ferry is $5 cab ride away.
There is 4 restaurants, two serve hot dogs,hamburgers and fries at lunch. One is 3 meal buffet. One is adult only Italian. One lunch spot rotates dinner between Italian and Mexican - must get reservations at 7am. The buffet has the same foods with different sauces daily. Cheap options - chicken thighs, 3 dishes with jicama, grilled onions. Fruit and vegetables were limited. You can only eat food in restaurants. No snacks, except overpriced at boutique.
Activities were inconsistent, sometimes they did them, sometimes they didn’t. Dinner theatre is just theatre, no food,etc.

This resort is dated, as some of the other rooms noted. The contents of the room varied, mine was obviously missing a couch; my friend's room was missing a coffee maker. That being said, I felt that it was clean enough, we had towels and hot water. There was a small room fridge with two sodas and two beers. Our party booked two rooms, which we had requested be adjoining, and I was told before arrival that could not be guaranteed. Upon arrival, we were told that the resort was full and our rooms were about as far apart in the building as one could go. That was disappointing since we had requested this prior to arrival.The food was better than most resorts I've been to. the buffet was ok, the grille was ok. The seated dinners, where you can order from the menu, were pretty decent. That being said, they advertise 5 restaurants on site, which is not factual. The grille also doubles as the mexican and italian dinner restaurants. These need reservations and rotate availability. Ostra and International also share the same space and rotate. In essence, for dinner, there are 3 restaurants - 2 that require reservations and the buffet.The swim up bar. This is one of the reasons that we made the decision to book this resort and it was CLOSED. We were told it's only open in peak season, which was confusing since we were told the resort was full at check in. I wouldnt say we had a bad stay but I would also say that there is some false advertising as far as the amenities.

I reserved 5 jacuzzi rooms....they only had one. The manager gave all 11 of us gold bands which was an upgrade. Staff was great. Room was great. Lots of activities. Made superbowl fun. I wish there was a larger food selection and there were things to eat after 10pm.

Some notes! As far as the saying goes-you get what you pay for here. This was my first time to Mexico and I had no expectations really—I was ready for anything—and it was a good thing I was. The view from our upgraded suite was impeccable. However, the room was full of black mould on the blackout curtains, on furniture, in the bathroom and in the air conditioning-which we left off for the 8 days we stayed. The food was average, the buffet rarely changed and the Italian dinner was a joke. Half cooked pizza and microwave lasagna were not my idea of a romantic meal. We opted to try the other dining option for one dinner and the portions were also small and it seemed like the same deserts from the buffet. There was almost no entertainment—the dance performance in the lobby was decent, but trivia and karaoke were just not what I thought they’d be. I was told a mariachi’s performance would be on one of the nights, but it was trivia again…same game as the week before. a note about the bathroom stall in the theatre area, I got locked inside from a stuck lock and had to slide out of the bottom…I’m a small girl, so it was possible, but anyone else would have been doomed. I even tried calling for help but no one could hear me and I almost had a panic attack. We were followed by staff who would take pictures of guests and then immediately start texting on phones, which did make me feel uncomfortable. The arcade was missing game pieces and the gym had equipment missing also. Nice beach

One of the worst resorts we’ve ever stayed at. We understood the price point, but this place is a dump and nothing like what’s advertised. The ocean view was beautiful—everything else was disgusting. Paper-thin walls, nonstop noise, and mold everywhere, including on the curtains and under the mattress. Food is terrible: one repetitive buffet, embarrassing “Italian” food, and beer so bad we left the resort to buy our own. There are no real activities—everything is broken or missing—and the rusted water park feels unsafe. Security is invasive and aggressive; we were falsely accused of smoking weed and threatened with police. The beach is beautiful but full of plastic. Zero care, zero maintenance. Would never return, not even for free.

First…. We were not greeted when we arrived.
Next…. We had no chairs on our balcony. I asked for a couple of chairs but still didn’t receive them. We had no table and chairs on our main floor… even though we should have. There were no hangars. We had to beg for an extra blanket. We had to ask everyday for wash cloths…. Some days we didn’t get them. When we checked out… the front desk was rude and told us that we couldn’t come back inside the property even though we left our luggage there so that we didn’t have to carry it all around town.

