The property is fairly new so for me there was nothing major to complain about. The Staff was great, good food, pools were clean and not over crowded, and the room was clean and well maintained each day. My one and only issue, which is not major, is the property doesn’t have traditional irons and ironing boards. They use steamers which don’t work well with certain material.
I will definitely return!!

Beautiful facilities. Loved the spacious room. We had 2 queen beds and a couch. Loved the lazy river. (Just wished they could turn off some of the water that they have spraying down under the bridges. You have to go through it and it is hard to hold a drink and not get it wet). The food was delicious! Staff were very friendly! I would go back in the winter months, as I didn't like the sargassum on the beach. (Early June trip)

There is no shade. People were hiding in the shadows of the lazy river. They were at the pool bar drinking and floating. Few restrooms. You either run to the room or wait in line. Who knows how they relieved themselves. Figuring out meals was terrible. We were forced to use room service. Food not good except lunch buffet. Lobby bar is nice but drinks are tiny. No service around the pool unless you are next to the bar or make friends with staff. Pools are great but you have to really be careful about restrooms. They asked me about my divorced wife to try to sell me something. Resturants are a mystery. Sometimes open or not and the app is a useless website. The resort is new and is in good shape, staff seems nice. No nightly entertainment unless you like bowling and gambling. We saw a show which was good but the other guests made the show barely watchable they were so drunk. This is a college frat or wanna be frat resort that could be nice if they were focused on keeping real frequent travelers instead of selling privileged rooms to fake frat boys and family. I was invited back. My neighbors playing loud music at 11pm and making out like girls gone wild pointed me in another direction. Overall, no thanks.

Bettyna is the BEST!!!!! Super friendly, attentive, and provided amazing service throughout our stay. We absolutely loved her!
Victor was also fantastic and even made us custom bracelets by the pool, which was such a fun touch.
Poolside food options: We’d love to see lighter and more casual options by the pool. The burger spot wasn’t our favorite, and we found ourselves wishing for things like wings, mini empanadas, fries, and other snack-style foods that many resorts offer.
Poolside dining: This was the first resort we’ve visited that didn’t allow guests to eat at their pool chairs. Being able to enjoy food while relaxing by the pool would greatly improve the experience.
The drinks: The liquor selection was great, and the pours were definitely generous—which we appreciated!
Bracelet quality: The bracelet experience was fun, but for a $100 charge, we’d expect a higher-quality material. The knot on ours started slipping on the first day, and the bracelet felt less durable than expected.
Loyalty program presentation: Upon arrival, we felt a bit pressured into attending what was described as a “one-hour” presentation for the premium loyalty program. It left a less-than-ideal first impression and felt somewhat pushy.
Transportation confusion: The complimentary ride-share benefit wasn’t clearly explained. The phone number didn’t work. I left a longer review on google but we would return again!!

we just finished a 7 day/6 night stay at Ocean Allure in Costa Mujeres! The entire resort was meticulously decorated and offered modern features. we spent 80% of our trip rotating between the lazy river, the activity pool, and the main pool. Bettina our server at the main pool was phenomenal! she frequently checked up on us like clock work and has an amazing personality! Mario from entertainment kept us busy at water volleyball and water aerobics! He knew how to make everyone have fun! Oscar from the gym instructed the stretch class and water cycling which kept our muscles moving! He is very quick to make sure you have a good form to keep you going strong!

There are various food restaurants (Teppanyaki, Steakhouse, Italian, French, and Mexican) and the buffet was open during breakfast and lunch! Ricardo was our server on multiple days at the buffet and had our drink orders down to the smallest details.

The coffee shop, ice cream shop, and wave rider was just a few of the amenities that we used almost daily!

While this resort is new, they are experts in ensuring guests are happy, relaxed, and overall having a great time. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Best service I have had any resort in Mexico! The staff was friendly, kind, and attentive. Each bartender or drink server has their own signature drink, which is a fun way to try new drinks. They also have a lot of restaurant options and an incredible experience team putting on fun events! Silent disco was a favorite for our group!

