The layout of the hotel was wacky. From our room on the first floor we had to walk outside to get to anything such as the breakfast room or indoor pool or ice machine. Where is the ice machine? I saw it somewhere. Halls do not connect from one area to the other. Breakfast was crowded; the food selection was not stellar. No fresh fruit, oatmeal, whole grains…. You could not take your coffee out of the dining room. Signs on the table that you had to leave in 20 minutes. We didn’t even bother to eat there the third morning.
However, our room was lovely, outdoor pool was nice but no towels provided. The hotel was a convenient location to the falls.

It is a great location but is on the older side. The price was not worth it. Next time we will spend slightly more for the more luxurious hotels. It was not half the price, it was only slightly cheaper when we booked. At least it was clean.

The front desk was not welcoming. Didn’t smile or say more than a few words. Our WiFi didn’t work on the 6th floor and they made me call technical support. Technical support said they’d call the front desk and then I never heard back and the WiFi was never fixed.
Bathroom was old and grungy. Rust stains and very outdated.
For breakfast you’re not allowed to take food to go. You have to wait in a very long line and sit in a small stuffy room to eat. Food was basic continental options.
We left early and again no more than two words were said to us as we left.

Look for the price so close to Niagara Falls. It was OK as my stars readings show. My room smelled like cigarettes. The maintenance on the tiles and walls and paint and elevator are relatively poor. Some staff were good others obviously new or untrained. My biggest complaint was they charged $14 and change resort fee from the booking on my deposit. With the above mentioned problems, it was definitely not a resort although the proximity to the fall made it possible to look past the situation, but the resort fee was the dealbreaker.

Towel rules are ridiculous. Threatening $10 each missing towel, yet they didn't stock all my towels. So, I had to waste my time reporting they didn't do their job so I don't get charged for stealing their wonderful towels. Ya, we all want to steal their old white towels.

Spend your money elsewhere. Don't bother with this frustration.

Nice room with separate bedroom! However they mixed up our reservations. My daughter was supposed to have larger room and reservations were under different names.
Our room did not connect to main building which was a bit annoying. Also no elevator and we had to bring our suitcases up a flight of stairs. We are not young!
Outdoor pool very nice!
Location great..near many restaurants and close to Falls!
Breakfast was plentiful however very crowded and badly organized. Need to set up stations better or have bigger area.
All in all a decent stay.

Elevator situation is terrible. There is ONE small elevator in the entire building! Waited a looong time. Also not very friendly at check in and a little difficult to navigate for anyone using a wheelchair. Finally, I am always leery of hotels that don’t offer a receipt upon checkout because I’ve been charged for things I never used (parking) (at another hotel) and didn’t know until I got home an got an email receipt. I had to ask for a receipt upon checkout and front desk seemed a bit out out that I did. It did the job (a place to sleep) but I don’t think I’ll stay here again.

Overall, a great stay! The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were super clean, and the breakfast was simple yet satisfying, with enough variety to start the day. The staff was friendly, and everything felt well maintained. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that the pool looked a bit uninviting, so we decided not to use it. Other than that, we had a very pleasant experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed for three days at this hotel. What I didn’t appreciate was being charged $30 per day to use their open parking lot. If it had been covered parking, I would have understood, but $30 per day for an uncovered lot is too much.

The therapy pool was dirty—the water looked brown. What bothered me the most, however, was how rude the staff was. They never responded when we greeted them in the mornings, so after the second day, we stopped saying hello. They never acknowledged us when we entered or left the hotel, and we had to wait more than 30 minutes for clean towels.
The biggest disappointment was the front desk staff. Their lack of courtesy and professionalism is the main reason I would not recommend this hotel to my friends or family.

This hotel was what I was looking for. I wanted a hotel near the incline rail, clean and comfortable beds, good shower, and a free breakfast. I was only planning on being in the hotel to sleep, shower, and have breakfast. This was perfect for that. The staff was very helpful when I had trouble getting on the wifi (it was my phone not the hotels fault and the front desk person was able to help). I didn't care about hotel amenities because I simply wasn't there enough. It was exactly what I was looking for. Yes you have to pay to park, but most other hotels are the same in this area. Loved it. Would stay again.

You get what you pay for. The hotel was clean and provided the basic amenities we needed, comfy bed, clean bathroom, decent pool for the kids, nothing that made you feel like you were on vacation though.
We were mostly upset by the hidden fees, the $30/day for parking wasn't listed up front when we booked. The city view room was a view of the wall next door so having a balcony was pretty pointless. The time limit to sit and enjoy your breakfast really takes away from the vacation time as well.
Location of property to the major Niagara Falls attractions was great. It's a short walk to the casino and Horseshoe Falls and a bit of a longer walk over to Clifton Hill, but being farther away from Clifton Hill keeps the area less noisy and busy.

We had a room on the fist floor. The first impression was there was a leak coming from the ceiling because of all the towels layed on the floor. There is also a strong odor like chlorine which is assuned to be coming from the pool which is also located on the first floor. The room was pretty good and clean with a comfortable bed. Definitely not a queen bed, but more like a double. Outside of the chlorine smell, the pool was warm and a good size for swimming. The hot tub was also decent size but the jets barely worked when activated. The hot buffet breakfast which is included with your room is definitely the best part of the stay. They have decent meal options, are well organized even when hectic and busy, and was always hot and fresh. We were there for a business conference and weren't planning on being in the room often, so for the basic amenities, lower price point, and proximity to the Fallsview casino, restaurants, and the falls, it was worth the stay overall.

