I truly enjoyed the resort. There were enough pools for everyone. The water park was a nice addition. We arrived on Tuesday, left on Friday and our room wasn't cleaned once. They did bring towel though.

It was not activities at all on the resort. The staff were rude upon check in did not tell us anything about the resort what so ever not food amenities anything. No one directed us on how to get to our rooms. The rooms were never cleaned our entire stay. The AC in the room could not be adjusted. The pool chairs and chairs in dining room were disguising. Only a few staff were nice. All the women staff were extremely rude and not accommodating at all. The only good part was the food and the bartenders. But it was no frozen drinks for our first 2 days. Overall terrible would not stay here again!!

I just got home this morning from my stay. I had a wonderful time. Foolishly I had neglected to contact the staff before booking to explain my age and inability walk long distances or climb multiple flights of stairs. They were totaly booked and I was afraid I would have to look for other lodging. Luckily the young lady at the desk Keisha, was one of the the most helpful, professional and caring people imaginable. She spoke to the manager and found me a ground floor room with nearby parking that was empty but not cleaned from the last guest, she told me to go to the restaurant to have dinner, and she went and prepared the room while I ate. The room was spotless, the rest of the staff was very nice and the food was great. I would stay there again any time.

The two star is for the water park amenities and the size of the room for a family of 5- if I could rate everything else separate to that I would give it a 1 (being generous).. when booking a trip in another country it is very important to read reviews and hope that the reviews are accurate, and the 7.8 star review for this resort is far from the truth. Here is my honest review for our stay and experience-

Pros:
Water park for kids
Large apartment areas with plenty of space
On site parking

Cons:
-Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff
-Food is mediocre at best- no variety and only one option for restaurant- all inclusive does NOT mean unlimited drinks in rooms, cannot bring food back to your room from buffet. Once food was out it was barely replenished at the buffet
-we had no blankets in our room the first night, it took 3x requests the entire next day to get blankets- they said they forgot to put them in the room and were “too busy” to get them to us
-robot bar was not working the entire week- none of the frozen drinks working- only one bar open
- no entertainment/activities other than bingo one night for 30 minutes
-pool/water park closes at 5pm
-fire ants everywhere in room (comes with tropical territory, I didn’t ding for this)
-coffee in room is not free- you need to pay for this
-toilets were leaking all over and the water pressure was terrible/either too hot or too cold

I think the worst part of the entire stay was the eye rolling and unfriendliness. Look elsewhere!

Room was fine. Pools were fine. Drinks were good. Service was fine. The food was absolutely awful. There were no signs saying what anything was and what I did try was gross. Lived off salad and French fries. I’m not asking for 5 star for the price I paid. But come on. Also, only had hot water in the shower in the afternoon, never in the morning and something other than a sheet for the bed would’ve been nice.

Liked the space and layout of the room. The balcony was lovely. Spent many hours sitting at the table there playing cards and reading. Pools are good. The kid's pools seemed to be great as well. The reception staff were very courteous, check in and check out were easy. The location is good. As long as you are ok not being on a beach. very close to the airport, Punda and other shopping. If you are thinking this is AI like Cuba, Mexico or Dominican you will be very disappointed. Entertainment was a mediocre DJ on 2 nights of our 6 night stay. But the biggest reason for the 3 rating is the food. It was absolutely awful. The Pizza was pretty much the only thing that was appetizing. You won't go hungry but the buffet is repetitive and the food is poor quality. Over cooked and bland. I would stay there again but only if we were to rent an apartment with kitchen so we would be able to eat on site.

I give it 3 stars for the following reasons. When we arrive we did have to wait more than 2 hours our to get into our room because it was not ready. We visit in the Carnival season which is very busy. Eventhough they offer us to enter the room while they were still cleaning i think they could have done better. By offers vouchers or gift cards. Room need more maintance and cleaning(dusty). AC was leaking water. Eventhought we did call for assitance during the reception working hours nobody pick up. I think the hotel was understaff. During our second day nobody came to cleanup. One thing to keep in mind if your room is on the 3rd floor it can be very annoying if theres alot of wind which will make the Palm trees shake i make alot of noise. Specially during night hours.

However great place for families and couples. Delicious foods and drinks. We love the Pizza Restaurant. A lot of pools to choose from GYM is spot on. Staff are very friendly.

The suite only had AC in the room, everywhere else in the suite was always Hot, the bathroom was not sanitary. Upon arrival there was hair on the sink, and shower, the paper towel thing was empty and inside there was bugs. When the cleaners did came. They did even empty our trash, they just swept, and fix the bed sheets, didn’t even change them. And there was a stain on the pillow case. Despite pointing it out they were not charged. The food was mediocre, nothing was labeled if you had an allergy you have to be real careful about what you pick to eat, dude to things not being labeled and cross contamination. The bar could not make something as simple as margarita. Staff were friendly though, and there was ample parking.