Rooms are really outdated and not taking care of properly they should replace a lot of things. For a 4 star hotel they need to replace stuff like bathroom fixtures, mattresses etc
If the rooms were properly maintained I would stayed again because our kids and us had a good time. Waterpark and the beach is great. Everyone who works there are really nice and kind.It’s an older hotel and it has a character which I really loved.

You get what you pay for. The food variety wasn’t great, and some basics for kids were missing — no pizza, chicken nuggets, or apple juice. No guacamole either. The daytime entertainment for kids and adults was about a C-minus, which is surprising for Mexico.

That said, the hotel was calm, the waterpark was great, and the oceanfront location was very nice. Julio did a great job. Armando at the front desk — no.

Next time, I won’t be cheap. I’ll pay a bit more and get better service, food, and kids’ entertainment.

Excellent service from all staff. Waiter Jose from Ostras was phenomenal. We loved the food there best. Everything on that menu was delicious. We definitely had lots of food options all week.

It is an older building but it’s a beautiful colonial style and right beside the beach. We loved that it was a smaller resort so we never felt it was too crowded. Room was spacious with a wrap around balcony with a view of the marina.

Waterpark was enjoyed by both our boys and the soccer field was a nice perk. The boys also liked the on beach soccer and volleyball.

There was a games room and activities daily for everyone.

We enjoyed the location and walked to El Meco. This was a very affordable option. We also took day trips to Isla Mujeres via the ferry and Xcaret.

We would definitely come back. Thank you to all the staff for the memorable week.

Pretty sure all the 5 star reviews are paid for, or bots. We didn't even stay long enough to fund out about their food after both of the 'premium' suites we booked had black mold. They offered to move us after seeing the mold, apparently for the first time. The next room they offered us was just as bad. We booked at another resort and took 2 ubers to move our family of 8. Now we have to see if we can get reimbursed. I'd highly recommend finding a different resort before spending any money here.

Amazing resort for families.
The water park is cute.
Amazing little beach.

The photographer on the beach was phenomenal.

The difference in sides is weird. If you’re on the main building; the rooms are stunning and comfy.

The side across the road where we were; I will say the rooms are not awesome. The beds felt like a rock. Super sore from those.

We did expect more traditional Mexican food options at the resort but; that’s ok. They have to cater to everyone.

The massage therapist though; I wouldn’t recommend. You lay sans clothing, and he gets VERY CLOSE to “areas”. He did “accidentally” touch my.. area… . He did stop when I moved and voiced my concern though. So there’s that.

The shows were okay but not spectacular. Not much food variety. All excursions are quite far away.

We will stay elsewhere next time but; a nice place all around .

The food at this place is absolutely terrible! Drinks are watered down… Rooms out dated and not the cleanest. We would never go back!
You have to give them your drivers license or passport to get towels for the tiny little pool or the beach and the tried to tell us we needed to pay $25 because we didn’t return our 5 towels, very few of the staff speaks English and they obviously couldn’t count either!
We did like that it was quiet and we had no problems getting chairs, and the beach is small but relaxing and pretty. Our kids enjoyed the water park and the basketball court ( luckily we had brought our own ball because the resort didn’t have one)
As a family we had a wonderful vacation and just decided to spend extra money on leaving the hotel at night to eat. Costas next door is a wonderful restaurant five it a try!

The location is absolutely unmatched, rooms are steps away from the Caribbean ocean. The views are absolutely spectacular. Amenities and activities are minutes away from ferry rides to Isla Mujares, boat club, downtown etc. There is even a water park to kid the kiddos occupied.

The resort itself is on per with resorts in it's class. I will say that this was our second trip to Cancun. The food in this resort is much more flavorful and authentic compared to other resort. It is an older building, but the rooms are spacious (we stayed in a family suite), plenty of room for us. Our room opened up to the beach which was amazing. The guests in this resort were mostly families and a very international crowd.

