Keeping in mind that this place is still getting its sea legs since opening just 7 months ago, I take into consideration that they are inching closer to the desired resort experience.

The good is the place is huge and well maintained overall, rooms are clean and grounds are immaculate. The food was solid, at times just ok (buffet) and other times delicious (Mexican restaurant). Staff was very friendly too.

Areas that I would say could use improvement, adding fans to outdoor seating areas in the restaurants. With the climate there it would make those areas much more pleasant. The beach is nice and unfortunately they are dealing with bad sargassum issues like most of the Caribbean. They do what they can and I will leave it at that. Disappointed that marketplace was closed so often but I understand due to the relatively smaller amount of visitors but it limited the food choices especially around lunch time.

Overall I give the resort an 8.5/10 and have no doubt it will continue to improve in all of these areas and I thank the entire staff for making this a memorable vacation!

Overall, our experience at this hotel was disappointing and did not meet the standards we would expect from a five-star resort.

One of the biggest issues was the food service. On two separate occasions, in two different restaurants, members of our group never received their meals and eventually left without eating. Service at several bars was also inconsistent. Basic ingredients and garnishes were often unavailable, and the staff appeared overwhelmed, tired, and understaffed, resulting in very slow service.

Housekeeping was another concern. Our room was not consistently cleaned to an acceptable standard. We frequently had to call and request towels because hand towels and face towels were removed and not replaced. This happened multiple times during our stay.

The Kids Club was also disappointing, as it remained closed until 5:00 p.m. each day, which limited the activities available for families traveling with children.

In addition, the property itself appeared poorly maintained. Several areas already showed signs of damage and wear. We also noticed that the sheets and bedding in our room often felt damp, which made our stay uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, the overall experience did not reflect the quality expected from a five-star hotel. Based on our experience, we would not choose to return and would have difficulty recommending this property to others.

The service at the Majestic was exceptional. All staff throughout the hotel, at the bars and the restaurants provided excellent service, always very nice, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and spacious and comfortable beds. Anai our room steward always made sure our room was clean, she was the best!! Majestic really stands out for their service model. We have stayed at many hotels in Cancun but Majestic goes beyond by providing butler service. Our butler, Derian provided exceptional service. He made sure we were happy from the moment we checked in. He made sure we had everything we needed until the last day. We will definitely return to this hotel again.

Room- room was very big and modern. We are a family of 4 and had 3 beds in total, 1 king and 2 queen. It lacked garbage bags/trash bins, the only place we could throw away our trash was by the toilets. My family also loved how there there were 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 3 sinks to use! No one was rushing anyone. Housekeeping could've been better, they will make the room looks clean but we would see the counters weren't wiped and water bottles and snacks weren't refilled.

Food- we loved the Japanese, Indian, and French restaurant. Disappointed with the steak house, the plating was definitely not 5 star worthy. The seafood served was well worth it. We loved the ice creams (especially pistachio and Ferrero flavours)

Butler- our butler was Mauricio and he met all our demands in a timely manner, though I wished they would've put a banner outside for my parents anniversary like what others got, but thats okay cuz they were happy anyways.

Night life- they offered shows I haven't seen in other resorts which we appreciate. The night club is a hit or miss with their songs.

Day life- not much day life going on. Didn't know there was foam party until we saw it in the main pool and by the time we got there it was over, I was really looking forward to that too.

The one problem I had was the staff where you check in and check out on a family side,Some of them were very rude.They do not belong in hospitality business! also, some staff in restaurants do not speak any English at all. They were all very nice,But we had a very hard time getting what we want, because they could not understand our order.. otherwise everything was great!

As frequent visitors to Cancun with experience staying at more than 10 different resorts in the region, I can confidently say that Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres has claimed the absolute top spot on our list. The resort itself is impeccable, offering a vibrant yet sophisticated atmosphere, outstanding service, and excellent restaurants. What we love most is how beautifully it balances privacy for adults while remaining a fantastic destination for families.

