I selected this property for the breakfast hour, because l was traveling to another places early in the morning But today they did not offer breakfast because \"they had no water in the restaurant\", however in the room there was water. In summary we paid for breakfast that they did not give us, but they charged us the water we consumed of the minibar. Result we had to travel without breakfast. I do not recommend the hotel to anyone.

I don’t think this is a place for families with young children. It is too loud with people drinking outside and in the rooftop.
The administration could have an extra person to help the receptionists too. They were lovely, but it looks like they are expected to work in reception and fixing all kind of problems which is impossible.
Our balcony window didn't open, the shower made such a loud noise that we could only use it when the baby was awake otherwise the noise would wake her up.
If you can sleep with noise, then it's not so bad.

Disappointing stay, especially in light of the fortune we've paid. The hotel needs urgently a renovation. Our room was very small, with no space to open our suitcases. It had a minuscule, old desk that was useless and needs to be replaced. The corner of the walls had big cracks. Breakfast had limited options, although the servers were very nice and friendly. In sum, we had big expectations for our stay in Madrid but we felt we were overcharged for a room that should have costed half of what we paid.

Madrid is a beautiful city and this hotel is located in a lovely but quiet area. If you want shopping, dinner or drinks you just have to walk one block and you find it all.. At night, not a sound. Rooms spacious and bathroom excellent. I highly recommend this hotel

There are way better properties in Madrid

Not as advertised! This is no four star property. It is comparable to an older two star. The room is ok but has cracked paint and mold in the shower. It was exceptionally clean, thanks to the incredible cleaning staff, but there are some things so old they cannot be cleaned. They must be renovated. I will say the cleaning staff were the bright spot of our stay and helped me find a crib And even brought a baby bath for us. They were super nice.

Unfortunately The smell of mold was so overwhelming. It was difficult to sleep. I tried to sleep with the windows open, but the street noise was a lot. I said something to the front desk and they never followed up. The front desk staff is entirely unhelpful. I asked for a microwave to sanitize baby bottles. There is not one in the entire property and they would not even ask the attached restaurant (Thankfully, the restaurant is super nice and I asked myself. The employees are super kind.). The room is extremely basic with microwave, no kettle, no coffee maker, nothing at all that would make it even a little more comfortable. The property is quite old.

The best part about it is the metro sccess . There is a metro stop right outside the door. since the property is a bit far from the city center, it is nice to have a metro nearby. Still, there are far too many excellent properties in Madrid to waste money staying here. It’s awful and I would never stay here again.

Great place to stay . Small rooms but who stays inside ? :) . Easy walk to the centre. About 20-25 min drive to the airport depending on the traffic. There is metro stations everywhere but you can easily walk to most off the neat places in Madrid . The front desk staff was very helpful

One Shots are an excellent option.

I loved the location because it was a couple km away from super crowded tourist area. Taxis are plentiful. Each morning we taxied to area we wanted to visit that day, did a few things, then taxied back to hotel in late afternoon. Metro is also nearby. Shower is great but bathroom showing a bit of wear. This is my 2nd ecperience with One Shot hotels (Barcelona and Madrid). Highly recommend them. I stayed 10 nights at Luchana 22.

The hotel and service were excellent! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room and view were lovely. The only complaint I have is that we had a lot of issues with the air conditioning (room 406). Had to call almost daily to have it reset and spent one night without AC.

One of the best stays weve ever had in Europe. Staff is INCREDIBLY accomodating & hotel is in perfectly pristine & clean condition. Great hotel

This is the third time in three years I've stayed in this hotel, each time in a different room, and I plan to repeat. The location is great, easily accessible by Metro, 25 min in taxi to the airport, and lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. It doesn't feel corporate, which I love. Breakfast isn't the best I've had in Spain, it's a bit more modest, but very good. Eggs made to order, free pressed OJ, etc. Beds are very comfortable and noise has never been a problem for me there. Without breaking the bank, this is an excellent hotel. Definitely recommend!

Decent Place But No Restaurant.

This isn't a hotel - it's a B&B, but it is quite good value for the money. The breakfast was a pretty standard buffet style which was OK, but the only gripe I have is that the website states there's an onsite restaurant, which there isn't. In the list of services it's clearly stated that 'Breakfast and restaurant service' is available and there are also pictures in their gallery to support an onsite, functioning restaurant. I can understand this may not be commercially viable to operate in the winter, but I think that advertising you have a bar and restaurant then not having them available is extremely dishonest. There is the opportunity to order Japanese style room service from a local restaurant however, but this isn't the same and quite naff if you don't like sushi which is mainly what was on offer!

I probably wouldn't have booked here had I known there wasn't an onsite restaurant, as being in Madrid on business I didn't always want to have to go hunting around for a decent place to eat. But the staff were really good and extremely helpful so that did help.

The price is too HIGH for what it is

The Hotel is extremely expensive for what it is, you can't control the A/C, they control it from the lobby so all rooms have to have it the same (this doesn't make any sense) Staying here during summer will be a nightmare. For that high price and such a small tight space in the room, breakfast should be included. when you're paying $170 per night and you have to pay $12 for breakfast you don't feel good. Two people can eat for $10 around corner. The wall plug to charge the phone next to the bed didn't work. The ceiling of the shower had a leak and the walls seem deteriorated. The receptionist where great but the Hotel itself is not at the level of what you're paying for.

This was the perfect place to end my vacation. The staff was professional, courteous, and went above and beyond to make my stay a great one. The location is walking distance from restaurants and right near the metro and buslines. The room was very spacious, bed and pillows amazingly soft. No balcony but the property does have a rooftop view of the city. Windows surrounded the bed, nice touch. Only negative was the water came out brown sometimes. Overall, great stay.

The king size bed was comfortable but there was no bar in the hotel, no coffee or tea in the room and no English language news programming. The bathroom door wouldn’t close and they never fixed it. They told us that breakfast was included but upon checking out they billed us for breakfast every day. I explained the situation and asked for a refund but the desk clerk said they were not authorized and it would need to go to a manager. I provided my email address and followed up by an email to the hotel that same day but have yet to hear back from them. Disappointing.

Cool clean and quiet

Situated on one end of the Fuencarral shopping street with a metros station right at eth front door it's ideally placed for getting around, and easy access to/from the airport.

Bus stops nearby lead to the Estadio de Bernabeu.

The hotel staff are very polite and always very helpful. The reception desk is manned 24hrs so there's always someone on hand to help if you need it.

The breakfast buffet was very nice, with as much food available as you care to eat a selection of fruit juices, including freshly pressed orange juice and Nespresso coffee.

The street outside is wide, like 6 lanes wide, but it never seemed that busy, always easy to cross and no traffic noise in the rooms.. in fact, no noise in the rooms at all.

The hotel had great airconditioning, which was welcome after walking around in the hot afternoon sun.

Rom had a safe and a mini-fridge. Nearby supermarkets mean it was easy to stock up on bottles of water. The only downside was no Hotel Bar as such.

The staff were all excellent and extremely hospitable. As soon as we arrived in they were expecting us and made every attempt to ensure we were happy. Every day they saw us they were always smiling and saying hello.

Hotel in prime location and at the centre of everything. Hotel clean, cosy, lovely and quiet, no noise or the hustle and bustle of loud traffic.

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel to friends and family. The staff made our time in Madrid an extremely enjoyable experience.

Interesting renovation of an older building into a modern hotel with plenty of amenities. Good area of Madrid, not in the most crowded tourist areas but close to good bars and restaurants and the lovely Sorolla museum.
