Our room was dirty, old towel left in bath tub, dirty pillow case and chips left under the bed. Clearly not cleaned well. However the fact parking is an additional $50 I feel ripped off, I already pay $300 for not even 24 hours. The staff was good, and pool and hot tub was nice.

We love staying at the Oaks. Staff is always efficient and helpful. This time we were given a room in what seemed like an older section of the hotel. Could only get there by going up a couple of dmsll sets of stairs. Seemed to be at a far end of the property. Although we were given an upgraded king room, the room was under furnished and needed a refresh. Have yo say we loved the bed.

Even the hotel says The New Oakes, the washroom needs an overhaul. Vents are not clean. Ceiling had stains. Floor was sticky. Yes, view from the room was excellent but for the amount of money they charge, one expects a top notch room condition. Parking was too expensive, $50 overnight and it is not even 24 hours of duration.

No usb ports in the room, carpets were dirty and the A/C didn’t work. I went to the front desk and they didn’t fix it. They just had someone come look. Overall not a hotel I would return to. Parking was $100 for 2 nights which I found crazy when you pay so much to stay there

Rooms were clean however a lack of plug ins and lamps. Maid service didnt happen unless we requested it. Gym was quite minimal and sadly were rusty. No bar bells. Didn't use pool as it was packed wuth people and small pool.
Parking was 50 per day of your stay. That seemed alot. Then one day when we came back from our outing all of our room keys were stopped. We had to go back downstairs and have them reinstate the cards. When I had to call front desk the phone rang for sometime then it was picked up by someone laughing. Sorry not professional. The view from the room and the connecting room was the best part!!

Room was very stuffy windows were locked and couldn’t be opened for fresh air. Ceiling was damaged and required repair. Room itself was very musty didn’t appear clean. Very disappointed won’t be staying there again and would not recommend . Parking was an extra which was expensive the hotel should offer discounted parking for guests.

We actually didnt get to stay at this property. I received a call before our arrival that they were having maintenance issues. However, they moved my reservation to another hotel, same type of room with the same view I reserved. For this reason I gave them 5 stars. I feel that was amazing customer service.

Floor but then you walked in the steps took you down so we were actually on the 13th floor we though that was weird.

The Falls view from our room on the 12th floor exceeded expectations. The room itself was below expectations. Waking up to the view and seeing the Falls lit up at night was excellent. We chose this hotel specifically for the view and the ability to combine an on site gym and pool as part of a complete hotel experience. Unfortunately, the fitness room was not usable for the entire stay. The main equipment had an out of order sign from day one through the duration of our stay. An off site gym was offered and was actually very good, but it is not the same experience. Having to go to the front desk each time, coordinate access, and leave the property disrupted the flow of the stay and removed the ability to easily combine a workout with a swim.
Other issues added up:
• Housekeeping only available on request
• Very basic bathroom and overall room condition
• Low water pressure
• Construction during the stay not forewarned
• Lobby not inviting with limited comfortable seating
• Coffee available 24/7 but very low quality, closer to instant than fresh
There was also a mandatory $50.67 resort fee charged at the property. Having already paid for the stay in full in advance, this felt like an unexpected additional charge at checkout rather than part of the upfront price.
Overall, great view but the rest did not match expectations or as advertised.

The hotel is nice enough, but our bed was well worn in making it squishy soft and lumpy at the same time. This made for a poor sleep. There is a viewing deck on the 14th floor where were stayed which meant more foot traffic. As a result we had many kids banging on our door and running day and night. There are no cameras anywhere but the front desk. This seems an oversight as they should, at a minimum, also be on the 14th floor. Ice machine are only on floors 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10. They weren’t working on all which made for an adventure. The hot tub was extra hot the first day and Luke warm the next.

The Hotel needs updating, no in room safe or microwave if you have kids. Found ants in a few drawers and bathtub. Housekeeping is not avaliable until after your stay. Loved how close the hotel is to the falls, restaurants and other attractions. Hate that parking fee is expensive $50 plus tax per day is alot. I am still waiting on my deposit. Overall not a bad stay.

Health club / exercise room is in terrible shape. Most equipment is broken.
No in room coffee. Coffee is in main lobby. So if you want a morning coffee you have to go to lobby and join the construction workers that are there getting coffee?

Housekeeping service is poor. We had to wait for few hours just to be given towels. However staff are still friendly. Room has a great view but noticed some dust on tables. And bathroom soaps aren’t filled properly. We were given a bottle of empty hair conditioner.

There was no hot water at 5:00am. I had to catch a bus at 6:30am. So wanted to take a shower. I had to manage with cold water. That's awful. And why would you charge 55$ per day for outdoor parking that is so far away from the hotel. The parking lot right next to the hotel charges just 20 per day. That is ridiculous and unethical.

This property is trash. The people who work there are looking to bend you over and take all your money no lubrication! You book a room, you get there then, they ask you if you need to park, that's when they inform you it's fifty dollars for a parking spot. Did I mention they don't have enough parking spots.. so after you pay fifty for parking, you have to find a spot that doesn't exist.. I wanna suggest anybody uses this hotel. They left me feeling like I wanna tell everybody how big a trash they are.... And not to stay here!

The hotel charged me $50 for parking per night and the hotel was breaking down. The toilet barely flushed and the sink kept getting backed up. The beds are a whole other story. They were awful and super uncomfortable. The fan in the bathroom was broken too. Really unhappy with the stay especially for the price of it

Parking Fee of $50 was ridiculous considering parking in the area was $10/day. The cleaning staff were bothering people an hour or two before check out. Staff left cleaning and stock rooms open so you could see all the piles of towels and garbage as you walked down the hall. Don't be fooled by courtyard view it's just a parking lot. This section of the hotel looks like an old motel that was connected to the high rise hotel so they could have extra rooms.

When I arrived I was told my reservation was transferred to the Hilton which worked to my advantage because I was going to a concert at the OLG stage that is connected to the Hilton So I didn’t have to go out into the cold. The Hilton was wonderful clean and convenient.

No breakfast was offered at the hotel. It would’ve thought at least a continental breakfast would be offered for the price of the room. Excellent view from our window overlooking the falls. Doesn’t get much better than that. I guess the cleaning crew was under added as the room was only cleaned upon request. If this room didn’t have a view the rating would’ve been much worse.

I’m a bit annoyed though because they advertise there is a bar and a lounge area and there is not. My friends and I booked this hotel specifically for the “lounge” so we can hang out after we got back from dinner but there was nowhere to do that. The observation area has 2 small couches which is great, however, they make it seem a lot bigger.

When we arrived we were informed the pool was closed. House keeping only available on request. Only saw one housekeepers cart one day, but there were bags of laundry piled up everywhere. Ice only available on floors 4 6 8 etc. Machines on 4 and 6 not working. Second night tv would not work. Wont go back.