The service here is truly next-level. A massive thank you to our butler, Aaron, who was incredibly attentive, ensured we understood all the amenities, and anticipated our every need. Registration at reception was a breeze thanks to Luis, who looked after us with great care. And a special shout-out to Diego at breakfast—he makes the absolute best omelets!

Our accommodations were flawless; having a room with a private rooftop pool was a massive highlight, providing the perfect tranquil escape for some quiet rest. The beach area is also pristine and highly recommended, whether you are traveling as a couple or with family.

Excellent all around. We are already looking forward to our return this September!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Majestic Mirage for 2 weeks. This was our 12th all inclusive Mexico holiday (including the Elegance next door) and this trip was by far the best!!

The service was beyond perfect! All the staff went above and beyond to make you happy. I watched alot of people not tip and they also received great service. The resort has so many great staff but our favorites were Francisco, Pamela, Hector and Martin are fabulous bartenders. Baez and Eddy our pool servers made sure we were NEVER without a cold drink. Derian our butler always communicated the events of the day and let us know what time he started that day. He was always quick to reply and booked our reservations for the restaurants. Our last night he also decorated our room with rose petals and balloons. This was a very nice surprise!

The resort recently opened and lots of reviews are saying they are still working out issues. This is far from the truth this resort is running very smoothly and we heard no complaints from others at the resort. Hope to go back again.

The headline on Majestic Mirage is we felt as though we got far more value than we expected. We expected a higher end resort experience as a baseline. The level of service- particularly from the staff around the private and community pools was outstanding. We barely had to lift a finger. That's saying a lot coming from a family who typically doesn't wait or need to be \"waited on\". We are more than comfortable going to the bar and ordering for ourselves. You just don't have to. They are incredibly friendly, and personable staff who go way above and beyond for the guests.
Luis will be the high water mark for any other resort visit we have in the future. He was the MVP of our trip. He took the trip from a 10/10 to an 11/10. Others like Abrahim, Enrique, Andreas, Jhonny (to name a few) are cut from the same cloth. Incredible staff.
The room looked exactly as advertised. Huge, clean, and modern. Stocked bar. Two large screen TVs. Incredible bath and walk in shower.
While it's a relatively large resort, everything is strategically placed and you are never far from amenities.
Common lounge areas for guests are placed throughout the grounds so you can dip in, grab beach towels, liquor, snacks, etc or just to escape the heat for a moment or two. Each of these areas are impeccably clean, well kept, and had staff ready and available to assist.
The beach was clean, free of seaweed and had wait staff ready and waiting.

I recently visited with my 6 month old and husband and we loved our stay. We had a complimentary crib in our suite which was very spacious and cleaned everyday . Property was beautiful and we have no complaints about the food. I will mention when ordering room service the quality of food wasn’t the best but when visiting any of the buffets and restaurants it was excellent. Staff was helpful but we had an issue with bell boys never showing up to collect our luggage from our room for checkout . Overall it felt relaxing , calm and spacious the beaches were beautiful . Very kid friendly . I do wish they had more variety and options when it comes to entertainment but overall we enjoyed our stay with only a couple minor inconveniences.

Beautiful resort, a little on the small side. Had the oceanfront plunge pool suite. The plunge pool was the highlight of the whole resort... a perfect setting for day or night views... the resort seemed a little rushed to be open... water would leak from the shower to the washroom. The entertainment team was very subpar to what im used to... interaction with them was very minimal... quite disappointing... the schedule was constantly changed and made it difficult to figure out what was going on for the day. The white party was good other than it ending an hour before it was supposed to. The shows and food were a 8 out of 10... stayed at mirage punta cana twice before here and the experience there was far beyond my expectations. Would highly recommend staying there instead of costa mujeres unfortunately.

My parents, wife, and I just finished our first trip to Mexico and our first stay at a Majestic property. We will be back!

Everything about the experience was top notch! From check in, to the restaurants, interactions with various staff, to our check out experience - it was all superb!

