Reservations were made for us to be picked up at the airport by 24/7 car service, and we had to wait as they had to look for our information when reservation was made a week before for car service.

The resort was clean, some of the ladies at the front provided awesome service Like Danyella. The website needs to state a car is mandatory for the resort.

We did not have a car and had a breakfast package included in our package and did not have any way of getting to the location or beach which was like 5 minutes by car. It was never mentioned or reiterated by the lady that checked us in (Gilly)

When we ask to be picked up to go to the beach or to have breakfast, we received push back stating only if someone is available and it's not guaranteed like if we was bothering them.

We had to hire a driver to come on the resort to take us to the beach and restaurant on the resort, even the driver stated it does not make sense to pay when its free for them to take you.

I ask for a refund for my breakfast package we had two more days left and th when we saw a shift in the ladies at the front being extra nice.

The staff and bar members tended to the white people
before they tended to us and that is not a good way of treating people. Our last day there we did not have breakfast/ Everyone should be treated fairly, and we did not receive that from Blue Bay Curacao Gold and Resort outside of that the Villa was beautiful.

Overall, I will not be visiting this place again.

The 4 bedroom villa was really nice and perfect for our group. Great location in proximity to the beach and resorts. The price was very affordable and the resort has a lot to offer. I would definitely return and recommend to those who are looking for something more affordable than an all inclusive resort.

As a solo traveler I wanted to try a different type of stay and went for the apartment experience. The resort is nice but very spaced out so I found myself further from the beach than I would have preferred (my apt was in the gardens). The staff is definitely kind; I do think communication could be improved when scheduling airport transport, no one responded when I reached out for my arrival. Upon departure I was able to make my request, but I did have to reach out again because they seemed to have forgotten I requested to be picked up from my room first (due to luggage) but my taxi after checkout was there and waiting on time. There were also days when 2-3 times a day someone would stop by to try to replenish towels and while I appreciate their attentiveness each person seemed to be unaware that my room had already been attended to. Only the bedrooms are air conditioned and while the living room has the doors that can be opened to let a great breeze in the mosquitos (especially at night) prevent that a bit at least for me. The resort is very forthcoming about the ants and mosquitos but even upon arrival with no food left out and the trash empty they were pretty rampant in the kitchen only and as someone who really dislikes bugs it just made me avoid the area. The private pool is shared amongst those staying in that area and is therefore in need of more pool chairs, there were 8 but 2 were broken. Overall, I think this would be a cool stay for a family with a car.

The hotel was clean and very spacious. It is nicer than you see in the pictures. The kitchen was fully equipped and in good conditions. The staff was polite.The pool is rite in front of the room with is very convenient but you will have to drive by car if you want to go to the beach specially if you are with kids. We have included breakfast. The menu is limited but it was well prepared.
The room hasnt any protection for the mosquito, and the windows are not 100% closed, the window are in a ventilation structure which the mosquitos can enter to the room easily. If you have kids you have to go prepared with repellent and room repellent equipment.

I booked this property expecting a hotel-style stay, but the experience was very misleading. At checkout, we were suddenly told we owed additional charges for electricity usage — something never disclosed on Expedia’s listing. I’ve stayed at hotels all over the world and have never once been billed for utilities. Guests should be made aware of this before booking.

Beyond that, some of our personal items went missing from the bathroom during the stay, which left us feeling uncomfortable and unsafe.

For the amount we paid, the experience was stressful instead of relaxing. Beautiful island, but I would not return to this property.

My family and I stayed at the Blue Bay Beach and Golf Resort specifically The Ridge for 7 nights. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The view and the infinity pool was perfect. We opted into the breakfast package, which was tasty and very convenient to get the day started with. We did rent a car vehicle, which I highly recommend if you plan on exploring the island and free parking was available. Depending how many nights you stay you are allocated a certain amount of units for electric and water. If you go over then you will have to pay. We went over but the cost was $23.50. We did forget to turn the AC off when we left out for the day a couple of times. We beach hopped a lot but if you plan to just stay on the Resort, Blue Bay Beach was beautiful and calm. The beach itself is fairly small but during our stay it wasn’t super crowded. Overall I rate the property 9/10 and would stay again.

First of all the property is beautiful, the stay was great until, we went for breakfast the food was horrible. second the moment we step in the we step in Blue bay Jasmine. The house keeper was slowly going into my locker and steal small amount of money. And here we think we were spending too much. What make it worse, is when the lost day they have stolen over $350 US dollars in cash and took pictures of one of my daughter credit cards and ran up over $300 charging on it. When we reported the matter to security and general manager. They act as if they don’t understand a word I was telling them. I also reported the matter to police and there respond was there have been over 20 report of the matter house keeper or stealing and the manger or general manager are not doing not to resolve the issues. You travel In another country just to relax and have fun, I hide my purse in my closet and the house keeper went and searched and took something that doesn’t belong to them. And the company did not care. I would not advice no one to go there or if you do carry your personal belongings on you all the time. Because there are a lot of stealing going on in the Blue Bay Resort.

