This is a 100% of a example of not judging a book by its cover.

Wonderful staff. Clean rooms. Only issues were low water pressure and couldn't figure out how to close drain in tub to take a bath. Great place to stay to see the falls.

King room, mattress needs to be replaced. bathroom shower walls, need updated. Could see outside at bottom of the door. I could hear the people next door talking.

I really had the best time staying here. First, the lady in the front desk is SUPER HELPFUL & KIND, it really feels like going home to be welcomed and helped that much during our stay. Second, we got a complimentary water (which they actually not supposed to give it to guest). Third, when we’re not sure how to depart from the hostel to Niagara falls, she told us about the free metro that the hotel in the area are participated, so at the end we got 2 days pass free that normally should cost us $2/p/day. When we have to checkout, we put the key in the box in front of front desk as she told, but on our way out (already in lyft), she went out from the room and even go out to waved at us. SHE’s so kinddddd really, anyone staying here will have the best time of your trip 😊✨🙌

Good place to stay
Scott
Room was clean. Check in and out was very easy. Would stay again
Charles
Certainly met our expectations! It was a fun throwback to another era! Very clean, affordable, and the room amenities worked great! Compared to chains, the TV allowed us to use our FireStick! Well done!
Gisel
Excellent service and everything was very clean
Mark
Super clean, and friendly folks running the place. They made us aware of the fireworks/light show happening at Niagara Falls (happens at 10 every night!). A good solid place to stop for the night.
Furkan
good for price. would be nice if they had some water in the fridge.
Roberta
Room was clean. Small but cozy
Pool needed some cleaning but it wasn't awful.

Staff was very personable and helpful. Location was close to everything.
Latha
Unfortunately, this property didn't live up to expectations. The room was very cramped, and the amenities were minimal (just one sachet of shampoo and a small soap, plus no coffee filters). The layout also poses a bit of a challenge, as the bathroom door hits the toilet seat, meaning you have to lift the seat just to shut the door. While having access to a pool was a nice perk, the overall quality felt too low-end for comfort.
Aitihjya
Good location but the room amenities could have been better.
D
Cute, sheik, simple-cleaner than some of the brand name hotels, less than 20 suites and for as many ppl that were there, it was so quiet!!
Christen
Like other 1-star reviews that I only read after the fact, they were very shady about sharing their check-in policy. I got NO messages as they claim they send to other reviewers about this policy, and when I reviewed my confirmation, the policy is on tiny print amongst all the other tiny print AT THE BOTTOM of the tiny print. I am LIVID. I drove 6.5 hours with my son only to arrive at 12:30 to a closed office with no answer by bell or phone. I had to find another hotel to check into. They should have their check in time listed as the range — not “after 3pm” but “between 3pm and 12am.” Absolutely rotten of them to not make this more clear and hide it in footnotes, and doubly rotten to claim they make efforts to reach out to you. I got no messages or calls at all. Despite their “Wonderful” rating, which is why I chose them, I can’t give them anything. From now on, you can bet I’ll be reading the worst reviews FIRST. Not a great way to advertise your policy, Moonlite.
Jade
Check in was quick and easy- motel room was clean and smelled good upon arrival. The motel was very old school in terms of decor and amenities, which i didn’t mind at all, but pickier people might. The air and fridge worked great and the bed was decent enough. Super clean looking pool and parking lot also.
Gabriel
The bathroom may need few updates, an bigger toilet and some extra stand to set all your personal stuff
The rest was great, not complaining

Clean and comfortable. Nice, clean swimming pool
Scott
Parking was great, rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.
Thomas
It was just an old roadside motel that was OK to sleep. There was some homeless man outside in the parking lot talking loud and didn't go away until 12:30am.
This is certainly not a Marriott.

Doug
Room was clean, room was cool. Went swimming and pool was great. Great stay.

The Moonlite Motel was perfect for our two night stay! This is an older retro style motel that is well cared for and run by a family, not some hotel chain so it felt good to support a local family business. The room was very clean with a comfortable king size bed and had the necessary room amenities. They even have an in-ground pool that is well maintained! Thank you for a great place to call home for a couple nights!
Wendy
My go too Motel \"everytime\" I'm trip planning. Eddie& Marlena are truly beautiful owners like my family now. Great price amazing location clean comfortable & a lovely pool good safe parking. Recommend to many and they all feel the same. Best Motel on the strip.

Not very welcoming at the front desk. Many rules and regulations that seemed obvious. Hotel room was okay but a bit shabby and out of date. And really no box of tissuez during high allergy season. There goes the full roll of toilet paper to wipe your nose!
We grew up in this area and have stayed here over the years. And now I remember why we stopped getting a hotel room here.

