Sadly the stay was just ok. Our rooms tables looked dirty and had stuff smeared on them. No fan in the bathroom. The breakfast was terrible, and the way its set up makes no sense. No real vending areas. I would definitely suggest a remodel, because its sad to see how bad this hotel has gotten. Ive been to other comfort inns and suites and they are way better with the hotel/amenities.

Had to change rooms because the 1st room had nasty stuff all ove the base of the bed abd floor.. 2nd room needed a clean top cover which i went downstairs and got a new one and replaced it. The manager on duty was the best!!

When my family checked in, we were greeted by Jeffery. He was very welcoming and made sure we were taken care of at check-in. Also, it was nice, after a travel day and long day at Carowinds, to have the pull out sofa already turned down. I personally thanked the housekeeper for doing this. We stay in numerous hotels across the country and this was the first time this was done. We will definitely return!

This was not a great experience. It was okay but just. The crowd was pretty bad. Some weirdos roaming around. I didn't feel all that safe at times. The room was small and especially the bathroom was very crampted. There was no luggage cart available when I went to check out. They had all mysteriously vanisned for an extended period of time. Had to use a laundry hamper with broken wheels with the desk chair. Pretty awful. Oh and I didn't mention the prostitute...

The two gentlemen at check-in counter had zero personality . Not that I want a band playing at my arrival but a simple smile would have been nice. The one gentleman spoke so low I could barely hear his instructions and I had to keep asking him to repeat himself. Made me feel really stupid. The hotel was in a good location with restaurants and the mall close by; however, the hotel smelled like cigarettes as soon as you walked in. My non-smoking room also smelled like cigarettes. The guy that initially checked me in at the front desk seemed like he couldn't have cared less about his job and definitely didn't have the sense of hospitality I feel that you should have when checking into a hotel. My room was missing a shower curtain and the microwave did not work. This hotel could definitely benefit from some upgrading and a good deep clean to get out the smell of cigarettes that seems to permeate through the whole building and rooms.

Booked this hotel due to its 8.4 rating on Expedia. Arrived at 10pm expecting a smoke free room. Room clearly had been smoked in, front desk said there were no other rooms and gave us some air freshener. Went to make the pullout bed, and there were no linens and the mattress was filthy. We only stayed 1 night. The room was booked because it had a sleeper sofa so my kids could have their own space. However, when I pulled out the bed part of the sofa it was full of dirt, crumbs, and stains. Also, there was not any bedding for it. The sheets on both of the beds had pet or human hair on them even though the first apperance of the beds were nicely made. I asked the desk for clean sheets and was given the wrong size and the also had hair on them. The room also smelled very musty. Breakfast was not stocked and the juice machine was broken. However the biscuits and gravy were good. The location was good. Not far from the I-485 Blue Link Station to take you into the city for a football game, basketball game, concert, or to hang out downtown Charlotte.

Shower wall with faucets looked like it was ready to pop off. Hair dryer didn’t work nor did phone to call front desk. Went down and they had no hair dryers . Also no extra blankets or pillows. Was definitely not a place I would stay at again

We would come back. The breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the staff were very friendly. One of the staff went over and beyond to help us. The alarm went off due to someone burning something, at least we know their fire alarm works. The only thing I do recommend is updating the property. Our toilet really needs to be updated, rust all over the bolts on the seat, and the tub needs to be painted.

The property was completely overpriced and took advantage of the PGA tournament in the area. The room was in dire need of improvements from it smelling moldy, the deadbolt and locks were all cracked, the shower had no fan and because of a poor shower design, water would flow over onto the floor. Because of this experience I cannot recommend this hotel; it's a shame they charged $400/night for a $75/night room.

