Hotel didn't have a room for us and said they were housing evacuees and had moved us to another hotel. We arrived at the "other" hotel and they didn't have a room for us and said we had been moved to a third hotel. Went to that now third hotel, and they looked at me like I was crazy and had no idea what I was talking about.

Good Afternoon,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to you from Wyndham Garden to provide an important update regarding your upcoming stay with us. At the moment, we are currently providing temporary housing for evacuees due to the lack of access to safe drinking water on their reserve following a sewage-related contamination of the water supply. The Canadian government has requested our assistance for housing these individuals, and as a result of this we currently have to relocate all of our guests that were planning to stay with us.

At this time, we have made a new arrangement and upgraded your stay at the Wyndham Grand Hotel. Please know that the Wyndham Grand Hotel will honor your original reservation room rate, however they do not offer the same room type as you originally booked so they will be providing you with 2 rooms being 1 King bed and 2 Queen Beds at no additional cost to your stay. However, since they are a higher star property they have a security deposit of $50 on a credit card each night which will be released back upon your departure. If paying with Debit or Cash, the deposit must be collected in person when you check out and will be $300CAD. Additionally, please bring a valid government-issued ID (Passport, Driver's License, or Ontario Photo ID) for check-in.
Please note that Wyndham Grand do not have any microwaves in the rooms as part of their safety policies. They do have mini fridges and coffee makers in the rooms. Also, if you Ple

The room was so clean and the staff was so helpful! We got a free upgrade to the jacuzzi room and were so thankful for it! Hotel is located right where you want to be and it even has a tunnel to the casino. I wish parking was a little more obvious because the directions to the hotel did take us to the front (where parking isn’t easily seen), but honestly i could’ve called beforehand so that’s on me for not doing so. all in all great hotel i would definitely stay here again!!!!

I was given a basic room at a different hotel

Still haven’t heard from Expedia either.

We were “upgraded” to the Wyndham Grand hotel from the Wyndham Garden Inn. This was not an upgrade at all. The room was incredibly small, smelled awful and nothing like the picture. We accepted the upgrade because we were aware that our initial hotel was housing people due to poor conditions on the reserve. We were celebrating our 25th Wedding anniversary which was noted on the booking. When I asked to be moved to a room a little higher up floor wise, I was told the hotel was sold out. It wasn’t. The front desk clerk was not truthful. We booked a city view at our initial hotel and expected to get the same at the Wyndham Grand; however the window faced the parking garage.

The room was mediocre at best, I cancelled my first hotel that had a view of the falls because this one offered a room with a fireplace, sadly upon checking in there was no fireplace.

Needed to use the printer, the machine is too old and required a USB.

Restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch. The young lady at the reception desk would do better in a role that did not interact with people,

My next stay in Niagara will be somewhere else

When reported to staff no answer or questions were asked until we showed picture of window, We were asked if we reported it. Water first day thought it may have been from everyone checking in and having showers, busy due to New Years, thought this was the reason, second night water temp still poor after 9 pm Paid extra for room with Jetted Tub that was unusable.

The best part was the view of the fireworks was nice. The room had a lot of room for the 6 of us and the beds were comfortable. Other than that the room looked like it was given minimal effort to clean. Floors were dirty and the room smelled like old carpet when you walked in. It’s $25 plus tax per day to park plus some $25 DMC fee. So for 2 night it was $96 on top of what I paid for the room. Pool was fine. It was a short walk to Clifton Hill.

Everything was fine after we checked in and went out after leaving our luggage. We came back late at night and then were chit chatting in room when we saw some bugs on bed sheet. We further pulled the sheet out and found another couple of bugs. It was around 2am in morning and there was an old lady sitting st front desk.
Considering she doesn’t have any fault for that I didn’t bother her because I didn’t want to create any trouble that late at night. But we spent the night there in fear and no peace of mind. We didn’t even use comforters.
In morning when I brought it to the attention of supervisor and executive at front desk, all they had to say is that ‘oh sorry these aren’t standards,it’s usuallly better’.
When I asked them to provide me any contact for corporate level so that I can escalate this to next level, they refused to provide me any information.
I mean this horrible after they charged some hidden charges during the time of check in ( about which I didn’t bother).
This is so unacceptable.
I can even share pictures of bugs taken in my phone with time.

We stayed for Christmas Eve till Christmas Day and we loved it!! From the room to the service everything was excellent! Hubby kids and i were impressed with the spacious suite- like room we had. My kids were thrilled to have their own tv to watch! It was so quiet at night and in the morning and we slept so beautifully! The falls is only less than 15 minute walk and downtown a little less! The price was excellent and if we can get a similar rate next time for sure we would come back again! Thank you hotel management and staff! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

The room was okay except the heater didn't seem to be working very well, the beds were hard, the hot tub was not hot at all and the pool was freezing. The only plus this time was the staff were nice and very quick to respond to my requests and the proximity to OLG Stage is nice. Wish it was a better stay this time.

We were tired and this was frustrating. Did not realize we had to pay for parking as well and front desk did not offer us anything for this in convienence and we had to ask. There was no hot tub in the room. My parents stayed at this room, it's clean and comfortable, facing the parking lot.

It's confusing when we booked this room and another, as there was another building, Tower B where my husband and I stayed. The front desk area could be bigger because there was a huge influx of tourists when we got there and the line reached the entrance, no one can get in.

The rooms could use an update. The best thing about it is the location, there's also no free breakfast.