The resort is new, but it looks like they rushed to completion, and there are a lot of issues. A toilet fell off the wall in the lobby bathroom, the AC didn't fully cool our room, and another room in our block had unsealed shower tile, so the floor was mushy. Maintenance came quickly when called and tried to remedy issues as best they could. Also, this hotel has the smallest elevators I have ever seen - they fit four people, but it's very tight!

My wife and I had a great stay at Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres. We didn't realize it was a newer resort when we booked, but it definitely shows. Everything felt fresh, modern, and very well maintained.

The lobby made a great first impression with its huge open entrance, high ceilings, beautiful artwork, and modern design. Our room was incredibly spacious, spotless, and had a large balcony. The bathroom was just as impressive, especially the jet tub.

There were plenty of pools and bars throughout the resort, so finding a place to relax was never a problem. The food was very good with several restaurants to choose from. Our favorite was the French restaurant.

We also enjoyed the entertainment, including the nightly shows, bowling, theater, and nightclub. There was always something to do.

During our trip we visited Rio Secreto and Xcaret, which were both worth spending a day on. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to visit Isla Mujeres, so that's on our list for next time. Just check the right season.

Overall, this was a beautiful adults-only resort with great food, spacious rooms, lots of activities, and a relaxing atmosphere. We had an amazing vacation and would definitely return.

This will be a 100% honest and accurate review. Seasoned traveler. My wife and I go to Mexico and Hawaii every year. This one was one of the most disappointing. I don’t know if it’s because this resort is newer or not but the service staff might as well be nonexistent. By far the worst experience of the entire trip was the food. Quite possibly the worst food I’ve had traveling in my entire life. We purchased the all-inclusive package and after the third day, we were actually traveling outside the resort to eat because the food was so terrible. Very disappointing. The only thing we were able to eat the rest of our trip there was the fruit. The resort is itself is beautiful, but it’s a little small with not many amenities. In my opinion, don’t bother springing for the privilege package. It is not worth it. Very minimal upgrade for such a high price. This resort does not justify the price tag at all. It is a very laid-back resort which we did enjoy. I just really wish the food had been better and the service staff had been better. The woman who cleaned our room was amazing though. She was very kind and thoughtful and we did appreciate that. Everything aside… We would not choose to stay here again.

Really enjoyed the swim up pool at our room. Neighbors were the best! Great to spend time with them and were served drinks the whole time. Staff was excellent. Bowling was great! Disappointed in the golf simulator. Only open for three hours. Played one hole and was done. Had to close. Sweet treats were excellent after dinner. Very quiet place. First time to adults only and it did NOT disappoint. Would definitely return.

My husband and I stayed in May of 2026. This is a new resort, and we were told that it had only been open 4-5 months from resort representatives. I booked a privilege swim-out suite for what I consider a hefty sum of money for a 7 day stay. The suite was to have a fully stocked mini-bar, king bed, and a bottle of top-shelf liquor. When we arrived, we were told that they did not have any king beds available and they had a room with two doubles beds however they could be pushed together. We tried that but ended up sleeping uncomfortably in one double bed because they were not attached to each other and shifted too much. The room was also missing the bottle of liquor which never arrived.

The room was nice, but not what I would consider premium compared to other resorts we've stayed at. The bathroom was small the room service food was horrible and limited to the amount you could order. Several of the restaurants were closed as were a couple of privilege areas during our stay. Restaurant food was good but not great.

When we checked in, we were asked to attend a presentation about their \"vacation club\". If we attended, we would get free massages. During this presentation, we were shown what a \"real\" privilege room was with the king bed, a larger bathroom, and other amenities. I felt at that point in time I had been a victim of a bait and switch situation where if I was part of their vacation club, I could have the true amenities of the room I had booked!

This is a very new hotel and it shows. What an amazing stay we had. From all the different restaurants and bars, to all the different activities to do throughout the day. It makes you not want to leave this hotel ever. Me and my fiance had a blast. All the staff is amazing and so welcoming. Everything is so clean, and organized inside the room and outside as well. Its the perfect area, very quiet but very fun with lots to do. We are already planning on coming back.