A quick shout out to several of the staff who made our trip even more memorable. First up was our butler, Luis Alegria. My wife had read many reviews stating he was fantastic - and he lived up to them all! Great communication while maintaining your privacy while enjoying your vacation. Luis is a true gem! Several others also had a hand in making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. In no particular order, they are: Armando the Porter who saw us to our rooms and ensured we were settled before moving onto his next duties; Jesus Toledo (makes the best drinks at the Sports Bar); Eric “the red”, his compatriot (whose name I have sadly not been able to recall for this review - a shortcoming of mine, not a reflection on him), and “fake” Erick at the Seafood Restaurant made our evening there quite memorable; Jorge the poolside “drink guy” - always a smile on his face and cheer in his voice; Wilberth who did the Spanish lessons and gave a great short history on Mexico; and last, but not least, was Alejandro at the main lobby bar - a true wizard for mixing cocktails and sharing good stories.
We all had a spectacular time. Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres is a beautiful resort with phenomenal staff!

Rooms were great. Had a plunge pool room. Views were spectacular. We were across from wedding venue so got to see a couple of weddings. Some weddings were louder than others. It did not bother us at all, but if you desire quiet or go to bed early this room would probably not be for you (2534). Our butler Frank took good care of us. He went over and above getting us things we asked for. Beach of course had sargassum but was nice plenty of seats and Bali beds. I found the palapas to be too close together and low to ground. We mainly used adult pool outside of building 2. It was the perfect spot for us. The bartenders were amazing. I would say it is the quietest pool of the resort so if you enjoy more lively atmosphere the other adult pool may be a better option. Food was very good for all inclusive.

Our 7 day visit in April 2026 was excellent. Building 4 swim out room was perfect for our end of beach day relaxation with Luis keeping us well hydrated as often as we asked! ( shout out from Marco, Pollo, and Patricio from SpongeBob---yes Luis was super fun) . Our butler Edgar was amazing ---we aren't super butler needy people but he would keep us updated on the days events and check in in person at least once a day to make sure everything was going well.
Food was great.....no complaints
Room amazing, open concept bathroom which I will never understand but that seems to be the thing. There is an extra private half bath in the living room area which is great.
Some sargassum on the beach a few days, can't be helped as it is unusually bad this year. Otherwise beach is great, soft sand, no problem getting bali beds or palaces. The palaces are too close together however and the umbrellas are too low. This should really be remedied.
while it seems like this resort was rushed to open in December, staff are everywhere fixing the grout, paint splashes etc so I see this issue being remedied. Good on Majestic.
entertainment was typical all inclusive, the husbands liked the wrestling. We were looking forward to Queen tribute which didn't happen for some reason.
All in all, great vacation and we would return!

Been to 20+ Mexican resorts in my life. This is literally my favorite. Stayed 5 nights and wanted to cry I dint book longer.

All staff was utterly incredible. So friendly and helpful. I want to give a particular shoutout to Stelian and Gustavo who went above and beyond to make this literally my favorite resort.

Steakhouse and Indian were my favorite, but all restaurants were good.

Has my favorite layout and design of any resort I’ve been too. It’s clean and smells fresh at all times.

After reading some questionable reviews online we were nervous to come here. After an 8-day stay here I'm convinced that many of the reviews we see online that are negative are either faults or people that feel like they're entitled to everything. We had nothing but an amazing experience here. The staff the food the drinks the facility were all beyond amazing. We stayed for 8 days and had nothing but a good time. We travel a lot to many all inclusives and we have yet to go back to one a second time but this one will be different for us as we are already planning to go back next year. We have never felt so welcome and so taken care of. Our Butler Maria was always going above and beyond doing things for us like decorating our room setting up a special romantic bath and everything things we didn't even ask for. There was always plenty of food and it was always so good. We were always able to find places to sit when we wanted to go around the pools and the staff are right there always offering to get us anything we wanted. There are so many bars around the properties and they make the best drinks that we've ever had anywhere. We were worried about the water being cold and that was not the case. Using an app we never found any water less than 74°, and that was in our swim-up. The pools are heated if you get in them you will find places where the hot water is coming into them they are just big pools and lots of wind unfortunately cool them down. A+++++++

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful 5-star resort in Cancun. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The resort is stunning, very clean, and perfectly maintained.

