Been staying here when in Pattaya for 16+ years , for the money and the location its very hard to beat . Never had a problem , staff always good , cleaners do a great job . If you have problems with this place you are either very unlucky or just have problems with life .Recommended .

Bring your own towel. Provided towel seemed like it is used for floor. The next door clubs play loud bass music till 3 am which requires you to have headphones to cancel out.

It's a very cheap property and I didn't expect it to be any more than just ok so I wasn't surprised that it's not great. Ok if you're just spending a night there. Unfortunately I asked for a no smoking room and was told by reception that I had a no smoking room, but the room had a disgusting smell of stale cigarettes and even an ash tray in the room. I won't be staying there again.

This is a nice Hotel. It is very good value for money and the location is excellent. There is also a washing machine facility which can be used at a cost of 30 baht. The wifi is fast and the staff are couteous and helpful.

Unfortunately the aircon was faulty. Reported it a couple of hours later and asked for a small fan but they said no have. I have stayed here in the past with no issues so it was just bad luck this time that it was so humid that night and the staff could not help.

Yes I would go back there if I ever go back to Pattaya. Love the bed in the box. The bed and pillow was a bit hard, and made it not so easy to sleep, but I was only there for 2 nights any way. It was nice and quite at night there. Please travellers, have some consideration when using the showers not too leave S...t on the floor and rubbish in the showers for the next person. Clean up after your self.....

Made reservations with Expedia, great price, arrived everything was exactly as expected. Staff had my requested room all set. Room was very clean, staff helped me set things up including the in room safe. Only wished I had a chair or two in the room.

soi buakhao budget hotel near Soi LK Metro

The breakfast here was good. The hotel is a bit old, but it does the trick for a budget traveler. You would have to walk 25 minutes or so to Walking Street, but a motorbike will get you there in 5 minutes, or you can walk 15 minutes to Beach Road and take the Baht Bus and get there in a few minutes. You can walk to Soi LK Metro for bars and go-go bars and be there in minutes. Massage places just across the street and around the corners are very very cheap. Good wifi and daily housekeeping, guest friendly. The basic room I had did not have a real balcony, just a small outside area to step out on and get fresh air and smoke if you wish. Plenty of places to eat nearby.

Nothing to cheer about

Hotel was in a decent location, not too far of a walk from the beach and walking street. The street that the hotel is on has a few bars as well. The overall condition of the hotel was fine, nothing special, decent bathrooms and a fine bed. In general, a cheap hotel that's fine for staying in, in an average location.

I have stayed here before and rated it as ok on the basis that it is very cheap and you get what you pay for.
After the latest trip, I would definitely give it a miss in future as the quality of room is too poor and I'd rather pay a little more for something better.
The room I had stank of stale cigars. The dirt-stained bedsheets were changed for blood-stained bedsheets. The room had a back door to a small balcony and there was a gap of at least 3cm under the door. The aircon didn't work properly.
The overall experience was unpleasant.

Stayed nearly 3 weeks in April/May 2016. Surly reception staff. Penny pinching attitude ... charged me for the water in the fridge and for a blanket I accidentally soiled. First room had no desk, chair or bed headboard. Shower head hanging off the wall.Second room after 4 days complaining slightly better.Don't try the breakfast... either over or undercooked. No water in the morning on at least 2 days.Would not recommend.

This is a good place to stay if you can find a quiet room or don't mind outside noise. It is in a good location if you don't mind walking maybe 5 or 10 minutes to the beach. It has 24 hour reception and security and CCTV which gives you peace of mind. All of the staff are polite and helpful.

IT'S A 3* BUT IT'S UNDERATED

It's a 3* hotel but it's better than that.There are all types of rooms but it's best to go for the standard room. All rooms come with AC as standard,rooms get cleaned towels and bedsheet replaced everyday. The hotel is on the main road but the room I was in was very quiet no outside noise I was able to sleep like a baby. I had no complaints with the staff because Iam not a moaner and I what I needed was mostly outside. Pattaya is a 24hr city, there's something to suit everyone and whatever pleasure you need you can get.The location of this hotel is within walking distance of everything. They are a lot of bars,restaurants and shops that sell a bit of everything from what you are used to here in the western world and there all in competion. Forex exchange and cash machines are littered everywhere. You can easily walk to the famous beach road,a giant shopping mall and it's also walking distance of the \"Walking Street\"There are private Taxi services all around the hotel that can take you to a lot of tourist attractions and are competitive.They can take you to attractions like\"Tiger Zoo, Elephant Village,Art In Paradise,Aquarium even to the Tiffany Show and they can recommend to you a lot more other places to see and they also do airport runs. It was my first time in Thailand but I never felt out of place or lost. People are very friendly especially the women pattaya has so much to see and do. My only complaint was Thai Baht is not as cheap as I thought it be

Meh. Nothing special if you go cheap like I did. Close to Soi Buakhao action though. If cheap like me, better to just stay in their dorms and save more money. Room was okay, but basic. This is Thailand, good art is super cheap, spruce up the rooms a bit! BUT! If you think Heinz beans on toast and a beer at 10 a.m.is what to eat in Thailand, you'll love it. No guest fees though!

Standard hotel in a very busy street with everything around you.
Nice staff, and clean. Good resturant in the hotel with breakfast buffet.
I had a superior room with breafast for 2, but you will never get it when you. book in as one person. I had a overnight visitor, but have to pay for one person. Should be changed to breafast for one.

I have stayed at the hotel several times now and I keep going back because of a number of factors. It is centrally located, has great staff and breakfast buffet is very good. The hotel is an older style but can't be beaten value for money. I will be back again soon.

