Great clean hotel, beautiful rooms, a little further than I thought from the falls, but not too bad, you can also walk and there is free parking for the car.🌺🌸
Michael
Property was a good value. Older with many updates and plenty of parking. Staff was very nice. Saw several vehicles charging also.
Steven
The property was recently redone and in good shape.
Lauren
The rooms were clean, mattresses quite firm. Inconsistent temperatures across rooms. Staff was lovely.

For the price, this place is great! We have stayed here a few times and never had any issues.
David
Breakfast included was very nice and the facility was clean and had a convenient location.

Cindy
The Diplomat was clean and appears to have been remodeled. Nice beds and tiled floors. Staff was friendly and helpful. Refrig and microwave in the room. Good location. Nice accommodations for the price.
Dan
Excellent location and a good budget option for being so near the falls
GAVIN
Our Oldtimers hockey team went to NF for a tournament. The team manager booked some expensive hotel near the falls. Me and a few others chose to save over $200 to stay at the Diplomat Inn.
It’s clean. Spacious. Free parking. Friendly staff. Recently updated.
Great value. Especially if you are just planning to just sleep in the hotel.

Recently renovated property. Room is very clean and staff is very friendly. Definitely would stay here again.
Dave
For a hotel that was supposed to be fully renovated, there was still old carpet on the stairs and a lot of painting needed to be done in our room. The door didn't close properly, and I hate it when I go to a hotel and it does that. The soundproofing is very poor, partly because of the door, but also in general. That being said, it's a budget hotel, and you can't expect miracles at this price. For the price, it was still acceptable.

One of the best inns to stay at in Niagara Falls. The room are minimalist and very clean and bright. The free parking is a bonus. The location is central and a very safe zone. The staff are very friendly and attentive to one's needs.
This is one of the best smaller hotel/motel to stay at and definitely recommended.

Perfect for post concert stay. Just park the car and walk! Super clean and comfortable. Love the room door tech and the lit mirrors. A/C was good!
The only thing I would recommend to the hotel is extra locks for room doors (like a dead bolt or chain) and key access for exterior doors. I wish the world was as safe as "back in the day" but...
Thanks for taking good care of us!

It was more affordable than most and in a great location for us. Easy check in and out, free parking. It was a great experience all around. Will stay there again!
Karen
Newly renovated and very clean.TV was a challenge for a senior but wasn't there to watch TV. Comfortable bed and good air conditioning.
Would definitely stay there again.
Would definitely stay there again.
Renee
This place seemed great by reviews that I read. However it is definitely not. Save your money and pick somewhere else. The coffee station they say they have never had fresh coffee looked like it was sitting there for hours. Our bathroom door looked like it was from a flood that happened as it was tore up on the bottom of it and also smelled not good in there either. This place should be rated a 1 star 2 star it definitely is not. Should not even rated in my opinion. One of worst experiences ever for a hotel and it was also my birthday celebration with good friends and what a disappointment. Front desk was horrible also and no one spoke English
Marie
room was freezing! but that was a easy fix. Room was clean and walking was close to fallview OLG. would stay there again.
Guido
The room was clean but poor amenities.

Stayed here for 2 nights while seeing a couple shows. The room was very comfortable and clean. Location is great for visiting the falls. There was a fridge in the room, microwave in lobby and iron available on request. Overall a nice stay. I will stay here again.
Catherine
Staff were friendly and room was clean. Building and washroom was a bit outdated, however, overall it was pleasant stay!

There were a few issues with noise
Edward
The room was very clean and functional. Beds were good although mattress was a bit soft. Mirrors were great with their lighting and heating. Having a fridge was very helpful. Parking was perfect, and only a short walk to Fallsview casino. Overall, this accommodation was an excellent value for a clean room and good location.
Alice
This spot is a gem. Away from Clifton Hill, we're not into all the non falls related nonsense, it's only a mile walk to falls. No need to pay for parking! Staff was so nice, and the room was spotless. We would definitely stay again!
Emma
The mirrors were fitted with a built-in clock which helped at night. The amenities were small and useful for the short stay!
Marlene
Hotel was clean, but lots of noise is heard through the walls and creaking on the floor at night. The gap from the bottom of the door was too big and noise can be heard in the hallway. More light is needed on the main level when curtains are shut.
Hyejin
It was a wonderful staying at Diplomat Inn.
Eduardo
The property is not for rent
Mukhpal
Good budget friendly option to stay.
Crystal
Certainly no frills, at least in our room, but compared to the costs of hotels I was seeing on the US side of Niagara it was definitely decent enough for a night. If you are picky you might want a step up, if you just want clean and a decent enough bed, you'll do just fine here. I think our room was their very basic one.
Anthony
Perfect walking distance for everything

We had one of the newly remodeled rooms, and it was amazing. So clean, beautifully done, such a great location, good air conditioning, the staff was super helpful, the vending machines were convenient, and the price was phenomenal. We loved it all.

The staff was kind and the room was clean. Expedia said there was a pool, so we expected a pool but.... they said the pool was turned into a parking lot 3 years ago. it would be nice if Expedia removed the amenity of a pool from the website.

As always a great stay rooms are fresh and new and always clean. Check in is easy and staff are helpful. Love this place as it’s a short walk to all Clifton hill and either casino. Bonus is that parking is free and there are many choices for food in the area 😊

We needed a place for three nights while attending Comic Con and the Diplomat had a great rate and even included free parking, which is a huge benefit in this area! We were less than a 20 minute walk from the convention centre, which also saved us the cost of parking there.
The building has some minor areas that could use an update, like the stairwells, but the hallways and rooms (at least ours) were incredibly done! Smart mirrors in the bathroom and foyer, and our own little front door display/doorbell, made it feel like a little luxury apartment.
The staff was very sweet. When we arrived, our original room was still being cleaned so we were led to a different room. The staff was very apologetic for the switch, but we had no issues at all with the change.
Coffee is made available in the lobby every day beginning at 7am which was convenient.
If you’re looking for a clean, friendly place to stay but don’t want to pay an arm and a leg, I recommend the Diplomat!

Room was really nice. Coffee included. Staff was friendly. Allowed me to keep my car in the lot for a few hours after checking out. Highly recommend.

It’s fine if you want a place to sleep for the night. We were locked out of our room after 24 hours despite them knowing we were there for 3 days. Very thin walls, was woken a few times to people coming home during the night. Also unfortunately had to listen to some activities some people were doing in their rooms down the hall while we were in our own room, so if you have children with you, be aware that you may have some explaining to do to your children when they want to know what certain noises are.
Not sure how the cleaning works. First day our room wasn’t done. We were back by 2:30, no cleaning done and nobody in sight yet you are able to check in at 3pm.
Location was good for area attractions and easy to walk or jump on the tourist bus. Only amenities available really was coffee 24/7 and not sure how fresh it would be as the day goes on.
I’m honestly not sure where this place had such good review numbers. I personally won’t be back based on my experience. I know I’m always looking for a bargain in a place to stay but I would be happy to try my money elsewhere on another chance bargain and get a better experience.

Comfortable and clean. Best hotel I have stayed in. I have never rested well in a hotel besides this one

Free parking and clean renovated rooms, but make sure you book renovated rooms. We were lucky enough to get upgraded for free to the renovated room. Not an upscale motel but decent for a quick stay for a family. Safe and central location.

Prix abordable.