All the staff were polite at all times and always willing to help with a smile. Their service truly made our experience even better.

The childcare services and water park were great, perfect for families and kept the kids entertained the entire time.

The food was excellent, with many delicious options to choose from every day. The beach was gorgeous, with clear water and soft sand—perfect for relaxing.

Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Our family of four (parents and two teenagers) had a great holiday here! The resort is very new and the grounds are beautiful. The water slides and small lazy river were lots of fun. In addition to the buffet we also dined at the steakhouse, Japanese teppanyaki restaurant and French restaurant. Staff member Lalo was a huge help with making reservations, arranging a late check out, supplying beach towels and going above and beyond with birthday decorations and special extras. There is some seaweed in the ocean and on the beach but we still had a great time swimming and enjoying the cabanas. Our family loved our stay and would definitely come back for another holiday!

Just got back from Majestic Mirage Costa Mujeres and honestly—easy 5 stars.

From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. Our butler, Val, was absolutely incredible. Every time we needed anything, she was there immediately—friendly, attentive, and truly made the whole experience seamless. 100% worth it.

Huge shoutout to Israel at the main bar—this guy is next level. We gave him a rough idea of what we liked and just let him do his thing… and wow. Every drink he made was creative and spot-on. Easily one of the highlights of the trip.

The room was amazing—we stayed in a Sky View plunge pool suite with a king bed and absolutely loved it. Nothing but great things to say. Having that private plunge pool and the overall setup just made the experience even better.

The food? Five stars across the board. The Italian restaurant was so good we kept going back for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And the steakhouse… unreal. Anything you order, you’re going to love.

The nighttime entertainment was a blast every single night. The Queen tribute show was incredible, the Michael Jackson performance was seriously impressive, and everything they put on was just fun and high energy. We looked forward to it every night.

The entire resort delivers—service, atmosphere, food, everything. Couldn’t say enough good things.

And oddly enough… best resort hair dryers ever. No joke. My wife hasn’t stopped talking about it—they’re that good.

We’ll definitely be back.

There’s really no such thing as a true five-out-of-five in my opinion — and the reality is I probably can’t afford the kind of place that would actually deserve that rating. That being said, this resort came pretty close.

We went with another family - four kids between the ages of three and eleven - and everyone had an incredible time. The property itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The amenities are excellent, the gym is fantastic, and the entertainment throughout the resort was great.

The kids’ club is very good, although I would say it’s best suited for kids who are a bit past the toddler stage. The food was consistently very good, and the beach, pools, and water park were all highlights for the kids.

Overall, we had an amazing stay and genuinely have no complaints. I would absolutely recommend it.

We came here with our daughter’s family, including 3 boys aged 0-5, and stayed a few additional days after they left. We all had a great time, sampling the various restaurants, pools, including our personal rooftop pool, and the beach. The resort put on multiple shows, including a well-executed Mexican fiesta, and music was everywhere, whether piped in or one of many live performers. We recently stayed 9 nights at Majestic Mirage for our anniversary in an ocean-facing rooftop pool room, and overall we had a wonderful vacation.

The room itself was fantastic—spacious, beautiful, and very comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the mini fridge was stocked daily, which we really appreciated. One small thing we did miss was the aromatherapy in the room, which we had when we stayed at Majestic Elegance next door previously. It was such a nice touch there.

Housekeeping was excellent. Our room was very clean every day, and Vicky (our room attendant) made sure we always had plenty of fresh towels and everything we needed. Her attention to detail was appreciated.

The staff throughout the resort were truly the highlight of our stay. A special thank you to Fili, one of the bartenders, who was super personable, friendly, and kind. He always took the time to talk with us, make great drinks and made every visit to the bar fun. José Louis, another bartender, was also fantastic and provided great service.

Our butler Ana was sweet and helpful, always checking in and making sure we were taken care of.

