The manager tried to scam me an steal money by charging me for my service dog which on their site says explicitly no charge for service animals. Then he told me if I would give him cash he would take money off of the charge. This is after the room had already been paid for. Very untrustworthy staff would not recommend staying here ever.

Even though the rooms were remodeled a while back, the place needs some loving care. The beds are horrible - barely slept through the night.

Check-in was ackward. Had to \"call\" person to the front. Just didn't feel welcoming.

We booked a hotel in Cleveland and when we arrived they said our reservation had been canceled. Without any reason or notice. And it was 11:30 at night. Luckily we found The Falls motel about 45 miles away. The drive was easy and the motel was right off the turnpike. When we arrived the hotel manager was a pleasant man even though it was 12:30 am. We parked right in front of our room. The room was simple and very clean!!! Cold a/c, hot shower, clean towels and the bed was comfortable. We ended up staying another night. This little motel saved our tired a$$es and we would definitely stay here again!!!

Really quite a decent place for the money. Very close to the highway. I like the fact that you can pull right up to your door. The only problem is there’s not too much food nearby in case you want to eat in your room.

I liked that they had an iron and board. Staff was friendly and helpful. It would be better if they had a chair outside the door. The shower did not have anywhere to turn it on. You had to turn on both faucets and then it would start. No matter how you set it, the water would turn freezing cold and then scalding hot to warm etc

Heater took HOURS to warm up the room. There were stink bugs. Room was a little dirty. Sheets had some mold stains. I got charged a “pet cleaning fee” and my dogs didn’t dirty anything. We only stopped there to sleep. Water pressure sucked.

This is an ok hotel-- was at an event at Nelson Ledges Race Course and stayed here. This is our second time staying here. Pros-- price, quiet, easy parking at door, seems safe, air conditioner works well. Cons-- location is a little isolated from everything, shower temperature fluctuates suddenly and greatly (I'm assuming when others are showering or using water its causing hot/cold imbalance in other rooms pressure was great just shocking when temps change) but the rooms are clean enough and ok for our purpose as we stay out most of the time at car racing and events and are only there to shower and sleep. Will return next year!

this place was good for the price. i stayed 4 nights, and i was pleased with the service, however, you are limited to what you can get, to get some food, or other items you have to drive into town, but other than that. can't complain about it. i enjoyed my stay. recommend for someone who needs to stay a few nights, and don't want to break the bank.

This property is clean, quiet, and quaint. It's a good value for the price. The amenities are slim (this is not a resort) but you get what you pay for. A comfortable bed, and a clean, well taken care of room. For those traveling on a budget or construction, I would highly recommend. There is not much within walking distance (a fairly stocked gas station with a pizzeria) the town of Newton Falls is very close and offers pretty much anything you need in terms of basics.

Wi-Fi and TV were not working but that was out of the owners control.

Would be nice enter the lobby and see a smiling face instead of a phone with a sign that reads “dial 0 for service”.

We did not stay. I walked in the lobby and had to pick up a dirty phone to dial someone to come check me in. The lady was very nice. That's the only positive. The room did not look like the picture; it looked like a room where I'd be waiting on a twenty-dollar hooker. The beds had tan/greenish/plaid spreads that were wrinkled; looked like someone had sat on them. I returned my key, told them we weren't staying, and left. When we got to our new hotel, which was closer to our event anyways, I told my friend that at least I wasn't concerned about possible hidden cameras in the bathroom. Maybe I'm a hotel snob, but I just couldn't stay here.

I booked at 4p because of an ice storm that night in my area (and I needed to travel near this hotel the next morning which is an hour from my house). I arrived about 9:45p. The check-in lady said \"give it a few minutes to warm up.\" The room was FRIGID and not that much warmer than outside despite the fact that they knew I was coming for hours and prepaid. I used the hairdryer to warm myself about 15-20 minutes per hour over the next four hours until the room warmed enough to fall asleep. I try to support small businesses but this was ridiculous. I won't stay here again.

Paid for 3 days in advance the reviews seemed decent. No extras at motel period. Not even a coffee pot in room. No hot water, I put down the tub towel to step on outside shower and it was dirty on backside never washed. There was leftover pizza in microwave from another customer. I left the door open for maid to clean it out and nope she left it. All heated up and squished up piece of pizza. The second day maid came in and no change of linens. Did not shave for the time I was there

The plus side was you could park your car right outside your room

Scary disrespectful man working at check in

The man checking me in was very rude. I asked him why I had to fill out all my information again even though I had done it online when I reserved the room. He answered and I said okay but didn’t make eye contact with him (I guess?) when I said ok and he started yelling at me and saying I couldn’t stay there unless I made eye contact with him. He continued to yell at me to “behave!” And “look at me” while I was just standing there trying to get my key. He was scary and I don’t think he should be able working there. I don’t know who thinks they can yell at people and tell them to “behave” and demand eye contact from a stranger

There were people living there, someone totally out of their mind, no nothing, ok, so realize you are staying at a lost beat-up motel with people who I presume running it who are so aggressive I called the police. They responded, I left. Look all over the net, that place is known for what we left like there was a fire type of left but I had to wait for police. There is poor response there, and I can't say this stronger, beware..

Needs a good scrub!

It would of sufficed for one night. Was very happy they allowed pets. When I left I felt something on my neck and it was, surprise, a tick! My pups get their monthly tick guard. So it must of been in the room, waiting for me!!!

EH!!!

The gentelman that checked me appeared to be preoccupied. He tried to charge me an extra $10 for mt daughter. When I disputed the charge he got upset and stated \"Nothing is for free in America my friend.\" I explained that I was upset because I didn't find out about the extra $10 until check in. I booked the room online. He simply said that is the fault of Hotels.com. I paid the $10 and went to my room. A few minutes later the phone in the room rang and the front desk asked me to bring my reciept back so they could remove the $10 charge. While doing so they double charged my credit card. They enetually got it corrected but overall it was a huge pain in the butt. I was so tired by the time I got into bed I didn't even care if the double charge stayed.

Ok for a stop overnight

Room needed trim paint was peeling, noisy right off the turnpike, no breakfast not even coffee. Vending machine was broken.

I like that no carpet in the room but the floor needed mopped, three wall mounted lights in the room needed brighter light bulbs was hard to see.
Needed weather stripping on the bottom of the door large gap let rain water into the room.
Cold water knob on the tub wouldn't budge needed maintenance.
Bed was ok liked the pillows, towels on the small and thin side.

The front desk guy was extremely rude. He said he gets upset when people book thru Expedia and not with him directly. He kept interrupting me and he was loud and aggressive. When i answered his questions by knodding my head he said he doesn't like that and to answer by saying yes. He asked me three times if I was going to have a lady in the room. That was very creepy. I would have canceled it there wasn't the no refund policy. The rooms phone didn't work. And no coffee maker in the room. He told to walk to the gas station for coffee. The soap didn't lather at all. He's probably the owner so he won't be fired. But i feel like he definitely be. I've worked for a nice Patel family in Houston back in 2003-2007 doing night audit at three of their choice hotels. I currently do customer service on the phone working from home. So i extra always nice to people in the service industry. This guy is a terrible fit to deal with people.
