Communication with the property was non-existent and when I attempted to ask about early check in I was told no rooms would be ready early but the front desk had no clue what type of room I was booked in as they immediately dismissed me each time I checked back in.
I emailed them 2 and 4 days prior to my reservation asking about early check and received a response on my last full day there (day 8) with a link for late checkout.

The morning of check out I returned my keys to the front desk and was told I’d receive an email with my final bill. 9 hours later I received a text asking me to please let them know when I’d be checking out and u had to follow up 3 more times to receive a copy of my final bill.

The location is great but the hospitality and communication made me feel like I was inconveniencing them.

Huge Cockroach - “water bug” they said. Same thing! Spider in bed. Pills from previous guest on floor in corner- still there when we left. Bed changed once in 10 days- only after i asked because of the dead spider. Floors filthy- black socks (don’t go barefoot!) - asked yo have it mopped. Nope- just swept. “Not enough staff to do deep clean”. Manager “not on site” when we asked to speak to them. AC. doesn’t work correctly- room stayed ay 70 or above- thermostat didn't alter the room temp. It was like it was on a preset temp and even if you changed the setting to cooler, it did not happen. With no air movement it was difficult to sleep at night, just too hot!. Do not recommend this! Pics look nice -
but they are deceiving l.

When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff but once we got to our room and noticed the hair in the shower we called the front desk and the man working that night was a little rude when we told him about the hair. We asked if they could have someone come clean the shower and he told us there was nothing they could do because there was no one who could do it.
He then told us all that was possible was to be moved to another room but there was no guarantee that we would get the Riverwalk view which was confusing because we were not at fault for the hair in the shower.
Furthermore, the room was very hot the AC never cold down to the lowest temp 66 degrees.
I have 2 babies so we keep it 65 degrees at home so they can sleep through the night.The lowest the temperature got was 68degrees we are not use to it being that hot at night so we were all uncomfortable.
Also it doesn’t help that the AC works off sensors, the last night I put tissue paper on the vent so it could detect movement all day that we were gone that’s the only reason the room went down to 68 degrees.
The bed also had a dent in the mattress on the right side of the bed so my back hurt so much I had to switch my husband. One thing that also confused me was that there was no microwave in the room. They had a fridge to keep your food cold but no microwave to heat it up. The room is 419.

i didnt like paying for parking,sucks no having free coffe on the lobby and no continental breakfast we go to mexico and they have excelent breakfast there chilakiles,suusage,ham,eggs,cereal,bread,coffe,juice and a lot of goodies for free you guys not even free coffe that sucks the lobby not that clean the the rug by elevetors very dirty you guys can do better than that

Woke up several times during the night because of some mechanical noise. It sounded like they were moving furniture, perhaps mechanical repairs or accommodating the weights at the him next to our room. Those noises went up the whole night. I suggest Expedia address the issue with the hotel.
They also attempted to charge us for parking that was already paid. Hotel indicated they have returned the charges; but they still have not reached my credit card yet.

When I got checked into my room the restroom were dirty the floor was dirty not mop and I found someone dirty sock by the windows the room floors looked liked they were not cleaned either and my kids room dirty as well not staying there again

The pool was closed for 1 whole day..repairs
They could use more lounge chairs..the pool area was very clean n water was crystal clear the day we did enjoy the pool...buffet breakfast every morning good verity of items to choose from..staff was very helpful and recommendsights to visit...room was clean and refreshed daily, towels replenishment and beding fluffed..all in all a great stay ..

This was an ok hotel. Location was great. Room was a little stuffy, didn’t feel as clean as I would have liked, and we only had 2 towels for a 4 person room. We had to go down to the desk to get more because front desk would not answer the phone. Overall it was fine, I just have higher expectations for the price.

Parking in the garage is very limited. If you get there early enough, park and dont leave or you wont have a spot later on.

When we arrived i was about to take a nap and when lifting the covers, the bed and pillows had hairs on them like if they just did the bed after someone just left... I called like 4 times until they went and changed all the covers for me. I was very upset for the price and the experience was bad.

Very nice clean hotel in a great location, with direct entrance thru the Riverwalk. Small but clean pool and gym. Nice working jacuzzi. Comfortable bed. Would stay here again if needed to go back to San Antonio. Many decent restaurants close by. Maids were very kind.
Took the bus to the airport for two dollars! Just ask Google Maps and it was super easy.

Great stay overall for the price during spring break. However, there were three things that prevented me from giving this place five stars. The first thing was the valet. We pulled in only to find out that they weren't doing valet and we had to park at the very top of the parking garage. Other hotels around us were all doing vallet so I thought that was a little odd. Second thing was the breakfast. 23 bucks for the buffet that was extremely mediocre was unacceptable. Lastly, in our bathroom there was a pretty strong sewer smell that just lingered for the both nights. Don't know if that was just a city of San Antonio thing or if it was isolated to just our hotel. In regards to the staff they were fantastic and the cleaning staff was amazing! We had an issue in our room that needed to be cleaned up and they were up there immediately 🙏

All in all, we had a good time and will definitely consider it on our next visit to San Antonio Riverwalk.

Rooms weren’t very clean. Floors weren’t swept small pieces of glass on the floor, so we asked a housekeeper to sweep. Didn’t sweep very well, still ended up stepping on a piece of glass. Other the that the amenities were nice, delicious food at the hotel restaurant. Very close to the river walk.

Floors in the room were very dirty. Within 30 minutes of being out of shower, my feet were black. I had to wash my feet before retiring each evening. Plenty of entertainment, food and sites within walking distance. Big negative was $39 A DAY to park onsite in attached garage. Pay to park was mentioned NO WHERE. I would have parked on the street had I of known.

If you book a balcony do not expect it to be a river view. They have 28 rooms with a true river view the rest are so high up that you see nothing and all you hear are air conditioning units on top of other buildings. I complained and was told river views were not guaranteed. They did try to move me to the river side on the 22nd floor, so high up you cannot see the river and the noise made the balcony unusable.

I expected the hotel to show some sensitivity to the special circumstances and agree to cancel the reservation without paying a cancellation fee. When we got there it was nice from the start but as we came into our room we saw there was mold in the bathroom. Then we went to go out to walk through the riverwalk and hotel has an entry way straight there. However as we went that way that was a homeless man blocking the door that just about knocked over. The. As we were in the hotel there were a few roaches. For as much as we paid for parking and the room and not even free breakfast that you think the up keep would be way better.

The room was great and we enjoyed the balcony overlooking the river. We were there for the rodeo parade and could see it from the balcony as it crossed Houston street. Loved the ease of going out to the riverwalk or out the front of the hotel to the street level. Easy walkable area with lots to see!