Loved the design and aesthetic of the resort. Staff was friendly and helpful. What we didn’t care for was between 4p-6p you can’t get food- anywhere! All of the restaurants are closed. Ocean Burger never opened at all and they seemed to be short of staff. Let me also add this is a new resort and only had approximately 35% occupancy so that may be the reason. I would definitely go back and highly recommend!

The pools weren’t overly crowded and the service was 10 out of 10. we stayed in a room with three people, and it was very spacious. As a couple who visits Mexico all-inclusive resorts twice a year, we know what to expect, and our recent 5-night stay (May 12–17) unfortunately fell short.
While our room was clean and very nice, the service and dining options left a lot to be desired. The biggest issue was the pool area. There was a severe lack of waitstaff; we only saw one or two servers who barely walked around to check on guests. If you wanted a drink, you essentially had to get into the pool to order from the swim-up bars.
Furthermore, the website advertised a poolside snack spot called \"Ocean Burger,\" but it was closed all week. Because of this, we had to wait until 12:30 PM for the lunch buffet. The buffet itself had a very small, limited food selection that was identical every single day.
The one major bright spot was the buffet waitstaff, who were great and provided excellent service. However, when you pay for an all-inclusive experience, you expect reliable poolside service and decent food variety. We will likely look elsewhere for our next trip.

We would highly recommend. The property was beautiful. Our favorite thing was the bowling, Alejandro was an excellent waiter. Water aerobics with Luis and Maria-so much fun ❤️. The ceviche at Pez Dama was muy delicioso, ask for Ruben because he’s so nice and he’s a great waiter. The complimentary coffee shop and ice cream shops are a pleasant bonus. Don’t forget to check out the ocean bar with swinging seats.

We booked this trip fully knowing this was a new resort, so we expected it to have some of the usual kinks of working out something new, trying to find the best processes, etc.. We were BLOWN away by this place, and have said several times that this resort ruined us for all other resorts. The food was first class, staff was extremely professional and kind/friendly/funny. The grounds were immaculate and had people cleaning/tidying at all hours. The pools were stunning and clean. The rooms were TOP TIER. Full disclosure; my husband and I booked the Privilege Master Suite Ocean Front room, so we had the top of the line room. Did I say we are ruined for other resorts?? BECAUSE WE ARE. I'm back at work still daydreaming about the resort! AND (we never even took advantage of these because we were so blissed out on everything else) they had: bowling lanes, golf simulator, wave rider, performance theatre, themed piano bar and sports bar, multiple upon multiple restaurants and buffets, coffee restaurant, ice cream restaurant... decadence is the only word that comes to mind. Since we booked that room too, we were covered under the Privilege services, which meant we had access to special buffets/restaurants, as well as rooftop pools with covered loungers. There was SO MUCH to take part in, and we will 100% be back! Thank you so much for such a gorgeous stay - we can't stop bragging about how perfect this resort was!

This is a beautiful property and friendly staff. My sister did experience some issues but the Experienced Hotel Manager, Luis Gonzalez was able to correct the problem. Yuli at Check In she was great. Isaac at Customer Service was helpful too. Lefy at the Steakhouse was exceptional and very helpful. Maria tried to teach us Spanish and she was excellent.

In my opinion, the best restaurant was Blue Moon and the steakhouse. Of course it didn’t opened until 6:00pm and closed on Sunday’s. I enjoyed the bowling alley. We didn’t get a chance to do the lazy river. Extremely hot, therefore we couldn’t enjoy outdoors as much as we would have liked.

This is a new resort, but there aren’t a lot of amenities that you would be privileged too compared to other Adult only resorts. This resort is quiet and serene.

Also, few staff speak and understand English.

Our stay at Costa Allure was absolutely incredible from start to finish! The resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was consistently delicious with plenty of variety, offering something amazing at every meal. The drinks were top-notch, expertly made, and always refreshing. The pools were beautiful, well-maintained, and the perfect place to relax while enjoying the stunning atmosphere.

