I sent a message to the property before my stay but never received an answer. However, the staff are very friendly especially Happy at the front desk he’s very helpful and pleasant. The room is clean and well equipped with fridge and microwave. The location is excellent very close to Cliffton Hill so we could order pick up from one of the restaurants. The indoor pool is very big and warm although we didn’t use it. Breakfast items are mainly baked goods, cereal, yogurt and hard boiled eggs no hot items but ok since it’s included. Overall we will stay again in the future if the price is right.

Although not in the greatest area, it was convenient to walk to Clifton Hill. The beds were comfortable and clean. It did seem like the bathroom had not had a deep clean or even an extra well done clean for quite a while. I even asked for somebody to come and clean the bathroom because around the toilet was pretty gross and they came to clean the bathroom, but not that area again. If you’re looking for a place that’s reasonably priced and don’t care too much about the cleanliness but has comfortable beds this place would suit you. The kids went in the pool, however the whole pool area is very hot and so is the water. There’s not much air circulation in there so I did not enjoy it. We did not stay at the hotel very often because we’re out doing things so if you’re looking for just a place to crash with what I mentioned above and decent breakfast included. This is the place - just lower your standard standards for cleanliness.

Excellent location and a great price. Except for a few areas that could use a little paint, the hotel was great. We could even see the fireworks from our balcony on the 3rd floor. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff at the check in desk were very friendly and helpful. The property was clean on the outside and our room was clean. The hallways are not air conditioned and had a musty smell. The room cleared of that smell once the AC in the room got going. Both pools were nice. Kids enjoyed that. Breakfast was good. We took food back to our room as the dining area is very small. I was really only disappointed by housekeeping. They did not check our room to empty the trash or anything that you would normally have done at other hotels. I took the trash out myself to an outside container. Parking lot was a safe place to leave the vehicle. They have several cameras.

Staff was friendly and accomodating. Room was spacious but cleanliness was acceptable.
Mattresses were on the harder side as i had read in a previous review. We used the indoor pool for a while and the water was warm (in peak summer) but understandably so.
We had an issue during breakfast though. Options were limited and seating was even more scarce. People lined up outside on the stairs to get service and we had to take our food back to the room to eat because of lack of space.

Were here from the second to the fifth of June. When we moved in, the bathroom was not cleaned at all and it smelled like a public toilet in busy city. The curtains in the room were torn. The sheets on beds were also torn, the blankets were dirty. The mirrors were not wiped and the frames in the mirrors were broken. The breakfast room was generally terrible. It was in the basement in a tiny, cramped room where the boiler room usually sits. The pool on the street is more or less well, but the one inside has no air conditioning with boiling water in the whole pool and the room is full of steam all the time. It stinks of chlorine.

Upon arrival after already paying 530 dollars for 2 nights we also had to pay additional parking (we have stayed here before there was no parking charge the last time but I'm assuming they were price gouching for Canada day)
Our toilet was broken so constant flushing 24/7, our room was right near the exit door and you can hear everyone and everything. Hot tub we had was literally gross with residue behind.

My sister, friend, and I stayed here for one night and overall had a good experience.

When we first arrived, we were assigned a room on the third floor, but the elevator button for that floor wasn’t working. After carrying our bags upstairs, we called the front desk and the staff member who assisted us, Happy, immediately offered to move us to either the second or ground floor. We chose the ground floor and had no further issues.

This is definitely an older hotel with dated rooms and bathrooms, but the customer service was excellent. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, polite, and helpful.

A few things stood out during our stay: the heated indoor pool was great, especially for an older property; the complimentary breakfast, while simple, included hot waffles; and the location is fantastic—about a 3-minute walk to Clifton Hill.

The staff also allowed us a late checkout until noon and let us keep our vehicle parked at the hotel free of charge for the rest of the day. They even provided my friend with a key to access the washroom later and kindly charged one of our phones while we were out.

