The staff were helpful, room was decent, and breakfast was good. Only issue was, book a room for 4, so came with a sofa bed that didn’t function well. Also, water wasn’t provided at the room or during breakfast.

Amir
fair place to stay just noisy floor. upper floor kid was bouncing up and down.
Chloe
The stay was great other then the door not being able to lock unless you really put force into it, the blankets were horrible the cover itself had the zipper ripped off so the blanket kept falling out of it. I had originally bought a single bed room but they moved us to a double bed room which was alright because the room was bigger but wasn’t needed. overall it was an okay stay.
Nader
The staff were very nice .

Me sorprendí cuando lleve esta más bonito de lo que vi cuando lo rente en mi aplicación muy limpio recomendado

good place, comfy bed. Nice selection for breakfast. Free parking! We will stay again :)

Could have been better breakfast option and also no drinking water facility should be changed.

Just a bit more cleaning is needed. Otherwise everything was ok.

Here's a polished and balanced version of your review:
> Our stay had both positives and negatives. The biggest concern was the cleanliness of the room. Housekeeping was not thorough, as we found a rotten apple and used plastic cups underneath the beds. In the breakfast area, there were ants around the cereal station. I also observed an employee pick up a pair of tongs used for handling ice after they had fallen on the floor and place them back into the container without washing them, which was concerning from a hygiene standpoint. On the positive side, the hotel accommodated an early check-in at 1:00 p.m., which we greatly appreciated.

The breakfast was worth it. But I am a sucker for eggs and fresh made waffles.
The AC unit was awful and they seem to keep their garbage in one of their stair wells. Unfortunately the closest one to my room. Like 8 big black bags and the warm stair well made it stink.

Its not about the Service and Clean, I was cancel the tickets but not refunded, it is not customer friendly. I had good lesson and worest experience with Expedia. I cancelled the tickets not refunded two bookings around 350$ I lost it. because of Expedia.
Property owners saying that you booked through Expedia. we can not cancel and refund the amount.

Overall a decent place. Free parking and 20 min walk to the falls. Breakfast was very good. Price was best I could find. Sink drained slowly.

I liked the appliances provided and I did not like the smell of carpeted flooring in the room. Please use room freshener

Everything was great with the check in. The continental breakfast was good, great way to start your morning. It was a good location to downtown. Parking was a bit limited but we always found a spot.
Asif
I stayed there 3 days every week, I work in Niagara Falls prices are cheaper than other hotels, plus free breakfast and and free parking.
Michel

During my stay the staff were friendly and helpful, needed any room amenities just ask. Breakfast was well catered for, this is my third stay and would do so again
Additional walk being located at bottom of Stanley Avenue but only a few minutes, to centre of Niagara and attractions.

Olga
Ok I can say but some insects like ants
Craig
Too noisy for me. Floor above us loud .
Gabrielle
It is definitely a very old hotel, but it was quite functional and had nice charm. Our first room had a funky smell, but we were quickly and easily relocated to a new one.
It was a very convenient location, near the Falls and Clifton Hills! Be aware of parking though - the hotel does have a parking lot for guests, but it filled up quickly on the second night and turned into a bit of a gridlock.

We would stay here again! We upgraded to a room with a balcony very easily. Lots of choices for breakfast to leave you satisfied. Staff are friendly and helpful! Comfortable rooms with everything you need to make your stay great!
Sushank
Had a really bad experience, since the owner has changed the place is not clean anymore, staff is rude, they don’t apologies for anything wrong, there are bed bugs all over the place, bed sheets are not clean, breakfast waste of time rather pay for breakfast somewhere outside lastly the parking is so congested even on weekdays.
Oluwafemi
Great customer service
Susanna
Parking is free. Nice and quiet at night. Beds were comfortable. It would br nice if you could have eggs at breakfast. The rest of the breakfast was good. Nice coffee maker with chouces for how you like your coffee. Eady to find. The staff were very friendly.
Richi
This hotel is worth the price on Expedia… it was a good place to stay at. It is a bit of an older building and breakfast was just so so… other than that good place 😊
Barbara
Everything was great...will be returning
Krishawn
Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was pretty good for a continental…coffee was not good but there were fresh waffles. About 15-20 walk to Clifton/Falls. Free parking. Overall decent place to stay on a budget in the falls.
Stephen
We booked a room with a queen bed and ended up with a double bed. Instead of a bathtub and shower we ended up with a single shower. Unfortunately there were no hot proteins for the breakfast menu and only cold boiled eggs available as a substitute! The most disturbing aspect on check-in was their insistence to photocopy my drivers licence. From an identity theft perspective this was a major concern for me! While I did get the photocopy back on checkout none of the other hotels that I have checked into recently have scanned or photocopied my drivers licence so I am wondering what their reasoning is for it?
Kelly
Clean, nice staff, pleasant vibe. I did not wake up in time for breakfast.

