The location is fantastic and the room itself quite nice, but the airconditioner was on in February and I was unable to turn on the heat to warm up the room. Moreover, the shower was broken, with water coming out of a broken pipe rather than either of the shower heads. Clearly, both these problems existed before my arrival. No action taken by the hotel staff when I reported these problems. Shame.

We arrived on a Sunday and they wanted all our contacts details and passports. I understand passports but why do they need phone and email. These days with the amount of cyber attacks and data leak, I don't trust them to keep the data safe.

I booked the hotel very last minute. But when I read the reviews and saw the pictures I regretted it. A refund would have been in order since we asked for it 5’ after booking. The hotel didn’t want to refund it. I know. Terms and conditions but the pictures were deplorable. I never were there.

THE PHOTOS ARE FALSE!!
The advertisement photos for this place are absolutely missleading! There are holes and unfinished drywall edges all over the room.
First only one of the three elevators was functional. Then the room had a stenching strong chemical smell during all the night. The walls were full of holes and repainted patches. The door was completely crooked and has a one inch gap on one end. The window frames were also crooked and left a half-inch gap on one end. One of the pillows was torn and had the filling coming out of it!
The bedding had blood stains!!
The bathroom had mold and unfinished/unpainted sections in the walls.

I had difficulty locating the hotel due to the lack of visible signage, which made finding it frustrating. The hotel doesn’t fit the ‘boutique’ description, as the rooms feel bare and poorly decorated. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and the walls were thin enough to hear neighbors moving around. The bathroom only had a single, broken soap container placed inconveniently in the shower, and the windows didn’t close properly, allowing restaurant noise to filter in until late at night. Overall, not the restful stay I was hoping for.

After 10pm there is nobody in reception. They locked my door for a problem with my card and there was nobody absolutely nobody to communicate with. I had to, in the middle is the night, on my daughters birthday go on a cab to find another hotel otherwise we would have been in the street for the night. I emailed, called and nobody got back to me. Next day I went tying to talk to the manager, who did not even apologize. My medication, which I need daily was in my room. He did not offer any solution and did not seem to care. Terrible experience.

Not a business hotel, very noisy!

I wanted to like this hotel as they are obviously making an effort to refurbish, however, the noise from the street, the corridor and the lifts make it very hard to sleep when you have an important meeting the next day. The beds are comfy but the rest was a disappointment!

I had read previous reviews and seen pictures so knew what to expect.

Good location but really just somewhere to sleep and get a shower, rooms are clean but there’s not much a cleaner can do about holes in the floor and ceiling.

The air-conditioning was not working but if you open the window the noise from Almagra Str. gets in your room, so it is impossible to sleep. The staff offered us a fan but that was of little help in the hot Madrid nights. Breakfast at a cafe nearby was meager and too slow to come. Otherwise, the room was good - clean and large but don't open the window on Friday and Saturday nights, as there are two restaurants downstairs with tables on the sidewalk full of noisy customers well after midnight. The quarter is very good with a metro station very near.

Brilliant location at a very good price! We stayed in a recently refurbished room which was modern and comfortable! Breakfast \"buffet\" was included which wasn't great, included 2 slices of toast and a cup of tea/coffee! Overall would stay again if on a budget as ideal location and close to lots of restaurants and cafes/bars!

Checked in and the went to use the toilet and it was dirty.
How can a hotel like this charges 12 euros a day for wifi service, I stayed in 11 cities on this trip and this was the only hotel charging for WIFI service, unacceptable.

OK for 2 nights if you get a high floor

Mixed feelings here... Make sure you get a room in the higher floors, otherwise the heating wont reach your apartment... yes, you read that right... the lower the floor the colder it gets due to heating system being so old it does not reach the lower floors. I was changed from the 2nd to the 5th coz of this, although I had to sleep in a single bed instead of the double one I had booked.
Shocking you have to pay 12€ for WiFi... Cheeky cheeky... Come one, is this a joke?
Rest was fine, everything needs to be updated but everything was super clean and location is perfect.
Staff could do with a smile though

Good location for a good price!

The room was quite comfortable for a several day stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The hotel was located two blocks from the metro which made travel very easy and was within walking distance of several restaurants and cafes.

