WOW! Did not expect such a beautiful stay as the one we had. My group had 2 rooms and they were both suites- ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. It was like a small apartment fully equipped with a washer and dryer! My parents absolutely loved this place. The entire staff was so pleasant especially the person who checked us in unfortunately I did for get his name. Very pleasant stay, we are so happy.

This is a stunning resort! Each time I return, it gets even better. I always feel like family here and so safe. I highly recommend booking excursions with Ben, who is located on the private beach; he is trustworthy and reliable. I can't wait to return!

The property was well maintained overall (didn't love the showers), but had an issue with the washing machine and it was resolved immediately. Housekeeping, maintenance, waitstaff, and bartenders were all extremely friendly and courteous. Service was prompt. Not much to do in the evenings aside from dinner. No entertainment, or nice bar areas at night. During a medical emergency- there was a few issues with transporation to the hospital and then an unpleasant moment with the concierge afterward. But overall a great resort.

Villa del Palmar Cancun Luxury Beach Resort offers a sophisticated yet family-friendly atmosphere, perfect for families, friends, or couples seeking an escape from busy city life. The property is grand, offering ample beach access and a convenient 10-minute walk to the Punta Sam ferry for trips to Isla Mujeres. My room was upgraded to a partial ocean villa suite, which featured a lanai extending the full length of the unit, complete with patio furniture and a hammock.
The suite was well-equipped with a laundry closet, a full kitchen, and a pull-out couch in a large common area serviced by a full bathroom. The primary bedroom included a jetted tub and a separate shower, and I was pleased to find a Nespresso machine included with the kitchen amenities. I opted for the \"room only\" package rather than the all-inclusive plan, and I highly recommend this option. The on-site restaurants follow strict schedules; if you miss the breakfast buffet hours, there are few other nearby options unless you travel back into the city. Having a full kitchen is optimal for preparing your own meals on your own time.
The property has three pools, two family
pools and one adult section. Rooms located near the family pools tend to pick up more pool and activity noise.
If a non-family vibe is required, the property next door offers adults only pools however it shares the beach with Villa del Palmar.
Fair warning, the distance from city center requires a didi or Uber but the beaches make it worth it.

The property was absolutely wonderful. From the moment you arrive you are treated like a celebrity, with fresh cool towels to wipe down with, check in was a breeze, the use of a bracelet for room access and purchases is so nice and worry free. The rooms are spectacular with amazing views, fully stocked mini fridge, and lots of space to move around. The staff was absolutely wonderful, always passing with a smile, a hand over their heart and a \"Buenos Dias\". The food was mostly amazing (some exceptions, but that can likely just be chalked up to personal preferences, overall food is a definite 9.5/10). The only thing I would say would be nice is a bit more in the way of nightlife and entertainment, but if that isnt your thing and you prefer to just relax and maybe watch some TV or a movie at night, you will love this place.

A big thank you and kudos to our 2 favorite staglff members from the week, Daniel at the poolside bar who was always friendly and made amazing drinks, and Ruben who was there almost every day by the pool, who was always so friendly and really went out of his way to make us feel welcome.

The rooms were beautiful. The property was amazing. Everything about this place was great. Staff members were super helpful, happy, and friendly. Highly recommend the place.

Long story but, I originally only planned on staying here for the last night of our vacation (Sunday night, leave Monday) but, due to weather issues back at home. I couldn’t get a flight home until Thursday. Luckily this place has availability to extend my stay. Very helpful in a tough situation.

We did one of the garden rooms the first night without all inclusive (again was supposed to be just one night). We loved the first floor level especially for the four year old. He could just walk out and enjoy the lawn between the pool. Very easy location for the kids without having to deal with an elevator. Remaining nights we had a one bedroom with a king and pull out couch. It was huge. Beautiful spot. We ended up doing the all inclusive for remaining stay and that was a good call. The property is kind of isolated and far from the main part of Cancun so, you are kind of forced to eat on site. However, there are so many food options that are really good.

Gorgeous room and property. The staff was always very friendly and eager to help. Food was DELICIOUS. Be sure to make reservations well ahead of time at the restaurants. Also get towels on chairs on the beach or by the pool very early to reserve them. They go quickly. We took the catamaran to Isla which was amazing. We were able to get the VIP discount by enduring the sales pitch. Warning: They push HARD to get you to sign up, and it took up nearly two hours of our morning. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay.

I can't say enough great things about this great All-In. The staff are friendly and professional. Our room and the property are clean and well maintained. The buffet at Caprichos is awesome and had a lot of vegan options for me, most of the other restaurants had few options but able to accommodate. I loved the gentle music that played on the grounds in the morning, adding to a blissful sunrise. The aquafit class was more fun than I thought it would be. I didn't make a morning yoga class, it would be great if there was an evening yoga class. One of the reasons I booked here was because a ferry to Isla Mujeres is walking distance but I found out the times are very restrictive so we took Ubers to and from Puerto Juarez which were less than $10CDN each way so we could get the ferry that runs every half hour or so. There was a bit of seaweed on the beach but it was cleaned frequently and wasn't a big deal. The sand is beautiful and there is plenty of seating. I would definitely come back and have already recommended to friends. Thanks everyone at Villa del Palmar for such a relaxing vacation.

The property is beautiful and exceptionally well maintained. The staff is courteous, attentive, and always willing to help. We especially enjoyed the calm music around the pool in the mornings, which gradually became more lively as the day went on. The rooms are very comfortable, and the suites with kitchens are beautiful.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. One area for improvement would be the décor and ambience of the Italian restaurant, Davino. Adding placemats, dimming the lighting, and creating a cozier atmosphere would greatly enhance the dining experience. While the food itself was good, the overall setting felt more like a cafeteria than an Italian restaurant, and improved décor would make a big difference.

