Pretty location. The initial room I booked was a double bed with a tower view. I paid for an upgraded room with a view and needed up getting a twin bed with no view- I could only see the side of the building and a little bit of water. Check in was not good. We were told to go to one of the other colleagues. The woman didn’t acknowledge us & continued to work on her computer. She left the desk & returned asking us what we required. She then stated she wasn’t doing check ins & we should go to another colleague. All other members of staff were great accommodating & welcoming. The details of the room stated aircon. There was no aircon available, we were given a cooling machine. We paid extra for a room with a view of Tower Bridge, our view was obstructed by the hotel building. The room was tired. Overall our stay was good, but we regretted paying extra for a higher price executive room with Tower View, so we were disappointed

This hotel is in a great location right by Tower Bridge and nearby to Tower Hill tube station for getting around London. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby and the hotel bar and restaurant is also really good. We had a nice room overlooking Canary Wharf and the river. Room was clean and bed really comfy. Friendly staff also. Would definitely stay here again when visiting London.

I booked 10 rooms in total. My room I had for 2 days on 2 separate bookings but they confirmed I could stay in the same room. On returning to my room work in London, I found all my personal belongings had been removed and my room cleaned (after selecting do not disturb) I had an important dinner I wasn’t able to attend as I didn’t have my suit to wear, this out the whole trip, cause some distress.
Also one of me team also reported that her toilet hadn’t been cleaned and was very dirty from whoever had last used it (poo all over)
I stop in London with my team once a month, this was a trial as the location is perfect for the shard, were we work when in London.

The location is our number one reason to choose this hotel, right next to tower bridge, tower castle, river bank, and 5-7 minute walk to the subway station. Uber service is very fast, normally within 5-8 minutes. Thanks to the location, you can take a river cruise right nearby, and you also can walk along the bank to get to other famous landmarks or even to the center of the city.

We had booked two rooms, it took ages for us to check in and we were unable to have the rooms on the same floor. There was work being done in the room next to us so every morning we woke up to drilling. The bed was brick hard and the quilt was too small for the cover so you ended up with just a sheet.

The staff were basic polite, the room was tatty and needed updating. The heating was broken but noisy and the room was severely overlooked by the offices next door. On leaving our room we waited almost 10minutes for one of the 4 lifts to be going the right direction and have room for us. We took the stairs in the end. Poor all round for the price we paid. In the middle of the night( 2am)our heating thermostat went haywire and the room started to cook at around 84F . We woke up coughing and sweating. When I called down to the front desk they sent a technician up. He was supposed to fix it on a panel outside the room but said he needed to come in. He was wearing a mining helmet with a led headlight. He came into the dark sauna of our room like a caving expedition. The thermostat was hanging off the wall and he said “ think it’s broken.”
We had the rest of the night with all the windows open and the fan on ( Nov/Dec) and we were still hot. Didn’t sleep all night. Noise from outside was disturbing as well.
We asked for a refund and they took £30 off our 3night booking. Utter crap.

Great hotel with a great view. Restaurant downstairs was pretty average, fairly high prices for basic food, but nonetheless, everything was great. I had a really great time at this hotel with a nice view of the London bridge. Just FYI, the hotel is under the London Bridge. There’s a staircase you have to take to get there if you are walking from the train station. It was pretty hard for me to find it, but after a couple tries, we managed.
