The suite was large, with ample space for a family of four (with 2 teens). The Falls view was lovely: we enjoyed watching the fireworks from the room at night! The beds were very comfortable but the sofa bed really was not! (at least the one in our room) If you are planning to stay for longer than a couple of nights, I would avoid having to use the sofa bed as an additional bed. Overall a lovely hotel otherwise, within walking distance of many attractions.

Getting a falls view room is worth it for the view. There was fireworks every night at 10pm from the park across the river.

Clean rooms, the salt water pool and hot tub was fantastic. The look of the hotel with all the stone and wood was stunning. Great location as well, 10 minute walk one way to the top of Clifton Hill and 10 minute walk the other way is the top of the niagara rail to Table Rock. Only thing we wish was that the steak house resturant would have been open when we were there as it is closed so the eating area they do have open is really tiny and a fraction of the menu available.

Booked through Expedia. Was contacted 48 hours prior to leaving for my trip that hotel was overbooked and I was being out at another hotel. Was not given a confirmation for the new hotel and just expected to deal with the change. Was told rates and parking would be the same, yet new hotel was charging me more and I spent hours on the phone trying to fix the problem. One big headache that I wish I had been made aware of way earlier to make my own decision on where to stay.

We’ve stayed at this property before and loved it. This last trip there was a private event the whole time and part of the restaurant was closed for the event. It would’ve been nice to know this beforehand so we could plan other options. We kind of had to venture out and find different food. We were disappointed because we like the restaurant in the hotel.

I was moved to another hotel a few blocks away and notified a couple of days before my stay. After they moved me, I checked and realized it was a smaller room and a more expensive parking. So I paid much more than expected for a smaller room without any apology or refund. After ten calls, I still haven't received a refund, and was told they will get back to me tomorrow. Let's see.

Let's start with the good. The staff at the front desk were unfailingly polite and professional, and greeted us with cookies on arrival. The room was spacious and clean, and had a great view of the Niagara skyline and nightly fireworks, and everything was within walking distance. Now the not so good. We had to pay $35 CAD to park, nightly, go ahead and add that to the room fee. The inhouse restaurant , Buchanan's, was never open the whole three nights we were there, apparently "closed for a private event". To even enter the hotel, we routinely had to walk through clouds of cigarette smoke from staff taking breaks leaning against the building. There was a slightly alarming level of security all around the the inside of the hotel, which didn't stop us from being shoved out of an elevator by two very drunk women having a very public fight, which ended with them running screaming into the parking lot barefoot. The area around the hotel itself was a little sketchy, with empty parking lots and jersey barricades. To sum up, room, view, and staff were good, location and ambiance could have been better.

The hotel is in a great location and there is a large car park (for a fee) which is convenient. However, it would have been nice to have been told in advance about the large ‘function’ being held during our stay which meant there was security everywhere and the restaurant was closed. The on site Starbucks also served me a dairy flat white, despite asking for oat milk three times and checking with them. There was only one working elevator out of three, and being on the 14th floor, stairs weren’t really an option. We once waited 20 minutes for an elevator which is not acceptable. The room was big and had good views, especially of the fireworks.

Arrived before checkin time, staff was happy to accommodate our parked vehicle while we took in a boat tour of the falls. And when we requested an upper room to view the falls and fireworks even better, we were placed on the top floor! All rooms have a view of the fireworks, but we appreciated being on the 17th floor! Very Nice facilities, only comment would be the short time elevator doors stay open, when trying to navigate a luggage cart in.

The staff at the front were very helpful, checked in early and made sure we had priority since getting to the hotel earlier than 4 PM. This stay was interesting to say the least - there was a “private event” but nothing seen out of the ordinary event wise. Yet there was weird Foreign security guards staring at you and everywhere. Outside of elevators, outside the pool/arcade, in the lobby, etc. Didn’t have hotel logo or clothing on. Very confusing and intimidating for no reason. Will never stay here again.

We always stay here when we come to Niagara Falls. This time did not seem as nice. There were security guards everywhere which made it feel like the hotel was unsafe. The elevators were not working when we first got there. Pool was very chlorinated which made it pretty unbearable to go for a swim. Maybe why no one was there. Parking seemed to be more expensive than previous years which we found ridiculous since the lot was not even full and it’s literally on the same property as the hotel. Not sure if we will come back here.

There seemed to be an over-abundant amount of security with some floors even having security guards but it didn’t help. I phoned the front desk multiple times when someone chose to knock on multiple doors on the 18th floor every 30 minutes throughout the night. Security doing their rounds didn’t seem to help. This happened for almost 3 hours. I received an apology from staff - that is it.
The next day, there was screaming in the hall while I was in a business meeting. It was reported it to the staff & again just an apology and another excuse.
Do not stay here. It is definitely not worth the cost. Completely unacceptable conditions & response by the staff.

While the hotel is centrally located and a beautiful place to stay, the atmosphere was scary! There were security guards at every entrance and even on the main floors from 3-10 guarding the hallways. It appeared that people were living on main floors because they didn’t seem to be vacationing. As a single mom of 3 children it felt uneasy.

We rented a very expensive room, falls view suite double queen and the air conditioner wouldn’t work in the bedroom. Had maintenance come work on it twice in the 2 nights we were there, and it still wouldn’t cool so we stayed hot while we slept.

The property was good. The room was clean and enjoyable, great views of the falls. We even got to watch the nightly fireworks right from our room.

The vibe at the whole place was off though. There was some sort of private event in the restaurant the day we checked in and out. There were security guards everywhere patrolling, like almost too many. It was suspicious. It felt odd. In the afternoon of the day we arrived the police and an ambulabce also arrived. I’m
Not sure what the private event was but the whole vibe felt sketchy and I was happy to check out and hit the road. The staff is great and the property is nice. Not sure about the events they hold there.