ROOM, STAFF & AMENTIES. I didn’t get the room I paid for which was double room. I had to settle for a standard room. No washcloths, geckos was all in the room. Not enough staff on duty. No bars open after 11pm. Nothing to eat on the resort after a certain time. Pools open at 10am.
The tour too Porto Mari Beach was Nice. At the Taxi guy Bryan was nice who picked us up from the hotel to take us to the airport.

The bed had no head board, no draws only a small closet with 6 hangers.The sheet had a stain day we arrived and day after it was changed. The TV wasnt clear and when trying to reach front desk it just kept ringing no one picked up.

The staff was not friendly. Staff working bar/drink area told us no we couldn’t have certain thing that were on menu. Asked for clean towel on Saturday, received them Thursday, we were checking out Friday. No hot water at any time of the day for showers. Pools were cold. We weren’t aware the water park day pass guests were allowed into resort area on a day pass. Not a very good selection of food at the only restaurant for entire resort. The pizza was great, my family lived on it for a week. When we booked this resort description said a 5 minute walk to beach- it’s a 20 minute bus ride to the closest beach. Overall not impressed at all by its Kunuka Aqua Resort. Island is beautiful and the weather was great.

Of all the attributes of this resort that render it wholly unsuitable for a relaxing family vacation worst of all is the food, followed shortly thereafter by the lack of any lifeguards and then non-existent service.
Let’s first talk about the buffet. There could not be a more sorry excuse for buffet if one tried. The food is utterly and completely inedible. The food consists of a wack-a-mole of literal garbage: pasta with hamburger meat mixed in; peas in a soup of mayonnaise; some cured meats like salami; more pasta (with butter); diced up chicken that’s overcooked; various fried rices, most of which contains the leftovers of prior meals. They have a giant empty tub of mayonnaise at the bar instead of proper drinks with which they douse the food until it becomes unrecognizable. Breakfast is literal trash. No one was willing to make an omelette even when we offered to pay extra, and the sunny side up eggs are loaded into a metal vat with some bread at the bottom to absorb the grease and cracked yolks that invariably run out. The staff, none of whom are trained chefs or have any culinary experience, seem to be walking about in a daze. Any request you make of them is met either with abject resignation or a dead stare, as if they are unable or unwilling to process your request. Silverware, plates and water are routinely unavailable so that even if one did have any inclination to eat the food, one would be unable to do so. We ended up just eating out virtually every night .

The room was in an amzing condition. Staff was great however we disnt like that 1 of the kid pool was closed off. And also the water park area was only open on the 3rd and final day of our stay. So we didnt get to utilize it. Also while the lunch and dinner was amazing, breakfast was the same items both days.

We did the all inclusive & the breakfasts were great, we loved the burgers & hotdogs around pool area. Never had the lunch buffet & the dinner buffet could use a little upgrade. The drinks & cocktails great. Now the rooms on the outside very nice. The interior bathrooms upgraded & nice. We had a suite & when first walked in were hit with the heat. Only the bedroom had an Ac which was fine when we slept but if you want to relax comfortably after a day in the sun the living room that leads out to balcony was not comfortable cause it was hot as balls. The decor is like a glamping camping trip so maybe that’s why only Ac in bedroom. I did enjoy being a kid again on the slides & the staff are lovely.

Very nice property and nice staff but it’s not on beach and no elevators so you’ll have to take your luggage up several flights of stairs. Especially if on the 3rd floor. The rooms are a nice size but don’t have traditional outlets for charging, they make you pay $6 for an adapter. They only have 1 restaurant which is a buffet that serves the same food everyday. They do have a pizza station and a snack bar but you can’t really get anything until 6pm . Unless you’re not a guest and purchased water park tickets. They have a bbq grill you can use and sushi but you have to pay for it unless you stay for a week. The pools close by 5pm and dinner ends @9pm. They have no real adult activities going on and you couldn’t even go out because you have nothing around the property.

The food was definitely a high point! There was a wide selection, including snacks available to order throughout the day. We especially loved the dining variety:
You could order your own pizza in the evening if you wanted a break from the main buffet.
The sushi restaurant was my favorite.
The do-it-yourself BBQ was a fun addition.
The cocktail and alcohol selection was excellent, and I loved starting every morning with an iced coffee in the heat.
Another huge benefit was the free daily shuttle to various places. This was fantastic for exploring the island without having to rent a car. The tour desk was helpful and informative, and a special shout-out goes to one very helpful reception lady whose name I unfortunately didn't catch—thank you!