The ambiance throughout the resort was luxurious, welcoming, and truly created the perfect vacation vibe. What really made our experience unforgettable was the staff — every single person was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality was exceptional and made us feel genuinely valued as guests.

If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful getaway with amazing food, and service, Costa Allure is the place to be. We cannot wait to come back! The only thing o wish were better was the drinks. Not worth the calories in my experience. But that’s okay, not a necessity for me . I had the privilege package and had a complementary bottle that we used for drinks .

The breakfast buffet was probably our fav meal of the day, every day !

Our stay at Ocean Allure Resort in Costa Mujeres was one of the most disappointing resort experiences our family has ever had. The way one of our family members was treated was absolutely disgusting and completely ruined the trip.
My cousin and his wife came to celebrate his birthday and their 6-year wedding anniversary, but instead of enjoying a relaxing vacation, his wife, who is Hispanic, was repeatedly disrespected and profiled by resort staff.
While shopping for a dress in the gift shop for their anniversary photoshoot later that day, the store manager told another employee in Spanish to watch her closely to make sure she didn’t steal anything. My cousin’s wife responded in Spanish that she had money and had no reason to steal. Instead of apologizing, the manager insinuated she was some kind of escort and would call her “sugar daddy” to send her money.
Another incident happened at the lobby bar when a bartender questioned whether she even belonged at the resort and demanded to see her wristband and room number before serving her, despite not treating others around her the same way.
Several bartenders throughout the trip were also rude, dismissive, and openly disrespectful to our group.
By the end of the vacation, my cousin’s wife was in tears during dinner because of how humiliated and unwelcome she had been made to feel.
There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of treatment toward paying guests. Neither me, my wife, nor anyone else in our family will ever return here

Everything at the resort was beautiful, well laid out with easy access to pools, dining, spa etc. Staff were all friendly. A big shout out to Angela at the Lazy River. Thanks for keeping our favourite drinks flowing throughout each day. I think the only negative was the service in the restaurants and buffet. While everyone was friendly, we were very frequently ignored after a first greeting (no one offering to refill coffee in the morning, for example). We actually walked out of the French Restaurant one night because of everything being slow to come out and we were never asked for our dessert order. After speaking with one of the waitresses, we think it was the manager that was greeting people, seating people, taking orders and then forgetting about the people that were already seated. He was moving all over the restaurant. Service could definitely be bumped up a bit with some extra training. All in all a very relaxing vacation.

My initial impression of the resort was not the best. I felt as if we were a bother to the lobby bar bartenders. We hung out in the lobby while waiting for the rest of our party. The bartenders were not friendly and would look away as we approached for refills. Like I said initial impression was not the best. HOWEVER, after that it was all smooth sailing and good times were had. Our server at Dan Paz, Ruben, was the absolute best! Almost as if we were hanging out at a family members home. The food suggestions made by Ruben were superior and our drinks never went empty. It was hard to leave the restaurant as the drinks flowed like water. Let me not forget our waitress at the activities pool, Vetyanna. She was the best! Kept our party going, always with a smile and willing to answer any questions we had. By the end of our trip
I was calling her my best friend! Angela at our jr suite pool room gets another honorable mention! From afar she would check in with us and was such a delight to see. Xouri at the sports bar was such a sweet gal and had the best smile. Who doesn’t love service with a smile! The restaurants were all amazing! Food was great, service in the restaurants was impeccable! We ate at the steak house, teppan teriyaki place, Italian place, margaritas and Daz pan. All good tasting food! The buffet every morning was a great way to start the day. The fresh juice and fruit were always enjoyable! Can’t forget the coffee bar and beautiful gym! 5 stars

This place just opened in late December 2025 so it’s only about 6 months old. I will share that my husband and I usually take 1 adults only all inclusive trip to Cancun each year and typically stay at breathless or Secrets resorts but this far surpassed our experiences that we’ve had. The property was amazing, so many free amenities included and the food was comparable to that of secrets but better. So many choices in food, no lines , great employees and beautiful maintained public areas.

