We couldn’t believe the view was real every single morning. Thank you to the wonderful staff for all the work they do to keep the grounds clean and beautiful. There was always a smile. The pools were so fun to be at to watch the activities and just even people watch. We will definitely be back!

Way too big and too many floors to only have one elevator per side. Told them I'm 73 and need a lower floor than the 3rd floor, didn't even attempt to accommodate my request. Just flat out said no. Food was terrible, even in their \"specialty\" restaurants. Basically lived on cantaloupe, honeydew melon, hot dogs, and ice cream. Spent $90US in their shop, some shirts and suntan lotion, and they wouldn't even put the merchandise in a bag unless I paid for the bag. Terrible customer service.

Great overall experience. Wish an infant didn't get charged as full adult. Would have appreciated a screen on sliding room in bedroom since mosquitos got in. Room was great! Staff was friendly and professional. Place was about 45 minute drive from airport. Huge variety in food options. Enjoyed the restaurants and buffet as well. Water park and slides were super fun! The warm temp water in the pool was nice since it was a little windy and chilly when we were there. Overall good experience with the family!

We had a great stay! Every staff member we met was friendly. Entertainment and shows were great. We felt the buffet had the best options for food, the restaurants were not the quality what we have had from other all inclusive we have stayed at. The resort is very clean and drinks were good! For the price we got a deal!

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The food overall was poor, with breakfast being the only meal that was somewhat decent. The so called \"sports bar\" was underwhelming—you had to microwave your own burgers and hot dogs, and the nachos came with artificial cheese. The rooms were unattractive and lacked comfort. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

-Pools were nice but some had chunks of hair floating around in them. Pool bars were excellent but please keep the food out of the pools. One pool bar pools,with a table , had onions amongst other toppings floating around in the pool.
-Rooms were nice and clean but the beds are pretty hard.
-24 hr sports bar is very good hand out at 11pm. Excellent evening bartender with fast service
Disco club was a big thumbs down for me. It’s extremely loud in a small shoe box room with no ventilation.
- Staff were amazing in every way. Whether you’re at any of the restaurants or buffet or anywhere on the property they were very helpful .
The evening entertainment was very boring. The only fun thing that kept people around was the karaoke. Playing evening games on a screen in which you need an iPad or iPhone to play is ridiculous. People can do this at home. I know I’m not interested into this also met others on the property that were not happy as well.
-kids Club girls were great and amazing with the children. Our daughter had so much fun with the staff working at the Kids club

it was a great experience for us in the hotel. since it was my first time going to mexico the staff helped us out and were very friendly and knowledgeable about everything. i do recommend the hotel to anyone going to mexico. it was a bit far from the airport but everything went great.

Staff and amenities were ok, food, other than breakfast, was disgusting. Everything tastes the same, might have something to do with veggie utensils being used for fish, chicken and beef. The buffet was just a mass of American slop. Breakfast was good as long as you stuck with toast, eggs and avocado.

The hotel was nice, the beach is amazing. Very big and the sand is white and the ocean clean and turquoise. The staff is friendly. We traveled with kids and they were not allowed in the pool with the swim up bars. Little disappointing, because they like to get their drinks in the pool as well. It is a kids friendly hotel due to the great water park. They also don’t allow kids at their RIU parties. You also have to travel to another hotel for the parties, they don’t do it at this hotel. This was also disappointing!
Restaurants are good ( our favorite was the Italian restaurant). Buffet has lots of different food and is well stocked.
Nobody stays hungry here.
Hotel and rooms were always very clean.
It is about a 45 minutes drive from the airport.

Woke up to an ant infestation in the couch in the one of the rooms we booked and they had gotten all into bags and shoes. We had to dump everything out and make sure we didn’t take them with us. Very unacceptable and I will be seeking compensation for the inconvenience.

Very clean all around. Everyone that worked there were very friendly and helpful. Had an issue with our AC working, but when notified it was promptly fixed. Food was ok; have had a lot better at similar all inclusives at similar prices. The steakhouse was terrible. Buffet had a lot of options and the Asian restaurant was by far the best. It also had a lot of activities for the whole family.

Me hospedé en el Riu Dunamar con toda mi familia y la verdad quedamos encantados. El hotel lo tiene todo: la comida buenísima, el servicio espectacular, el personal súper amable, el ambiente muy agradable y la limpieza impecable. De verdad se siente que se esfuerzan por hacerte pasar unas buenas vacaciones.

No tuve ninguna queja, todo nos gustó. Es un lugar donde uno puede relajarse, disfrutar y olvidarse del estrés. Sin duda volvería a viajar y repetiría la experiencia en este hotel con mi familia.

Good stay at the property.
Expedia needs to remove the information about the shuttle. I was left in the airport without access to the shuttle.
The hotel claims that I need to talk to Expedia and they did nothing about it. Ended up needing to rent a car for a lot.

There were a few staff members that were great but we did not feel it was worth the money compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at. We were charged extra for an ocean view and we could NOT see the ocean from our room. Little to no food options at all hours of the day. Elevator numbers weren’t labeled and had food smeared on them for days! Tried to charge us for a dirty towel from pool. We have kids, kids get messy

Room was clean, spacious and a beautiful ocean view. Bars were great with great staff. Entertainment was great and the entertainment team was fun and upbeat. Other Italian restaurant was by far the BEST meal we have had and went 2 times in which the waiter knew us. The buffet was very good. Steak house needs some assistance and better food, would not recommend that at all. The beach was large, spacious and amazing swimming conditions with No seaweed The whole property was phenomenal and we will be back!!!

Everything is close and beautiful and clean. Service is amazing especially in the a la carte restaurants. Gustavo and Ernesto as our beach drinks servers were incredible.
Mosquitoes were rampant this kind of year so we would recommend fumigation.

Im a adult traveler, both adult pools were closed at the same time.. I brought my mom who was cencer so she needs specific foods. There was only the buffet and it did have many things she could est and when the buffet was closed it was even worse as there were only unhealthy snacks. The transportation recommended by the hotel is way more expensive than outside for the same distance. For an all inclusive in mexico the beer selection was super limited. And speciality restaurants only opened for dinner and were super full so it was hard to get a spot. Would not recommended what you get for the price.

Our first time staying at Riu Dunamar. We loved the amenities, esp the waterpark for kids. The food option was good too, nothing fancy but it was good enough for us.
Eduardo at the front desk thank you for your remarkable service for helping my old parents move rooms closer to the elevator. To Sury and Eva at Isla Mujeres Dining, thank you for your superb service. Now we are curious trying out the Riu Palace hehe