Areas for Improvement
Slow and Unfriendly Service
The service for drinks at the main bar was disappointingly slow. Although there were many staff members walking around, only one person seemed to be working the bar, leading to long waits.
To make matters worse, the unfriendliness of certain staff was very annoying. Many times, it felt like we were a nuisance just for asking for a drink—there was a lot of visible huffing and puffing. This made the few genuinely nice staff members, like Joanie, really stand out.

Cleanliness needs attention. Our room wasn't fully cleaned for three days in a row; we just received new towels. Furthermore, on some days, rubbish was left on the side of walkways for hours.

The check was a headache. We had to wait in excess of an hour to have access to room. Besides that the staff was very helpful. I visited in May so some activities were not in operation but those that were was great. The place is quiet, clean, inviting and fun. Will definitely be back again.

This resort definitely caters more to families and locals. I visited with my boyfriend, and my biggest issue was the lack of respect for privacy. We had our ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on our door, and staff entered our room without permission twice. Once while I was in the bathroom. On the bright side, the food was decent with some variety each day. Staff interactions were a hit or miss . Some were friendly, but one bartender in particular took our order and never returned. It has potential but I won’t be back

Upon arrival we were informed the room needed to be “checked”, even though we arrived 45 minutes later than the check-in time. We waited for 15 minutes and then decided to go wait by the room, which was clearly ready.
The first night our electricity shut off/ on approx. 10 times, when informing the front desk of this mishap they nonchalanty said this was the local electricty company, and would not compensate for this issue. Being locals, we are well aware that this issue would not be caused by the electricity company and stated this to them as well.
The buffet restaurant was okay, sometimes things would run out. Or certain areas not even utilized to provide more options.
The pizza restaurant was good, waiting time a bit long but they made this clear with a sign at the ordering counter.
The snack bar ran out of wings, which I found odd and the burger was not beef but ‘frikandel’ patty instead.
The upsides, the room (family room) was spacious enough for us as a family of 4. The building we were assigned has a parking space, which is not the case for all buildings so this was a pro.
The waterpark was the main reason we chose this stay for the kids and it was a hit.

We would most probably not return for a stay in the near future but a day pass most likely for the kids to enjoy the waterpark.

Check-in felt rushed and unwelcoming. We were handed wristbands, given our room number, and directed to scan a QR code for resort information—without any real orientation. There was no explanation of where our room was until I asked, no mention that the buffet was about to close (which would have been helpful after a long trip with two small children), and no offer to assist with luggage. The reception area itself is quite small, lacks seating, and isn’t equipped to handle the high volume of arriving guests. Overall, the arrival experience felt cramped and disappointing.

Check-out was especially frustrating. We weren’t informed that a generator installation was scheduled at the main entrance on the morning of our departure. As a result, we had to carry our luggage up to the gym area and wait outside in the heat for our cab. Once again, no one offered assistance with our bags, which made the experience unnecessarily stressful—especially with kids.

Overall, my kids had a great time. The resort is great for families thanks to the variety of water slides & exceptional buffet, but the customer service in the front desk & bar areas really needs improvement.

We stayed from June 19-24 2025 in one of the 3 bedroom villas. One of the sinks in the master bedroom had a leak. The shower isn’t fully enclosed so the water runs over the little lip thing that is supposed to prevent the water from getting outside the shower. There were medium and small roaches. The microwave in the kitchen didn’t work. Breakfast was plain. Same options every morning. Lunch and dinner was average. Nothing to write home about. While the resort does have day passes for locals, it creates a displeasure for paying guests. It felt like the locals were given precedence over everyone else. It’s okay to have options for locals but instead of closing the pools and other services for everyone. Close those services for the locals and allow guests to enjoy the facilities. 2 employees that deserve to be recognized and appreciated. Maybe even given a raise are Curty and Tesari (I know that’s not how to spell her name). They both work evenings to closing mostly by the pizza bar. They made our stay fantastic. Most of the other staff were not friendly. Making us feel like we were an inconvenience when asking for something. Most importantly, being a kid friendly resort more options for young children would be great. And please please please consider having food options past 9 PM.

The staff, service, drinks and the resort facilities were good....i particularly did not like the structure of the washroom in the 3 bedroom apartment...when bathing the water kept spilling over to the toilet area...I am a vegetarian and the options in the buffet for me was.very limited ..not to mention the repitition of the same menu in many instances...The thing that i was most disgusted by were the amount of flies around the food in the buffet and the fact that no.attempts were being made by staff to get rid of them...

