This resort is awesome. The level of service and hospitality is the best I’ve ever seen at any resort. The staff is very attentive. You never have to ask a waiter for a drink. They clean your sunglasses for you and carry your towels and find you a spot to sit near the pool. It never felt crowded. The food is five star. The chef even made me special meals for breakfast to meet my dietary needs. The resort is beautiful. The beaches are clean. The place is spotless and there’s a number of different activities that you can participate in. The rooms are spacious clean, and they have a concierge for every building that makes it a personal experience. You never really have to wait for anything. Everyone is so pleasant. This was by far the best resort I’ve ever been to. Don’t make the mistake of choosing a different resort in Cancun. Definitely five stars.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our vacation. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth, organized, and welcoming. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind and enjoy our trip.

The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any questions about the hotel or the surrounding area. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and very clean, and the amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. We really appreciated how convenient everything was and how well the hotel catered to guests’ needs.

Overall, this hotel made our vacation even better. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay.

We had SUCH an incredible time! That resort felt like you were in a jungle but with all the modern convinces! The food was awesome (we have been been to at least 10 resorts in Cancun and this was by far the best! However the part that made it really great was the people. They work SO incredibly hard and make sure you are always happy! In particular Angel (worked by the pool and kept us out of the sun, cleaned our sun glasses and made sure we always had fresh towels and good convo), Irineo (I was never without a drink in my hand from him), Pedro and Josue! We genuinely enjoyed getting to know them and getting to know a little about their life! The room was impeccably clean and well stocked! We will be back!

The hotel contaminated my food with beef, even though I do not eat meat for religious reasons. There was no hot water, the sheets and pillows were polyester, and the air conditioner was rattling. The minimum temperature the AC could be set to was 22°C. Due to the numerous issues, the hotel had to upgrade our stay to compensate.

The front desk was not very responsive. We stayed in the Preferred area, where we had our own butler who was very helpful; otherwise, having to go through the front desk for every request would have been extremely frustrating.

Most of the staff were friendly. The overall quality of ingredients used in the food was good. The breakfast buffet and El Patio were very good; however, the food at the other restaurants tasted pretty bad. The chefs at those restaurants need to be changed.

Our stay at Secrets Playa Blanca was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Every detail—from the spotless rooms to the beautifully maintained grounds—showed how much pride they take in their resort.

The restaurants were exceptional, with plenty of options and no long waits or reservation hassles. Every meal felt like fine dining, and the service was consistently warm and attentive. The pools and beach area were peaceful and luxurious, perfect for relaxing or just soaking in the views.

Our room was stunning—modern, comfortable, and spotless, with everything working perfectly. The jacuzzi, the ocean view, and the quiet atmosphere made it feel like a true escape.

Secrets Playa Blanca exceeded every expectation. If you want real luxury, great food, and a place that actually values its guests, this is the resort to choose.

Junior suite with ocean view was gorgeous. Unbelievable view of the sunrise every morning. Property is beautiful and very walkable. Natural landscaping with plenty of birds and iguanas to look at. Recommend bug spray for mosquitoes at night during mosquito season.
The staff is extremely attentive, friendly, and add a little bit extra that you might not expect. They love surprises!
I have bizarre food allergies that wait staff always asked about before I could bring it up. They would tailor the recipe specifically for me if there may have been a problem. The chefs from each restaurant would speak with me personally about how they would be preparing my meals. I don’t see service like that anywhere else. Ever.
We will remember this vacation for a long time. We plan on returning.

Regarding the room cleaning, it was very good, service was provided twice a day, and the entire staff was very friendly and respectful. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a bit far from the hotel zone and parks. But everything about the hotel was excellent, especially the beautiful beach!

From the moment we arrived at the resort, we were greeted with a welcome glass of champagne and a fresh, fragrant towel, setting the tone for a fantastic stay. As Expedia VIP guests, we were escorted to the VIP check-in room, where the process was seamless and the staff was incredibly warm. They even accompanied us to our room, explaining all the features along the way.

The room itself was spotless, and the housekeeping service was exceptional, with at least two cleanings per day. The hotel’s app was incredibly useful, providing daily activity updates and spa bookings. One of the most thoughtful touches was having a personal butler assigned to each room, who sent daily updates and responded to any requests promptly and warmly.

The resort’s greenery was also impressive, adding to the relaxing ambiance. The dining options were excellent, with a dress code that made the experience feel special, and the staff in the restaurants were fantastic.

Overall, this was truly the best hotel experience I’ve ever had!

Absolutely fabulous! Property is lush, clean, and well laid out. The rooms are gorgeous and all have a view. The resort has a nice layout . i’d recommend getting the preferred room as for it grants you access to special bars,pools, clubs etc. on the property. If so ask for a room away from the ‘social pool’ , it tends to get rowdy late in the evening. food was great . highly recommend eating at El patio and Seaside Grill .