A many mosquito bite my kids is horrible mosquito, the waiters ignore the customers and everything bad, test food, just egg for breakfast, luncn and dinner just two plates chiken amd fish or beef and hotdog. El personal al llegar trato de engañarnos en ofrecernos vista al mar algo que no le vi sentido porque por eso no lo coji desde antemanos, una el zargazo y otra que vivo frente al mar y no le veo sentido, y se molesto oal yo no aceptarlo. Tambien yo dedicaria un dia completo a mi hijo en el parque de agua algo que no fue asi me obligue a ir a otro lugar y pagar por eso ya que el parque de agua no cumple con las reglas de sanidad, el agua nada de cloro tenia. Y tambien estaba casi por caerse. Como se todo tuviera pega, fue espantoso, el unico servicio que nos gusto fue el del cuerto. Fue un gran servicio pero de lo demas nada que ver.

Our room was bare - no pictures on the wall, no side tables. Moldy bed sheets on the box spring, sliding door was broken (could hardly use it), you could see daylight around the door frame, the lock on the door was a joke. They did not have diet soda (my husband is a diabetic), VERY limited food choices, no fruit available, no kid friendly foods. Our bathroom was very outdated and dingy, we only had a thin sheet and very thin blanket on each bed - which was rock solid! We even paid $150 MORE for an upgrade for this room - not realizing the condition of it! Pool was murky, not very clean and a lot of missing tiles on the ground. Waited a while for service (while the bartender was chatting with coworkers). I needed to provide my drivers license to rent their pool towels!!! We opted to get an Uber and relocated to another hotel (happened to be an hour away and was there 2 weeks ago). Did not feel safe here. Happy we left and got to a better resort.

They advertise laundry service on their website. However when we arrived we were shocked when they told us they do not have any laundry facilities on the resort. Instead we would have to go off of the resort somewhere in town to wash our clothes. Will never stay here again. A HUGE inconvenience, especially if you plan to stay for a bit.

The room was not cleaned at all. We didn’t have lamp shades on our lights. dents in the drywall someone’s head must of got banged up against the wall, front door had a large gap underneath the door, cracked drywall with a bad caulking job, mildew on the curtains, ceiling fan dusty, bath tub had rust inside such as where the soap lays or handle to turn on/ off water, as well as the tub stopper. It had a musty smell inside. I called it the homicide room.

We stayed at All Ritmo from July 15 through July 23. We had an amazing experience. I asked for an upgrade when we checked in and was given one for a small increase in price. Our room was on the 4th floor overlooking the beautiful clear blue waters. The room was enormous, with a beautiful balcony, a large bedroom with two queens beds, a full kitchen, living room and bathroom and walk in closet. The staff was incredibly nice, courteous and helpful. We took advantage of everything they had to offer, the pool was clean, warm, three Jacuzzi tubs and the beach just five steps down. My kids loved the pool games and activities. The trivia games were fun and not to mention the amazing water park. What really drew me to this hotel was the location. It was not in the middle of the Cancun chaos and strip. We were only 15 minutes away, apart from the traffic and noise of the Cancun hotel strip.
The restaurants were very accommodating. I had my daughter she is 12 years old and my son who's is 17 and the Ostras restaurant accommodated us at a 6pm reservation. Amazing seafood dinner, shrimp bisque soup overlooking the ocean. Our vacation was absolutely amazing. Thank you Bernardo, Dana, Kevin and the amazing staff. I would recommend All Ritmo 110%. I booked this resort through Expedia, and what should’ve been a fun family trip turned into a terrifying experience.

On July 3, 2025, my son was badly injured on the pink and yellow water slide. He fell so hard that he suffered a deep laceration to the back of his head, down to the skull. There were no visible warnings, no protective padding, and no staff actively supervising the area.

A lifeguard did clean his wound and file an incident report and checked the slide, before telling us to get a taxi to go to the urgent care, but after we returned from the hospital, no one from the resort followed up. No concern, no acknowledgment, nothing.

I also nearly flew off a different slide myself and another child lost a toenail, confirming the waterpark is unsafe and poorly maintained.