While not a modern or luxurious hotel, the location, amenities, and exceptional staff made for a pleasant stay. I’d stay again. 😊

The room was clean. The floors were quite nice for a hotel, and our bathroom mirror was really cool. The staff member who checked us in was fantastic.
It ends there. Apart from the floor and the mirror, the rest of the room was in a terrible state (it was clean, just extremely old, worn, and damaged. The picture on the wall, the lampshade, and various other pieces of furniture were crooked, scratched, and worn. The bed frame was terrifying and the mattress was the most uncomfortable one I’ve ever slept on in my life. Out in the rest of the property, the stairs we used (at the back on the right, inside) were all different heights, the breakfast was in a tiny little cave in the basement and was so pathetic looking that we left as soon as we went in. The extra charge for parking is obnoxious (though not exclusive to this property), I don’t know why hotels don’t just build that kind of thing into the room price instead of tricking people into paying once they’re there and have no other choice.
Overall, I doubt we’d stay here again, but apart from the bed and the breakfast it wasn’t the worst thing ever.

We really enjoyed our stay at Super 8 by Wyndham. I wanted to be a short walk from Clifton Hill and the Falls but also wanted a pool and breakfast included and it was available for just $200 plus parking and tax. Breakfast had a good selection including waffles, boiled eggs, toast, yogurt and fruit. The pool water was clean and warm. The room was large and the bed was really comfy. The stay would have been perfect if there was a mirror on the wall over the desk with an outlet or extension cord. This would have been another place to do hair and makeup while my spouse showered.

if you are allergic to mold and cigarette smell avoid this place because the rooms are completely smoky, they do not monitor it at all. mold everywhere, both in the bedroom and in the bathroom, and your blanket will be damaged by cigarettes. Also at a price of $ 70 per night you will not have any hygiene products in the bathroom, not even regular soap. Sorry but even in a two star hotel and a price of $ 40 they give shower gel and soap. Seriously this is terrible, avoid this month.

The building is fine, the outside grounds are clean, and the customer service was good. The elevator is dirty and unhygienic, and the room is not clean. I had to call the front desk and tell them. Someone came and swept and mopped the room. They did not dust the tables and the TV. I also got bed bitten before I left, the entire hallway and room smelled of cigarette smoke, even though there are signs labelled \"No Smoking. I had to hurry out of there and find it difficult to recommend this place to anyone. I stayed at similar hotels of this name in Timmins and Moosonee, and the places were immaculate.

We asked for a refund within 10 minutes of checking in. The building is falling apart. There are chunks of concrete crumbling off on the sidewalks and stairs. The stairs are all rusted. The stairwell reeks like cigarettes. Then we got to the rooms. One room had a hole punched in the bathroom door, there was a stain on the bedding, the room smelled terribly of a musty cleaner. One window was screwed shut and could only be opened to the side without a screen. All the furniture in the room was visibly worn out. If they let that many things falll into disrepair, we were worried what type of critters may appear later. Go anywhere else.

My boyfriend & I stayed in the Deluxe Room with 1 Queen Bed for our visit.

The room felt quite small and cramped overall. The only \"spacious\" area was near the entrance, while the rest of the layout felt narrow. The bed did not feel like a true queen-size bed and was very squeaky, making it difficult to sleep, as even small movements would wake us up. The TV also had a screen voice reader that narrated menu options, volume changes, and channels. For us, in particular, we did not need it and did not know how to turn it off, which made using the TV frustrating.

The bathroom felt very claustrophobic, with minimal lighting and little room to move around. The shower was especially narrow and uncomfortable to use. Based on the photos online, we expected a more spacious and brighter bathroom. We had a few concerns in this area. We found a dirty toothpaste bottle cap inside the sink faucet, reported it to the front desk, and also noticed hair on one of the towels by the jacuzzi. Additionally, the toilet did not flush properly.

The fireplace was a nice feature and helped keep the room warm and cozy. We enjoyed the jacuzzi. However, the view was not ideal, as it overlooked a residential backyard and part of the parking lot.

Breakfast was decent but nothing memorable, and the staff did not appear particularly welcoming or engaged.

Overall, while there were a few positive elements, the issues with space, cleanliness, and overall comfort impacted our stay