One final suggestion would be to clarify the $50 USD daily resort credit. In practice, only 20% of the total food, drink, or eligible service bill can be applied per transaction. It would be clearer to state that guests receive a 20% discount on eligible purchases, up to a maximum of $50 per day.

Overall, we had a very good experience and would most likely return.

- the concierge people not willing to give us information about activities without the tour to the next hotel to sell the time share which ruined a part of our trip. Some of them were very aggressive and absolutely rude.

- one night for 9-10hours there was power outage and it kept going off and on making noise for a second a bunch of times at night. Room got warm since there was no AC and loud so we could not sleep well at all but nothing heard from the hotel next morning .

- some of the servers at the pool never came back after we requested to take our orders.

- some of the servers at the restaurants were pushy about tips which made us feel uncomfortable.

- most of people use just one pool there and it’s not that great. Other pools are ‘private to special members’ or ‘adults only’ or too cold.

- the activities at the hotel is very limited and also not worth to try.

We definitely are not coming back to this hotel and would not recommend.

We have stayed here several times and we know what to expect. It’s always clean, the food is all decent. Breakfasts are overpriced at the buffet, but the market will take care of you for a fraction of the price (still overpriced for what it is)

We enjoyed Zama and Divino this time as well as taking an uber into Cancun for a few odd resort meals and to see some culture. Check out Parque las Palapas for some good authentic food options.

I made again, the typical mistake of accepting a mediocre breakfast for listening to a \"membership\" presentation. Despite telling them we are going to say no to any offer, they said it didn't matter, etc. Well, at the last moment, the inevitable hard faces were shown by the sales team, specially a not very nice supervisor who was impolite. What a bad experience! Because of him I will never return nor recommend any of my relatives or friends to go there. He won! :)

My only complaint for an all inclusive hotel is the fact that you get a bill every time that you order something. Although you do not have to pay since it is all inclusive, but you get asked to give a tip.
For me this was so annoying.
Besides that everything was perfect.
If the hotel eliminates this procedure I would return as many times as possible.

The balcony was very spacious in the 1 bedroom condo. We enjoyed meals out there as well as the hammock. The condo itself was spacious and decorated well, with a washer/dryer combo which I really appreciated. Take note, this resort is in Punta Sam not Cancun as advertised. The weather was TERRIBLE and we were forced to spend most of our stay in the condo.

I noticed little small bugs crawling around on the night stands in the bedrooms. And no, I wasn't eating any food in the bedroom. It wasn't a big deal, as I noticed these little bugs crawling around other areas in the resort. I did what I did with the others, killed them with my shoe and kept it moving. Well, it wasn't until I packed my suitcase that I realized these small bugs were crawling everywhere on my suitcase and throughout. The bellman noticed them as well and said they were small ants and they won't hurt anything. I called down to the manager Carlos and they sent him to my room. He insulted me by stating they don't have bugs and I'm must have brought them with me. It was unbelievable. There are bugs everywhere in Mexico. Between the biting flies, mosquitos and apparently ants, I was insulted. Once I showed my displeasure for being insulted the manager tried to say he wasn't trying to insult me while simultaneously telling me they don't have bugs. All this while I have video of the little bugs crawling throughout my bag which I had to unpack, shake and repack just minutes before leaving for the airport.

The air conditioning did not work both days. I stayed there and they would not put me in another room or refund my money or even give me compensation of any sorts. I was also placed next to the water tanks, which were loud all day and night. I would stay away from this property until they get new management.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. The service was excellent, and the room was beautiful. The only downside was the shower—the water pressure was very weak, and it took a long time to get hot. Aside from that, the food selection was great, and the spa was absolutely amazing and enjoyable. I’m already planning my next trip here. Such a beautiful place with wonderful people!

Absolutely incredible! Best. Resort. Experience. Ever.
If you are trying to decide where to go for your all-inclusive vacation, look no further. This is the place!
From the moment we arrived, we (regular people) were treated like royalty. We were greeted with cold cloths, sparkling wine, and helpful guidance. We were celebrating a milestone birthday, and we communicated that to staff throughout our stay with incredible results.
That initial amazing treatment and level of service continued throughout our four-night stay. Every interaction with staff was warm and responsive. Each day brought a new unexpected kindness. Every restaurant did a superb job of recognizing the celebratory event and adding personal flair to our experience. This experience exceeded expectations that we didn't even know existed.
We are exceedingly grateful to the management and employees at Villa Del Palmar for making this occasion even more special than we had hoped. Many thanks to all who helped make this such a wonderful experience: housekeeping, wait staff, room service, welcome staff, restaurant workers, front desk, and literally every employee with whom we had the pleasure to interact. You are what made this experience so special!

Came during low season beginning of September and the hotel felt empty which was great. There was still activities for kids and adults to join. The staff was very accommodating. The only 2 things we disliked were 1. hotels food/ although drinks were great. 2. Water smell was awful. Taking a shower didn’t make you feel fresh and clean because the water smelled like sewer.

I love love this Resort !!!!!

It’s definitely our favorite Resort . We live here in Mexico .. and it’s by far one of the best!I love the Spa! I love the restaurants I love the rooms! I come here to ReLAx! Unwind! And eat! If you haven’t stayed here … you definitely need to put it on your Bucket List!

Absolutely perfect ! We love coming here !! We line in isla Mujeres but we come here to take a mini vacation away from home! Love the rooms ! Love the bathtub and all the restaurant choices!! Thank you!