At the Italian restaurant for breakfast and lunch, Gasper and the lovely hostess there ( forgot her name sorry) were incredibly friendly, attentive, and eager to please. The food there was great and we looked forward to going back.

We had a great 9-night stay, and the wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, and relaxing atmosphere made for a memorable vacation.

The spa was amazing and our butler was equally amazing. However the buildings and rooms did not appear to be new. The walls in many places were patched up. Often i found my self questioning how it could only be a few months old

The place is spotless even all the restrooms around the hotel and they also keep all the restrooms smelling good. Good food. Having your own butler is awesome and if you can request one ask for Octavio. Only had a couple issues and one of them was kinda a big deal. We had a Bday cake set up for after dinner and it never came and my wife did remind the woman that greets you at the restaurant and to make sure she understood us my wife told her in Spanish but even then we felt like the woman just dusted us off.

This is a wonderful resort. Food is above average for an AI. French restaurant is excellent and piano player is a lovely addition to the ambiance. Indian restaurant was excellent as well. We never had to wait too long for our meals and meats were cooked as ordered. Beach is beautiful. Staff is excellent. Grounds are clean and has lovely landscaping now. They continue to add more greenery. Shout out to Tete our butler and Luis on the beach bringing us our cocktails. Suites are large and clean. We really enjoyed our week there.

Beautiful resort, rooms, beach and pools. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. Raul was our Butker and he did a fantastic job for us and was very quick to assist. The nightly shows were great and they had a show most nights we were there. The only room for improvement would be that there were some areas where it looks like the painting and a few other finishing touches were messy.

Overall our stay was great except for the fact that the complex is not fully completed. Fire alarms were going off intermittently as well workers were still trying to complete tile grouting and elevators in some sections were not operating.
On the positive side food and entertainment were good.

We had such a great vacation super nice people especially our butler stelain who was so attentive to every details from the very beginning we spend 21 days at the majestic mirage. Waiters at every restaurants and all the hostesse were just amazing always greeting you with a smile on their face.
We will without a doubt be back to see all our new friends we made.

Staff are amazing. Go above and beyond. Levi (both) and Bladamir… at the lower bar were the best!
All the staff at the restaurant were extremely attentive. Never a bad experience! Steakhouse and French restaurants, in our opinion, are the best. Italian was just ok. Buffets were ok but we are not big fan of buffets. Only options for breakfast and lunch.
The biggest pain, is the daily hunt for beach and pool chairs. Ppl put stuff out really early and on many occasions never show up at all. Or they put stuff on chairs at the beach and the pool. This needs to be monitored. Also don’t think they have enough chairs for the volume of guests.

Staff is polite and helpful. Food was good in all Restaurants except for steakhouse, we did not have good experience there. Rooms are spacious, some constructions is on going.. Rooms had musty odor, we were told it was from air conditioner. Beach is nice and sandy. Resort's landscape is beautiful.

Lobby was stunning, lobby and piano bars were excellent, food was great, except the Japanese advised shellfish allergy sat us and the chef advised all food made on same board would not separate it for us so we had to leave. Very disappointed first resort this has ever happened at. Butler Aaron was great. We originally had rooms 3117 and 3118 both smelled of sewage and caused headaches from the suffer and showers leaked and the swimup were unusable as the water was colder than the attic. Block 3000 is in the shade all day. Moved to building 4000 no sewage smells at all and no shower leaks and the swimup was a beautiful temperature and we enjoyed it all day everyday. They do need a dedicated server back there or build a bar back there. We would walk and get our own drinks from other bars or fill our bags of the lounge beer.
Night shows were hit or miss.
Cafe was delicious and had a lot.
Tried the sports bar once for breakfast and was told they don’t do breakfast and then tried one day for lunch and were told it would be a long time before someone could take an order for us as only one guy working the bar and had 10 people asking for shots. So that was a bust.
Tried the Italian restaurant for lunch and after 28 mins and trying to get a waiter to come to us to even just offer water we got up and left
This hotel opened too soon if I was senior management I would be mad past the lobby it was rushed and the resort looks 10+ yrs old not elegant