The check-in process took extremely long as there was a long line with only two staff checking people in, there was also nowhere to wait inside, so the line was outside in the heat after a long day of traveling.

Finally getting into the room, it was much smaller than pictured. The restroom smelled like urine (the maintenance manager Jesus was the only helpful person), the TV was broken, which they said they would switch out immediately and never happens , they pushed two twin beds together without anything holding them together, which made sleep that night extremely uncomfortable, they did not give any blanket for the room, and there was literally one pillow per person. Then the best thing was while I expect to see things like lizards, I certainly did not expect to see the huge cockroach run across the bathroom wall that I’ve ever seen in my life.

Being that this was for my birthday celebration, the cockroach was certainly my last I demanded a room change, which Jesus was extremely helpful with, but other than that day of cleaning up the new room for us, we could not even get towels from housekeeping, staff or get them to come clean up the room And when I went to the front desk about it, they told me that they can offer me beach towels so that I can shower, but that they could not tell me when housekeeping would come. Needless to say, I will never waste my money here again.

Service was not on point. I had to call three times just to have someone clean the room and it has been two days since anyone even come. No service this place is not a real resort more like an Air BNB that feeds you when your only allowed to eat. The price they charged for this resort was not worth it I asked around the island and everyone said the same. You can spend the same for a better resort on the island. We stay as much as we can outside the resort. Ooh and a can of soda at the resort is $4.50cent oh my god.

This resort has limited food and drinks, everything closed off at 11pm. if your flight is delayed and come in late there is no food or snacks. Not much variety of food. The drinks were awful, only the beers are ok. No top shelves liquor or proper mix drinks. The staff were not friendly at all...
The rooms are not cleaned, the cleaners only come twice a week to change the linen. There were roach, bed bugs bite me up. Overall, I was really disappointed with the resort, especially the cleaning the rooms. I personally will not go that resort anymore and I will not recommend anyone to go.

Overall this resort nice. I agreed with the star rating it has.
The food at the buffet had a good variety. Staff were polite.
Loved the spacious apartment for our family and how quiet the resort felt- it was full but didnt feel crowded.

There were areas for improvement. The pool closure times were varied so the waterslides were shut off early when our kids still wanted to enjoy them and others were never open despite us asking for the operating time which disappointed them.
The frozen drink mixes were not ready until dinner some days and when you want a cool drink on a hot day, this can negatively impact your experience.
There was an issue with ants in the rooms which was not a huge issue except for the one time they were all over our freshly changed towels, which made us not want to use them.
There entertainment was geared to a quieter crowd ranging from BINGO to karaoke. Though this can be nice for some it was not as enjoyable for children and young adults who would like a more.
Finally there was not a lot in regards to dining. The two booked dinners were for sushi and bbq. We only experienced the bbq, but found it quite disappointing as we were expected to cook our own food- not what we expected for an all-inclusive.

Overall this was a good resort and we would return but if we did we would have more clarity on expectations.

The food options were very limited...either the buffet (all meals) or the snack shacks/pizza for limited hours.

This is a resort for kids/families & they take over. Since the resort sells day passes & don't even think about trying to get to the bar or snack shack during the day pass hours (which I think are 9-5). The pools are also super crowded during the day pay hours. Once the day pass crowd clears out...ahhh...relaxation! But the pools are only open until 7pm, which means that's it's only available to those staying at the resort for 2 hours. There is no reason the pools couldn't be open after 7 since most would love to sit out/swim after dinner hours (until 9 /10).

The snack shacks & pizza were chaotic to say the least. There is no clear line or queue. Someone could be standing 3 deep on one side & others just come up on the other sides & get served first. They need to fix this as it was very frustrating.

The staff was less than friendly, enthusiastic, etc. Didn't feel like we were catered to, but more of a nuisance when requesting drinks, food, etc.

The room we had was a basic king/2 twin beds. The doors slammed at all hours of the night as there is nothing stopping this. We even tried to close the doors quietly, but it's almost impossible. They need to have a silencer to prevent this as it was very frustrating late/early. Lacked maintenance...towel bars/lights falling off.

Much more, but limited on my characters. Would not stay here again.