They offer the privilege package but you seriously are wasting your money u less you want to use the infinity pool. Otherwise you have everything you could ask for in terms of choices and amenities.
Beach was very clean and they start serving drinks at 10am.

There was no room service ability to order from your phone this time so not sure if that was a glitch or because guest capacity was pretty low due to being off season and a newer resort but again with all the choices in sweets, buffet, restaurants, I prefer going to those over room service.

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful — the layout is stunning, the rooms are modern and comfortable, and the views are exactly what you hope for on vacation. There’s definitely a luxury feel when you first arrive.

Unfortunately, once you spend a few days there, you start noticing the lack of upkeep. There were dead plants throughout the property, and empty bottles and cups were regularly left sitting in the grass and around common areas for long periods of time. It really took away from the atmosphere the resort tries to create.

The resort offers several restaurants, which sounds great in theory, but the food was mostly mediocre and the service was inconsistent depending on where you went. Some meals were decent, others felt very underwhelming for a resort of this caliber.

One important piece of advice: use your safe for absolutely everything valuable. Items have a strange way of “walking away on their own” if you leave them out.

Overall, the property has a lot of potential because the scenery and rooms are beautiful, but the maintenance, food quality, and overall attention to guest experience need serious improvement.

This is the most incredible resort I have ever stayed at. It’s not only beautiful, clean, with great food, but the staff is amazing. Every single person we spoke to was so kind, genuine and caring. They ensure that your stay is the best it can possibly be. I felt so spoiled the whole time! Gerardo, the pool concierge, is the most attentive and sweet person, he always came by to say hi and offer us anything we need. He also did some pretty incredible personalized sand art of my pets. And we even played a game of bowling with him and Isaac, another great employee! On top of that, we also got to meet Julio and Victor, when they made us bracelets. And they continued to look after us for the rest of the stay as well. They even made us some personalized wooden plaques, as a souvenir from our trip. Some honourable mentions for staff as well are Oscar, who bartends the lazy river swim up. He was such a joy! And Janet and Maria, who worked most of the activities. They were so much fun, and so good at their jobs. I would 1000% come back to the resort just for the staff! But they also put on some amazing shows in the evening, filled with so much fun and talent. I could go on and on but just trust me when I say, you will not regret booking this place!

Very nice resort with really good food and staff. I go to Cancun 4-5 times every year and this is definitely one of our favorites. We are already looking at booking again this year. The only request I would make is to open Mikes coffee shop earlier, 7:30am is too late and the line is long before it even opens.

First of all, I want to start with the fact that the experience manager luis, front desk Andrei, customer guide margarita, were all very very helpful and worked to make our experience as good as it could be.

But after finishing out our vacation, I can’t help but say that was not the experience we expected or wanted as our baby moon.

1. When you walk in, you are almost forced into a breakfast with the Premium Tour Group to listen to their pitch. It happens so quick after check in, that they make it seem like it’s part of the service. But it’s not. They were nice, but felt like a waste of our time.
2. They rejected our entry to a mexican casual restaurant because I was wearing Oofos sandals. My wife was wearing the exact same pair but they said she was fine, but it wasn’t for me. Then they proceeded to let three couples go in without even checking their footwear, which they were wearing nike flip flops, adidas slides, and another pair of flip flops. This led to us going up to the front desk, complain, and at that point it wasn’t even worth it. The experience manager luis did his best to accommodate us but that host from the mexican restaurant at 4/30, I don’t know what her name is but was fairly large in stature, I can’t help but say she was discriminating us and was inconsistent with her “dress code”
3. Their rooms are VERY humid. The pillows are damp the whole time.
4. The staff just comes in without knocking.