Beautiful property for a little slower paced vibe. Ocean is accessible and crystal clear blue. We stayed at the shore and ot was gorgeous with ocean views from our room. Food is good. Phanesa was fabulous in scheduling all our pre arrival needs - golf, daily breakfast and adding additional guests. The only downfall is \"island time\" absolutely applies. Service for meals or asking for an additional water can take much more time than you'd expect. However, I would recommend and would return.

We stayed for 5 nights in Ridge and on our 3rd night the ring that was in the room was gone. It was a designer ring that costed few thousand dollars
Managers came and said they will investigate and follow up with us but never heard from them again even after calling and leaving messages asking about the follow up. We filed for a police report and even the police said they had incidents like this before at Blue Bay and management will not help nor do they care
about it.
To make things worse, we found a mouse inside our property roaming around. When I told the front desk that there were mouse in our room their response was ‘oh’ It seemed like they knew about the problem but didn’t seem to care to fix the problem.
Very disappointed in their customer service and overall service.

Horrible service. Takes very long time to attend to the guest needs. They were an hour late to get my room ready, the pool was dirty and a mouse snuck in the property and came into my room. When I told them they took their sweet time to get mouse traps. They asked what they can do to accommodate and I told them I wanted a refund which they said they will do. When I came back home and spoke with Expedia they stated the hotel wasn’t aware of a refund. Do not book with them!

The property at Blue Bay is stunning, with an incredible ocean and beach view, though there’s limited shade from the sun. If you’re seeking entertainment, this might not be the place for you as it has a more laid-back atmosphere. For the last two days of our stay, there was construction next door, and the loud banging in the mornings was frustrating. The room itself was lovely, though the main living area doesn’t have air conditioning—only the bedrooms are air-conditioned. The toaster was broken, and despite asking for a replacement, I had to wait until the next morning, only to find it still hadn’t been replaced. I had to go back to reception to follow up. When I went to prepare breakfast, I discovered there was no frying pan in the kitchen. Quite a few inconveniences.

The staff here are amazing. Also, there are cats on the beach, and we were told they are fed and cared for. This property is beautiful and quiet--you can tell that we're mixed in with vacation homes on the property and tourists.
The location is in the middle of the west side of the island--so if you want \"more party\" or even more dining options, those are a 30 min drive one direction. Turtles and the more hiking are a 40 min drive the other direction. Airport is a 15 min drive.

The only reason for 4 stars is that the facilities need to be updated in terms of security for the Shore Villa. We have 2 fobs/2 keys for 8 adults, which was not enough--we felt like we were in Fort Knox, but vacation style. A bracelet style fob for access to at the beach in the very least would make more sense. For the price it is to stay at the Shore, we should be able to get 2 more actual keys to the villa.

Other than that, everything was wonderful. I would stay here again, but probably just choose a room/apartment not in the Shore, because everywhere else on the resort (Garden, etc) it's not on lockdown.

Again the staff is very nice and we know there was nothing they could do to remedy the key situation at the time--we're just expressing it here for rentals on Shore.

Finally, this area would do well with a little coffee shop on the beach.

Everyone was extremely courteous and welcoming. The Staff was went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Making themselves available around the clock and extremely accommodating. The only thing I wasn’t pleased with was the all-inclusive breakfast which consisted of the same meal. Everyday. No substitutes. Also the website advertised a grass tennis court, which it was not.

We loved the Blue Bay, the beach is one of the best resort beaches we experienced on the island. The resort is huge though and if you're staying at the Garden Apartments you need either a car or rent one of the golf carts to get around. Luckily we had a car. The walk to the beach is doable but in the humid heat it would not have been a good time to walk in. Our 2 bedroom apartment was great only thing to note is that there is no air conditioning in the living space but there is in the bedrooms, but not a big deal because the doors to the patio open all the way. We ate a the beach bar(10/10), Blue Bay Beach Restaurant Coast restaurant (10/10) and Restaurant Lemongrass (10/10). They were all really good especially the berry pancakes at the Lemongrass. All the restaurants also were decently priced for a resort restaurant. The Garden Apartments area was beautifully maintained and the pool was clean and very nice. We enjoyed our stay!

The property, beach and villa were amazing. The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. My only issue was the lack of communication from the resort before arriving. We reached out to the front desk and the golf shop via email and phone. We only were able to communicate with the golf shop via phone and the prices quoted over the phone and posted on the website were different at the resort…When we brought up the issue to management they simply said the “the price is the price” …that is my only complaint, we would have been better prepared with our golf clubs if the prices were quoted correctly. I do not feel it was handled properly being that we were staying on property.