I stayed in at the resort for 8 nights, with my husband and 5 & 6 year old kids. I wanted to start off by saying my five year old son had gotten food poisoning on our fourth evening we were there. He was awake all night SICK and we had to stay in the room for the whole of the next day! And needless to say he refused to eat at the resort remainder of our stay. Which lets me get into the buffet area every time we walked into the restaurant to get our food there was never anything available. We would wait and wait and wait for the employees to replenish the food .We decided to get there early one day the lettuce was out but dressing came 45 minutes later, which is just one example. If we asked anybody for anything it was as if we were bothering them. Plenty of attitude from the employees, they would have conversations with each other and act as if we weren’t even standing there! They would be on their phone and when we went up to the bar to get a drink, they would sigh with discussed because we were bothering them! One of your employees was even standing there popping her pimple on her face behind the bar!!! In the buffet area, there was always food on the ground. One evening, I walked in, and I slipped on what looked to be a french fry that was stepped on and smashed from somebody else and almost fell. On another evening we got back to the hotel after eating dinner out my son was hungry so I told my husband to go get a pizza. (Let’s be safe,how bad can the pizza be) he went

It was good but I didn’t like the fact they don’t mentioned that eveything is closed at 11pm on the website before booking which sucks because you have kids but also adult at the resort that wants to enjoy themselves. If they didn’t want kids there then they wouldn’t have a smoking areas everywhere literally so I don’t get why drinks are done at 11pm
That was the only thing I didn’t like but the food is good and staff are okay

Dinning facility is ok ,food variety and quality terrible, only 1 small soap for two people, 3 botle of water upon arrival, room housekeeping 2 time weekly, no service to move the luggage to and out the facility no refri arrounf the hotel for water softdrink and other needs , no lobby you have to wait outside under tge sun for service, I booked for two week and only stayed i week I cancel the reservation and move back home , dwfinitle NOT RECOMENDED

Really family friendly hotel that caters to all ages!!! The kids loved it and despite the great beaches in Curacao spending a day at the hotel us a lot to do with the slides and playgrounds. The restaurants and bars were great as well.

My only area for improvement could have been the food options for lunch and breakfast as the menu was pretty much the same everyday.

Overall rating 8/10!!!!

We had such an amazing time here! If I had to describe it, I would term it quickly, I would say that its the Walmart of All Inclusives. In that I mean that it has everything that you need there, but it isnt super fancy. It was just right for us and we loved it!

To be honest, we have never stayed at an all inclusive before. Its always been out of our price range. When we saw the pricing on this, we thought either it was an error (some all inclusive hotels list the hotel room but its just the room at a certain price point) or there was something really wrong with it. But for the price and the included water park, we decided to take a chance and we are so glad we did!

For starters, this is definitely a family friendly resort, not somewhere I would go on my honeymoon or anything. There are kids zooming around going to the pools, and isnt what I would consider fancy or romantic. I went with my 2 year old who really mostly hung out in the 2 kid pools, but the other pools were cool too. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the snack bar food was included, the buffet for all meals was included and all drinks (including cocktails) were available. I even had mimosas with breakfast every morning! The buffet was basic but hearty with plenty of options. (Only thing I would NOT recommend was the sushi restaurant).

The resort was clean and beautiful. There were plenty of lounge chairs. We loved the live music at night. There was a kids club as well. Rooms were very spacious.

The mattress was very uncomfortable as it had a sink in the middle, the room were never cleaned while staying here, they have one tiny soap for 5 days had to ask at front desk, there were pigs and cats on compound . Other than that the place is nice

We visited there in May 2024 and it was a great season. Not so much humidity and no bugs. They have 6 pools including 2 kids ones and 3 big sliders. My daughters, 10 and 6 years old, really enjoyed them. After they slept, my wife and I enjoyed music night from the balcony. I strongly recommend to visit with all-inclusive. No shop near the hotel.

This resort is terrible. I’ve been to resorts and always come with cash for tip but this resort, the employees are rude, they are super slow, they don’t help. There’s no music at all throughout the resort, we had to carry our own luggage up a hill and upstairs to the room. The food was decent with no much options. Never been to a resort like this. Definitely all older people who aren’t the nicest either. I would prefer anyone looking for a good time is going to the city because closer to the airport is not worth it

They need to work on their customer service skills. The ppl in reception ignore you, and the ppl in the restaurant go out of their way to make your stay uncomfortable. You have to pay for a bucket of ice, pizza that they said was free, and the food is horrible. Honorable mention to Vichisn and Billy. They take their job seriously.

For families with small children is a fine option
Rent a car if you want to move around. Taxi service is expensive and unreliable.
Food is okay.
Service is not what you would expect in other Caribbean All inclusive. Example: no one would ever ask you if need anything, if you want a drink, or if you need help carrying your bag 3 floors up stairs.

It has a very relaxed atmosphere.
The island is so pretty! People are nice. Natural, safe and welcoming.