All things considered, we will look elsewhere from now on

What we liked:
1. Grey Goose Vodka at EVERY bar, including pool bars, and not necessary to be a preferred club member to enjoy!
2. Scheduled activities every day. The crazy game at the pool 3pm daily was so much fun.
3. Lazy river, wave pool for knee boarding, 5 bowling alley lanes, 3 pool tables, tennis and pickle ball courts, and a golf simulator were much appreciated.
4. Many palapas on the beach, and it was cleared of seaweed regularly. Beach service for drinks too.
5. No reservations at any restaurants except steakhouse and hibachi. Minimal or no wait times for the others.
6. Christiana on the entertainment staff made our experience a blast! We loved our zumba class with her, and enjoyed our daily chats.

What we didn't like:
1. It was a 45 minute ride to the resort. However, we knew this going in, and prefer to visit the Costa Mujeres area because there is typically much less sargassum to deal with and the beaches/ocean much more usable imo. Highly recommend using USA Transfers, and take a private transfer if you can swing it. No stops.
2. I can't think of anything else.

If you have been to other 5 star all inclusive resorts, you will not consider this to be on the same level. It is a pretty resort. The food is good! The beach is not great! There are no restaurants with a view. The theater is stuffy and very plain. Be prepared to be harassed a little to be ‘upsold’. Wine with dinner… here is a list of pricey wines. Walking to breakfast or drinks by the pool, you really need to plan a massage. It is not the fault of the resort, but there is literal poop all over the beach, apparently due to the cruise ships dumping too close to shore. You cannot take walks on the beach at night. We normally do that every evening in Cancun. Apparently, the wildlife nearby make it too dangerous at this location. Security directed us back to the resort with a ‘no la vida nada’ warning. We both celebrated a birthday during our stay and it was our anniversary as well. This was our first birthday/anniversary trip where they did NOTHING for the events. It was pretty and we enjoyed our stay, but certainly should not be considered a 5 star resort.

Stayed in a Privelege Master Suite Oceanfront room. The room was huge and very comfortable. Housekeeping was wonderful as was the turn down service. They did arrive too early for my liking. Enjoyed all the restaurants and the steak quality was exceptional. The pool service was the best I have had at any resort. A special shout out to Enrique at the Privelege pool. It was nice to see him, while waiting for my airport shuttle in the lobby this morning. Would definitely come back. The Sports Bar does lack TV's. I could see a lot of fighting over the TVs on a NFL Sunday. However, watching Hockey with the Canadian fans was a lot of fun. Somehow, the 1 bartender was able to keep up with drinks.

Our Family recently stayed at Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres Resort and had a very mixed experience.
The property itself is absolutely beautiful—especially the pools, which were clean, spacious, and one of the highlights of the trip. The staff were also incredible: friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, the rooms were a major disappointment. Despite daily cleaning, they never felt truly clean. We noticed mildew in the showers, and the shower design caused water to leak all over the bathroom floor, which made it uncomfortable and frustrating to use.
The biggest letdown, however, was the food. The restaurants were very disappointing in both quality and cleanliness. The only meals we consistently enjoyed were breakfast at the buffet—but it closes at dinner. This left us stuck with restaurant options that we often found inedible, which meant going hungry some nights.
Overall, while the resort has great potential thanks to its beautiful setting and amazing staff, the cleanliness issues and poor dining experience made it hard to fully enjoy our stay.

The staff was amazing, the hotel and property were beautiful. My only complaint is that the food at the Japanese and French restaurants overpromised and under delivered. I had the lobster tail and it was to be served with lemon foam but there was no foam and it ended up being very dry and needing something. We went to the Japanese restaurant for a 9:00 seating and had no choice as to what we ate. What we were given left a lot to be desired.

This property was absolutely beautiful and the staff was super helpful and very friendly. We loved our stay, it was very relaxing. Food was great and they had lots of choices all day long. One thing that i have to say is the only reason I traveled to Cancun is for their beautiful beaches. The beach was not clean, it has so much sargassum and it had been there for a while because it had a ton of mosquitoes. I talked to the manager and they \"cleaned\" one day. I was there 6 days and only one day was cleaned. I understand this is natural and its has been a problem but if it was well maintained you wouldn't have such a dirty beach. Looks like it was never cleaned from other debris and cigarets. I have been to many Mexican beaches and this was a disappointment. I dont care about pools CLEAN the beach!