Convenient location and quite clean. Love that they have family suites to comfortably fit a family of five. They provided extra blankets as well. Beds are quite comfortable, but pack a sound machine because the road noise ca. be loud! Owner is incredibly kind— shipped my daughters lost Kindle back to us!
Janeen
No frills but clean and comfortable.
Patty
Room was okay…very small had an odd smell when the air conditioner was on. No coffee. Found several hairs in bathroom.
Anil
Stayed with family. Very affordable and located around so many food options. Close to Niagara Falls, I’d say 10 to 15min far from Niagara Falls Welcome center.
Kumar
It was very good experience overall. They really were helpful!
Candy
Dated interiors but clean, well
Kept, comfortable beds, quiet off the main road,
Good recommendations for local eateries .

This is a wonderful, old school, affordable motel in Niagara Falls. The owners couldn't have been nicer. Ever so helpful and kind. The place was immaculate, will located, comfortable and perfect for an overnight or two or three. The ladies in the room next door were from Toronto. They have stayed at the Moonlite Motel multiple times.

The room was small but clean. Very nice bed. Slept very good for one night stay. However, it was advertised that there was a shuttle to the casino. The shuttle was a city bus with several stops on it the way. We just drove ourselves. I would recommend this property.
nelson
Motel is clean and well lit. Rooms are clean. Great stay.
jonathan
Over all it was a nice place to stay. The owners were great and the rims liked newly remodeled. Only real complaint was noise. Uf you are a light sleeper the walls are thin. We could get the people next to us and they weren't being unreasonably loud either. And a fun cave is the motel was featured in a tom hanks movie, A man named otto.
Kashyap
Room size was good And properly cleaned. Parking area had plenty of room.

good location, clean rooms and basic amenities. Parking is free and always available.
Brad
Great place for an overnight stay! Needed somewhere to stop off for the night. Chose this based on rate and online reviews. Close to many restaurants. Check-in was easy; staff very pleasant and helpful. Free parking close to room door. Room was clean and comfortable. Would have been nice to have an in-room coffee maker, but Starbucks nearby took care of morning coffee. A/C kept room pleasant. Cable TV had many offerings. Great facility! Would definitely stay again should I be in area.
Nicole
Property is conveniently located to shopping and entertainment. Very clean and well kept, management friendly and responsive.
SARANYA
There was no cooking allowed in the room other than that everything was perfect.
Amanda
Lots of room for our family of 5. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, parking is next to your room, and it is close to several restaurants. Within 15 minutes of the falls.
Was a great place to stay the night.

Wonderful place to stay! Just enough nostalgia of the old motels but completely updated and modern. Very clean, safe and quiet and a short drive to the falls. Would definitely stay there again.

Dawn
The owners are wonderful. We have stayed there last year as well . Convenient and close to where we wanted to go. Will stay again.
Rachel
Great place for a quick stay.
Andrew
Only issue was I couldn’t get the WiFi to work. That really wasn’t an issue though. Main thing was staff was incredibly nice, room was clean, it had a refrigerator, bathroom was nice, close to a bunch of food options and 5 minutes from Niagara Falls. For the price it was sincerely a great deal. If I come back to the area again soon I will be staying here again. Thank you!!!
Kelly
Clean nice staff is great!! I loved it.
Elizabeth
The lighting was very in the room. Heating system was loud. We could hear neighbours through the wall. Disappointing.
Michele
\"I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Niagara Falls. The rooms have been completely renovated and are exceptionally spacious, featuring beautiful bathrooms with modern showers and tubs. In addition to two queen beds, the room included a very comfortable, overstuffed sofa bed. For guests who smoke, there is a designated smoking area outside each room. The hotel also offers a pool and a convenient after-hours drop box, allowing you to check out at any time. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and I had the pleasure of speaking directly with the owner, who was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. With great pricing, excellent rooms, and outstanding service, this hotel is well worth considering for your visit.\"
Daniel
The staff went out of their way to be helpful for us. They were exceptionally kind and friendly. We will be back!

Amazing place !
Amanda
Clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed. The room was a bit on the small side given the amount of furniture in the room. The personal touch from the presence of the owners was really nice. They were very friendly and helpful. Great parking, and option of storing luggage.

Parking was easy. Very close to Niagara falls state park. lots of dining options available nearby.
Jeanne
It was ok. The “excellent” reviews were an exaggeration. The bathroom was tiny. The room had a very strong disinfectant smell, which was almost overwhelming. We probably would not choose this hotel again.
Shashi
Gentle man was very welcoming. 10kms from niagra falls, but affordable budget 100 dollars
Carla
The gentleman was nice at check in. Would recommend a coffee maker in the room.

The reviews don’t lie! This place is incredibly quaint and very well run. Perfect location to the falls. Restaurants nearby. The couple who runs it care, and it shows. No doubt, whatsoever I would stay here again and highly recommend it…

Very clean and well keep room.
AC worked but needs to be replaced due to problems with controls. The hot water is slow to arrive and otherwise fine.
I will gladly use the motel on our next trip.