Très bien situé près d’une station de métro. Beaucoup de site à visiter sont à 30/40 minutes de marche. Le confort de la chambre est de base. Comme la rue est très animée, avons choisi une chambre côté cour, et avons apprécié la tranquillité. Le personnel est avare de sourires et de bonjours.

Creo que ha sido mi peor experiencia en un hotel. Las recepcionistas (de distintos turnos) súper antipáticas, ni buenos días, ni buenas tardes. A la hora hora de hacer el checkin te hacen sentir incómoda y en el checkout devolvimos la tarjeta de la habitación y la recogieron de mala manera. Preguntamos si necesitaban algo y ni nos miraron. No se lo recomiendo a nadie. La habitación daba a un patio bastante sucio. Las camas incómodas. Llamamos al hotel por teléfono porque no tenían teléfono en las habitaciones para pedir un secador y nos dijeron que no tenían. Que el que tenían estaba estropeado. (Entiendo que tienen uno para todo el hotel). No creo que vuelva. No tengo nada positivo que decir en mi estancia.

Duschen var trasig fick säga till dem att den skulle repareras toaletten var också trasig det rann vatten hela tiden dem gjorde ingenting åt det hade svår att sova för att varje 2 minuter vatten hållare startade där att fila på mer vatten och tvn fungerade inte. Man kunde bara håra dem gjorde ingenting heller åt det. Aldrig mer samma stället.

El sitio está totalmente descuidado y sin mantenimiento. Las paredes de la habitación estaban sucias y con partes rotas y desprendidas. A la puerta le faltaba el marco. El televisor (mini televisor porque debe se de 14\") está de adorno porque es tan antiguo que no soporta canales HD, asi que ahora que ya solo se emiten canales en ese formato, en el televisor no se puede ver nada. A pesar de que el hotel ofrece desayuno, no tiene cafetería ni restaurante, tienes que salir del hotel e ir a una cafetería de la calle que está cruzando una carretera. Desaconsejo totalmente este sitio.

Los pasillos acumalaban suciedad, al menos en la planta 3°. La habitación estaba limpia.
Falta conservación. Las paredes presentan muchisimos rayones de maletas posiblemente. La TV parece un monitor de PC. Es enana. El desayuno es un ticket para irte a un bar a 50 m.

Mi vuelo se retrasó y llegue como a las 22:30, porque estuve buscando el hotel como Hotel \"Boutique Urban Genova\", lo cual \"no existe\" en el sitio tiene otro nombre completamente diferente, por lo que cuando pude identificar cual era, en la recepción no había nadie, marque en varias ocasiones al contacto y no me contesto nadie, la comunicación es nula con el hotel, realmente no lo recomiendo en lo absoluto, estuve buscando en los alrededores un hotel y no pude encontrar ninguno, tuve que dormir con mi esposa en el aeropuerto de Madrid.

For being a 3-star hotel, the condition of the room was disappointing. Many things were more or less broken: sofa, chair, toilet seat was leaking. \"Free toiletries\" included hand soap, nothing else. We paid for a breakfast for both mornings, but on Sunday it was served as a take away bag with a croisant, juice, and filtered coffee. Nothing to complain about the location, it was very convenient. Walking distance from the city center.

Me dieron una habitación justo al lado de la recepción. La habitación súper ruidosa, se escuchaba todo lo de la calle h lo de la recepción, pedí que me cambiaran de habitación y no me cambiaron. La recepción cerraba a las 10pm y el teléfono no dejaba de sonar porque lo dejaban en sonido. Desde las 6am ya había ruido en la recepción. Fatal, no repetiré jamás

Estancia correcta en el centro de Madrid

Los apartamentos están en fase de remodelación faltando rodapiés y tapajuntas en las puertas.
El cuarto de baño era de un estilo un tanto anticuado (excepto la zona de la ducha) y se echaba en falta una percha por lo menos.
TV demasiado pequeña para la habitación.
Ubicación espléndida y bien comunicada.

hemos ocupado 4 habitaciones por un viaje de trabajo y ninguna de ellas tenía las condiciones mínimas de habitabilidad. Desperfectos en baños, puertas y dejadez total. Es una vergüenza de hotel, si es que se le puede llamar así.
La limpieza brillaba por su ausencia.
Los anti-incendios estaban precintados por lo que su efectividad es nula.
Presidiendo la recepción se encuentra un cartel en el que se especifica que no se hacen responsables de la perdida de objetos en las habitaciones, y nos explicaron que esta situación había sido revertida gracias a dicho cartel.
Todas las puertas están muy deterioradas,
Nos dieron las peores habitaciones del establecimiento.