The resort was beautiful, clean and the staff was friendly. From the moment we got there the staff was willing to go above and beyond. The resort had events all day everyday that didn’t distract from the peace and quiet if that’s what you want to do with your time. There were several restaurants to chose from that all had their own food and ambiance. All the food was good from the buffet to the night time restaurants. Would 100% return it was well worth the money.

For the most part, our stay was enjoyable at Ocean Allure. As beautiful and as lovely the staff are at the resort, we personally would not come back.

Super friendly staff who go above a beyond. Isai at the main pool bar, Alessa at guest services, and Jason in the buffet area stood out the most to us.

We loved the food at the restaurants! Do expect an average 45 minute wait to get into the restaurants as there is no dinner buffet. Breakfast/lunch buffet was usually good. There was the odd two times we found undercooked items.

Lots of room in the pools and they were always kept clean. We got lucky on our first three days with minimal sargassum on the beach and had a great time swimming in the ocean. The sargassum doesn’t get cleaned throughout the day like we saw at other neighbouring resorts though.

This is partially our fault for not doing extra research. We didn’t realize there was more minimal transportation options to get into town from this area. There’s no bus that comes out this far and taxi/uber costs added up quickly if you wanted to leave the resort.

The main reason we won’t be coming back is the shuttle/excursion company that is partnered with this resort (Trafic Tours). The staff of this company in the lobby were VERY pushy towards us, we got overcharged heavily, and lied to multiple times. Unfortunately, this ruined a large portion of our vacation.

Brand new resort. Would recommend doing the upgrade to privilege so you can make dinner reservations plus use of the rooftop pools and privilege restaurant. My only complaint would be the music in the lobby in the evening was great but way too loud. We didn’t go to any of the shows. Food was good , you can always find something, but wished you could get snacks during the day, guacamole and chips etc. Beach was beautiful, probably the best beach in the area as we walked the whole beach strip. Rooms were clean. We had a swimup room in building 2 facing the garden, it was very private and had the sun all day. I would return.

Worst hotel and experience I’ve ever had. Checking in had to be the slowest process a hotel can possibly muster…a number of people “working” either chatting with friends or mysteriously doing something else. Took us over an hour to check in. Then of course they want to sell sell sell and it’s all about consumerism. Food quality was sub par, at best. It’s disgusting to be honest - I wouldn’t come anywhere near this hotel again if you paid me.

UPDATE: the rest of the stay remained the same despite the hotel staff upgrading us to Privilege due to our complaint. The room itself was ok but despite being a new hotel, the bathroom door didn’t close properly, the light in the closet flickered and the door to the room didn’t lock (this last one was later fixed). But the worst was what happened while leaving the hotel! Even though the staff that took a couple hours to check us in when we arrived charged us to the environmental tax, they tried to charge us again while checking out. We showed them that it had been deducted from our bank account but they refused to accept their own issue and threatened to not let us leave the hotel unless we paid them again - and then told us that we can then later file a complaint and ask for a refund! As if that would ever happen based on the incompetence they displayed while we were there, let alone what would happen if we now have to chase them all the way from London. The were rude and aggressive and honestly NO ONE SHOULD STAY IN THIS HOTEL EVER.

All the food in the restaurants was fantastic, the selection of alcohol available to the privilege guests is excellent. The sargassum on the beach was minimal. But the staff were far and away the highlight of the trip. If I could rate them a 6 I would.

Francisco on the beach/pez dama bar was delightful, Israel at margarita remembered our tables allergies and ordered us a round of our favorite drink without us asking, Michelle at the pool bar never left our cups empty. My only regret is that I wish I had done fewer excursions and enjoyed more of the resort!

The privilege ocean view room was very nice, clean and very spacious. Amazing staff, Javier, Gabby our butlers, Ruben at Pez Dana, and Sebastian at the rooftop sunset bar and pool left us with the best experience! The pools were great! And the restaurants for dinner were really good and the buffets.