This resort was so clean so new the check in time was very long and I had to ask about checking in because it was taking a while, we got to the hotel around 4 pm and didn’t get to the room till around 6 pm. So yes check in drags, after they give you your room, they have another person talk to you to sell you extra things and commit to other things, feels a little force and that’s one of the things I didn’t like, so be ready to say no with a firm tone!
After that everything went very smooth the other thing it’s that we paid for preferred and the service at the preferred poor and preferred beach side took forever actually we didn’t even find the person to place an order at the preferred beach side, but we wanted a specific room so we were kinda forced into buying preferred.
The room was fantastic and felt new. The concierge was extremely nice very attentive and the restaurants were very nice the food was very good too I highly recommend this place for couples getaway it’s perfect

From reception to check out the level of attention and friendliness, you are always greeted with a smile, makes you realize their goal is to make your stay a memorable one. Fortunately for me and thanks to the wonderful people working at this wonderful resort it certainly was just that, for both myself and my family. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are comfortable, clean and have beautiful views. The food was amazing with many options.
I would especially like thank Gisela from reception for her hospitality and wonderful smile and willingness to make sure I was taken care of. I would especially like to thank Bernardo, concierge for building 6, Angel, Elias, and Michael concierges for the preferred pool for making my special day so incredible. Your efforts were greatly appreciated by myself and my family. Your willingness to go above and beyond was very special for me and my family.
I would also like to thank Martin and Martin R waiters at the preferred pool for their service, hospitality and constant attention to the needs of my family. You definitely allowed us to relax.
Every morning we had breakfast at the Market Cafe and the food and service was delicious and excellent. I would like to thank Christian and Fernando for their pleasant conversation and attention to our needs.

There was a lot of variety in terms of food however the quality was hit and miss. For example the Teppanyaki at Himitsu was excellent but the regular Asian cuisine was not prepared to traditional standards. The Pad Thai was a plate of flat rice noodles with Teriyaki sauce, the gyoza was pulled sweet pork, and the ramen was broth was sweet and a small bowl like an appetizer. We had a similar experience at Portofino, the Italian restaurant. The first time we went it was fantastic and the second time not so much.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here, and it was truly incredible from start to finish! The resort is stunning, the beach was clean (there was a bit of kelp in July, but it didn’t take away from the experience), and the entertainment throughout our stay was great.

The food really stood out — every restaurant offered high-quality dishes and exceptional service. We loved the variety of dining options, and each meal felt like a special experience.

We opted for the Preferred Club, and it was absolutely worth it! The preferred lounge offered premium drinks and snacks, the preferred beach area was more private and relaxing, and having a personal concierge made everything so seamless. Plus, the added perks and coupons were a great bonus.

Every staff member was warm, helpful, and genuinely made us feel welcome. This resort exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely return for another stay. Highly recommend!

This resort is the reset and retreat I needed from day to day life. We are in our 40’s and celebrated our 20th Anniversary.
We spent 8 days, 7 nights here- non preferred swim out in building 7. We had morning sun with afternoon shade which was great as were fair skinned and burn easily.
We are not party people, so the quiet of the swim out was just what we needed. You could hear the music of the party pool which wasn’t an issue, everything slowed down around 7pm as the public pools closed. Night life was mild as this is more of a couples resort. Even if there was a wedding, it seemed to be done at 11pm. But I’ll say- if you’re a light sleeper- bring a sound machine.
The decor, interior design and lush landscaping was eye candy for me. The service was impeccable, the food was surprisingly really good for an all inclusive. I highly recommend the green juice, the cream donuts and anything from Coco Cafe which is conveniently open 24/7. Helpful tip- bring mini hand sanitizer to Market Cafe, many hands touch all the serving utensils.
The only things we wish we could have had was a pillow menu- the pillows were a bit firmer than preferred. My husband was wishing for an adult gaming area like pinball, arcade games, corn hole, etc. but these are small things that would only make an amazing experience better.
Overall, I hope we can be back sooner than later!! Join the FB groups for all the tips. It really helped us.

This was our first time staying at a Secrets Resort. The decor & ambiance are exceptional. The staff was great, the hotel being Adults Only made our stay a lot quieter. This resort is just over a year old, we loved everything being new, & clean. The food was above average for an all-inclusive resort. We highly recommend this resort, the area being approximately an hour north of Cancun, makes for a much more exclusive & private experience being out of the way from everything, with white sand beaches.

My one complaint about the bath tub water being yellow was taken care of pretty quickly. They offered to move me to another room & constantly checked on me and my stay. I was offered a couple of options to make up for this issue that I’m still waiting to show up in my Hyatt account, but I appreciate their willingness to fix the situation. The resort itself is beautiful and the staff was great. Food was okay, but as with most resort foods it was expected. I enjoyed my stay and would come back to visit again!

Totally amazing, there’s no words to describe how good my staying with my girlfriend was. From the staff to the food to all the shows and activities were amazing!! The only bad thing was not staying longer. We had many dinning options with excellent service and tons of flavor, on our first day Alejandro at seaside grill took care of us and we went back multiple times asking for him. The things he recommended were excellent and the service like I said before impeccable! Chef Alexis at market cafe