I contacted Expedia for help and was told they couldn’t reach someone with authority at the resort, not once, but twice, even after speaking with a supervisor at Expedia. Their only offer was 100 One Key Cash, not an acceptable offer, so I declined but why do they need my permission to add it? It's still not been applied to my account.

This wasn’t a minor issue. It was a serious injury to a child, and neither the resort nor Expedia took real responsibility.

I do not recommend this waterpark, especially for families. And while the hotel might be okay under normal conditions, the way this was handled shows that if something goes wrong, you’re on your own.

The hotel was nothing like the pictures. The rooms and property were outdated dirty and smelled. The door to our bedroom didn't close 100 % so you can see the outside. The bedding was dirty and dingy even after being replaced.
The beds were uncomfortable but did the job. We wished staffed cleaned up a little better, the pool and surrounding areas were always dirty with cups and trash. The all-inclusive deal was a little weird compared to other locations I have been to in Mexico. The buffet was the same every day for the most part, Breakfast lunch and Dinner. The 2 restaurants they had onsite were ok, you have to make a reservation in order to attend which makes sense with the crowd i just wish we had more food options. I was also a little upset that we could not bring the buffet food to our rooms or pool side. Everything had to stay in the dining room area. The bathroom has a drain on the floor that smelled like swage which we had to cover with a rag. I also update that this was a family Friendly hotel with a waterpark, and we didn't have any good snack options for the kids. No ice cream, Italian ice or Candy. It was the same 3-4 slices of cake at the buffet. The water park was falling apart; someone one will end up getting hurt soon I'm sure of it. The water also smelled awful.
The seaweed made the beach experience awful, I understand it' a major problem at all locations but this location was trying to upsell you to a day pass at a different location with less seaweed

The area around this resort stinks. Additionally, much seaweed in the water, but staff does rake it out regularly. Coverings on beds on the beach were dirty and not changed regularly. Room description inaccurate- reserved a suite, which stated it had a living room, but it was just a large bedroom with just a large bed and not even a chair. Sink drain partially stopped up and housekeeping didn't report it for 5 days. Tub drain had green mold coming up in it. Very limited food choices in the one buffet- same thing basically every day for lunch and dinner. Would not recommend this resort .

What was unique is the labor staff! Very friendly, kind, and helpful, they are trying to do their best within the limited resources they have. The food was underwhelming, very un appetizing and messy. Not high quality ingredients but surprisingly clean, no one got sick through the 6 days stay, so thanks for that.

This was a very clean and welcoming place. We stayed next to a ferry station. The building itself is beautiful, but it could use some updates. Our room was cleaned early mornings throughout our stay. The food was okay. The service was excellent. The beach had seaweed, but the hotel was very good at keeping it clean. Everyday workers were there cleaning the beach and raking the sand. Tbe hotel has a waterpark and a kids club. They also had mini discos, movies, games and tons of things to do for little ones.

this place looks like it is falling apart . the food is super basic and the staff is no help . we were out of Ac for 2 days they ended changing us rooms and the bell desk was upset for helping us he started throwing our luggage around. the new room sheets were extremely dirty and full of hair . we complained and the staff told us it was cheap tickets fault because they control the Hotel. that is a lie I would never stay at this Hotel . the water park looks like its falling a part . we ended up leaving 4 days early going to another Hotel because this one was horrible

Kid friendly however, there’s no elevator so if u have little kids and strollers be prepared to carry them up and down. I asked for a first floor and they said they didn’t have none knowing my reservation was booked with a baby they should have been more mindful. The food was terrible not much of a food choice. Property looks like it’s falling apart.

Asks for more water bottles. We’re told the 2 were complimentary and that’s it even though we had a family of 6.
We wanted to order food late but didn’t speak spanish asked if they could help us order a pizza got a very hard rude no. Water park had brown water. Advertised as all inclusive COMPLETE LIE only beer and tequila. Food was the same everyday. Beach had piles of seaweed and stunk. Only think we were happy with was the cleaning service of the lady. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The hotel is what you make it. It really is a 3 star hotel if you are use to 4 or 5 stars book it and dont waste your money on high expectations because you wont get it here. If you just need Beach, Pool, place to sleep then here is not that bad book it and call it a vacation in mexico. I honestly think the customer service is good which is what made my experience not so bad after all. Everyone was very nice and tried their best. However, I wont be back.

