The Red Coach Inn is an historical building about 500 feet from the entrance to Niagara Falls State Park, NY. The views are beautiful and the property is well kept and clean. The staff was absolutely lovely! Everyone from front desk, the bar, the restaurant, and the entire staff was kind and attentive.
The restaurant was delicious and convenient!

We booked the Red Coach Inn for our visit to Niagara Falls, not 100% certain about the location. We could not have been more pleased withe Niagara Falls State Park literally across the street. We did everything in the park, walked around Niagara and even went to the Canada side of the falls without ever moving our car. The room was delightful. Breakfast was amazing and all the staff were friendly and efficient! We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the small cottage feel of the Red Coach Inn! We felt like we were part of Niagara Falls history staying here. Location is amazing. Every morning I was able to sit and enjoy my coffee right by the rapids leading to the fall. The restaurant was wonderful and staff made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to come back and stay again in the future.

We had a very good stay at the Red Coach Inn. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Niagara Falls, and the hotel has a warm, charming atmosphere. We also really enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant downstairs.

A few things could be improved. Our room was on the third floor with access only from an outdoor staircase, which wasn’t very convenient. The shower had very low water pressure, the bathroom could have been cleaner, and the toilet paper was of poor quality.

My biggest concern was a $120 “extra guest” charge, even though my Hotels.com reservation was clearly for 2 adults and 2 children, and that is exactly who stayed.

Overall, I would stay here again for the great location and cozy atmosphere, but I recommend checking your final bill carefully.

This property is a national treasure and I felt privileged to have had the opportunity to experience a part of history that no longer exists. While it does not have the amenities of the surrounding nationwide chains, it has an ambiance that can rarely be found. Was the perfect backdrop for our visit to the falls.

The suites were spacious and quiet. Loved having a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. My family of 4 could spread out and have space to themselves after being together all day. The staff at this inn were phenomenal. Amy helped us to reserve a bus trip to Toronto for the next leg of our stay and also recommended a taxi for any local trips and Mario was always our friendly, efficient waiter at breakfast, which was excellent every morning. We ate dinner at the restaurant our first night and it was also very good. We stayed in the Finedon Accessible room. Our room was very clean and the furnishings were very nice. The bed frame did pop on one side when you sat down or got up and I’m not sure if someone with a true disability could use the tub, which was very deep. Overall our stay was excellent and we would highly recommend this inn.

The room was so much more than we expected. When we arrived, the air conditioning was set so that the room was cool without that musty feeling found in some rooms. Classical music was playing and there was a free treat for us in the fridge. The full kitchen was spacious. In fact, all the rooms were spacious. The bedroom was large as well as the bathroom. The sitting room was like two rooms in one. Breakfast was included with the cost of stay. It was wonderful. We were offered the full menu and could select whatever we wanted. Over the course of four nights, we sampled many items and all were delicious! We also at dinner there one night and it was exceptional. The staff was never intrusive but always friendly. The view from our room was also beautiful. We could see the water as well as the nightly fireworks from our window. Lovely! One other item that topped everything off was that once we parked our car, for no additional fee, we were able to walk to EVERYTHING from the hotel. This was one of the nicest stays we have ever experienced!

When I booked this property, I did not realize that there were only a few rooms that were wheelchair accessible. Once I realized this, it was too late to cancel and the staff went above and beyond to speak with another guest to see if they could switch rooms so that we could have a lower floor. The guest was accommodating and we were able to stay! The room was beautiful, clean, and so comfortable. We were within walking distance of the falls which was amazing! All the staff were very friendly, even bringing our breakfast to our room since the restaurant wasn’t wheelchair accessible.

The location was perfect for the walking to the falls and the view of the rapids stunning. The Discover shuttle (free, goes to various spots in Niagara Falls and all the way to fort Niagara!) stops right outside of the inn. We loved the breakfasts— excellent menu choices which were delicious. We actually ate dinner there as well and were never disappointed! Filet, swordfish, duck—all wonderful. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially Janelle, Shiloh, Kim and Julie. Thank you!

Red Coah Inn is historic, but has very up-to-date rooms, done to look historic time period of the 17th/18th century. The Red Coach restaurant is a very good place to eat as well, before I new it was an Inn, we were told by friends about the restaurant and stopped for supper and have eaten suppers there 2 other times since. Both times we've stayed at rhe Inn we have gotten 2 free breakfasts which I had steak & eggs and my spouse, a 3-cheese omelet. Delicious! We LOVE this place. When we go to Niagara, we stay at the Red Coach Inn!!

Our room was located on second floor facing Canada. The view of downtown at night was really nice. One of the closest hotels to the falls. Out the front door and across the street was the park with sidewalks leading down to the falls. Onsite dining made dinner and breakfast really nice and both were amazing. This place just isn’t a room. It’s a memory. From the minute you step inside to check in, it’s like you have stepped by in time. A place to relax and stay even if the falls were not there.

This was a great location for many things in/around Niagara. The check-in process took longer than expected because staff couldn't be found. At breakfast, a whole meal was forgotten and nobody came to check for about 15 minutes (all other party members were nearly done). The toilet paper was worse than most rest areas. The room was gorgeous, even though we spent little time in it. Overall, we'd recommend with some cautions.

The best thing the Red Coach Inn has going for it is the very convenient location literally across the street from the Niagara Falls State Park. You can easily take a nice stroll to the American Niagara Falls attractions. The hotel itself shows its age but they do a pretty good job keeping it up. The room decor was in keeping with the style of the inn--not modern. The gas fireplace would be nice in colder months. The included, made-to- order breakfast was average at best (despite the rave reviews I read), as was the dinner we purchased. They seemed short- staffed like so many restaurants. On-site parking was a plus. Staff were all super nice and helpful.

