I had an extremely disappointing experience with the food at this hotel. The chicken wings were drenched in oil, cold in the middle, and clearly just dropped into a fryer, leaving a thick layer of fat and grease that made them completely inedible. I returned them immediately, saying they were disgusting. The grilled cheese was equally bad, smothered in butter and impossible to eat. Both meals were returned, yet I was still charged at checkout.

Great hotel and location.

Check in was quick and easy. Friendly staff. Conveniently located by the highway with tons of restaurants nearby. Het a balcony room for the added space. Quiet area and hotel also has a bistro downstairs with indoor pool.

There were a lot of kids there for some reason? Like teenagers. Maybe a ball tournament and it was very loud. It smelled so bad from marijuana it made me have a brutal headache.

Overall good experience. There is a nice spacious area to go for a walk/run, or just relax right out back. Location is very close to a gas station and other stores which is a plus. The staff were very nice and friendly. The only issue was that there was a t shirt left behind the stand under the TV. It just means the room was checked in every corner but it was also in a very low place. I only saw it because my charger piece dropped back there.

Is this Courtyard’s new standard?

I was disappointed for a Courtyard stay. The room was very small and it felt sparse over all. In the morning, there was no sign of anyone to order breakfast, the place felt dead.
The front counter service was wonderful when we arrived. I will likely not stay at this Courtyard again.

We have stayed here every year , a group of us - disappointed that you Did not have shuttle running in the past for Backyard Ballantyne Whiskey festival , this was our third year , when they have special functions you should offer shuttle like you have in past . HUGE issue with TV! The Remote TV Guide lists HBO channels, but there is no HBO. Only Showtime. SO the Guide is inaccurate and of zero use! Unable to know what programs were available for 4 days/nights. Front desk employees said it was “out of their control” and a “Marriott Issue” they had no control over.

Also, Business Center is in an open area in the lobby, so inappropriate for a Zoom call or actual true business dealings.

First thing was my towels had red stains on them and that’s very gross. Things were falling apart Like door handle came off very easily in the bathroom and the key scanner on door easily comes off. The front desk people act like they couldn’t do their job at check in. Breakfast is not included and when tried to get it in morning, it was one lady who kept making it clear she had 4 orders to do and it’ll take a long time saying it has to be from scratch pretty much telling us she doesn’t feel like doing it. This hotel is the worst marriott I’ve ever been too . Only thing good about it is the location, very convenient with gas station is walkable distance and also many restaurants near by. Other than that I don’t recommend!!!!!!