Lo bueno de este alojamiento es su ubicación céntrica y su precio relativamente bajo respecto a otros hoteles de la zona. Sin embargo, las instalaciones del hotel son vergonzosas: hay cristales y puertas rotas en los pasillos y el edificio está viejo y descuidado. En la habitación hay lo justo para pasar una noche, pero no tiempo en ella, aunque la encontramos limpia. También estaba incluido un desayuno continental que resultó ser en la cafetería de al lado y muy escaso: solo café y una tostada. No volvería.

Un petit coup de raffraichissement des chambres (y compris salles de bain) et des parties comunes (sauf rdc déjà fait récemment) devrait être envisagé.
Petit bémol, le matin, il y a un peu de bruit venant du boulevard.

Malgré cela, je recommande cet établissement car situé à 100 m du métro, à 10 minutes à pied du quartier Chueca et la literie est de qualité.

Отель находится у метро Alonso Martinez в 5 минутах ходьбы и близко от центра. Сам отель не новый, но наш номер на двоих superior с маленькими окнами в тихий двор-колодец полностью отремонтирован! Вся мебель, пол, сантехника посуда в мини-кухне новая и чистая! Полотенца меняли каждый день, наборы для душа пополнялись регулярно, убирались в номере каждый день! В мини-кухне есть все необходимое, даже штопор, но нет чайника! Вся техника работала исправно! Единственные минусы номера: отсутствие сейфа и фена! По ТV нет русских каналов, но нам особенно это и не нужно было. Wi-fi в номере работал с перебоями, но сообщения по мессинжирам и зарегистрироваться на посадку в самолёт не составило труда.

Buena ubicación, malos acabados.

Muy buena ubicación, a sólo 15 min del centro y a 10 min de Chueca. Nos pasaron todos los días a limpiar y cambiar las toallas. Lo único mejorable es que en la última reforma que le hicieron fue chapucera, se ve malos acabados en el parquet y no les cogió el armario en el hueco. El cabecero de la cama es tan grande que tapaba los enchufes, dejando uno en el baño y otro en la entrada en la cocina. El agua caliente tardaba a veces en salir. Por lo demás bien y buena ubicación con el centro de Madrid.

El trato de la recepcionista del viernes 19 oct a la tarde fue desagradable, incorrecto y maleducado.
Azulejos rotos en el baño. Azulejos rotos y sueltos en todo el pasillo. Ascensor sucio de obra.

Estancia horrible, para jamas volver

Para jamas volver, habitacion muy ruidosa al lado de recepcion, telefono sonando constantemente y demas ruidos de la calle y nuevos clientes. Ademas \"una\" de las recepcionistas despota y arrogante como perdonandote la vida.

L’hôtel est très bien positionné, 2 minutes à pied de la station Alonso Martinez. Il n’était pas trop cher et la chambre était assez spacieuse mais très peu meublée. J'ai été au quatrième étage côté boulevard, la chambre est très mal insonorisée. La climatisation est mal conçue/faite ou mal entretenue car les odeurs de cuisine de vos voisins rentrent chez vous si vous démarrez la climatisation pendant qu’ils cuisinent. De plus il est impossible de rester avec la fenêtre ouverte pour aérer à cause du bruit du boulevard et des restos d'en bas. J'ai réclamé le problème lié à la climatisation à l'accueil, ils ont constaté le problème mais ils m'ont envoyé 'sur le roses' car l’hôtel 'c'est comme ça'. J'ai demandé à voir un manager ou changer de chambre, je n'ai pas eu des réponses. Le personnel de l'accueil du jour parle très bien l'anglais, celui de nuit uniquement d'une manière approximative.