Room was fine but the \"balcony \" was not. I knew they were very small but ours faced a cement wall and the roof of the mechanical equipment. Wondered if we were given this room because we booked thru Expedia rather than directly with the hotel site. The tv had very few channels butit was satellite tv and would cut out. The beds were comfortable. The pool was ok but the jets in the hotbtub were minimal at best. Breakfast was very busy and there was a line up to be seated. Food was ok; usual stuff.

This hotel is very close to the attractions, within easy walking distance to the casino & convention center, is surrounded by restaurants, and a
decent breakfast is included. Rooms are dated, simple, but have all the basics.

This is not a business hotel, as rooms are ill-equipped as actual workspaces, with no desk. It is affordable, the staff are friendly, and have all amenities that a family with younger children will appreciate.

This was my second time staying at the Comfort Inn Fallsview. It was better this time because we were on the 6th floor. It was a better view and less noise from the street. The beds and pillows were comfy. The cleaning help were there everyday and did a great job. I like that it's centrally located in Niagara Falls. The elevator runs slow and breakfast in mediocre at best. I don't like paying for parking nightly especially when there is not enough spots. Still though, I probably will stay there again.

The hotel was not ideal. The issues started right at check in. I opted at booking to pay at the hotel, when I called to verify everything was all set for me to pay at the hotel I was told that was not an option and the funds would be taken the day before arrival. I got to the hotel and was told I needed to pay.

Then there was the sheets, blankets, and towels with stains on them. Bathroom was deteriorating, and no local info on things to do or places to eat. Staff was not very pleasant, soft talkers and could not hear them, all in all would not stay here again.

The section of the building we were in was two stories with no elevator. The breakfast was very good but to access it you had to exit the building go through the parking lot into the main entrance and downstairs. Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Location is very good . Close to incline rail lift access to the falls.

The single worst hotel stay I have ever had. Spiders all over the room, rowdy neighbors, smoke smell everywhere, and they tried scamming me out of an extra 150 dollars, which they claimed was “fees”. It was not. Staff are unhelpful and it is a generally uncleanly and uncomfortable experience. I visited this location about 2 years ago and had a much better experience - this was definitely not the case this time. I will never subject myself to this location again and I hope nobody else does as well.

The bed was made but it was not comfortable to walk around barefoot in the room and the bathroom had no ventilation. The complimentary breakfast was good just hard to get into as the serving room is very narrow compared to the seating. The staff were subpar and no helpful outside of giving you a key and telling you what amenities they had. We did not end up using the pool.

The room was decent and the location was incredible, but beware payment. I selected to pay when I arrived via Expedia. Despite choosing to pay at the property, they put a hold ($260 US) on my card 3 days before check in. When I arrived and paid in full with a different card, they did not remove the hold. It’s been 3 days since check in and my money has not been returned. I asked the front desk and was told it can take up to 8 business days for the money to be released.

So it’s a nice enough place to stay, but do not count on being able to wait to pay till you get there.

i received a green sheet for all you can eat breakfast. I went there thinking that it was a coupon. I didn't realize that it was just an advertisement. The food wasn't great. It’ll be cheaper to book the “more expensive” hotels in the area- there are so many hidden fees with this place when you arrive.
I booked online through Expedia and had already paid for the room on there. I do understand there is a small per night parking fee, and was expecting to pay the correct amount for my two nights. Instead, I was charged over DOUBLE my ROOM for all of these hidden fees. Resort fee, tourist fees, and a ton of other unnecessary fees. I have stayed with this hotel for three consecutive years, and the previous two years have not been like this whatsoever- at least not to this level. The month of May is still technically off season for the Falls, so for this to be more expensive is beyond unreasonable.
Upon checking out around 10:25am (checkout is from 11-11:30) I was hit with another fee. More fees was again charged to my card for what appears to be an unknown reason. I talked with a very friendly staff member at the front desk, however I was unable to get a clear answer as to why I have been charged so much. I did get an itemized receipt but when looking at all of these different “fees” on paper, the more it feels like I got lied to and robbed.
I guarantee it would have been cheaper to stay at a nicer hotel for the exact same price than to be lied to at Comfort Inn.

The property adds fees to the bill. There is a written notice at the check in counter stating there is additional resort and other fees. I ignored this notice as I thought it was included in the amount I paid to Expedia and the fees only pertained to customers paying at the counter.

I was wrong. They don't tell you, Expedia doesn't tell you. In the past, if I booked a hotel through Expedia, a full amount was listed (inclusive of these extra fees). When paying, Expedia charges my CC the amount less these fees and gives me a notice stating these fees are due and collectible upon arrival and in the Country currency.

There was no such disclaimer, I thought the price listed on Expedia was the full-in cost but it wasn't and when they keep \"a deposit\" on your card, they choose to stay silent on these extra charges.

BE AWARE of extra fees. Not fair... very predatory and Expedia should not allow this practice to continue.

The bathroom facilities are a bit dated, but they are very well maintained and in excellent condition. Considering the hotel’s excellent location and reasonable parking fee, it definitely deserves a five-star rating.
