The pool and beach are great. There are definite hiccups in terms of service - for example not putting a second roll of toilet paper etc. And there is no heat if needed at night. Can be quite windy.

Beautiful hotel and a safe and secured new Marina area. the rooms are very spacious and modern and well equipped. Breakfast was served either inside or on the terrace overlooking the ocean. Nice pool and beach access with the beach club and food and drink service. I’ll definitely recommend the hotel.

The hotel was nicely located. But the Staff were poorly trained. Every time we would be at the restaurant for breakfast or dinner we would be harassed by a member of staff every 5 minutes checking to see if we were ok. Our meal and conversations were interrupted so many times. And the hotel manager was just sat at the pool smoking and drinking coffee everyday. Very unprofessional. The pool was beautiful and in front of the ocean but they had really loud aggressive house music so you could not relax by the pool. And they also had contractors walking around the pool and in and out of the lobby while you are sunbathing. Very uncomfortable. And one day during heavy rain we had part of a very high balcony ceiling fall onto the pool area, luckily no one was hurt but half of the small pool area was closed and the pool area had limited seating for the remaining days of our trip. All in all, a very lacking experience.

The SLS is in the new area of the Marina Cancun. The hotel is very ‘cool’, with great art work, ducks, and smells beautiful!

The area is very safe and walkable. Good for running or walking into town.

The pool and beach are gorgeous. Comfortable loungers and great service.

Our stay at SLA Cancun was one to remember! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome with a welcome drink. Front desk forced us to pay for an upgraded room with ocean view although we booked ocean view, claiming hotel was fully booked although it was clearly not. In general property seems to focus on up charging guests at any opportunity with ridiculously high mini bar pricing, watered down margaritas at the beach and surprise bills for $10 Evian water at breakfast.

SLS Cancun is located in the gated area Port of Cancun. There is a lot of construction still going on in the area, but not in the amount that would affect the stay. The hotel is really beautiful and the rooms were nice. We loved the beach and the beach restaurant. They make the best cocktails!
The only downside of our stay was that we booked the deluxe suite with one bedroom, but instead got the room that did not have a separate living and sleeping area. The front desk stuff tried to convince us that the room we got was a one bedroom suite with the amenities we booked, even so it was just one big room with no walls in between. It also did not have 2 TV-s, or a tub as per deluxe one bedroom description. For me, it seemed we were given a deluxe room instead of deluxe one bedroom suite. They compensated us with the food credit for the inconvenience since there were no available rooms that would have matched the description what we booked. If it is really like they say that our room (408) was under the same category (deluxe one bedroom suite), then someone should really look into this, as it does not match the description on the website.

I booked this hotel last minute, and it was AMAZING. After a stressful day at the airport, we arrived here the next day and the staff greeted us and was very welcoming. The stay was exactly what we needed to fully relax. There is good security, and secured elevators. I couldn’t hear anything from outside our room. The restaurant is small, but the food is again AMAZING!!

I recently stayed at Sls Cancún with friends and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is perfectly located, exclusive, and safe. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the rooms were even better than the pictures.

While I’d rate it 5 stars for the overall experience, there was a bit of a hiccup with the breakfast service. Although breakfast is supposed to be available until 1 pm, they unexpectedly stopped serving the paid-in-advance breakfast at 11 am without prior notice. Additionally, the limited menu for pre-paid breakfast didn’t feel like good value at all.

Love the staff, Amazing location , Private beach , nice pool. Good quality food.
Only thing dint like its the A/C on my room wasn’t working , they came twice to fixed at 4am then at 7am.
The solution was changing the room but they actually Downgrade the room from the previous one. I think staff at the counter could worked something better since I check in at 12pm that night! Not happy to pay $500 for a hotel room with a broken A/C.

The property is great and the restaurant has great food. There’s only one restaurant and it’s pricey. It’s also very rich food to eat every day but Uber eats is a great alternative. I only wish there were activities for my son to do but we planned ahead of time with excursions thru other vendors.

Stayed in this property for 3 nights. Loved every single day of it. Hotel was in top tier condition. The views of the hotel were just as pictures.
Andy the butler was always there for me for whatever I needed to get around the city. He has very nice personality, all the hotel staff were great especially the front desk staff lady and the kitchen staffs.
The only downside might be the location, it’s little secluded away from the parties of the downtown. Which maybe good for some but might come little inconvenient to others. Regardless this place welcomed me and I had the most amazing memories stay.