So I got a suite. No microwave. Ask for a plate and fork. We bought a cake for our anniversary they couldn’t accommodate us. No table and chairs in room. What we booked they said it was full so supposedly they upgraded us. I looked up the rooms what they put us in was cheaper then what we got.

This hotel is mostly for nationals and not international- tourist.We booked this hotel because of the water park, but when we got there the water park had black waters, outdated and smell like poop.We decided not too allow our kids to go so we had to leave the hotel for excursions. The room was super outdated and general the hotel/ pool needs to be outdated. The food and service was good but I had better food in Cancun. I tried to get a refund but the hotel refuse to give me a refund. If you want to stay here bc of the water park, the pictures are like 10 years older.

The worst experience of my life, beginning from the moment I arrived at the airport. All locals not only treat you without etiquette, and treat you without respect. Within the first day of my arrival, the tried to guilt-trip many tourists upon arrival. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, they tried to charge me 100 USD to upgrade my room, and when I declined, the tried to pressure me even more by lowering the amount which I declined. When I finally entered the hotel room, It was stripped bare, did not have toothpaste or have any amenities. The food itself was horrible as well as the quality. The workers there did not treat me or my family and children with any respect. This hotel is the best hotel to never visit again. Over 90% of the Mexican people are liars and disrespectful people as they treat Americans horribly. By far the worst travel and hotel experience I have ever had in my life and Ive been in Mexico over 5 times during my life and it has never been so bad. This hotel doesn't even deserve a one-star rating. I will be sharing this review on all available platforms.

While many reviews have noted that this is an older resort, it's worth reiterating. One downside was the resort’s practice of rinsing and reusing single-use drink cups, which felt unhygienic. The food options were typical of a budget all-inclusive — fairly generic and uninspired. If you consider yourself a foodie, you’ll likely end up wanting to dine elsewhere, and unfortunately, the resort’s location makes eating out quite inconvenient.

Overall, if you're seeking a true all-inclusive experience, I would recommend investing in a resort at least double the price. On the other hand, if your goal is to explore, stay active, and sample local cuisine, it would be better to skip the all-inclusive model altogether and book a regular hotel instead.

Stayed here for one week with my 2 children 10 and 8 and had a great time. I’m from UK. It was advertised as a 4-star but is 3 star. It is a no thrills hotel with everything you need, toiletries, towels, bottles of water, pool located to games room, next to pool bar for parents, which is all by the beach, which is great to keep an eye on your kids at all times. The water park is rusty not dirty and a lot of fun and separate so can have a change of scenery. Again this is located next to pool loungers and bar and football pitch, basketball court. Staff were really friendly and helpful, it wasn’t too crowded, and well located for trips to chichen itza, Cenotes and Isla mujeres . As it is very affordable, we were able to leave the hotel for a night and stay in Tulum for the ruins and Xel-Ha (brilliant btw). Food was ok. I’m not a fan of the big AI resorts liked that most guests were Mexican.

Stayed 10 nights here. Resort was clean, friendly, and food was good. Walking distance to smaller Mayan ruins is approximately a 10 min walk and 50 pesos per person to enter the location. The resort had live entertainment and they also did lots for the kids on a daily basis. Lots of activities for the kids. I would recommend this resort for family’s who want to be away from the party see.

Many people say very negative things about All Ritmo but the hotel is absolutely great. Maybe its not the most modern but it has everything you need and is very clean. The food was also delicious and staff were very hepful and super nice. The best part was the room with a view at the marina absolutely stunning and very calming. Advertised wifi in the room, which there was not. You have to stay in the lobby to get wifi.
Food was ok, very repetitive. (Same dessert every single day)
Beach is beautiful but a big lack of chairs or seating. Beach loungers were very uncomfortable.