It was only a 15 minute walk to get across the rainbow bridge into Canada and the state park on the United States side is directly across the street from this hotel, so everything was very convenient. Been to the Red Coach Inn a hand full of times throughout the last 5-6 years. This time it didn't live up to what we have experienced before. We were able to check in about an hour early. Once we went into room, we noticed a black marker line on one of the walls, heard lots of loud people through the walls, untrained staff, staff members missing while others trying to find them, appliances broke down, I can go on and on about things. What's sad is we've never experienced anything like this in all the times we've been there. We usually come on our wedding anniversary, and this time was no different. Kim the bartender and the blond hostess seemed to be the only ones on there a game. The young lady that checked us in was very good as well. I am hoping this was just a bad day/weekend. Things happen we will definitely be back and hope for a better experience.

We stayed in the Coventry Suite and it was beautiful, exactly like the photos. The free cooked to order complimentary breakfast was delicious, excellent coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us ideas on things to do, and best place to see the fireworks, recommended getting a bracelet for the trolley that takes you to all the attractions and is only $5 for the whole day. It came in handy. Aimee,the receptionist is THE absolute best. She's the one to talk to. She's worked there a long time and is very knowledgeable and friendly and just awesome. Our room overlooked the rapids and was across the street from the state park. The best location there was in my opinion. I will definitely be going back and staying again. I recommend this hotel 100% i wouldn't stay anywhere else

The Red Coach Inn is a hidden gem in an excellent location, right at the entrance to Niagara Falls State Park and close to everything. It was an easy walk to the park, the falls, and nearby attractions, and we could even see the rapids from our window. The staff was very helpful, and we loved the thoughtful extras like complimentary snacks in the room and thick towels. The restaurant was amazing, from the made-to-order breakfast to dinner and dessert. Our waitress, Julie, was incredible. The inn is older, but full of charm and character. I would absolutely stay here again.

The location was great and staff was helpful. But the food and the was bad. For lunch, I had an omelet with potatoes. The omelet was Ok but the fried potatoes were as if they were done three days ago. Also, breakfast the next morning was of poor quality. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get our food served and when it came it was not what I had ordered. They did not have enough staff to attend all guests.

Plenty of old world charm throughout the building, with clean updated room. Room was well appointed with comfortable bed and jetted tub. Mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker all came in handy. Only downside is the bose radio and the Samsung flat screen were a bit dated (no bluetooth or smart tv features). No USB plugs in room. Parking was convenient. Location can't be beat, steps from the falls and shopping/attractions. NY side is less built up but with plenty to see and do on OldFalls Street. Live bands, games, and food. Made to order breakfast the next morning at the hotels's restaurant was the perfect touch.

The hotel/bed&breakfast is OLD, ie built in 1923 so it keeps its original feel- so just keep in mind, no elevator/no staff to help with luggage. Because every room is themed, please call ahead and ask where the room you like is located on the property ( 1st fl, 2nd, or 3rd) because of course you will be CLIMBING STAIRS UP ! The Winchester is lovely btw :)

Parking is free, but space is limited

The FREE breakfast is a plus ( the menu does not change daily), but again it's FREE!

The location is TOP TIER- literally within 2-3min walking distance to walking/bike trails looking over Lake Erie Rapids toward the falls.

For any history buffs, Niagra Falls is the last step towards FREEDOM ( African American history that has not been mentioned, and I learned alot doing research and going to to the Harriet Tubman Museum- about 10min away)

I hope to be back soon to experience this magical place again!!

Breakfast comes with the room, but the restaurant is severely under staffed. One person acts as server, hostess AND front desk person! The breakfasts were just ok...the first morning I ordered the steak, eggs and potatoes....it was all cold. The next morning it was lukewarm and no one ever came around to fill my husbands coffee....so I got up, found the servers station and grabbed the coffee myself to refill his cup. The staff overall were very nice...but clearly over worked.

Rooms are entered by outside door. There’s a lot of wear and tear and what has been replaced is cheap. We stayed in Trafalgar and there was an awful smell just outside coming from downstairs. The restaurant is nice. We only had breakfast which was included and it was very good. Nice waitresses.

Made to order breakfast was amazing. We got a cheese tray and a mini bottle of champagne in our refrigerator om which was great. Staff although there are few are very helpful and accommodating.

Understaffed, person working front desk was also working in Bar and waiting tables in restaurant. Rooms are in need of an upgrade but our room was clean.
When providing information for this hotel, please note there is no elevator and one has to take their bags to their rooms with no help, in addition for seniors, the toilets are very low, the shower may be difficult to get in and out of and the beds are higher than the average and may be difficult to get in to.
Great location though and breakfast was very good.

I had a great stay at Red Coach Inn. The room was very clean, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. We also received a thoughtful gift of cheese, crackers, strawberries, and champagne, which was such a nice bonus.

We stayed in the Essex Room, and it was perfect for us. The room included a microwave, a Keurig, and a refrigerator, which made everything very convenient. The view from the restaurant while eating was beautiful, and the hotel’s location is unbeatable.. literally right across from Niagara Falls State Park.

The staff was very attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The hotel offers parking, and once you’re there, you really don’t need to drive since everything is within walking distance. Having a restaurant on-site was also a plus.

Overall, we had an amazing time. We stayed from May 1st through the 3rd for my partner’s birthday. The weather was a bit cold and rainy, but it didn’t take away from the experience. I would definitely come back just during a warmer month next time!