The resort was extremely safe, nice staff, and the grounds were well kept. Unfortunately, it was closer to camping than a beach resort. There is no air conditioning except for the 2 bedrooms, which have no TV. The kitchen and living room are sweltering hot all day and night. There are also no screens so if you open the wood slats, bugs can come in. We were warned by hotel staff to be careful opening wood blinds because mosquitoes carry dengue fever. Yikes! Every outside noise is heard inside. Loud neighbors woke us up nightly! During our 8 night, 9 day stay, housekeeping only came one time. You are reusing towels for days. They have no washcloths at the property. The flush on our toilet broke. I was told maintenance would fix. Nobody came that day. When we asked about it again, we were asked to use the 2nd toliet for the remainder of our stay because they needed to take the entire wall piece off to fix the flusher. The four of us ended up having to use one toilet for the last 2 days, even though we purposely paid for a 2 bathroom unit. On the 2nd day, our dishwasher started stinking up our entire unit. It smelled as though rotting fish was in it, even though no dishes or anything were in it. We dealt with the horrible smell and 3 days of maintenance coming in and out until they finally found something causing it 3 days later. Beach and restaurants are not walkable distance. Consider somewhere that’s better maintained…

The apartment was wonderful. Very comfortable and quiet. The pool right out front was lovely. Internet signal in the room wasn't the greatest which impacted the tv use (smart tv). Expedia listed a microwave in the room but there was only an oven. It was about a ten minute walk to the beach. Restaurants were all excellent. I would return.

The Blue Bay apartment was more or less ok to stay for a week, but due to several very uncomfortable features, I can’t imagine staying here for a longer period of time:
-The windows in the apartment are all looking at a very busy road used by huge construction vehicles from 6:40am until late evening. It would be ok if there were actual glass windows on them, but there are only wooden shades and NO glass on doors and windows facing this road. To avoid mosquitos coming into the bedroom, these were kept closed down for a week, which made it so awfully dark and unpleasant in the room.
-There are not enough lights in the bedroom and one of the bedside lights is broken off
- The air conditioning is only present in bedrooms and not in the large kitchen/living room area. It gets extremely hot in this area and no fans were provided. Doors to the balcony need to stay closed during rainy mosquitoes season - Only 4 free pods of coffee were provided for the 4 people staying for 7 days. Not a single supermarket on the island sells these special size Lavazza pods, only reception sells them at $1/each
-The beach is 20min walk away, but there are absolutely no walkways available for pedestrians and cars and construction vehicles drive 10-20 miles above speed limit on these roads -If we do come back to Blue Bay again, staying at the beach buildings, or close to the beach, is necessary, unless those are cost prohibitive

Overall I had a great time, I wish I would have done more research and rented a car, because we spent quite a bit of money on using the taxi service. The front desk (Yvette and Danielle) were absolutely a pleasure and the Chef, kitchen staff and Bartender at Lemongrass made it even better. My husband had an iguana prepared that was amazingly cooked and presented it was the highlight of his visit, but we definitely will stay here again when we return.

Resort is beautiful on a magnificent beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nicely kept grounds and good food and bar service on beach.
Our unit:
Two million dollar view in our large 3 BR/3 bath condo, contrast with college dorm quality furnishings. Needed new paint and bathroom cabinets falling apart. Most uncomfortable beds and pillows. Seems like after purchasing unit owner ran out of money to furnish and upkeep.

The property was clean and well maintained with the exception of the fridge and coffee maker. There should be air conditioning on the main living area. Some mosquitos. All in all not bad.

Property was peaceful & beautiful. Not much information was provided, it was difficult finding activities to do on the property & the surrounding island. Need better road maps, directions for areas to go would be very beneficial. Maybe it’s a cultural thing but to get waited on was comical. Didn’t seem as though anyone cared on how your meals were or if you would like more to drink & waiting on the bill took quite a long time. Always had to ask for it, usually from someone else & not the server/waiter. It’s almost as if they disappeared or left for the day.

Pretty good, but not enough to keep me.

Somewhere between 3.5 to 3.6 stars but not a 4 If I had to pick out all the minor flaws with the room they would be high double digits. All these little things add up. The private beach is a 3 minute drive, it's decent, not the clearest waters but passable. The bar serves decent food at fair price w/ live music at night. At the end I've decided to cut my stay short and try other 4 star resorts.

It was cleaned and in a safe community. Overall was nice and comfortable for a family of four with children, there was no AC other than the rooms, it would have been nice to at least have some fans in the living room to help flow the air inside, we had all windows open all day and it did help a little but it is not enough air circulation. We would stay here again, the beach was a 2 min drive and we were lucky our unit was right in front of the pool which was perfect for our boys. We made most of our meals in the equipped kitchen which has all the basic for what you , there is also a great grocery store close by (maybe a 5 min drive). It was a beautiful place.