Upon arrival, we were given a room that reeked of old cigarettes (non-smoking room). I spoke to the front desk, and he was more than willing to move us. However, around 10pm there was a bang at our door. The room we were moved to was apparently assigned to another guest who was attempting to get in. We spoke through a closed door and he was going to speak with the front desk agent to get re-roomed. We were asleep around 11pm with two children and there was another knock at the door. We spoke again through a closed door and it was another person (employee?) who was questioning the room assignment. This was completely uncalled for, as it scared us and the kids.
On top of the overall smell of old cigarettes throughout the hotel, and the inappropriateness of the knocking TWICE at the door, the room was old, dingy, in desperate need of updating and did not overwhelm us with cleanliness. Will be speaking to corporate about our experiences.

So the staff was great, kind, sweet and attentive. However in the room half of the things were broken, we chose this option because we needed the sleeper pullout and it was completely unavailable which made for an extremely uncomfortable stay.
The breakfast was 6.5/10 in terms of what you’d expect for an included breakfast. Gym is 4/10 of what you’d expect. Noise level was loud between the pipes and the other guests blasting music it was kind of intense.

The front desk clerk, a guy on evening shift, was very polite and showed good hospitality. This place needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. It’s “clean” but it’s disgusting because things are broken and look dirty bc there’s rust and mildew. TP roll holders broken and almost sliced my finger. Furniture old and dirty, doors cracked and broken. Smell all over is old and musty and elevator is broken down.

A friend and I stayed two nights for concerts in Charlotte, and the place was great. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, plenty of parking, and an Asian food hall just across the street.

We have stayed at this location several times and enjoyed it. This time there were problems. The heater made a loud noise any time it came on. The smoke detector went off erratically. The commode seat was barely hanging on.

The bed was clean and made, but I was not impressed with the condition of the room overall. Two reading lights were missing bulbs. The man at the desk looked bored out of his mind and stared at his phone. I almost couldn’t fit in the bathroom to shut the door - it was so close to the toilet. The shower curtain wasn’t large enough for the shower. Because it was on a curved rod, I had to hold one end of the curtain to make sure water didn’t splash on everything. Some of the furniture had clear damage to it - one bench had tears in the fabric. While it was a convenient location, I do not plan on staying there again.

The staff were all polite. There was a miscommunication of adding a day to avoid weather, but it was worked out the morning I was checking out. The property was clean, but needed a little updating. The room was in terrible condition ! It smelled of cigarette smoke, despite the claim of it being a 100% smoke free property. The microwave was so dirty it could not be used. In addition, the doors all had sticky spots all over them. Lastly, the phone was so dirty we would not touch it. I am extremely disappointed in our stay ! If we had not checked in so late in the evening we absolutely would have left immediately. I was thankful the sheets appeared to be clean.

The pictures on Expedia DO NOT match what you will see in person. First, the parking lot is not well lit, people were hanging around smoking near the door of the hotel, even the entrance of the door right at the threshold was dirty and dingy and set the tone for what I should’ve expected. The front desk clerk was nice but that was the one and only good thing. The lobby is old looking and not appealing, the room was nice sized but it was filthy. I didn’t even want to sit my bag down so I held everything in my hand. When I looked at the bed I immediately saw big dirty stains, the shade thing on the window wouldn’t move so even if I stayed I wouldn’t be able to put it down. I didn’t stay longer than 5 minutes. I immediately returned the key and left and checked my stuff for bedbugs. That hotel made me feel dirty.

We arrived at the hotel with our small children after reading the reviews on expedia. The staff was very kind when we arrived and check is was easy. However, the hotel is very outdated and dusty and dirty. Everything is old and looks like it hasnt been cleaned in forever. When my husband brought our bags in he noticed a condom wrapper next to our car and as we were walking to our room it smelled like weed. When we got to our room not only was it severely in need of updating (broken, scratched furniture and lamps) it was filthy. There was stains on the bedskirts, dust everywhere and too many broken items to count including a cracked sink. The phone and alarm clock were covered in dust. I was so skeeved i just wanted to get my family out of there but it was so late and we couldnt find another hotel with availability that late on a saturday. Its so dirty i didnt even want to go to sleep.