The staff were amazing and very friendly. The room however.. you get what you pay for. There was a centipede in the bath tub. There also was hair on the sheets. But however we tried to make the best of it. The breakfast…
May
The room that we booked at Expedia did not come with a microwave. So, my husband and i decided to transfer and upgrade to a room with microwave and balcony. Harita and Asim made the upgrade process very smooth. All staff at Glengate are very warm and helpful.
This is our third time to stay in this hotel and they never disapppoint. It feels like home. Room is always clean and quiet. We will come back again for sure. Affordable and great value.

It was absolutely amazing like every single time we’ve been before. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Close to everything we walk everywhere. Clean rooms and breakfast is delicious too.
Marcia
My room was clean, breakfast was fresh, was lucky to get a parking spot near the front door every night and the front desk staff members were pleasant. Will stay there again.
Sorina
Excellent bed and shower. Great breakfast area.
Suggestion to upgrade to smart TVs. The existing ones are old and sometimes malfunctioning.
Overall score 4.25 out of 5.

The room was clean the cleaning people did a great job with that. The room needs updating. Our room key worked only here and there, tv remote did not work. Breakfast i feel like could use more options like your eggs, meat and waffles every day of the week so we had to go elsewhere for our breakfast. Staff was very nice and accommodating to you. Parking was alittle tight but we never had a problem.
Dev
Yes but if fresh boiled eggs it will more best
Marilou
Property looks fine. Friendly staff & very accommodating especially Supreme (the owner?). Our room is quiet spacious. However few comments in the bathroom:
-Shower floor very slippery
-could have added a body wash at the shower
-towels could have been thicker
-need enough shelves and/or table in the bathroom for toiletries etc
Otherwise, its a good hotel to stay around Fallsview.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Reviews and photos are terribly misleading.
We left without checking in after reviewing one room and they refuse to refund us for nine rooms we had booked and paid for.

John
Clean room and lobby - nothing broken in the room.
Ryland
Staff were courteous. Breakfast was good with decent variety. Room was clean but the pillows were stained with sweat/drool from overuse, the room also has very thin walls so you could hear people from walking around the corridor or from upstairs. We were placed near an electric room so we could also hear the generator from time to time especially during the night. Don't recommend if your a light sleeper. Room 113.

Everything was good. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good too. Just the washroom lock was not working.
Brenda
Clean and descent breakfast.
PRIMUS
Cleans and exceptional service. Breakfast was topnotch. Highly recommend!. The only fear is asking for credit card details which is new to me. But above all it was a great experience.

Long weekend overnight stay(Family day). Parking spot was a bit of a stress due to unavailability, around 5pm. Asked the front desk rep about it and showed the monitor where all possible spots are already taken. Room 102 was close to the hallway door and could hear the doors closing/banging. Tub drain was not draining well - dirty drain water tends to pile up and undesirable to step on. Could hear the children running on the unit above. Long weekend room price more than twice the regular weekday price. The breakfast room manager (supervisor/manager i guess) was the only person who greeted us \"good morning\" with a smile. Would have been better if his staff was the same. Breakfast was average.

Sapna
overall it was good.

Washroom smelled like cigarettes although no smoking signs everywhere. The mattress was also terrible, every time you'd move it would creak loudly.
Omar
The staff were courteous, and the check-in was very simple and efficient. The location is excellent and the room was clean. Great value! Will definitely be staying here the next time I’m in the Niagara Falls area.
Patricia
Coffee maker in the room would be nice. Instant doesn't cut it.
