The room was lovely but there were a few things that really let down our stay.
Firstly the parking, we booked this hotel rather than others as it said free parking, but the can park is so small, it would only allow about 1 floor of the 4 floors of rooms. So we had to pay extra for on road parking.
Secondly although the water pressure for the shower was amazing, the noise from the toilet syphon and water usage through pipes was so loud it woke us up when people next door or upstairs used the facilities.
Thirdly we were on the first floor, room 6. We were woken up at about 8am with constant noise of furniture being moved which at first we though was upstairs but told it was from the restaurant when we politley complained. We were offered a free breakfast but did not have time to accept this as we needed to get back to our car for parking time.
Finally the mattress in the room was not comfortable at all, bad nights sleep and you could feel the springs in the mattress.

Overall its well designed hotel which from the moment you walk in offers so much, wide open areas, nicely furnished, and large rooms. Its a real shame that the points above let it down so much.
At the price i paid i felt it totally underdelivered.

I would not book this hotel again.

Very friendly staff both at reception and in the restaurant at breakfast. Well positioned on the seafront with the 700 bus stopping right outside and going direct into the centre of Brighton regularly.

Our Executive Room was a good size with a small outside terrace. Breakfast was amazing and very good portions for the full English.

All in all, a good value stay. Would use again

The room was perfect - really clean, huge double bed and bathroom with a bath - such a rarity these days to find hotels with a bath. It was very comfortable. The staff were lovely and the whole process of booking, checking in and out was great. I was a bit worried when I was told that the car park was first-come, first-served as there are limited spaces but actually it was fine and the free parking was a blessing. Would definitely stay here again. x

The hotel itself was tired & dated which, of course, included the rooms. The beds & bathroom were very clean though (shower over bath facility). The plug points were very old & there were no USB points for charging phones/laptops, etc.The staff were pleasant.
Entrance to the car park was so narrow, we had to pull in our wing mirrors. We won't be returning.

The room was tired and could do with a renovation. The bed very uncomfortable, creaky and the mattress was not good at all, lumpy and could feel the springs.

The whole floor smelt of cannabis and cigarette smoke.

The location is excellent for walks along the seafront into Brighton or for hikes on the South Down (if you have a car). The hotel is clean, the beds were super comfortable with good quality sheets and mattress covers. The bathroom was fine with good shower pressure, if you have any mobility issues request room 2 on the ground floor which has a walk-in shower. Very quiet overnight (we faced the back of the building). We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for convenience of location and would be happy to stay again.

Very friendly staff, nice, clean room, good breakfast and a good Thai restaurant.
We biked from London and we were allowed to keep our bikes safe in our rooms. The lift was large too which helped.

A Good Hotel to Stay

I stayed at the hotel with my brother and sister. Our sister was visiting.

Our stay was fantastic. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. We could not ask for a better place or service.

The food was wonderful and delicious. We look forward to another visit very soon.

We truly recommend this hot, as a lovely place to stay.

Great short break in an executive room. Room was clean, modern and comfortable although this particular room was quite small. We have had rooms much bigger executive rooms when we stayed in the past in this hotel.

The hotel was nice, comfy and welcoming, lovely views from the balcony which was a bit small, however the staff were nice aswell, it was a bit of a walk from the main attractions on the seafront, but then you're away from all the noise of the bars/clubs, but our stay was lovely.

Dated hotel but comfortable room. Some toiletries are no longer provided which is not reflected in the in-room booklet and sub-standard in my opinion. No air con in the room but there is a small fan. Only reason to come back would be for the sea view which is beautiful on a sunny day. For breakfast, I would recommend heading to the cafe just outside on the beach if weather allows.

Great! Lovely friendly staff with a genuinely warm welcome. I could tell that the staff in the restaurant knew some of the clientele from their stay by their conversations. Im sure it's those personal touches that make a difference when choosing a hotel. In my experience Best Western are great at choosing the the right staff that give great customer care.

Super friendly staff, and wonderful enviroment. Check-in and out was a seamless process and stress-free. Beds were comfy and bathroom was lovely and clean. Not too far from Brighton Pier, and the bus stop in-front of the hotel made for an easy route - the hotel staff were very kind even when we returned in the early hours of the morning 😅. Would highly recommend!

There's a bus stop right outside which was great as it dropped us right by the shops and a few minutes from the Lanes.

Nice hotel with parking a bonus. Friendly accommodating staff. Room was nice and clean. Plenty of tea and coffee etc. Nice food in the restaurant. Bar person was lovely as was the waiter and the chef. Drinks at the bar not over expensive. Bus stop right outside so easy to get into town.