On arrival the staff were polite and helpful.
No problems with check in, it was raining heavy one night and the security staff gave us an umbrella to use. Have stayed at many hotels and had a very nice stay. Rooms are ok to, Shower had problem to get hot water but not a problem.

Great value for money

Have stayed here a number of times now and will do so again. Hotel is very well situated close to all entertainment, restaurants and not far from the beach. It is a very secure hotel and the staff make you feel welcome. Before I went this time I had to change my dates and was able to do so with the hotel direct without penalty.

Convenient and affordable

This is my fourth stay at the hotel and on each occasion I have enjoyed it. It is conveniently placed to all interest points and for the price is clean, comfortable and secure. It is in a busy area but is quiet in the rooms. Staff are courteous and friendly and the restaurant serves an excellent breakfast. My bookings have always been handled very well through Expedia and I have always been confident of my room being ready on arrival. I will certainly be booking and staying there again.

Budget hotel

This is for the budget-minded traveler, for sure. A small, but functional room, fairly hard bed. I thought the room was reasonably quiet; I didn't participate in the nightlife and didn't feel that noise kept me up at all. The aircon was only working at half speed and didn't really keep it as cool as I would have liked, but it was not unbearable, all things considered. I did not find the staff very friendly at the front desk, though they did respond to issues, however unenthusiastically. Many places to eat a short distance away.

The hotel is nothing flash but when you look at it through the cost of the accommodation it meets all criteria reasonable locating depending on what your needs are.
Even the smallest room has room enough to move around.
The front of house staff need a little more training English but they still fudge through nicely.
The restaurant staff do their work well even with the diversity of their customers the food and prices are reasonable.
The convince store are close plenty of available scooters taxis at the door the baht bus goes past
regularly.

Value hotel well located

On bhat bus route so simply walk out of the hotel and flag the man down. Beach and Walking St all walkable from hotel. Food good value and a range on offer. Near bars, restaurants, stores, cinemas, launderettes etc and the main bar for all live EPL football plus other sports. All in a cheaper part of town. Room basic but functional. Service good from trained staff. Safe environment.

The hotel is a fairly typical budget style and is comfortable and practical. My Expedia booking was processed well and had no troubles booking in.Location is great and is close to all points of interest. I had a good quiet room and the cleaning staff were very good.Great restraunt with good specials.I would certainly stay there again.

Great for the price your pay

I was there 3nights, rooms are surprisingly great and contort able for the price u pay, in a busy neighborhood but the rooms are very clean and quite.
Basically everything is great for less then 30 bucks u paid except service was not so good, they seems doesn't care and not friendly but not rude as well. If u dot care about the service that much, everything else was more then great for the price u pay specially the location and the standard of the rooms.
Will I stay there again? Yes. Cuz for the price is great room and convient locations. I really don't care about the service cuz I am in the room or out doing activities.
Overall recommend hotel in pattaya

Nothing special about the hotel, but location. Right in the middle, with walking access to Beach, Walking Street, all massage parlors, 7/11 and anything you can think of. Room furniture was old style, hotel condtion is ok ok, but for the amount you pay to stay here, and location you get (which I always prefer) I was satisfied. Quick check in and quick checkout was plus was well.

TOTALLY SUPER LIVING EXPERIENCE!

Stayed Nov 1 thru Nov 21 very clean room, very quiet, small refrig, no clock, no free drinking water even for brush teeth. I do believe I received more than I paid for a very good place to stay right in the heart of so much action. Easy walk to the beach or shopping. Plenty of restaurants and delicious food even in the hotel. I will stay again.

I found the 18 Coins Inn very clean, my room every day and the hallways no junk around and very kept up. Found no outside noise that bother me and no cooking smells or ordors. When I did open my door could hear ground noises and restaurant aromas.

Budget hotel @ good location

My friends and I stayed here for about 3 nights. The rooms are quite small in size. I had an ancient tv in my room but my friends had LCDs in theirs. The location of the hotel is perfect. Walking distance from walking street etc. Tuk tuks passby every other min so no issues getting around. 7 11 right across the road. They have a very nice restaurant below. The receptionist is very rude. So do not expect help. Overall what we paid for is what we got. It is quite cheap. If you are a budget traveller you could count on this place. For me, next time I would spend a little more and stay at another place.

Over all the hotel was nice and the room clean. A bit run down looking in the front desk area and the staff a little difficult at checkout when I requested a written receipt for my reference.
The location was in a neighborhood that busy with lots to eat and see. The community a busy but relaxed but missed seeing more variety of Asian food. The restaurant at the hotel had good western and European food in big portions and provided good service except when I ordered a steak done rare they brought it well done and argued about it to me when I sent it back. It took explaining why I liked it that way.
I liked how they named the sausages, \"Bangers\"!! Great name for them!

We book 2 night and found this hotel as a cheap type hotel with all girl finding
The customer service was rude.
The safe was not working so they were.like we are busy we asked them 5 time but they never turn up
You can get better option of hotel

If you check the review then it will be good as they have a cafe bar down stair where they serve good american food so most of the review is for that and not for hotel room.if you are with family then never stay here

Nice and affordable Stay

Upon checking - in every thing went so smoothly that i was very very happy.
It took approx 5 min for me to complete the check in process.
Room was nice with all the basic amenities(Electronic Safe, Wardrobe, Mini Bar, AC, Shower etc).
I had some issues while operating the electronic safe and i went down at the reception and asked for the Help and the lady at the reception was so nice that she herself went to my room and checked it.... So nice of her.....

The most important thing about this HOTEL is its location... It's on center location...Few min walks will take you to the beach..you can get local transport from just outside the HOTEL..

HOTEL has its own restaurant on the ground floor(I will share my review on the dedicated page for this restaurant)...

In Short if you are on limited budget and want to stay in center of the location is the BEST PLACE TO STAY WITH :-)
